“Don’t move. Stay right where you are.”
Dare held as still as possible, although it was the complete opposite of what he wanted to do. Not moving wasn’t an easy task when the pleasure was slamming through him, making his eyes cross.
Still, he managed.
Barely.
This position—lying on his side, facing the television with the man of his dreams flat against his back, body curled around him, penetrating him right where he needed him—fuck if it didn’t feel good.
So-o-o good.
“Noah…” Dare endured for only a few torturous seconds, willing his boyfriend to move his hips a fraction of an inch, just enough to brush that spot that made Dare see stars.
“Hmm?” Noah’s breath was warm against the back of Dare’s neck.
Dare inhaled deeply, Noah’s strong arm banding around him, holding him against his tense body. Dare’s skin felt two sizes too small as the heat of Noah’s chest pierced him. It was the second time today that he’d found himself at Noah’s mercy, but fuck if it didn’t feel like the first time … ever.
Every time felt like the first time when it came to Noah.
They’d been lying on the couch, watching a movie for the past hour, spending a lazy Sunday evening at Noah’s apartment. As was the case anytime they found time to be alone, Dare’s body had been humming with anticipation, his mind half-ass in tune with the television. Right up until Noah had started stroking Dare’s dick, then his gray matter had gone offline completely. The only thing his nineteen-year-old brain cared about was being fucked into oblivion.
Even though that impromptu hand job had lasted far less time than Dare would’ve liked, he hadn’t minded at all when Noah had reached over him to retrieve the lubricant on the end table, shoved Dare’s shorts down, and then guided his lubed cock right into Dare’s eager ass.
He only wished Noah would get on with it, because if he didn’t, Dare was going to go insane.
“Not ready to come yet.” Dare loved the gravelly sound of Noah’s voice; it reflected his apparent effort to hold back. “Feels too damn good.”
“It’ll feel better … if”—Dare thrust his hips back with every word—“you … fuck … me.”
“Aw, fuck yes, baby.” Noah groaned. So sexy. “Beg me, Dare.” Noah’s command was followed by a gentle bite on the sensitive skin of Dare’s shoulder. “You know how much I love it when you beg.”
He’d beg, all right.
“Please…” Dare moaned, then laughed. “Just fuck me already.”
Noah thrust his hips forward. “Ahh, fuck. Too good.”
Dare’s ass clenched around the thick intrusion, his own cock rock hard and in need of some attention. “Assume you mean me and not the movie?”
“Fuck the movie.” Noah’s hand tightened on Dare’s hip, a rumbling growl following his words.
“Thought it was me you were fucking,” Dare teased, pushing back against Noah so that Noah’s cock slid deeper inside him. “Fuck yes,” he hissed when Noah’s dick pressed against that mind-numbing spot.
“That what you want?” Noah’s words were
strained.
“Yeah…” Fuck yeah. It was what he always wanted. Anything Noah wanted to give him, Dare was more than willing to take.
Noah shifted so that he was kneeling behind Dare, his hands roughly jerking Dare toward him so that he didn’t dislodge his cock from Dare’s ass. Dare didn’t put up a fight, bending until he was right where Noah wanted him, on his knees, one shoulder pressed into the cushion, using one hand to balance.
Noah slowly pulled back, holding Dare’s ass cheeks firmly, then guiding himself home, filling Dare once again. He could feel the heat of Noah’s gaze as he watched while he penetrated him. The idea of Noah so caught up in watching sent another tremor racing through him.
Dare’s hand closed around the edge of the cushion, the sweet penetration sending shards of sensation all over him. He loved these moments, loved feeling Noah inside him. But it wasn’t enough.
“Quit fucking with me.” He needed more friction.
“You’re in too much of a hurry.”
“Only ’cause I wanna fuck you before I come.”
“Mmm.”
Dare knew Noah would like that.
“So get on with it.” Dare thrust back against Noah, trying to take him deeper.
“Hold still.” Noah smacked Dare’s ass. Hard.
“Oh, yeah.” Heat bloomed on his skin, and he briefly wondered if he would like being spanked. Never hurt to try. He teased Noah by glancing over his shoulder and winking. “Spank me again.”
Noah chuckled, as Dare wanted him to.
“I’m gonna fuck you. That’s what I’m gonna do.”
And that was exactly what Noah did, slamming deep, making lights dance behind Dare’s closed eyelids while electricity fizzed beneath his skin.
Tightening his grip on the couch cushion and putting one hand on the arm to hold himself in place, Dare gladly accepted Noah’s punishing thrusts, relishing every second of it. Noah impaled him over and over, faster, harder, deeper, until Dare feared he would come.
Biting his bottom lip, he held off until Noah roared his release, the heavy weight of him falling against Dare’s back, crushing him into the cushions. Dare didn’t give Noah much time to recover before he wrestled him onto his back, then grabbed the lube bottle that sat open on the coffee table. Within seconds, he was slicked up and ready, slowly driving himself into Noah as he stared down at the man he loved.
“Hot.” Scorching. God, it felt so good being inside him. Dare hissed, inching deeper inside Noah’s ass. “So fucking hot.”
Noah pulled his knees in close to his chest, allowing Dare to lean over him, their eyes locked.
“Have I mentioned how much I love you?” Dare pumped his hips slowly as he fucked them both to ecstasy.
“You have…” Noah nodded, the unmistakable connection between them solidifying. “Fuck, that feels good… But you can tell me again.”
Dare held Noah’s dark gaze, slowing his pace. Suddenly, the moment shifted from fast and frantic to something much deeper, much more intense.
Yeah, he loved Noah with every ounce of himself. They’d been together for a little over two years, practically lived together since he stayed with Noah most of the time. And with every passing second, Dare fell deeper and deeper for the man. Hell, he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him, never imagined being with anyone else.
“Wanna feel you come inside me.”
Dare barely heard Noah’s whisper, the thumping of his own heart loud in his ears. He managed a nod, forcing his hips forward, then back. Holding himself up with one hand, he used the other to push a lock of Noah’s thick, dark hair from his face, never breaking eye contact as he repeated the thrust and retreat.
“I love you, Noah.” Dare felt his heart constrict at the same time that electrical spark ignited inside him. “Gonna come… Fuck.” Dare pumped his hips as he was assaulted with pleasure so intense he thought he might pass out. “Love you so much.”
“I love you, too.” Noah’s hand gripped the back of Dare’s neck as he stared up at him. “Now come for me, babe.”
And that was exactly what Dare did.
Half an hour later, after they’d cleaned up and restarted the movie back to the part they’d lost interest at, Dare found himself lying on the couch once again. This time he was behind Noah with his arm tossed over him, curled up against Noah’s bare back, fingers gliding slowly up and down Noah’s stomach. Dare was drifting, trying to stay awake, but it wasn’t easy.
The only thing keeping him conscious was the pressure on his brain. All of the thoughts weighing down on him. Things he’d tried to talk to Noah about for some time now. Things he knew Noah didn’t want to talk about. But Dare couldn’t hold back anymore. He needed answers, needed to know where this was going.
“Why don’t I move in here?” Dare muttered, attempting to keep his voice soft, words gentle.
Despite the delivery, Noah tensed and a sharp pain pierced Dare’s heart. Unfortunately, in the position they were in, there was no way Noah could’ve hidden his reaction, which meant the conversation was going to take place, even if Dare no longer wanted to discuss it. That simple flex of Noah’s muscles was all the answer he needed.
Noah didn’t want him. Not permanently.
“Never mind.” Dare sucked in air as more pain lanced him. Nope, he changed his mind. He didn’t want to talk about it. “I’m still high from the sex.”
“Probably.” The rumbling vibration of Noah’s laugh made Dare’s insides go cold. “Makes you think crazy shit, huh?”
Crazy shit?
Ouch.
Dare didn’t respond. He couldn’t. His throat was tight, and it felt as though there were a lead weight on his chest, suffocating him.
Knowing Noah, he expected Dare to simply drop the subject as he usually did. They’d been together for twenty-five months (yes, he kept track), and things had been going great between them. As far as Dare was concerned, it wasn’t too farfetched to think they should officially move in together, start planning for their future.
There was only one major problem with that.
It didn’t seem they were on the same page.
Fuck. They had to talk about this. It was inevitable. No way would Dare be able to sleep unless they hashed it out. Deciding there would be no better time than now, Dare shifted deeper into the cushions behind him, then forced Noah onto his back so Dare could see his face.
“Where do you see this going?” The words were blunt, sure, but that was because Dare’s stomach churned with nerves and he suddenly felt sick.
“See what going?” Noah was playing dumb, evidently.
Swallowing hard, Dare forced the words past his parched throat. “Us. I know it’s not just the sex that’s so great between us.”
“But the sex is pretty fucking good, huh?”
It was obvious Noah wanted to change the subject, but Dare wasn’t going to allow it. Not this time. “Do you love me?”
Noah met Dare’s gaze, a deep line forming in his forehead. “Of course I do. I’ve told you that.”
“Then what’s the problem?” Dare didn’t understand. If they loved each other, why the hell shouldn’t they make this official?
Noah repositioned so that he was looking at Dare more fully. Dare didn’t move, waiting for an answer that would cause this to all make sense.
“You’re only nineteen, Dare.”
“Ah, good.” Dare attempted to rein in his anger. He took a deep breath and … failed. “Glad we’re both aware of that. I thought for a second you forgot.”
Seriously, Dare thought they were long past the age thing. In the beginning, when they’d met and Dare had been only seventeen, he’d understood Noah’s reasons for wanting to wait before they had sex. Somehow, they’d endured three and a half months before they had sex for the first time, on Dare’s eighteenth birthday. They’d taken things slow, done things right. And now… He was getting tired of his age always being Noah’s issue.
“Dare…”
“No.” Dare jerked back, the pain ricocheting through his insides. “I don’t need you to remind me that I’m nineteen and that you’re twenty-three. When you had your dick in my ass, or mine in yours, our ages didn’t seem to be an issue.”
“They’re not an issue.” Noah’s retort sounded almost believable. “The age difference isn’t the problem.”
“Then what is?”
Noah jerked away, sitting up and thrusting his hands through his disheveled hair.
Dare moved away from him, getting to his feet and pacing the floor. It pissed him off that this was how the conversation always went, and in the end nothing would change, but Dare wasn’t backing down now. “Are you seeing someone else?”
Noah’s head snapped up, his mouth gaping open. “No, I’m not fucking seeing anyone else. Goddammit, Dare, why the fuck would you ask me something like that?”
“It’s the only logical answer I can come up with. You don’t want me to move in here, yet you can’t give me a reason. Maybe there is someone else.”
Noah got to his feet and moved toward him, the hard lines on his face softening. “No. There’s no one else. I love you. Only you. I thought I’d made that pretty damn clear.”
Dare’s stomach tightened painfully. This was not going the way he’d hoped it would.
“Look…” Noah cupped Dare’s cheek and forced him to look at him. “Things are good between us. I don’t see any reason we should rush it.”
“Rush it?” Dare frowned. “We’ve been together for two fucking years.”
“I know. And you’re only nineteen.”
“Why do you always say that?” Dare’s anger was making his face heat. “It’s always about my age, but I don’t fucking understand. If I were twenty, would that change things? ’Cause in a few months, that’ll be the case. What excuse will you use then?”
Noah’s gaze hardened. “You’re too damn young to think about settling down with anyone.”
“No! You don’t get to do that. You don’t get to blame this on me. No one gets to tell me what I am and am not ready for. I get to do that. And honestly, I want more than this.” As the words came out, his throat tightened around the ball of emotion lodged there. “I’m talking forever.”
Noah stared at him, jaw tight. “Babe, you’re just a kid. Forever’s a long damn time.”
Dare took a step back, the force of those words like a punch to the gut.
