  Javier closed the door, and they strolled over to the living room. “Alanie, how have you been?”

  “Great. I talked to Lucy, she said she might be coming here for the summer.”

  “Maybe.” He went up the stairs, and yelled down, “Jazz we’re leaving in ten!”

  “Mrs. Martinez, it’s really nice to meet Nicky’s mom. He’s a great baby.”

  “Alanie, please call me Jazmine.”

  “Okay.”

  “Anything in the refrigerator and pantry is up for grabs.” Jazmine grabbed the TV remote and gave it to her. “If you need anything, please call my cell. My number is on the refrigerator.”

  “We’ll be fine. I’m CPR certified.”

  “That’s awesome.”

  “Yep, had to practice on my sister—after I choked her.” Alanie giggled.

  Jazmine’s eyes widened.

  “Just kidding, Mrs. Jazmine, he usually sleeps the whole time I’m here.” She clicked the TV on. “I have a little sister; I have lots of training.”

  Heavy thuds echoed through the foyer and Jazmine smiled. “We’re leaving.”

  “Have fun,” Alanie replied as she plopped down on the sofa

  ***

  Javier walked behind Jazmine with his hand on her ass, entering the lounge. He didn’t like the way guys stared at her. She looked amazing; her make-up was flawless, and her dangling earrings matched the red shirt and pumps she wore. His cock jerked just thinking of the things he wanted to do to her when they got home.

  He left her on the far wall, where he could see her, and he stalked to the bar and ordered their drinks. Some dude went over to Jazmine and started talking. He clenched his jaw, and then cracked his knuckles—fuck he was jealous. Jazmine polity smiled and turned away from the man.

  He couldn’t believe she was his, never in a million years did he think he would end up with such a beauty. He wasn’t looking for her, but she was all he needed.

  The bartender gave him his drinks, and he marched straight to her. There was another fool trying to get her to dance.

  “Thank you, but no,” she said, swaying from side to side.

  “Come on, baby, just one dance.” The guy moved closer.

  Jazmine stepped back. “I’m here with someone,” she said in a stern voice.

  “Where?” he said, trying to grab her hand.

  “Right here!” Javier glared at the short man. He moved in front of him and leaned down, kissing her and ignoring him.

  She smiled against his lips. “I had that.”

  He handed her the glass of red wine. “I know you did, but that’s why you have me.”

  He took a gulp of his drink, and he moved behind her with his hands over her shoulders. “Babe, leave on those pumps when we get home.”

  She laughed, leaning her head back on his chest.

  “They’ll make nice earrings.” He pictured her feet dangling by her ears.

  She turned in his arms, and his hands slid to the arch of her back.

  “I don’t think I’m that flexible.”

  “Oh, but you are.” He kissed her, tasting mint and wine. He saw some people getting up from a table in front of the stage. “Come on, I see a table.” He grabbed her hand and maneuvered them through the crowd to sit.

  “I have a surprise for you.” She took a sip of her wine.

  “What are you up to?” He placed his hands on her leg and began tracing her seam. “I know something you can give me.”

  As he caressed her, he could see desire in her sparkling eyes. He would never get tired of seeing her cum, the thought had him instantly hard.

  “It’s a talent you didn’t know I have.” She jokingly slapped his hands away.

  He sat back in his chair. “It better be good.”

  The karaoke portion of the night began—he hated Karaoke—but he would do anything to see her smile, even if it meant enduring terrible singers.

  Jazmine was screaming and laughing, singing along, and cheering them on.

  He sipped on his third drink, shouting over the music. “She sucks!”

  She rolled her eyes at him, and then waved her hands in the air from side to side. He’d never seen her so free and relaxed. She was on her second glass of wine. He had to start drinking water, or else they would have to catch a cab.

  Everyone clapped or booed at the red head; the MC got up on the stage, and started talking about a whole bunch of nothing, and then he said, “Jazmine O’Neal.”

  Javier eyes widened, and he gaped at Jazmine when she got up. She blew a kiss at him.

  She strolled up on stage, and then grabbed the mic. He gawked at her as the music started playing. He knew exactly which song it was, Giving Him Something He Can Feel, by En Vogue. She began to sway sensually from side to side.

  He heard men in the crowd whistling, chanting take it off, but he ignored them. That was his woman.

  “Papi, this is for you.” She grabbed the mic, pointing at him.

  Javier straightened in his chair, fixing his erection and giving her his full attention. No one in the room mattered but her.

  Jazmine started singing, “Shoo… Shoo… Ohhh… Many say that I’m too young, to let you…” Damn, she sounded just like Dawn. She was doing the exact moves En Vogue did in the video, and his cock pushed against the zipper of his jeans. Her voice was hypnotizing him.

  She seductively came down the stairs and danced her way over to him. She stood in front of him, and then dropped down before slowly rising back up. The crowd whistled and cheered. Jazmine closed his legs and placed hers on either side of his; she twined her hips, rotating them, and then started to grind on him.

  He let her do her thing, placing his hands on the back of his head, chuckling. She was singing her ass off. Jazmine was full of surprises.

  “My man.” She bowed and gave him a deep kiss. “I love you,” she said against his lips as the music ended.

  ***

  Malcolm and Eva entered the karaoke lounge.

  He stopped in his tracks when he saw Jazmine singing on stage, she was smiling and dancing, this was the Jazmine he missed. His cock throbbed watching her dance moves, remembering their old days in bed. His smile faded when he noticed she was singing to someone in the front row.

  Eva placed her arm around his waist. “Oh, I see my cousin’s here.”

  He struggled to pull from her touch and glared at her. “You knew she would be here tonight. You wanted her to see us together.”

  “I had no idea my cousin would be here, ‘specially with her new man.” Eva placed her hand on her hip.

  “Where?”

  “Right over there,” Eva pointed at a white guy in the front, but he couldn’t see his face.

  He moved a few steps. “That white dude.”

  “Nope, he’s Hispanic.”

  And then Jazmine started walking down the steps, stood in front of the fella, and began practically fucking him. He clenched his jaw and balled his fists. It was like someone punched him in the gut. When she leaned down and kissed him, he saw the motherfucker. “Martinez? Fuck no!” He shoved through the crowd to get over to the table.

  ***

  Out of nowhere, someone snatched Jazmine off of him.

  “You motherfucker!” And then the stranger struck him in the jaw, making him tumble off of the chair. Everyone around them moved.

  Javier got up, touching his face and cracking his jaw. He lost it when he saw Malcolm had his hand around Jazmine’s arm, shaking her. “How could you do this, and with him!” he yelled in her face.

  Without thinking, Javier balled his fist and connected with Malcolm’s left cheek, and then his mouth. Malcolm stumbled back, and when he straightened, his bottom lip was bleeding.

  Javier glanced at Jazmine and saw the fear in her eyes. Caught off guard, Malcolm swung at him again, and Javier ducked.

  “Look, I don’t want to fight you.” Javier was furious. He knew his temper. If he fought Malcolm, he knew he could hurt him. He’d been a fighter a
ll of his life.

  “You fucked him!” he screamed at Jazmine.

  Jazmine glared at him, and then he stupidly grabbed at her again. This time she started to chant. “Please don’t touch me…”

  “Malcolm, take your hands off of her,” Javier spat.

  “Don’t touch me, don’t touch me!” she wailed.

  Javier was about to pounce on him, when all of a sudden, she pulled away her arm and slapped him. “When I say no, I mean no!”

  Malcolm raised his fist to strike her back. Javier jumped him. He struck him with his left fist and then his right. “I told you not to touch my wife!”

  Malcolm’s eyes widened as he pushed Javier off of him. “Your wife?”

  The bouncers ran up to them and seized Javier from behind. Jazmine ran to his side, touching his swollen lip. “Baby, are you okay?” she asked, concerned.

  Malcolm’s face was bloody. “Your fucking wife!” He wiped a palm down his face.

  “Look, dude, I wanted to tell you,” Javier said between heated breaths.

  “Tell me what?” Malcolm shouted.

  “That you were in love with my wife.” Javier took Jazmine’s hand. “Don’t ever put your hands on her again.”

  “You don’t have to worry about that, I had her, and I’ve had better.” Malcolm’s nose flared.

  Jazmine held Javier back. “Let’s go home.”

  “You don’t have to leave, come on Eva, it’s time to go.” Malcolm clutched Eva’s hand. She stared at them with a smirk on her face.

  “Really, Eva?” Jazmine voice held astonishment.

  Malcolm pulled Eva through the crowd.

  Jazmine got a napkin off of the table, and then wiped at his mouth. “I’m sorry.”

  “This needed to happen.” He stroked her hair.

  “Not like this.” She touched his lip.

  “Well, he knows now.” He pulled her closer. “You were great, I didn’t know you could sing like that.” He gazed at her. “Are you okay?”

  “Please, don’t look at me like that.”

  “Like what?”

  “Pity—I had a moment. I don’t like to be manhandled, but I’m okay.”

  “I know, I witnessed it, and nice aim.” He kissed her.

  Tonight, by John Legend, started playing.

  “Our song.” She pulled him to the dance floor. “Don’t let him ruin our night.”

  Javier followed her movements, grinding on her ass. He dug into his pocket, pulling out a red velvet bag as she danced with him. Jazmine turned, and he held up the diamond ring. Her eyes sparkled with tears. He clutched her ring finger, and then placed the band on. He kissed her knuckles and mouthed, “I love you.” He also placed a platinum band on his finger.

  Her face lit up, observing the diamonds all around the ring, and she placed her hands behind his neck, and tiptoed. “I love you more than you’ll ever know.” His tongue met her lips, and she opened up, letting him in, and then he remembered where they were and backed off.

  “I’ll show you how much when we get home.” He grabbed her ass.

  Jazmine touched his lips. “Oops, does it hurt?”

  Javier smiled through the pain and shook his head.

  They danced away the night until the lounge closed. She brought out so many things in him, laughter for one. He even forgot about the pain—her smile was his medicine.

  ***

  Jazmine drove Alanie home. When she arrived home, Javier had already taken a shower and was sound asleep in his boxers. “What happened to showing me?” she mumbled, covering him with the sheets.

  She pulled off her clothes and took a shower; she dried off and wrapped the robe around her body, and then she had a mischievous thought. She climbed on the bed, lifted the sheet, and pulled it back so she could see his face, before crawling down his body.

  Jazmine positioned her hands in his boxers and started stroking him. He moved and grunted. Her hands kept caressing his dick, twisting up and down. She slid one hand to the base of his cock, and she fondled his balls with the other.

  Javier moaned, moving his hips.

  She wrapped her tongue around the base of his dick, and that’s when Javier’s eyes fluttered open to gaze at her. She swirled her tongue up and down his rod. His eyes darkened, and she dipped her head, taking him as deep as she could.

  “Fuck…” he groaned deep in his throat, thrusting up.

  Jazmine kept bobbing her head, adding a little saliva. “Mmm,” she hummed.

  Javier’s hands fisted her hair, and tugged. He slowly released his grip on her tresses, grabbed the sheets, and moved his hips to her rhythm. Jazmine grabbed his hands and put them back against her head.

  She stared at him while deep throating his cock as far as she could, almost gagging.

  “Jazmine.” Instead of gripping her strands, he cupped her head and guided her.

  She could feel his balls tighten under her touch. Jazmine continued to suck him, making the butterfly effect, twirling her tongue.

  In a swift move, Javier grabbed her shoulders and flipped her so she was under him. He pushed her legs apart with his, and then thrust into her channel. “Jazz … mine…” He closed his eyes, seizing the sheets by her head. “Babe … you’re so tight.” He sunk in completely. “Don’t … don’t … move baby … I don’t want to cum yet.”

  Jazmine was in a playing mood, and she started to rotate her hips, contracting her pussy muscles.

  “Jazz…” He moved her robe, exposing her breast, he bowed his head and hungrily sucked on her tits.

  “Oh … yes…” she moaned loudly. She knew she wasn’t going to last long.

  Javier gave her long, slow strokes, hitting her g-spot, and she could feel the buildup coming. “Oh shit…”

  He must have known she was about to burst; he moved faster—his strokes were short and deep. “Javy…” she screamed as her orgasm hit her like a ton of bricks.

  Her pussy milked his dick, and he joined her in ecstasy, growling her name and biting her collarbone.

  Javier lay on her, and then pushed himself up and rolled to her side. “I told you not to move.” He caught his breath.

  “You know I’m not good at following orders.” She lay in the crook of his arm and chest.

  “You have skills.” He touched her lips.

  “Only for you.” She gave him a smooch.

  “Oh… I know, because I’ll kill any man that comes near you,” his voice was heavy with sleep.

  Jazmine circled her left arm around him, and her heartbeat synced with his, and then fell asleep.

  Chapter Twenty-Eight

  The sound of running water from Javier’s shower could be heard through the thin walls of the bedroom. Jazmine had just put Nicky down for the night and was entering their room when Javier’s phone rang, buzzing along the surface of the nightstand. Jazmine couldn’t believe how happy she was; she was singing all the time, coming home early from work. She even enjoyed doing chores, especially washing Nicky’s clothes. She couldn’t stop smiling as she sat on the bed to collect her things. The plan of joining her man under the hot steamy water forming in her head. The corner of her lips turned down when his phone kept ringing. She tried to ignore it, but the melody continued. What if it’s an emergency, she thought.

  “Hello,” she answered without looking at the screen.

  “Who’s this?” a female asked.

  Jazmine held the phone away from her ear and looked at it intently. The screen showed Monica’s name.

  “You’re the one calling, who are you?” Jazmine calmly asked.

  “Bitch, put Javier on the phone?” Monica hollered.

  “Excuse me?” She never liked the bitch in the first place, but she’d never dissed her.

  “You heard me, put my man on the phone.”

  “You’re man!” Jazmine roared. “Last time I checked, he was my husband.” Jazmine’s voice raised as Javier came out the bathroom in his boxers.

  “You fucking liar! Javy isn’t marrie
d. He would never do that to me.”

  Jazmine gave Javier a dirty glare, and then threw the phone at him. He looked at her with his eyebrows drawn together and a question in his gaze. Hurt consumed her; he hadn’t told his family they were married yet, because if he had, Monica would’ve been the first to know. She knew he loved her, but she wondered if he regretted the decision to stay married. She hopped off the bed and hurried from their bedroom.

  ~~~
  Javier caught the phone when she threw it at him. “What the…” He didn’t finish his sentence when he saw the screen. “Fuck.” He could hear Monica’s anxious voice, “Hello!”
  “Monica,” he sighed.
  “Monica, my ass. Is it true what that trick said? You’re fucking married!” she shouted.
  He moved the phone away from his ear. He hadn’t told his family about Jazmine being his wife, because he didn’t really care what they thought. He was tired of always pleasing them. It was time for him to be happy.
  “Yes, Monica, I’m married,” he gently said, knowing it was going to hurt her.
  “Did I hear you correctly? You’re fucking married!” her voice cracked. “Were you married when you fucked me four months ago?”
  “This isn’t the way I wanted you find out.”
  “Javy, you were supposed to marry me. Since we were kids, that was the plan,” her voice rattled. “You told me you weren’t ready. You’ve been gone, what? Eight months, and suddenly you’re ready?”
  He sighed. “I wasn’t prepared until I met her. You can’t help who you love.”
  “I loved you!” she yelled. “I loved you so much, that I took extreme measures for us to be together.”
  Javier was confused, but he needed to get to his wife and explain. “I have to go.” He was about to hang up.
  “Not until I tell you why I called.”
  “And what’s that?” he asked curiously.
  “I’m pregnant,” she huffed.
  “And, what does that have to do with me?”
