‘Dad, can I have a go?’ I asked.
‘Sure thing, Weir!’
Dad stepped out of the way and I began wriggling
behind the shed.
Wriggling behind the shed was easy for me …
I guess
being small
helps sometimes!
You wouldn’t believe who I found back there!
It was Blockhead who was barking all along!
CHAPTER 8
Blockhead had hurt his wing flying behind the school shed, but he’s much better already.
Everyone’s been helping him rest up.
Especially me and FiDo.
Dad thinks I’ll make an awesome firefighter one day. And maybe even FiDo could join me as a rescue dog.
