Shifter: Stefan's Mark

"Stop thinking about him,” she told herself, glancing at her face in the mirror. “He isn't coming back."

As water poured over her head, Sidney found she was once again thinking about him. Or more accurately, she was thinking about the dreams, dreams she had ever since he walked out of her house. They were hot, intense, and full of caring that she never knew was out there. He was her lover, her friend, her companion on lonely nights. He filled her senses with a longing that Sidney wanted to explore.

Sidney closed her eyes and let her mind drift to the last dream she had, to the last feeling of being a woman desired by a man. She could feel his hands on her breasts, his fingers working the nipples to hard peaks as his lips traveled down her belly to the throbbing between her legs.

Sidney tossed her head back, enjoying the water that streamed down her neck as her own fingers trailed down her body to the wet mound of her pussy. Sidney sucked in her breath sharply when she touched her swollen clit. She was hot and wanted a much-needed release. Sidney let her fingers of one hand work her pussy while the other hand rubbed her nipples, and the water beat on her body as her mind pictured him. She saw him in her mind and could almost feel his mouth and hands on her, his hot breath caressing her in places she never knew were so sensitive or needy.

Sidney's breaths came in sharp gasps, her fingers quickly working her body. Soon Sidney was groaning in pleasure. The orgasm washed through her like the water washing over her. She felt flushed but more relaxed as she slowly came out of the trance she had set for herself. Before she shut the water off, Sidney thought she felt a finger trail down her back and a faint voice in the room.

  "Mine!"

In no time, the girls were dressed and ready to step out into the night for some fun. Both girls were dressed in tight leather skirts with matching halter tops. Jaclyn had put on spiked heels to give her small frame a bit of height, while Sidney, on the other hand, just wore small-heeled, knee-high boots, more so she could get used to walking in heels. For Sidney, it was the first time she had ever worn something so sexy, yet it wasn't that sexy. Jaclyn told her that it was time she dressed as a sexy woman and not some plain Jane.

Laughing and enjoying their time, Sidney hung onto Jaclyn's arm while they headed down the crowded streets. Beads were placed around their necks, lucky for them they didn't have to flash for them, and drinks shoved in their hands. Sidney was having a great time. Going out and experiencing life without having to look over her shoulder was nice.

Pushing their way into a club, Sidney smiled then started to laugh the moment Jaclyn was grabbed for a dance. With so many parties going on, it wasn't much of a shock to see someone grab her to dance. Sidney knew Jaclyn was fun to be around, and tonight, she was hot. Sidney tried to dance, but she found she didn't like having her ass grabbed or being propositioned to fuck. When she had enough of the creepy guys, she ordered herself another drink and looked around for some place to sit.

  * * * *

Stefan scanned the room with all senses on alert. He knew she was in town, knew that her father had done everything he could for four years to keep her from him. That sweet scent of his dreams came out from the night and drifted into the club. She was here!

Stefan smiled. Sidney was wearing his old jean jacket. A sense of ownership hit him from it. Just the sight of her wearing that jacket was enough for Stefan to know he still intrigued her. Four long years he had waited for her, waited for her to be old enough and ready for him. Her hair was a bit shorter than what he remembered, and it only brushed her shoulders, but it still had the soft, silky texture to it. He also noticed that she had a very nice shape. She wasn't too thin or too big. Her curves were in the right places, causing Stefan to want to devour her. There was not one part of her body he would not taste or touch.

Stefan growled deep in the back of his throat when he saw some guy put his hands on Sidney. One thought crossed his mind—rushing up to him and ripping his throat out for daring to put his hand on Stefan's woman.

Stefan rose slightly from his chair to go over but stopped. Sidney seemed to stop the guy and walked away. He kept his eyes on her while she headed to the bar and ordered another drink, and then she went to the far end of the club. He waited until she was almost in the shadows before he left his spot and strolled over to her.

The closer he got to her, the stronger her scent became. She still had that sweet and pure scent. He closed his eyes and took another deep breath, remembering the dreams they shared. The dreams he made her have about the two of them together in climatic pleasure. Stefan even gave Sidney her fantasies, and each time he thought about the two of them, his cock sprang to life and a smile slid across his lips.

Stefan moved within the crowd quickly to get to her. The moment she reached for her drink again, Stefan made his move. He was fast and quiet as he grabbed her wrist. With a quick motion, he turned her around, picked her up, and took her to a dark, out-of-the-way corner. Only when he had her against the wall did he let her feet touch the floor.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?” Her high-pitched voice told of her surprise. Stefan knew she hadn't been expecting anyone to grab her, especially him.

"Hello, Sidney.” His voice was smooth, playful, deep, letting the words flow in a purr. “I have missed you.” He finished in a soft whisper.

He watched her eyes, felt her stiffen while she slowly took in what he said. When he saw the recognition hit her, he moved. His mouth closed over hers in a deep kiss. A far different kiss from the first he had shared with her, Stefan poured his hunger and need into this kiss. He wasn't gentle, or soft and tender. This kiss was all demanding. He grabbed her ass and brought her closer to his hard cock, letting her get a good feel of his desire for her. Hands came up to his chest in a faint attempt to push him away but ended up holding on to his jacket.

Stefan tried to devour her. He couldn't get enough of her or get close enough. He wanted to eat her up, and if he wasn't careful, he might end up thrusting his cock into her right there against the wall. He broke the kiss but did not let her go. “Do you remember me?” he whispered against her lips. “Because I haven't forgotten you."

Sidney had an extremely difficult time thinking with him this close to her. His hands kneaded her ass, holding her tightly to him, grinding her against him. Yet, Sidney found it nearly impossible to stop looking at the lips that were so tempting. The lips that kept nipping and sucking on her own drove her crazy, robbing her of the ability to think.

"I want you, Sidney,” he said softly, brushing his lips over hers, “I have never stopped wanting you. Never stopped looking for you.” He kissed her deeply again, taking her breath away. “I told you then you were mine,” he whispered. “Always mine."

His words were like ice water. Chills went down her spine, as anger ran back up. Who in the hell was he to inform her of what his wants were and what he planned on getting. Sidney pushed with all her might at the hands that still gripped her ass. How she managed to free herself, she did not know.

"I'll never be yours,” she said venomously.

Stefan smiled and gave her a soft warning growl. He was about to respond to her, but the band in the club started a new song. Sidney used the small bit of distraction to slip from his arms and dash away.

Stefan growled and narrowed his eyes. “You can run, but you can't hide,” he said from behind her, his voice chilling her to the bone.

Sidney found Jaclyn at a table having a drink with some guy and rushed over to her friend.

"Hey, Sid!” Jaclyn yelled, “Come have a drink with us!"

"We need to go!” Sidney rushed out, glancing over her shoulder several times.

"Sidney!” Jaclyn yelled, still smiling until she glanced at her, and then Jaclyn's smile faltered. “What's wrong?"

"I need to get the hell out of here,” Sidney said again, checking over her shoulder again. “Now!"

"How many times do I have to tell you that he isn't going to find out?” Jacl
yn smiled. “He has no clue we are here.” Sidney gave her a tight expression. “This isn't about your father."

"What's going on?” She focused on Sidney with concern all over her face.

"Jacy. Please!” she cried, tugging on her friend. Sidney swallowed hard when she caught him strolling casually around the dance floor, keeping his eyes on her.

Jaclyn gazed up at her. “Okay."

Sidney fought with the crowd, trying to get out. When she scanned over her shoulder to the corner, he was gone. Her heart started to pound as pure fright overtook her. Where was he?

"Sid! What is wrong?” Jaclyn had to jog to keep up with Sidney.

Sidney pulled Jaclyn to the side of the room. Sidney was shaking, looking around. She was trying to see if he was near, waiting to attack her or something.

  "He's here,” Sidney said.

"Who's here?” Jaclyn sighed, staring at Sidney as if the girl had lost her mind.

"Him!” She started to tremble. Sidney peeked around them, acting like she was waiting for someone to jump out at them.

"Sidney.” Jaclyn crossed her hands over her breasts. “Who in the hell are you talking about?"

Sidney ran her hands through her hair, messing it up as she tried to take some calming breaths. “God, what do I do?"

"What you are going to do is calm down.” Jaclyn glanced around. “I don't see anyone that stands out."

Sidney peered over her shoulder again, waiting for him to emerge. Her hands were shaking and her nerves felt like they were shot. “He was here!” she hissed. “He had me in that corner. He ... he ... he..."

"Come on.” Jaclyn stood there looking around them as well before taking Sidney by the hand. “Let's go back to the room

  * * * *

Sidney stood at the window in a pair of shorts and a baggy shirt. She observed the people as they went by having a good time. She could not help wishing she were down there, that she was the one meeting new people, but she was not. She was up in her hotel room watching from afar, just as she did when she was around her father. She was hidden away, too scared to go out.

"He won't love you, Sidney, like I will." She heard the voice in her head. Sidney closed her eyes as it washed over her like a dream. "Stop fighting what we both know is inevitable."

"Stop it,” she moaned, rubbing her forehead.

"I can make you burn unlike anything you have ever known. I will take all the pain away that he has inflicted on you."

  "Stop,” she sobbed.

"She didn't leave that night because of you. She left because of him!"

"Stop it!” Sidney screamed and opened her eyes. The air rushed out of her as thick, strong, and confident fingers caressed her body.

She was facing him as she had so long ago. She felt his fingers, even his breath on her neck, but never his lips. His hands lightly grazed her chin, then her neck. She saw his hand moving down her body, saw the white lingerie she always wore in her dreams. His touches were so light she hardly felt them.

One hand trailed down her body and the other slid up her leg. Her head fell back at the feel of his hand under her nightgown. Still, he did not put his lips on her, but she knew they were close.

A moan escaped her lips when he stroked the curls between her legs. She was wet and waiting for him to caress her, almost to the point of begging him. He took two fingers and lightly rubbed on the outside of the lips, not touching her pussy, which is what she wanted most of all.

When he finally did slip a finger inside her, she almost climaxed right then, but he held her off.

He rubbed her clit, and she cried out. She was wound so tight. She held on to him, afraid that if she let go she would be lost in this world.

"No man will have what is mine, or touch you!” he warned in a deadly voice.

"Sidney?” Jaclyn walked into Sidney's bedroom seeming worried. “Are you all right?"

Sidney took a deep breath as the spell he had woven around her broke. She rested her forehead against the cool glass of the window. “He is in my head!"

"You're mine, Sidney. No other can give you what I can." The words whispering over her sent new sensations washing over her flesh.

Sidney looked out her window and groaned. In the midst of the crowd, he stood apart from them. He was leaning against one of the light poles, arms crossed over his chest, looking up at her room.

"I always get what I want, and what I want the most is you!" This time, his words were thick, demanding, and hard, giving her a warning chill.

"Okay, we have been in this damn room long enough.” Jaclyn plopped down on the bed, taking the magazine from Sidney. “Give. What is going on?"

Sidney took a deep breath before she glanced at her. “This is all my father's fault.” She groaned, dropping onto her back on the bed.

"Well, that one doesn't surprise me,” Jaclyn mumbled dryly. Sidney gave her a dirty look, which Jaclyn answered with a roll of her eyes. “Oh, don't give me that look. That man is out of his fucking mind to put you into the position he did. If he was going to do illegal shit, then he should have gotten you out of the house, not put you smack down in the middle of it."

"I should have stayed in my room,” Sidney whispered, standing back up to peek out the window again.

"And I should have stayed a virgin until I was married,” Jaclyn retorted, tossing the magazine aside. “Look, your father is a few cans short of a six pack. What he did was wrong, but do you really think that kid, boy, or whatever you want to fucking call him, is really going to come back here to mess with you?"

"I know he is.” She wrapped her arms around herself, fighting off a chill that seemed to creep into her bones. “You didn't see his eyes. You didn't see how determined he looked."

"No, but I don't think he is going to make that kind of mistake either."

Sidney shrugged at her best friend and tried to smile. “He already has."

"Oh, please.” Jaclyn snorted. “He isn't going to do shit. I bet he is only trying to scare you enough so you will call your dad. That sick bastard is doing nothing more than using you to get to him.

"Jacy, I think we should go home."

"Are you kidding me?” Jaclyn dropped back down on the bed. “We go home then that's it. End of story. Your father will never let you out again. What we do is make sure that bastard knows he isn't going to get the best of us."

Sidney saw the light in her eyes and couldn't help but smile. “You are crazy, you know that?” She chuckled.

"Damn straight I am.” She smiled back. “Now we are going to go out and have as much fun as we can. We will stick together and that dipshit won't be able to touch you or do anything else.” She touched Sidney gently on the side of the face. “I want my girl to have a kick-ass time."

Sidney took another deep breath with a shaky smile. “You're right. I need to put him behind me and live a little. Lord only knows what will happen when I get home."

The girls showered and, like the night before, dressed for a night out on the town. Jaclyn picked out a cotton skirt with a slit up the side and a matching white cotton top that hung off the shoulder for Sidney. Sidney picked up the jacket and slipped it on. Sidney smiled at how sexy she felt in the clothes. Her smile widened at the thought of what her father would say if he saw her dressed liked this.

They blended into the crowd well. Jaclyn made sure they hit a few clubs before they decided to stay at one. Sidney enjoyed herself and worked at forgetting about the encounter the night before by dancing with many different men and having a few drinks

  * * * *

Stefan watched her. His eyes never left her, and the deep growling in the back of his throat never stopped.

His eyes darkened as he kept his eyes on the other men putting their arms around her body, watching her being held as he worked extra hard at suppressing his beast who was threatening to come out with a vengeance. He sniffed other male scents on her, observed her laugh and smile at others, all the while wishing it were he who held her. That he wa
s the one to make her laugh and be carefree.

Stefan waited for the right moment to make his move. When it presented itself, he acted. Her back was to him, and she was laughing. Stefan strode up to her. His arm went around her waist, picking her up, carrying her away. Sidney cried out. Stefan quickly headed to a corner and sat her down on the table, with him between her legs. She looked at him with a shocked expression when she saw who had picked her up.

Stefan gave her a tight smile, and then kissed her deep. He sank into her, plunging his tongue into her mouth as his hands went around to her rear, cupping that ass once again.

"Umm,” he purred, breaking the kiss, “I bet the rest of you tastes just as good as what I have now.” He brushed his lips against hers. “I can't wait to see. It is killing me not to find out."

"Don't,” she begged, sounding defeated. “Please, let me go."

"You can't run from me, Sidney. You can't ran from us.” He hiked her skirt up, and his hands grazed her flesh. “I can smell your need, and I hunger for it as much as you hunger for me.” He licked the skin above her pulse under her ear. “We belong together,” he hissed in her ear seductively. “You belong to me."

"Someone help me,” she whimpered, peering around the club for anyone who might be nearby.

"Look at me.” Sidney turned her head to peek at him. He gave her a light kiss on the lips. “Do you really want someone to help you, Sidney? Remember, I know you. You haven't forgotten me after all this time, have you?” He trailed his lips down her throat, then to her ear. “I know you haven't. You wear my jacket.” He nipped at her bare shoulder. “Even now, after you have seen me, you still wear it,” he whispered in her ear. “You want me just as much as I want you."

  * * * *

The mention of the jacket brought her out of the trance he had put her in. Sidney pushed him away. She could see he was surprised when he took a step back and she could see his intent. Their eyes met as a chill went down Sidney's back. She knew those blue eyes and that sandy brown hair so well that it was spooky. She realized that four years ago, he had been but a boy, not a man like she had thought. Her breath caught in her throat as she stared at him. Now, he was all man.
