Robin's Nest Page 10

by Melissa Stevens

I opened the top drawer of my nightstand and found a small bottle. Flipping open the top I held it over his chest, carefully dripping a small amount onto his nipples. He flinched when the cool liquid hit his sensitized skin.

I moved my hand and couldn't help but grin as his body jerked and he let out a whimper as I drizzled the oil onto his hard cock. I set the bottle on the nightstand and used both hands to spread the oil over his erection, coating the entire length and keeping it from dripping away.

I bent down and blew across one nipple and then the other, watching them draw even tighter as the air rushed across the slick moisture. I pulled one tiny button into the heat of my mouth and gently nipped at it with my teeth before blowing across it again. I repeated the treatment to the other side before moving lower, letting my hair trail across his stomach and reveal to him where I was going.

I moved so I was between his thighs, one hand resting on each of his legs. I bent low and took one testicle and then the other, in turn, into my mouth. I rolled them around with my tongue, enjoying the flavor of the oil and tormenting him at the same time. After a few moments, he tensed and moved. I looked up to find him grabbing at the headboard as he tried to hold still.

I moved slowly, licking my way up from the base of his penis as I held it upright with one hand. Reaching the top, I pulled the swollen mushroom-like head into my mouth, sucking hard.

"Sam." Robin shouted as I began to work my mouth up and down the shaft.

I worked his cock deeper into my mouth, maintaining suction as I moved.

"I'm gonna come, Sammie." He rasped, barely able to speak.

I pushed him deeper into my mouth and ran my tongue over the sensitive edge at the base of the head. He couldn't hold back any longer and erupted down my throat screaming my name.

I slowly lifted off him, pulling away completely for a couple of seconds.

"Sammie?" He still couldn't see me and because the music was still running, he couldn't even tell if I was still in the room.

I turned off the music, then removed the blindfold and grinned down at him. "Enjoying?"

"Oh yeah." A slow smile spread across his face as his eyes found me. "Can you untie me now?"

  "Why?"

"So I can return the favor."

"Nope. You said it was my turn and I'm not done. You're gonna stay where I want you until I'm ready to untie you." I smiled. "Are you thirsty?"

  "A little."

"I'll be right back." I quickly got a glass of water from the kitchen, without bothering with a shirt or even a robe. I held the glass close so he could sip from the straw without being untied. When he'd had his fill, I set the glass aside, picked up a condom packet from the table and opened it with my teeth before bending over to kiss him again.

"Mmm, cherry," he said as I pulled away. "I wondered what that was."

I kissed him again, stopping only to work my way down his body again, pausing to lick and bite at one nipple and then the other.

  "You're killing me." Robin groaned.

I looked up through my lashes and found him watching my every move, his eyes filled with heat. "I'm killing you, huh?"

"Yes." His teeth locked together as I slid my hands lower and unrolled the condom over him then continued to move one hand lower, and play with the sensitive orbs dangling below.

"Is this torture?" I breathed across his skin.

  "The sweetest kind."

I slowly crawled back up his body, one knee on either side of him, until we were eye to eye again.

"I considered leaving you tied for this," I murmured against his lips, "but I thought you might want to participate more." I reached above his head and freed his hands.

He captured the tip of one breast in his mouth where I'd unintentionally let it hang in his face.

"Oh." I gasped and my back arched, dropping my breasts closer to him, he pulled harder at the taut bud while I fought to untie his hands.

I tried to scoot down the bed, but Robin's hands on my sides stopped me.

"Not yet." He moved his head to the other side so he could treat my other nipple with the same tongue and teeth action the first had gotten. I squirmed against him and the sensations threatened to overwhelm me.

After a moment, he let me go and I scooted downward until I felt the hardness of his cock nestled against the heat of my core. Robin brought his hands up my body to cup and knead my breasts, then he leaned up to take one tip into the damp heat of his mouth.

I carefully angled my hips and dropped myself down over him until my pelvis rested against his and his long, hard cock was buried inside me with one long stroke. I started moving, slow at first, lifting my body up, until just the tip remained, and then slowly sinking back down. Robin's hands roamed my body, up my thighs, over my waist, cupping and squeezing my breasts then moving on to start all over. When I leaned down, his arms slid up my neck and cupped my head and face for a moment before moving down to take a firm grip on my ass, helping me to maintain the rhythm I had set.

I bent close and kissed his lips softly, then moved my lips to his ear. "You said you wanted sweet and gentle, right?"

  "Yeah."

"Is this slow and sweet enough for you?"

He groaned beneath me. "Yeah, it's good."

"I'm glad, because do you know what I want?"

  "What?"

"This." I slammed my hips down, plunging him deeper inside me than he had been reaching. I repeated the move, setting a quick, rough pace. Robin's hands went to my hips and gripped tight. He lifted me over him and pulled me down hard, helping me to increase our pace until we both screamed in release. Together, we collapsed onto the bed, gasping for air.

When I could move again, I sat up and untied the scarves around his ankles so he could move around and use the bathroom. We fell asleep tangled together like a mental puzzle.

  18

I woke to kisses being scattered over my face and shoulders. I opened my eyes and watched Robin until he noticed I was awake.

"Good morning." I stretched against the bed. "What are our plans for today?"

"We agreed to go to Sunday dinner at my parents' house."

"That's right, I'd forgotten. Have you told them yet?"

  "About us?"

"No, about the aliens that landed on Mount Rushmore." Sarcasm dripped from my voice. "Duh, yes about us."

"They know how I feel about you, I told them that before you woke, but I haven't told them you feel the same, or about the change in things between us." He pulled me against his side and held me against him. "Bruce may have said something, but all he's seen is one touch, I haven't said anything to him.

"How do you think they'll react?" I was more than a little nervous.

"I think they'll be thrilled, Sam. They love you." He kissed the end of my nose. "How could they be anything else?"

  "Bruce wasn't so thrilled."

"Bruce likes to feel like he's protecting people. He was trying to protect us both." His eyes filled with laughter. "His warning was really kind of funny."

"Yeah, it was." I smiled back. "But I'm still nervous."

"It'll be fine, trust me," he said, pulling me tighter against him. "They'll be thrilled, just like Sophia is. Do you trust me?"

"You know I trust you. If I didn't trust you, you wouldn't be here. "

"Good." He placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "Now, they aren't expecting us until one, so what do you want to do this morning?"

  "What time is it now?"

  "About eight."

I was quiet for a moment, thinking. "So, we have about three hours to kill."

"Three? We don't have to be there for five."

"Yes, but it will take us thirty minute to get there, plus an hour for me to ready, and add in another twenty for me to mix up the cake that will bake while I get ready. So, three hours to kill."

"Cake?" Robin frowned. "Why a cake?"

"To take with us. I can't show up empty handed."

  "Why not? I do."

&nbs
p; "Number one, you are their son." I started listing reasons. "Number two, you are male. Number three, Aunt Sophia will kill me if she finds out I showed up for Sunday dinner with your family without taking something. So I'll mix up a cake and take it with us."

"If you say so." He gave up, still not understanding.

"I say so. Now, as I was saying, we have three hours to kill…" I trailed off as I stretched up to kiss him.

We arrived at Robin's parents’ house fifteen minutes early. His mother greeted us at the door with smiles and hugs.

"It's so wonderful to see you, dear." Robin's mother, Janice, said, her arms still wrapped around me. "I'm so glad that you're well!" She kissed my cheek.

I've always thought of Robin's family like they were my own since we were kids. With the way things had changed between Robin and me, I was more than a little nervous about how they would react.

"What's this?" Janice motioned to the cake plate Robin was carrying for me.

"I brought a cake, pistachio pound."

"You didn't have to do that." She laid one hand against her chest. "We just wanted to see you."

I smiled. "Aunt Sophia worked so hard to pound good manners into my head, I couldn't let her down." I shrugged. "She insisted that I at least know how to act like a girl, even if I chose not to most of the time. She'd have a heart attack if she found out I'd attended a family dinner and didn't bring anything."

"That's very sweet, Sammie." She gave me another hug.

For some reason when I'd turned fourteen, I'd insisted that everyone call me Sam instead of Sammie. Janice was one of the few who never did, but from her, it felt right.

"Where's Floyd?" I looked around for Robin's father. "I'd like to give him a hug, too."

"He's in the family room and Bruce should be along anytime."

"That's fine. Let me go say hello and I'll be right back."

As I headed for the family room, I heard Janice talking to Robin. "I'm so glad to see you, tell me, how are things going? Is she doing as well as she appears?"

I didn't stick around to hear his answer, but continued into the other room in search of Robin's father. It wasn't long before I made my way to the kitchen where Janice was working on dinner. The meal wasn't supposed to be on the table until two o'clock, but everyone was required to show up by one, so there would be time to spend together before eating. It had been this way since we were kids.

I rolled my sleeves as I walked into the room, heading straight to the sink to wash my hands. "What can I do to help?" I met Robin's look and nodded my head in the direction of the living room. He got up and went to see his father. We'd decided earlier that we wanted to tell them when we were all together and this seemed like perfect timing, before Bruce had a chance get there and say something.

"You aren't expected to help. You're a guest."

"I insist on helping, Janice. You and I both know I haven't been a guest here in more than twenty years. If you start treating me like one now, I'll be insulted."

I turned away from the sink as Robin returned. Floyd wasn't far behind, a slightly confused look on his face.

Picking up a towel, I dried my hands, while I waited for what I knew was coming. Floyd sat in the chair Robin had been in earlier while Robin came to stand beside me, one arm going around my waist.

"Mom, Dad," Robin said. They both looked at him, expectant. "Sam and I wanted to talk to you."

Janice stopped tearing lettuce and gave us her undivided attention.

"I told you how I feel about Sam while she was in the hospital. After she woke, I discovered that I'm not alone. Her feelings run deeper than I had any clue. We're not sure where things will go, or how they'll work out in the end, but we've decided to give it a try. We wanted you to hear it from us, not as town gossip." He squeezed me to him. "Things have moved fairly quickly and there may be some rumors. Sam and I are seeing each other, seriously."

"Oh, dear." Janice gasped. Her hands flew up to cover her mouth as tears started running down her face.

  "About damned time." Floyd muttered.

Robin began again. "When Bruce brought my truck to me on Friday he saw Sam wrap her arm around me, like I've got her now. The next morning when I talked to him, he warned me. He discouraged me from seeing her, but he also told me not to hurt her. I know he was only trying to protect us, but because of it, Sam's nervous about how the two of you will take the news."

I was still afraid. I didn't know what Janice's tears meant and I wasn't certain I'd heard Floyd right. I was afraid they wouldn't think of me as family anymore or even want me around. I was afraid the change in my relationship with Robin would damage my relationship with his parents.

"Oh, dear," Janice said again. This time she rushed forward and wrapped both arms around me. "I'm so happy. I've been praying for this for years."

A huge wave of relief crashed over me.

"We're not sure it will work out, or how long it might last, so don't start making plans. I'm very happy and things are great so far, but I've only been out of the hospital for three days."

"I understand, dear." She said, but I could tell she was only saying it to pacify me. She was clearly making plans far into the future.

I turned to Floyd, who was pushing himself out of his chair.

"Samantha, you've been a member of this family for years. Do you really think something like this would change how we feel about you?" His voice was gruff, like always. "If it did, it would only be to love you more."

  My face heated.

"As for Bruce," Floyd continued, "he's a protector but he resists change. You do what's right for the two of you. He'll learn to accept it. This one on the other hand," he looked at Robin, where he'd moved to stand behind me when his mother hugged me, "if he gives you any trouble, come to me, I'll straighten him out. I’ll show him again how to treat a woman right." He grinned then gave me a hug. "We couldn't find a better woman for him if we tried, or one that loves him more. Even if you haven't realized it yet." He said the last so quietly only I could hear him.

"Dad!" Robin laughed. "You guys are supposed to be on my side. You're my family."

Floyd let me go and looked at Robin. "Son, we are your family, but this little girl here, she's family too. She has been since the first time you brought her home with skinned knees, covered in mud and crying because those boys were picking on her again.

"I've been waiting for this ever since then. It took the two of you longer than I thought it would, but at least you finally got here." He gave me another quick hug and a kiss on the cheek, then thumped Robin on the back with one hand, as if congratulating him. Together they headed back to the family room, and I heard Floyd say, "She's a good woman, you hold on to her."

I didn't hear Robin's reply, but I didn't need to. I turned back to Janice and asked again what I could do to help.

The rest of the meal and visit was uneventful, but enjoyable. It had been quite a while since I'd spent any time with Robin's family and I realized I had missed it.

  19

The next day, Robin took back the care of the farm from Bruce. He got up and left early, just after the sun came up. As soon as it was late enough for the office to be open, I called the rental agency in Safford and reserved a car.

Because Robin was working, I asked my friend, Jenny to see if she could take me to pick it up. I'd tried to call her a couple of times since I got home, but we hadn't been able to connect. I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard her pick up the call.

"Hey, girl. About time you talked to me."

"I've called, every day, but we keep missing each other."

"I know, I've been busy. I've been meaning to stop by make sure your cousins aren't making you crazy."

"I'm good, and I haven't seen the boys since they dropped me off on Thursday."

"They've left you all alone for three days? I don't believe it."

"Well, I haven't been alone, but they haven't been here." I hedged.

  "Did
you meet some hot guy while you were in Tucson and bring him home with you? Are you living in sin with him now?"

My face heated. I knew she was only teasing but I still blushed. "Not exactly. Is there any chance you can take me to Safford today? I need to go pick up a rental."

"Sure. No problem, but you're gonna have to spill about who's been with you since you got home if it's not the boys."

"Come and get me and I'll fill you in."

"It'll take me bit to get away here, so I'll see you in forty-five minutes to an hour. Is that okay?"

  "That's great. I'll be ready."

  "See you then."

I disconnected and hurried to get ready before she got there.

  ***

A little over an hour later, I sat in the passenger’s seat of Jenny's Escort, on our way to Safford.

"Now spill. Tell me why your family hasn't been hovering over you like nursemaids for the last four days."

My face heated again and I looked out the passenger's window, wondering how she would react. "Because Robin's been staying with me."

"I figured he'd be like your family, taking a shift and keeping an eye on you. Why has his being there kept your family away?"

"I don't know that it's kept them away, as such. I think it's more that they trusted Robin to call them if something happened."

"But why did they leave it up to Robin? After spending a week in Tucson with you, I would expect them to be hovering here, too."

"Don't get me wrong, they haven't abandoned me. I've talked to at least one of them every day. But they've been giving Robin and me some space."

"Space? Why?" She shot me a frown before looking back at the road.

I hesitated, it wasn't that I didn't want to tell her, but at the same time, it was. Things between Robin and I were still new in some ways and I liked that it was something special between us. At the same time, the way I felt about him wasn't something I wanted to hide. "Things have changed with Robin." I didn't know how else to put it.
