Band of Bachelors: Alex, Book 2 Page 4

by Sharon Hamilton

“Tell me what you like, Sydney,” he whispered to her ear while he twisted her nipple.

“I like the way you are so deep, Alex.”

“Yes, baby.” He continued to lift his hips up, raising her feet off the shower floor, digging deeper inside her. “Like that?”

  “Yes!”

The water had begun to go cold so Sydney turned it off. The remaining steam muffled her squeals as he plundered her. They adjusted. At one point, he was pressing her into the tile wall of the shower, her leg bent, and foot resting on the bench. Then she rode him from the front, her knees beside his hips on the bench seat. She pulled his hair as he felt her begin her orgasm. Her desperate moans rumbled throughout the enclosure, sending vibrations up his spine. She was losing control, urgently wrapping her legs around his waist as his pace quickened, building her climax to the brink. Her muscles clamped down on his member. His long strokes became faster and faster until he exploded, filling her.

They stared at each other without saying a word for several minutes, each exploring the other’s face. Her fingers squeezed his earlobes as she bent to kiss him.

“I’m glad you stayed,” she said between kisses.

  “Me too. I almost didn’t.”

“I know.” She played with the hairs that had fallen down across his brow. “Should we try the bed next?” she asked, kissing him on each eye.

“I think I’m up for that.”

She felt joy emanating from the knowledge that he liked to screw with intensity. And he wouldn’t be surprised, nor would he object to them going a third and perhaps a fourth round. And then they’d wait to see what the morning would bring.

She was already wishing it would never end.

  Chapter 5

  ‡

Alex woke with a start, not sure where he had landed. He could tell bright light poured into the room, because the edges of his closed eyelids were rimmed in fire. He dared not to open them, for risk of an enormous headache, until he could adjust the shades. Experienced with Saturday morning wakeups, he waited for his head to tell him how bad the hangover was going to be before he attempted to make things worse by getting up.

  But I feel fantastic!

Warmth and excited anticipation was pulsing throughout his whole body. Even his dick got hard, and then he felt her hand squeezing over it. All of a sudden, her lips were on him again, and oh boy! Was this number five? Six? Did it matter?

Alex squinted through the brightness as he adjusted his gaze. At first, the vision of Sydney straddling him, her long hair dropping to cover his thighs and her knees tightly hugging his knees, was blurry. But as she coaxed him and made loud sucking noises without trying to be delicate or ladylike, he was getting so hard and big, he felt he could screw all day.

Her head bobbed up and down on him. Her sultry eyes showed him how she liked to give orals, another very welcome surprise. He had a vague recollection of another person who liked this—oh yes, Brandy! Try as he might, he just couldn’t see Brandy’s face.

You’re a dickhead. You can’t even remember what your ex looks like?

Guilt began to rise inside his chest, like someone had stuck a rusty hook in it to fester. But then he felt those lips of Sydney’s nearly sucking his cock right off the stem.

Holy Mother of God—Sorry, Joanne. He closed his eyes but still saw a faint vision of his sister, her arms crossed, a scowl on her face, white wings flaring from her upper back.

He was yanked back to the bedroom as Sydney looped her tongue around him again, sliding him deep and gently past her canines, her strong fingers squeezing his balls.

Alex lifted his head and watched her. God, she was a sight. Beautiful and strong, her tanned shoulders and upper chest bathed in morning sunlight as she worked, really worked to get him off. He so appreciated a lady with a sense of purpose, who was self-motivating. He got the sense she’d never quit.

Should I worry about this? Hell, no.

Her eyelids remained closed as she concentrated, pulling him deep inside and down her throat as her thighs powerfully pushed his legs together. Her cheeks got concave as she sucked hard. He felt her sex hungrily drill down on his left leg, rocking back and forth there, up from his knees to mid-thigh in a slow arc. When she held herself steady against him, he felt the warm wetness extracted and could feel her muscles working. He watched her ecstasy bloom over him.

For a moment all time stopped while he watched her come. Her eyebrows drew together. Her elbows pressed her tits together, showing the hardened nipples he was hungry for. But he didn’t want to interrupt the perfection of her orgasm, performed like a dance, a private dance, for him and him alone.

She sat up, arching backward and moaned, clutching his legs, fucking his thigh. He reached for her clit and pressed a thumb against the little organ, and Sydney moaned again, then began to shudder. He continued to press and rub her nub back and forth. He wanted to tell her she was beautiful, that he loved watching her fly. That if he didn’t come all day, he could be satisfied just watching her take her pleasure with him—any way she wanted.

His cock remained pointed to the ceiling after she removed her hands, her chest heaving for air. She had leaned back like a bow, hands bracing at his ankles. Her chest was sweaty already, her breasts like firm melons, and tiny beads of sweat formed on her upper lip. The vision of her letting the orgasm wash over her was the perfect way to start a new day.

Then she rounded her shoulders, drawing her elbows forward to squeeze her tits together, making them double in size. She lay her hands over those beautiful orbs, eyes barely open. She tweaked her nipples as she groaned again, watching him observe her pleasure.

He couldn’t stay a bystander for much longer. His cock was anticipating an out-of-this-world encounter, and damn, he was going to feed it that. He needed to be inside her and feel the power of her pleasure.

He quickly drew to his knees. She allowed her body to fall back, knees bent, legs spread, ready for him. Her eyes flew open and a warm, light pink smile appeared on her full lips as the head of his cock entered her.

“Baby, I want to watch, but I need to feel it too,” he said as he plunged in.

“Yes,” she whispered. She threw her head back and drew him inside with her muscles.

She was slick and her lips were swollen. The wince at her right eye told him she was experiencing a little pain from their numerous lovemakings, but she bore it with pride. He didn’t want to hurt her, so he asked, “You okay, sweetheart? I mean—”

She threaded her fingers through the back of his hair and pulled him to her, nibbling on his lips, “Don’t say that. There isn’t any part of this I don’t love. I’m not a china doll.”

He lost himself inside her mouth, inside her channel. He swam through all the sensations of her touch, her taste and the heady smell of their combined bodies. Each thrust made him need her more. She was no china doll. And he was so glad, he could hardly keep his heart from exploding.

  She was just like him.

Alex was letting the day fill up with sex, and he didn’t feel a bit guilty. Sydney’s sleeping form was draped across his chest. He was proud he’d worn her out and didn’t have to be careful around her or worry about her being fragile. But his chest swelled with the full realization and pride that he’d fucked her hard, and she loved it and wanted more, but in the end, she’d collapsed. All his worries about her fled. As long as she stayed in his bed, in his arms, she would be safe. She didn’t need protection. She needed a man to rock her world 24/7. She needed it like the air they breathed.

  He was the same way.

With other women, Alex always felt he had to hold back. Now he’d found someone who loved intensity in life as much as he did. She was more than rare. She was the one in a billion woman he could be with for more than a few weeks of fun. He gladly accepted the addiction of her being.

Her skin was tanned, with sexy tan lines showing a thin patch of white skin on her incredible ass. Her legs went on to forever. Her thighs w
ere more developed than most guys he knew. And man, did she know how to use them! In bed, he didn’t notice their difference in height. He would get used to seeing them side-by-side, her at least four inches taller. His private Amazon. Unleashing all that intensity on him and, hopefully, him alone. He’d gladly take whatever it was she wanted to dish out.

The walls of her bedroom were light pink, which seemed odd to Alex as he didn’t think of Sydney as a girl with pink things but a woman in full dress camo, or scuba gear and rebreathers. He wanted to show her how to jump out of airplanes and fire weapons. He’d never felt that way before. There was always part of himself, as a SEAL, he wanted to keep stored safely inside. But now, after this brief encounter, he suddenly wanted to share with her everything about his lifestyle.

A glass bookshelf was overflowing with trophies. Posters signed by male and female volleyball players were hung in frames on every available wall space. Some of the faces he recognized. He noticed a fitness magazine with Sydney on the cover, her arm arched back, ready to take a swing. Her ribcage showed, her back in a perfect bow shape, and her feet some four feet off the sand. The red and white volleyball floating in the air slightly above her eye level was the defenseless target of her aim. He marveled at the power of her physique.

He saw several medals hung on red, white and blue ribbons, and a team photo with the ladies holding flowers on a beach somewhere in Hawaii. She had framed the cover of an Italian magazine featuring her in her signature skimpy bathing suit, riding a scooter, her long hair flowing out under her bright red helmet.

He noticed she’d traveled all over the world, as pictures at the Great Wall of China and the Kremlin in Moscow attested. It was obvious to him that she wasn’t just a beach volleyball player, but a world-class volleyball player.

It was a shame, really, that he would be leaving tomorrow for Sonoma County. He’d have to tell her soon. Over food. When they got around to eating, that is.

All the past mistakes the Team had made fixing him up with girls were forgiven. They’d found Sydney for him. Yes, they’d had a rocky start, and she definitely had some odd quirks, but then, so did he. Jumping out of helicopters at midnight with a hundred pounds on your back, into enemy territory where they burned people alive just for the fun of it, wasn’t exactly normal either.

No, he would forever be grateful he’d finally found a woman just like him.

  Chapter 6

  ‡

Sydney was annoyed when Alex told her he was hungry. Like food was as important as sex.

Guys think like that? Thought it was the other way around.

For her, it sure was. But she humored him when he allowed her to pick the menu.

“Oysters. You need some oysters, Alex.”

He looked surprised, and then he blushed. Water sluiced over his massive shoulders as he ducked under the spray and rinsed shampoo from his scalp. Man, what she could do with shoulders like that. She could spike a volleyball all the way to China if she had arms and shoulders like that.

She rubbed her thigh along the outside of his, pressing her mound into his right butt cheek. His shoulders shook slightly, and she could see he was laughing to himself.

  “No,” she said.

He turned around to face her, his brows coming together, a question on his lips as the glistening water dripped down his face. “Excuse me?”

“The answer is no. You were going to ask me if I ever stop needing sex.”

She stood perfectly still and didn’t smile, but looked deep into his eyes as if she could soak up all the deep blue she saw there. She knew she was a lethal form of something and that he had no idea what he was getting into. She hoped the excitement she saw in his return gaze held just a little fear.

A little fear is good. I’ll take some of your fear, Alex. I might even be able to take a lot of it.

His eyelashes briefly dropped as he perused her body, his back to the shower head. She knew he was studying her, making a plan. Making his mind up about something. Soon he sported a wicked smile.

“What am I going to do with you, Sydney?” he whispered, stepping to her and pressing his erection between her legs. She was going to wrap her fingers around him but he pushed them away.

His right hand slid along her slit as his shaft rooted to find her throbbing honeypot. All of a sudden, he turned her around, bent her over and spread her cheeks. His cock was inside her to the hilt with one forceful thrust. Sydney saw stars. She felt like she wanted to bite the tiles off the shower walls.

She had never been to the seafood grill down at the inlet. It was filled with junked boats of various sizes and in various states of repair. The small fishermen’s village was more populated with dogs than fish this time of day. The grill served breakfast all day and was a favorite Team hangout after Friday night dates, he told her.

“Especially those that didn’t go so well. It has some of the freshest fish in town, as well as a steady supply of oysters from all over the US.”

“Perfect choice. I like it,” she said.

She loved the feel of her swollen sex as Alex led her across the tiled floor. Small, rustic wooden tables were set out on the balcony. Inside, the oilcloth tables were nearly half filled. The smell was salty and aromatic in a wild sense. Sea birds hovered over piles of overturned crab pots and netting, looking for a morsel.

There were chalkboards over the bar, listing all the varieties of oysters, eggs, and beer and their prices.

Alex let out a faint groan as she leaned her back against him when they studied the menu. He drew his arms around her waist and held her tight.

“You can have all the oysters you need, my dear.” His whisper was raspy. He followed it up with a tiny bite to her earlobe. Sydney’s chest began to pound and her ears buzzed.

“What do you recommend?” she asked.

“I like Hog Island. Drake’s Bay are good. The barbequed ones are stellar, and so are the garlic pesto.”

She hadn’t known there were so many varieties. She turned to the side in his arms, careful to let her left breast press against his. “Aren’t the raw ones best for you?”

He was smiling, getting ready to say something when a heavyset cook in a white apron slapped him on the back.

“How the hell are you, Alex? Haven’t seen you since the—”

The cook had clearly started saying something that shouldn’t be repeated in mixed company and abruptly stopped.

“Since my freedom party? That’s okay, Griff.” He stepped back and gave Sydney a tiny push at the sides of her hips, placing her between him and the cook. “Griff, this is Sydney. Sydney, meet Griff.”

She extended her hand and felt the swollen callused paw of a man who worked hard. “Nice to meet you, Griff.” Her squeeze was returned in kind.

Griff gave Alex a wink. “You guys know what you want?”

Sydney was suddenly starved. “Yes. I want blueberry pancakes, double the butter and syrup, a dozen of the barbeque oysters, and a dozen Hog Island raw with salsa.” She turned to see Alex’s surprised smile. She decided to push the envelope a bit more. “What are you having?” she asked him.

He stepped back. “Whoa. You really going to eat all that?”

“Yes. Why, you don’t think I can?”

“I know better than to challenge you on that.” He nodded toward Griff. “While she’s protecting her pancakes from my fork, I’ll have a seafood scramble.” He checked her face and added, “I’ll take a dozen of your garlic pesto.”

He led them outside to the balcony overlooking the inlet. The crisp breeze tickled her cheeks. It was the right kind of invigorating. A light gray fog hovered over the cove.

Griff served them each fresh squeezed orange juice. “On the house,” he said as he turned to the kitchen. Stopping, he asked, “Coffee?”

“Sure,” Alex answered. “That okay?” he asked her. “I mean, it’s a little caffeine. No chocolate in our menu this morning.”

“Not for me, thanks,” she said to Griff, who we
nt in search of Alex’s coffee.

She loved that he’d remembered and was trying to calibrate something. “Meaning, is it safe?”

He grabbed her hand and kissed her palm. “Just checking your temperature, sweetheart.”

“Since you asked, I do have to watch caffeine and chocolate, especially together. I work out hard too. Occasionally, I can ease up on one of the three. As far as zombie movies? I have no clue. And I don’t even want to find out, either.”

He laughed. “So we just happened to hit the perfect trifecta last night.”

“Yes, in more ways than one, sailor.”

Alex began to blush, which was a huge surprise. He continued to hold her hand as he lay it back down on the table. She wondered if there was something on his mind he was struggling with. His face dropped the smile as he looked up. “I’m going on a little trip up to Sonoma County tomorrow and I’ll be gone a couple of weeks, I think.”

She sighed. Of all the bad luck. Maybe this would be good. She could focus on traveling to some venues to check out other players in her partner search. She didn’t have a tournament for a month. Perhaps this time she’d really train the way she knew she was supposed to. Unless he was asking her to go with him.

“I’m going with several of the other guys, and we’re staying with friends, or I’d ask you to go along.”

She liked that he’d asked, at least. “Thank you. I have to get prepared for a tournament next month, and I’m still scouting the talent down here.”

  He nodded.

“Do they even have beaches in Sonoma County?”

“Not like these.” He put his elbows on the table and leaned in, taking her hand in his again and kissing it. “But they do have oysters.” He followed up his kiss with a wink.

“That’s useful information. I’ll have to file that away for future reference.”

The food arrived. Sydney lathered her pancakes with butter and syrup, but before she could take a bite Alex scored a large slice and had it in his mouth.
