Mouse: A Steel Paragons MC Novel (The Coast: Book 7) Page 26

by Hart, Eve R.

Two was all we had. Two was enough, that was for sure.

“Looks like we’re not the only one that has a daughter that’s got a thing for the cut,” Ingram said with a sly smile.

My head whipped in the direction she was looking. B-ry’s oldest, Catherine, had stars or hearts or whatever in her eyes as she watched every move that my son made.

“Fuck,” I said and now I had to worry about another one of my brother’s beating my ass. I made a mental note to tell Chry not to even think about it. I had no clue if he was even aware that Catherine went all dreamy when it came to him, but I was going to shut that shit down either way.

“Oh, this is going to be fun,” Bridget said coming up on the other side of Ingram and taking in the scene we were watching. “Things are never dull around here, that’s for sure.”

Ingram and Bridget laughed and I ground my teeth. This shit wasn’t funny but she was right.

“I wouldn’t trade it for the world, though,” Ingram said and her eyes were smiling up into mine.

  “I wouldn’t either,” I admitted with a huff.

Then I kissed the hell out of my woman, not giving a shit who was around to see. Or that our daughter was yelling for us to get a room from across the lot.

  The End

  Acknowledgements

I couldn’t make this world come to life without you. I mean I guess I could, but then it would just be me reading my books by myself over and over. So I don’t feel like I can finish a story without thanking everyone that picks up one of my books and lets the words wrap around them. Huge thank you for all the support and love. It makes me feel less crazy too because keeping all these guys in my head would surely have me going insane.

I have the most amazing support from you, Jon. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this life. Thanks for loving me.

Jordan, I know you didn’t have crazy ideas to contribute for Mouse but thanks for being excited for him all the same. Besides, Mouse needed to be somewhat normal for Ingram, so I think it worked out. And there is always the next one.

I wouldn’t be as polished and focused if it wasn’t for you, Chloe. Like for real. Thanks for being real and honest and telling me when something is just not right. And also for making me laugh and listening to me when I get a little off. You get me!

I have the best friend anyone could ask for. Janie, girl, life gets crazy and sometimes we don’t get to talk for a while, but I know that you will always have my back the same as I do for you. You are the reason I started this journey and I’m so happy you gave me that push.

Beth, you are crazy! I’m not saying that’s a bad thing because I am too! You make me laugh and keep me going when I’m unsure about something. Thanks for listening to me and keeping me entertained when I’m having a bad day.

I have the most amazing and supportive in-laws in the world. Have I said that before? Pretty sure I have but I can’t say it enough. Karen and Rick, you are the best. Thanks for giving me a couple of days a week to really dive into my writing kid-free. And for always being there even for the little things.
