“I love you,” I say softly and watch his eyes glint in the low light.
“I love you too… you want to top or bottom?” he asks and we both smile.
“Mmmm,” I hum, leaning in for another kiss. “Maybe bottom, I’m feeling rather domestic today,” I tease.
His hands grasp my bare ass since I came to bed nude, and thrust my hips against him, our hard dicks pressing along one another’s. Then, the dreaded sound of baby crying echoes down the hall. Rupert groans and drops his head to my shoulder, knowing it’s his turn for baby duty.
“I’ll be here when you get back,” I tell him, rolling onto my side of the bed.
“Don’t fall asleep,” he tells me, putting on a t-shirt as he begins for the door.
“Even if I do, I’ll be dreaming of you,” I tell him.
“You better,” he says as he leaves the room and heads for the nursery.
“Always,” I say to myself.

Definition of surreal?
Going from Plantain series addict to collaborating author on the concluding novella of this epic romance series.
What did I do when the topic of this collaboration came up?
I freaked... the fuck... out. Like, zero chill-fan girl down.
And then it dawned on me - an author I admired as a storyteller and respected as a human, was inviting me to write with them.
You do not pass that shit up. Ever.
I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor, coach, or friend for my first time publishing - and it sure AF has been waaay more pleasurable than my actual “first time”. Also unlike then, we’re just getting started.
