“Is he still upset with you for marrying me?”
Jonas shrugged. “I don’t know what all of the fuss is about. He’s been engaged to Frankie for three years now.”
“Why aren’t they married yet?” Brenton asked.
Jonas shrugged again. “I think he’s waiting until Frankie is older. I bet he’s planning to throw this big elaborate wedding for Frankie’s twenty-first birthday next year.”
“Are you disappointed that we didn’t have a big wedding?”
Jonas shook his head. “My life is on display every time I’m on stage. Our wedding was just perfect.”
“Then our honeymoon will be perfect, too,” Brenton said. “I can’t wait to take you to my hometown.”
“Are you going to tell your family about us?” Jonas asked.
Brenton shook his head. “They know that I’m dating someone, and they’re glad it isn’t Carson.”
Jonas tried to stifle a smile. “He’s going to flip when he finds out.”
“Too bad,” Brenton said. “You’re all the diva I need.”
Jonas smiled. “Same here, buddy.”
Brenton had decided to keep his apartment and not move in with him until they told Tory. They would just have to travel back and forth between homes until then. Jonas could live with that. He liked the thought of having a quaint little apartment to escape to for rendezvous with his new husband.
“I’ve been working on a new song,” Brenton announced.
“Me, too,” Jonas said. “Maybe we can get together tomorrow so we can bounce them off of each other.”
“Then afterward, I take you out to dinner, and we’ll tour by night.”
“I’d like that,” Jonas said. “Then we can snuggle in bed when we return to our suite.”
“Oui, oui,” Brenton said in French. He sighed. “I can’t wait to get to Asia.”
“Have you been there before?” Jonas asked.
“Yes. Be prepared to see a lot of people. The sight is bloody unbelievable.”
Jason chuckled. “Your accent is barely noticeable, but every now and then you sound quite British.”
Someone announced their flight.
“This is it,” Brenton said. “Things are going to get very frantic from this point on.”
“I’m ready for it,” Jonas said. “With you by my side, everything is going to be a blast.”
“I love you, Jonas Kerry Tremayne, and I plan to spend the rest of my life spoiling you rotten,” Brenton said.
He and Brenton walked toward the others.
“I can handle that,” Jonas said. “I promise to make your nights memorable and your days blessed.”
Brenton winked at him. “I’m looking forward to having babies with you.”
Jonas blushed. He was going to strangle Frankie for telling Brenton that. “Me, too.”
He never felt so happy, and he planned to spend the rest of his days proving it to Brenton.
