Forbidden Love Series Book 6: Into The Divine Page 12

And then he latched on to her very sensitive bundle of nerves and began sucking. Azerial cried out from the sensation and her hands went to his head. She didn’t know if she was trying to push him back or hold him closer to her. She thought it was a little of both, but coherent thought was escaping her at that time. He let go and shoved his tongue as far inside her as it would go. Then he began a rhythm that had her sweating and begging him for more. He went back to her clit and ran two fingers of his free hand around her entrance. “I know what you need,” he said against her.

“Please,” she moaned. Sam gently pushed his fingers into her and she felt her body constrict around him, holding him tight. “Yes.” This was what she needed. She needed him to be inside of her. Her body coiled tight and she got a little scared. Her feet instinctively began to seek purchase on the ground.

“Let it go, Baby,” he said.

His words were so reassuring and so erotic that her body obeyed. Azerial felt the tension in her get tighter, like a rubber band being wound too tight, and then snap. Pleasure unlike anything she had ever felt before washed over her in waves that just kept going. Sam stayed with her through it, murmuring words of encouragement and licking at her the whole time.

When the convulsing finally subsided, Sam crawled up her body. He wiped his mouth clean with his hand and bent over her to kiss her. Azerial tasted herself on his lips and that made the fire inside her begin to burn all over again.

“I have to be inside you,” he said. “Have to prove you are mine.”

“Yes,” Azerial agreed. There was nothing she wanted more than to know she was his.

She felt his cock prodding her entrance. She felt no fear, only love. He pushed a little and he entered her slowly. He kept pushing until he was all the way inside of her and their pubic bones were touching. “Jesus,” Samuel cursed. “So fucking tight around me.”

Azerial understood what he meant. She felt full to the brink of pain, but not nearly enough at the same time. He was holding perfectly still above her. Azerial knew this was what she had been missing. The empty feeling inside her had been filled and he had been the one to fill it. She wrapped her arms around his strong back and ran her hands over the skin. She let her nails drag over the muscles of his back and she felt him jerk inside her.

“Baby, if you keep that up, I am not gonna last long at all,” he bit out.

Azerial liked the feeling of him inside her. She liked the way her touch affected him. She liked it so much, that she did it again.

Samuel was hanging on by a thread. Azerial kept scoring his back with her nails and his body was loving it. He wanted her to stop so that he could make love to her right, and he wanted her to do it harder. She did the latter. His body lunged inside her of its own accord. “Yes, Sam,” she cried out. She said his name. She knew him. That was all it took to send Samuel into complete bliss. He wrapped his arms around her and pushed into her a grand total of three times before he was roaring in orgasm. His body stiffened and shook uncontrollably while he filled her with his seed.

He stopped to catch his breath, and to apologize, but then she told him, “Don’t stop yet,” and his body was in agreement. He pushed himself forward inside of her and was happy to find that his new vampire body could just keep on going. Or maybe it was her. Hell, he didn’t care. He was with his mate and that was all that mattered.

As her moans got louder and more demanding, his thrusts became stronger. She pulled her knees up and wrapped them around his waist. She was holding him with her whole body, inside and out. Samuel crashed into her over and over until he felt her core tighten around him. “Yes,” he groaned as she demanded that he push harder.

When she went over the edge, her body shook all around him. He felt his own orgasm build up and rush over him. He kept thrusting inside of her, having one orgasm after another in rapid succession. He roared into the sunlight that surrounded him and that’s when he remembered that this was only a dream.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Samuel woke himself with a jerk. He was covered from head to toe in a sheen of sweat and his heart was pounding out of his chest. Fuck, that had been some dream! It had felt so real. He raised his hand to scratch his chest and dropped it right into a puddle on his belly. Oh, that was beautiful. His abdomen was covered in come. Fuck. He hadn’t had a real wet dream since he was a kid in high school.

He pushed himself off his bed and went to wash himself. It was early morning and the sun wasn’t up yet, but he knew from the sounds in the house that everyone was up and shuffling around. He hadn’t meant to fall asleep. He meant to contact Azerial. He guessed he wanted to talk to her so badly that he created her in his dream. And even there, his body couldn’t behave itself. He had mauled her the first chance he got. Of course, in the dream, there had been nothing stopping her from being with him. He could even still smell her all around him. He cursed as he stepped under the hot spray of the shower. He was giving himself one hell of a mind fuck, both literally and figuratively.

Samuel stood back in the shadows as his family readied themselves for travel. Michael had touched down on the beach exactly when he was supposed to. There was only about half an hour left until the sun would breach the horizon. He watched as Rebel kissed his wife on the lips and then stepped back. Leigh pulled air deep into her lungs and forced her magic to do her bidding. The mists began to swirl around her and then the flames started. They twisted and turned like a vortex until they burned themselves out. What was left was Leigh in her dragon form. She was twenty feet of shiny black scales and razor sharp teeth.

He watched as his family kissed each other and vowed to be together again. Samuel didn’t interrupt, he had no one to say goodbye to. All he could do was watch and listen like a voyeur.

“I will see you soon,” Angel said to Brea as he held her hands in his own.

“Yes you will,” Brea informed him on no uncertain terms. “I love you.”

“Ma Cherie,” Angel whispered as he pulled her tight into his arms. “J’adore toi et Je t’aime, toujours.”

Leigh huffed and jerked her head to the side. She was telling Brea that it was time to go. Macy had already scaled up her massive hind leg and was sitting at the base of Leigh’s huge and powerful neck. “Shotgun,” she declared.

Brea glared at her but let Angel go. “See you,” she said softly before turning to climb up onto Leigh’s back. She had one leg on either side of the dragon’s ribs just above where her wings attached to her body. “How are we supposed to hold on?” she asked.

Leigh rolled her huge yellow eyes.

Phoenix had both Keelie and Ricco in his arms and Michael had Jessica in his. Phoenix took off first, spreading his wings and lifting his cargo into the air as if the pair weighed nothing at all. Michael gave a reassuring nod to Sebastian and tightened his grip around Jessica’s middle. “Hang on,” he told her as he shot up into the sky where Phoenix was waiting. Leigh turned her head to her family on the beach. She nodded her dragon head and huffed out a puff of sulfur rich smoke. Rebel smiled at her and Angel and Antonio raised a hand in a slight wave. She agreed, silently, to care for their mates. Then she spread her massive wings and pushed up from the ground with her powerful thighs.

Brea grabbed hold of Macy around the waist and Macy was holding Leigh’s neck. Samuel stood beside his remaining family as the sound of Macy’s laughter filled the sky. They all watched in silence as their mates flew into the rising sun. Sam could feel the tension in his brothers, and he could feel their pain wash over him in powerful waves. He could feel their fear, but most of all, he could feel their love and relief that their mates would be safe.

Before anyone else, Samuel turned and went inside. He wiped the single tear that had dared escape his body before anyone could see it. That was what he felt for Azerial. He had to get her back.

“So now what?” Samuel asked impatiently as his family trickled into the house. Rebel was the last one in, since the sun didn’t affect him like it did everyone
else.

“Now we wait for Phoenix and Leigh to return,” Angel said.

“Fuck that,” Samuel snarled. “I gotta get to her and I gotta do it now.”

“No, you don’t,” Angel assured him. “We can’t summon her without everyone present. It is daylight and you have nothing to go on except a hunch and an ill-seated sense of mating jealousy. Azerial is safe. Even if she is with Abaddon, he won’t hurt her.”

“Could you stand by if it were Brea?” Sam snapped at his leader.

“I would do whatever I had to do to get her back safely and without causing harm to anyone else.”

“So yeah, you would. But I suppose that since I am not officially mated to her, that makes it less important,” Samuel snarled. “But hey, don’t sweat it man. I understand. I wouldn’t be busting my ass if it were someone that wasn’t special to me either. You got a family to think about and you don’t need my shit getting in the way of that. It’s cool. I can just go get her on my own.”

“Samuel,” Frankie chastised him, “Get a hold on yourself.”

“I have a hold on myself,” Samuel shouted. “I know what I gotta do and I am gonna go do it whether I have help or not.”

Gage got right up in his face. “You aren’t going anywhere,” he growled dangerously. “You are part of this family now. You will act like it.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Your Majesty,” Samuel said with heavy sarcasm. “You might be the fucking king, but you ain’t my king. Fuck that.”

“I am more than your king, damn it!” Gage roared, moving in the blink of an eye to block Samuel’s path. “I am your fucking sire. I am your brother. And all of those things demand a little fucking respect.”

“I thought you were the reluctant King? At least that’s the word on the street. Nobody fucking respects you. Not even you.”

Gage bared his fangs and clenched his fists at his side. Samuel continued. “You won’t even do so much as listen to your people when they are crying out to you for help. They don’t talk to Angel. They don’t want to talk to him anymore! They have a King that claims to be fair and just, but you are just a big fucking baby who lets Angel do all your dirty work for you.”

“I think it’s time you calmed down,” Angel said softly. “This is getting out of hand.”

“Fuck you. You’re nothing more than his lapdog ever since he dropped the king bomb.” Samuel never saw the fist coming that smashed into his temple. His head flew back on his neck and he felt the tendons stretch to their limits. Pain sliced up the side of his neck and then exploded in his head. He stumbled backward a few feet before getting control over his body again. When he opened his eyes, Gage was staring him down like a guard dog ready to pounce on an intruder.

“Don’t you ever,” he snarled, “Ever, talk to Angel that way again.”

Samuel rubbed his throbbing temple and bit his cheek to keep his mouth shut.

“You know what’s up with my fucking title,” Gage continued. “I did what I had to do to get my mate. Just like you are about to. I knew I wasn’t cut out to lead. That’s why Angel still does it. I had to change everything the world thought of me just so that I could have Serena by my side. I don’t regret it and I wouldn’t change it. Rebel had to take on Leigh’s magic. Antonio had to fucking die!” He shook his head. “I fucking know that you’re hurting man. I know it. Fuck we all know it. Never mind that we can feel it roll off your fucking shoulders every time you walk by, but your attitude is nothing less than unacceptable. Fuck, I knew you were an ass when we met. If I had known the kind of shitstorm that would come out of your mouth, maybe I wouldn’t have helped you change.”

Samuel couldn’t keep quiet anymore. He knew in the logical part of his brain that Gage was right and he was being a dick. That didn’t mean that he listened to his logical side, though, did it. Instead, he opened his mouth and let the shitstorm fly some more. “If you didn’t want me on board, why did you bother? Hell, if I had known what a fucking pansy you were back then I would have said no to taking your blood. I hate that you sired me. I know I have all of the guys’ blood coursing through my veins, but yours is the worst. I can feel it. I can feel you. I know where you are all the fucking time! And why the fuck won’t people stay out of my head? Every time I turn around, someone is poking around in there. I can’t have a single thought to myself.”

“You think we like hearing your bullshit all day every day?” Gage shouted.

“I don’t really fucking give a damn!” Sam shouted back.

“That,” Gage said definitively, “Is for damned sure.”

Samuel lunged at Gage and tackled him to the floor. Everyone else had moved out of the way. They had known it was coming. Maybe not with Gage, but with someone. They had known that Samuel was itching to fight someone, anyone, and he was going to pick a fight sooner or later. Gage just so happened to be the one that obliged.

The men rolled around on the floor, knocking over furniture and breaking things as they went. The room was filled with grunts and crashes, but no one interfered. Rebel had started to get in to stop them, but Angel insisted that he let them have it out. “Better to get the rage out of his system now than to let him hold on to it until he can’t control it,” Angel said.

“He ain’t really controlling it now,” Rebel pointed out.

“No, but he is dealing with it the only way he knows how.”

Leigh landed lightly on the grass in front of the mansion where the Boston Clan Leader lived. Michael and Phoenix dropped down right on her heels and she had to take several steps forward to keep from sitting on them. She huffed out a breath and jerked her head to the side. Brea and Macy understood her and carefully climbed down off her back and stepped into the grass. Once everyone was far enough away, she pulled on her magic and shifted back down into her human form once again. Victor, the Clan Leader, opened the front door wide and greeted them with a huge smile. His son stood behind him, as did his daughter in law. Leigh didn’t wait for the others, but powerwalked her way to the door. “Where’s the kids?” she asked with a smile.

Victor stepped to the side so that Leigh could come in. “They are in Kelly’s room,” he told her.

Leigh didn’t need directions. Once she was inside, she could hear the unmistakable crunch and wail of an electric guitar. She knew that Kelly played, so she just put two and two together and followed the music.

The door was slightly ajar and she pushed it open. And then she stood there with her mouth hanging open. The person playing was not Kelly. Kelly was sitting in the corner of the room in a chair. Jade was the one playing. She was standing in the middle of the bed with a black guitar strapped across her shoulder. She was strumming the strings and her hand was flowing over the neck with near perfect pitch. But even that was not what stunned Leigh the most.

Toni was in her dragon form, flitting around the room without a care in the world. Every now and then, she would squawk along with the music. It was total chaos, and Kelly seemed to be right at home in the middle of it.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

Azerial awoke with a start. Her body was covered in sweat and she was breathing hard. Her entire body felt empty and cold, despite the perspiration dripping from her hair. She felt as though she had lost something. Something really important. Blurry images of her dream flashed through her mind. She couldn’t make sense of what she was remembering. All she could make out was that she had dreamed about a man. From the amount of wetness between her thighs, it had been quite the interesting dream. She wished she could remember it in more detail. She couldn’t even remember the man’s face. She did know, however, that the man in her dream was not John. The only feelings her alleged husband inspired from her was doubt.

She sat up and brushed her long hair over her shoulder. No, John was definitely not the man in her dream. She didn’t understand why, but he made her very nervous. She had a very hard time believing anything he said. She did know that he made drugs for humans. And the part he told her about her being a goddess
rang true to her, although she had a hard time envisioning herself as a goddess.

A goddess wouldn’t have sex dreams about a stranger, would she?

As she left her room in search of coffee, she bumped into John in the hallway. “Good morning,” he said. Then he sniffed the air. “Good dreams last night?” he asked with a wide grin. Azerial felt herself blush. Her dream was not something she wanted to discuss with anyone, and certainly not John.

“I need coffee,” she said, changing the subject.

“Did you dream about me?” he asked. When she didn’t answer right away and averted her eyes from him, he growled. “Who was it?” he demanded. “You cannot lie, so don’t bother trying.”

Azerial wanted to lie. She did. But he was right. The words would not come out of her mouth. But instead of telling him that it wasn’t him, she said as honestly as she could, “I don’t remember. I don’t even remember the dream, really.”

John backed her up against the wall and pinned her there by placing his arms on either side of her. Although he didn’t touch her, Azerial suddenly felt claustrophobic. “Let me go John,” she said softly.

“Not until you understand,” he demanded. “You are mine.” Azerial watched as his eyes turned solid black. Fear made her adrenaline spike and she fought to keep it under control. “You belong to me now. No one else. Mine.” He continued to remind her.

“I understand,” she finally bit out. And she did. John was not what he pretended to be.

“Good,” he said relaxing, and his eyes changed back. He leaned forward into her and she just knew he was going to try to kiss her. Just before his lips could brush against hers, Azerial turned her head, yet again. “You will learn to love me,” he whispered. Then he moved his arms away and let her go. Azerial ran back to her room and closed the door behind her. She locked it for good measure, even though she was sure that if he wanted in, he would get in.
