I push two fingers up inside of her and relish in how tight she is. God, I’m going to enjoy fucking her.

I wonder if Bennett has already been inside her?

I immediately try to push the thought from my mind, but it stays lodged firmly in there, playing out a pornographic film behind my eyes. Bennett sinking his cock into Lila’s tight pussy. Bennett pounding against her hole, his balls slapping against her ass. Bennett coming inside her, filling her with his hot semen.

Fuck. I growl as I stand, shucking off my shirt. I force Lila’s legs apart and climb between them. I’ve got my shaft in my hand — it’s hard as steel now, but I jerk it a few times anyway, just so she can see how big it is.

“I’m going to fuck you now,” I tell her, through gritted teeth. “I’m going to fuck you so hard you fucking scream. You can scream as loud as you want out here, Lila — no one can hear you.”

Lila just nods obediently. I can tell by the way she looks hungrily at my cock that she wants this as much as I do.

I try to exorcise Bennett’s face from my mind as I lean into her. I groan as the tip of my cock makes first contact with her sweet heat. Lila’s fucking incredible, and the thought that Bennett McCardiff might ruin this for me is beyond infuriating.

I rub my cock around on Lila’s pussy, covering myself in her juices. She smiles up at me, her face still cloudy with lust.

“Fuck me, sailor,” she says with a sultry smile.

That’s all the encouragement I need. I find her entrance and push in slowly, savoring every last inch of her tightness.

Lila gasps from my girth and grabs onto my hips. I push into her completely, filling her up, and then slowly draw back out.

“Oh, God, Sam,” she moans, and the sound is music to my ears. I start to thrust in and out of her, slowly at first and then picking up the pace. Her face is contorted in something between pleasure and pain, and I pummel her over and over. Her tits bounce up and down and her breathing goes ragged and she’s moaning underneath me and I just keep fucking her.

When I feel her pussy start to clench around me, I groan. Her eyes are almost rolling back in her head now, and I thrust in and out, deeper, harder and faster. Her body wrenches underneath me, and then I can feel the orgasm rock her. Her pussy squeezes me and the sensation is fucking exquisite.

“Fuck, yes, Lila,” I groan into that gorgeous red hair. Her orgasm shakes her, rocking her beneath me, and I grab onto her hips so that I can keep driving my cock into her. After she comes, my throbbing cock can’t contain its contents anymore. With a loud grunt and groan, I come inside of her, filling her up with hot ejaculate.

I collapse on top of her as both of us catch our breath. I feel a little bad that I’ve come twice and she’s only come once — trust me, I usually like to put the lady first — but Bennett has me all out of sorts this afternoon.

Bennett. Not three seconds after my orgasm is over, his name is back in my head. Motherfucker.

Lila smiles lazily up at me. She strokes my jaw with her index finger, and I grin. I can think of one surefire way to put Bennett out of my head.

Lila and I pass another couple of blissful hours out on the water, eating the sandwiches, pastries and wine I picked up for our lunch, and fucking ourselves silly in between courses. I don’t take us back in to the marina until we’re both sated and exhausted.

“This has been a perfect afternoon,” she sighs happily as we arrive back on land.

  “It really has,” I agree.

Until I look up at the dock and see who’s standing there waiting for us.

  Chapter 13

  Lila

Sam is all smiles, until we reach the marina. As soon as we approach the docking area, his face drops, going cold and stony.

For a second I think that he’s disappointed about the end of our date — until I see who’s standing on the dock waiting for us.

“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” I mutter under my breath. My heart is happy to see Bennett again, but I’m so not looking forward to another bitch fest between these two.

I catch Sam’s eye before we get off the boat. I try to plead with him with my eyes to not make a big fuss, but I can already see the way his nostrils flare and his forehead knits as we make our way down to where Bennett is waiting.

“Hi Bennett,” I say softly, looking him up and down. He may look angry right now, with his arms folded and smoke practically coming out of his ears, but he’s still handsome as hell. He’s wearing a chambray shirt stretched across his broad chest, and a pair of khakis similar to Sam’s. In fact, with their sunglasses on, they look like they could be brothers. Both have the same wind-swept dark hair, the same strong facial features, the same muscular builds.

Instead of answering, Bennett swoops in and kisses me.

I know I shouldn’t, but I melt into it immediately. His kiss is so passionate, so forceful, so stunning, that for a second I let it carry me away.

Until I hear Sam’s voice in the background.

  “What the fuck, Bennett?”

I can feel Bennett’s lips twist into a satisfied grin, and I finally pull back, wiping my mouth and looking guiltily between him and Sam.

“I’m sorry,” I whisper to Sam. I know they’re supposed to be sharing me this month, but I’m not sure if kissing one of them while I’m on a date with another crosses a line or not.

Sam only shakes his head, though, softening for a second.

“I’m not mad at you, Lila. Only at him.” His glare returns as soon as he turns to Bennett. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“The same thing you were doing at Yasu the other night.”

Sam folds his arms now and they stare each other down. I look helplessly back and forth between them.

Sam must notice that I feel uncomfortable, because he slings his arm around my shoulder. For a second I feel grateful, until I notice him smirking at Bennett.

“Come on, babe,” he says to me. “Let’s get out of here.”

I roll my eyes, not caring now if either of them see me.

“You know, when Ava said you had to share me, I don’t think she meant fight over me.”

Sam chuckles. “Who’s fighting? I’m just enjoying my date with you.” He leans over to kiss my hair but I lean sideways, out of his reach. Bennett snickers, and I shoot a glare at him.

His face immediately softens. “I’m sorry, Lila, you’re right. Would you like to go out with me this Friday?”

“Fuck, no,” Sam answers for me. I elbow him in the ribs and he turns to look at me, surprised.

“What? You should go out with me on Friday instead.” A cocky grin crosses his face, as if he fully expects me to say yes. I get the feeling women usually say yes to Sam Baines.

Before I can answer, Bennett interjects. “No way. You just took her out today.”

“Yeah, but that was a day date. Doesn’t count.”

“Of course it counts,” Bennett says, through gritted teeth. “Which means it’s my turn next.”

I throw my hands up in the air. “Enough! Both of you. For your information, not that either of you asked, I’m working Friday night. So I won’t be going out with either of you.”

That quiets them for all of two seconds, until both of them blurt out at the same time, “Saturday?”

I sigh, but this time I almost have to laugh. “You two are incorrigible. I am free on Saturday,” I say slowly, eyeing them both. “But I’m not going to choose.”

Bennett folds his arms again. “Well, if you leave it up to us to choose, things are going to get bloody.”

I bite back another smile. “I’m not going to choose … because there’s no choice to be made. I’m going to go out with both of you. At the same time. The three of us are going to have dinner together, and you two are going to practice being civil to each other. That was the whole point of this arrangement, after all — remember?”

Even with their sunglasses on, I can tell that both Sam and Bennett are horrified by this idea.

“Lila,” Sam starts, but then trails off. His mouth is opening and closing like a fish, and I stifle a giggle.

“I don’t really think …” Bennett adds, looking frantically back and forth between me and Sam.

This time I can’t keep the grin off my face. “See, you’re already in agreement about how much you dislike the idea. I’m sure we’ll be able to find much more common ground over dinner.”

I’m not sure where my sudden confidence is coming from — until this week, I’d never been out with anyone like Bennett or Sam, and now here I am, bossing them around a little bit. Maybe it’s the fact that none of this really feels real to me. Or maybe it’s just the fact that after spending time with both of them, I’m starting to see how similar they are — both stubborn, both confident, both with their own silent pain. Both freaking amazing in bed.

Whatever the cause, I’m kind of enjoying standing here and watching how they squirm.

“Is it a deal?” I ask. “Because, you know, Ava said I could call her if this wasn’t going well.”

Sam’s shoulders drop at Ava’s name, and Bennett uncrosses his arms, sticking his hands in his pockets and trying to look casual.

“Fine.” It’s Bennett that answers first. He doesn’t look at Sam, though, only at me. “We’ll have dinner at my house. I’ll have my chef prepare something. That way when dinner is over, Sam can leave and I can have you all to myself.”

I sigh. Well, at least it’s a start.

I turn to Sam. “Are you in agreement?”

“With everything except that last part,” he grits.

I laugh. “Well, we’ll negotiate that on Saturday. Bennett, thank you for the invitation. Sam and I would love to have dinner with you at your house on Saturday. Isn’t that right, Sam?”

Sam stares incredulously at me, but I don’t back down. Finally he shrugs, casually, trying to pretend like he doesn’t care.

“Right. Thanks Bennett.” The words sound strained, but I’ll give him an A-minus for effort.

“Thank you both,” I say diplomatically. “I’m sure we’ll have a very nice time together.”

But looking at the way these two alphas are staring each other down, I’m starting to think my brilliant plan may not have been so brilliant after all.

For the rest of the week, Bennett and Sam are all I can think about. Every time Dad tries to talk to me, I’m caught up in a daydream, and I mess up so many orders at the diner, Heath threatens to send me home.

In my spare time, I scribble down notes for my article, and do research online about clubs like Orchid across the country. To my surprise, there are more than a few of them, and it gives me a dark thrill to think of all those people out there, exploring their taboo desires.

Not that Bennett and I, or Sam and I, have done anything exactly all that taboo. Aside from the fact that I’m sleeping with two different men, which is a first for me, the sex has been pretty regular. Amazing, but regular. Vanilla.

I have to wonder why Bennett and Sam would be part of Orchid if they weren’t into the kinky stuff. Maybe they just like knowing that I’m theirs for the month?

I push the thought out of my mind, and spend Friday afternoon out at the shops trying to find the perfect little black dress for my date with the men Saturday night.

As I try on sheaths and halter dresses, I wonder again if I’ve done something totally idiotic by suggesting they have dinner together with me.

Oh well — I’m not going to back out now, not after I’ve gotten them both to agree. As long as no one ends up in the hospital, I’ll count the night as a success.

  Chapter 14

  Lila

On Saturday night, I don my brand new one-shoulder black dress. I braid my hair to the side, so that it falls down over my bare shoulder, and then I spend about an hour in the bathroom, applying and reapplying my make-up.

Since we’re going to Bennett’s, Sam had insisted on picking me up. I couldn’t think of a reason not to let him pick me up at my house, so at ten minutes to eight, I’m watching at the window as he pulls up in his yellow Ferrari.

“That’s quite the car,” Dad remarks, chuckling as he peers between the lacy living room curtains.

“Yeah, it’s something” I say, grabbing my purse and slipping on my stilettos. I don’t want Sam to come in, so I give Dad a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Don’t wait up,” I tell him, and he pretends to grimace.

“Fathers hate hearing that,” he complains.

I grin. “I know, Daddy, but I’ll be fine, I promise.”

“I know you will, pumpkin. Be safe. Call if you need anything.”

“I will.” I hurry out the door and guiltily make my way to Sam’s car. He hops out to hold the passenger door open for me, and he plants a kiss on me before I slip inside. I sneak a glance back to the house and see Dad watching through the front door. Ugh.

I’m not sure how he’d feel about Sam, though he’d probably come around to the idea eventually. It’s all the other stuff I feel guilty about — the fact that I’m seeing both Bennett and Sam, the fact that I went to Orchid, the fact that I’m getting paid to be with them.

God. Once again, the reality of what I’m doing really sinks in — I’m getting paid to be with them. It feels wrong on so many levels. Like I’m nothing more than a prostitute.

Yet, when I glance over at Sam, he gives me a grin. He seems genuinely happy to see me. It’s so easy to forget, in his presence and in Bennett’s, what the true nature of our relationship is. Because it doesn’t feel like that when I’m with them.

“Everything okay?” Sam asks, looking at me with concern as he speeds out of my little neighborhood. “Because you know, we can cancel this whole thing if you want. I’ll take you to a nice dinner, just the two of us.”

“Nice try,” I grin. “You’re not getting out of this.”

Sam grumbles something under his breath, but he drops the subject, and we chat about his work and the diner until we arrive at Bennett’s Malibu mansion.

The gate slides open for us automatically, and I wonder if Bennett has been watching for us. For a second I imagine him pacing back and forth, and I take a moment to wonder if maybe both of them are as nervous about this as I am. For some reason, it suddenly feels like a big deal to be doing this. I’m not sure why, but it does.

  I glance over at Sam.

  “Ready?”

He steels himself and then nods. “Ready as I’ll ever be. You know I’m only doing this for you, right?”

I laugh. “I know.” I lean over and kiss him on the cheek. “And I appreciate it. Now let’s go.”

We stroll up to the main door of Bennett’s home, but before we can knock, the solid steel door swings open. Bennett stands before us, looking incredibly sexy in a dark blue suit and white button-down shirt, open at the collar.

“Hello Lila,” he says, leaning in to kiss me gently on the lips. Beside me, Sam stiffens. “You look beautiful tonight.” He turns to Sam and nods curtly. “Sam.”

“Bennett.” Sam returns his brusque nod.

“All right, enough with the pleasantries,” I joke.

Sam grumbles again but then holds out something towards Bennett. I hadn’t even noticed he brought something with him from the car.

Bennett eyes the bag suspiciously. “What’s that?”

  “Just take it.”

Bennett reluctantly takes the bag and pulls out a bottle of scotch.

“Macallan,” he says, a note of surprise on his voice. “My favorite.”

I feel a warmth spread through me. “Sam, that was so thoughtful.”

“Yeah, well,” he grunts. “My mother taught me to never go to someone’s home without bringing something.”

“Jackie,” I say, remembering the name of his boat.

“Yeah.” Sam looks at me, surprised. His face looks more open than it has all night. He studies me for a minute, and I feel my skin start to flush under the intensity of his gaze.

Bennett clears his throat. “Well … thank you,” he says finally. His voice sounds rusty, as if he never thought he’d be saying those words to Sam Baines.

“Now I feel bad … I didn’t bring anything for you,” I say, looking down at my empty hands.

“Don’t be silly,” Bennett says. “You brought yourself. That’s all I could want.”

“Exactly,” Sam agrees. “You’re our gift tonight.”

I look back and forth between them. They’re both watching me now, and I squirm at the heat in their eyes. I have no idea how tonight is going to play out, but I have a funny feeling it’s going to be very interesting.

“Look at that,” I say, trying to lighten the moment a little. “You agree on something.”

Bennett rolls his eyes. “I need a drink,” he says, turning on his heel.

“Me too.” Sam follows him through the foyer.

“See? Something else you agree on!” I chime, as I scurry to keep up with them. They both pointedly ignore my observation and I giggle slightly to myself.

Once we’re in the main living area, Bennett gets us drinks — Chardonnay for me, whiskey sour for Sam, and scotch for himself. It isn’t lost on me that he’s remembered our drink orders from the first night we spent time together at Orchid.

I take my drink and look around the living space. I didn’t have much time to look around last time I was over at Bennett’s, so now I join Sam in gazing around in awe at the soaring ceilings, the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the giant wall-sized aquarium at the edge of the room. Sam, of course, is trying not to look impressed, but I can barely keep my jaw from hanging open.

“Bennett, your place is absolutely amazing,” I tell him honestly. I glance at Sam, who sniffs as he watches the angelfish. “Isn’t it amazing, Sam?”

He shrugs. “Bit ostentatious, if you ask me.”

I turn to Bennett. “What Sam means is that you have a lovely home.”
