Bedlam: Fourth Book of the Nameless Chronicle Page 22

by M. T. Miller

“Rush?” A deep voice came from the bedroom. It wasn’t particularly pleasant on the ears, but to her it was music. “You were supposed to be fast. How much longer will I have to wait?”

“No more, Bones,” she said as she went for the bedroom.

  “Not one more second.”

  THE END

Everyone is, at heart, a creator.

But when all is said and done, no work truly belongs to the maker.

The element of chance always plays a hand.

Both are necessary for a tale to be told.

What happens after that belongs to the listener.
