Warrior (Twisted Sister #2) Page 15

by Lacy LeRoch

Alison closes her eyes and gets lost deep in thought. She takes a deep breath and slowly rises from her seat. Her feet move painfully slow as she walks over toward McKinley. His eyes widen, his mouth falls open. He glances from Jay to Alison and back again, almost like he can’t believe what he’s seeing.

If the situation weren't so serious, it would be comical. Alison slows to a stop when she gets directly in front of McKinley, as if unsure of her next move. With his mouth still agape, he rises from his seat and places a hand on Alison’s shoulder, gently pushing her down onto the seat he just vacated.

“I won’t touch you anymore, not unless you give me permission,” he tells her softly.

“So you don’t want—” Alison starts before McKinley cuts her off. He kneels down in front of the seat she now sits in and gently places his hands on her knees. “Alison, make no mistake, I do want you. I wanted you from the minute I saw you walk into that bar. But now is not the time for us to talk of such things. I’m trying my best to show your brother respect. And that’s hard when all I want to do is pull you into my arms and take you to my room. I will respect Jay, for allowing you to come to me just now.” He stands up and looks down the end of the table toward Owen and waits.

All eyes fall on Owen as he finally looks up and notices what’s going on?

“Are you sure?” he timidly asks McKinley looking everywhere but at Jay.

“Oh God, no way,” Jay mumbles next to me.

“I told you there was more,” Jordi laughs.

“I won’t force it, Owen,” McKinley mumbles walking around to stand behind Alison. He places his hand on her left shoulder and smiles reassuringly at Owen. He watches the movement and with a small smile, he gets up from the end of the table and walks over to stand behind Alison and places a hand on her right shoulder. He then reaches over with his spare hand, grabs Owen around the back of the neck and pulls him close for a quick kiss. Then he breaks the kiss and smiles triumphantly at the gasp that surrounds the room. “Right, the only ones I want left in here are Jay, Philli, Owen, the girls and myself. All the rest… clear out and do rounds. I want reports back to me in thirty minutes.”

The men start to file out of the room grunting and groaning. I snatch Rafe’s hand as he walks past stopping him midstride. “Madison and I will come by medical in a minute.”

“Thanks man, see you then,” Rafe nods and walks out of the room.

As the last Watcher steps outside and shuts the door, McKinley drags two seats over and places them on either side of Alison. He takes one of the seats as Owen claims the other. A double mating like this has never been done, I never thought in a million years that he could possibly be bi-sexual. It still surprises me. The two men stare down at Alison in awe.

“So, it’s true then?” Madison asks.

She takes me by surprise as she crawls back onto my lap, and caresses me behind the ear.

  “What’s true?” Jay grumbles.

“Oh, um… when I took hold of Alison’s hand at the hospital, I had a vision of her with two men. I didn’t get a chance to see their faces, but I could feel the bond between them. Stupid, I know, but I’m just telling you what I saw.”

“Hang on, ma petite, you saw Alison in a vision?” I ask curiously.

“No, I didn’t see her, I was her.”

“She’s a Seer,” Jay calls out in awe.

“No, more than that… Seers see the vision and are still themselves. From the sound of it, Madison was Alison, she had her emotions, her body, and she was Alison for as long as that vision lasted.”

“Philli, has this…” Jay calmly points over to where McKinley and Owen sit with Alison, “… has something like this happened before?”

“Why are you asking him, don’t you know the answer to that?” Madison growls.

Her attitude spikes in frustration and she growls low in her throat. She pushes her lips close to my neck and nibbles at the crook while I purr.

“I’m not as old as he is… little sister, are you all right?” Jay reaches over and grabs hold of her shoulder, making me growl.

I don’t like anyone touching what’s mine. And if I didn’t know that he was her brother, and in a messed up way, mine as well, I would be reaching over the table and ripping his fucking throat out. Madison spins around facing him, her eyes glowing bright orange.

“Philli…” Jay grits out slowly. “What’s wrong with my sister?”

I reach out and take hold of Madison’s chin, turning her around to face me. “Ma petite?”

Madison’s pupils dilate as she focuses on the soft flesh of my neck.

“What the fuck is wrong with my sister?” Jay demands more forcefully.

  “I-I um… I don’t know,” I mumble.

“What do you mean, you don’t know?” he yells.

Madison spins and looks over her shoulder, growling, “Back off.” Her voice coming out more feral than normal.

“Philli, she’s hungry,” Dragon croons impressed with himself.

“What do you mean, Dragon?” I say aloud unable to speak in my mind.

“Philli, is everything okay? What’s going on?” Owen asks rising from his seat and standing slightly in front of Alison. I can’t blame him for wanting to protect her. Madison is scaring even me right now. And the way that Dragon is crooning and purring over the situation is making me uneasy. I’ve never known Dragon to act this way before. So self-confident, so assured of himself, but above all so calm.

“She needs to feed. She needs to drink our blood,” Dragon purrs, rubbing his scales along my skin.

Madison’s head turns slightly, her eyes zone onto the heartbeat pulsing under my skin. “What are you talking about, Dragon?”

“Philli, I’m going to forgive you for being so fucking stupid right now. Madison is our true mate. True full mate,” he tells me, arrogance coating his voice.

“Okay, normally I would sit here and allow you to disappear into your own mind, and not worry about it. But when my sister starts staring at you like you’re her dinner. Well, then I worry. I swear man, it doesn’t run in the family,” Jay chuckles nervously.

“Shit, the thing is…” I swallow audibly and continue, “…Dragon, is telling me that Madison is my true full mate.”

“I think you went stupid the minute you were mated. We already knew that!” McKinley chuckles.

I roll my eyes groaning, and try to explain it as best as I can. “Okay, so the thing is, yes she’s my mate. But from what dragon is telling me, she is my true full mate. There’s a huge difference, and it’s very rare for it to happen. We all have mates and that’s fine, but a very rare few of us end up with true full mates.”

“I don’t understand,” Owen says shaking his head. I watch as he reaches out and takes Alison’s hand in his. She smiles sweetly up at him.

“She needs to feed Philli, and now,” Dragon growls impatiently.

“I can see that Dragon, but what the fuck do I do?” I growl aloud.

“Damn Philli you cursed, are you sure you haven’t been affected in a weird way from the mating?” Owen chuckles, earning a slap in the back of the head from McKinley.

Madison’s eyes grow wider when I tilt my head to the side to look at Jay. “You might want to move out of the way, okay. I have no idea what I’m doing, and… I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Madison needs to feed.”

“What the fuck do you mean… feed?” he growls, jumping up onto the table. He leaps across the other side and takes a seat looking lost, confused, and frustrated all at the same time. “Brother, you know I trust you with my own life, and now in that extent I trust you with my sister’s so I will do as you say. But this is some freaky shit, and I have no fucking idea what’s going on, already.”

“Hang on, I can’t explain this with Madison staring at me the way she is. Let me work this out. Just whatever happens, don’t freak out, okay?”

Owen and McKinley stand and lean casually against the table beside Alison. The move i
sn’t lost on me they’re making sure they are able to protect her if anything goes wrong.

Jay leans back in his seat and stares open mouthed.

I try to calm my breathing down as I pull Madison toward me. This whole thing is putting me on edge. I’d like to think that I know everything there is, but over the last forty-eight hours, I’ve come to the understanding that there’s so much more that I need to learn—this being one of them. I’m not ashamed to admit that. The idea of feeding Madison scares the hell out of me. I’ve heard stories over the years of things going wrong, of it not working out and everything going balls up. They have said that a true full Dragon mate will need to feed on the blood of the Dragon, in order to live as long as we do. It also connects us mind to mind and allows her to have the powers I have. The only thing that gives me some form of relief is that every story has been different, so it could all just be that—stories.

“You need to move slow with her, bring her in close. She needs to get at our neck. It would be better if she could feed on me, but she will have to do with you for now,” Dragon coaches.

Following Dragon’s lead, I start to turn Madison around so she’s facing me, with her thighs straddling my hips. She hisses startling me.

“Move slower, Philli, don’t scare her out of the hunger,” Dragon growls in frustration.

“What do you mean scare her out of her hunger?” I ask aloud.

I could keep this all telepathically in my mind with Dragon but I, at least, want the men to know half of what’s going on.

“If you break into her feeding now, she won’t be able to feed this time. The hunger only comes on every couple of hours and if she misses one the next one will be extremely painful for her.”

“I don’t understand what you’re telling me? Are you saying that if she doesn’t get this starry, scary face, she can’t feed?”

“It’s called the hunger fever. If she doesn’t have it, her fangs won’t come down and she won’t be able to feed. If you startle her, she’ll snap out of the hunger zone and won’t have the fangs to feed. Are you getting what I’m trying to tell you? I don’t have time to explain it to you like a child. Get with the program, get it together, Philli,” Dragon growls.

He sends a sonic heat wave through my body. He’s getting just as frustrated as I am with this whole thing.

“Did anyone tell you how much of an asshole you are?” I grit my teeth and pant, holding my head from the onslaught of heat that works its way through me.

“I think I’m going to like this Philli even more. He curses and isn’t so uptight.” Owen laughs.

“You all need to be quiet, fuckers,” I growl.

“Yep, totally loving this one even more,” he whispers.

Alison leans behind Owen and tugs on the hair at the nape of his neck. “Hush you,” she whispers.

McKinley leans down and places a soft kiss to the top of her head. Alison looks up at him, shyly smiling, and reaches up to takes his hand in hers.

“Pull her closer, Philli. You need to bring her as close as you can. I won’t lie, this is going to hurt like a bitch until she learns how to do it properly. But on the upside, it will make you horny as hell,” Dragon murmurs.

I’m humming with anticipation, as I reach out and gently maneuver Madison so that she’s sitting directly on my lap, her backside sits nestled onto my growing erection. I wrap my arms around the small of her back and hold on tight.

“Now what?” I ask Dragon, as I begin shaking with unknown emotions.

“Give her the left side of your neck. You only feed her from your left. You honor her this way. Tilt your head right down to expose as much as you can.”

Following Dragon’s orders, I lower my head to the right, placing my ear on my shoulder exposing the left side of my neck for her. The growl that comes from Madison’s mouth hardens my cock to stone. “I knew you would like this.” Dragon laughs. “Brace yourself, I will connect with her mind and try to get her to feed slowly. I can’t promise anything because this is her first time. And she’s still learning, as are you.”

My hands shake violently as I wrap my arms around the small of Madison’s back, holding on tight. She brings her mouth to my neck. Two long white fangs shoot from her mouth. Her tongue swipes out over my pulse then she bites down hard. It isn’t like when she mated me, this is rough, needy and dominate.

A low whistle echoes around the room as someone sucks in a breath. I don’t notice who it is as I close my eyes. The pleasure that I feel from her suckling on my neck is unlike anything I’ve felt before. She alternates between sucking and nibbling. Mon Dieu but the feeling shoots right to my cock. Madison sucks hard and deep as she allows my blood to flow down her throat. She moans loudly. Reaching up, she wraps a hand around the back of my neck and tries to pull me closer.

“I’m trying to calm her, Philli, are you okay?” Dragon asks concern lacing his voice.

“I’m fine,” I all but purr.

Madison grinds her hips across my hard length, back and forth. She rolls her hips at the last minute and I groan with unadulterated pleasure.

“She is almost finished, hang in there,” Dragon croons sending healing over my body.

I’m so close to releasing in my pants that I have to sit here and start thinking of other things. I think about the fact that I’m in a room full of men watching this. Fuck, that doesn’t help. That only feeds my ego and passion. I let my mind drift off hoping that nothing sexy pops up. I can’t focus with her grinding and panting on me. Madison breaks her suction on my neck with a loud gasp, then she sucks in a deep breath and shivers. She’s exhausted as she drops her head to my shoulder. I know how she feels, I find my own arms are heavy and tired from the amount of blood she’s drunk. I’m panting and can feel my eyes closing.

“Little one, you need to seal his neck. Wake up little one. He will bleed out if you don’t seal his neck,” Dragon encourages Madison.

Madison lifts her heavy head sighing with exhaustion and licks the puncture wounds.

“Good girl, very good girl. Now sleep my love, sleep,” Dragon croons.

“Philli… Philli… are you okay?” Alison whispers.

She reaches out and gently shakes on my shoulder. I open my eyes and see four sets of concerned eyes staring at me.

“I’m fine, thank you, Ally. That was just as new for me, as it was for you all to witness.”

“So that isn’t something that’s normal?” she asks looking between Owen and McKinley.

I bring my arms up and wrap them around Madison’s shoulders not wanting to let her go. “No, as far as Dragon has told me that only happens with a Dragon’s true full mate.”

“You said that Philli, but fuck me what does it mean?” Owen asks staring in disbelief at my neck where Madison was just feeding.

“It means, that she isn’t just destined to be with me, but she belongs to Dragon as well.”

“Isn’t that one in the same?” Alison’s curious eyes shine back.

“No Ally, we are two totally different beings. Normally, our mates can pass by being drawn to either the Dragon or the human. But in Madison’s case, she’s not only meant to be with me, but with Dragon as well.” I bring my hand up and smother a yawn.

Alison rises from the chair and walks over to me. She rests her hand on my shoulder and waits until I bring my gaze up to hers. “Philli, take my sister and go rest. I will be fine, we…” Alison points around the room at the other men, “…we will be fine. Won't we?” she asks Owen and McKinley.

McKinley walks over and stands next to Alison towering over her small frame. Alison steps over and wraps her arm around his side, and he pulls her in front of him smiling wide and springs his wings out of his back with a loud whoosh. Alison looks over her shoulder at his deep red wings in awe.

“Come here,” McKinley calls out to Owen. He gingerly walks over and stands beside them, clasping his hands in front of his stomach and lowers his head. McKinley shakes his head, tsking. He raises his ey
ebrows and pulls Owen in front his body to stand beside Alison. Smiling from ear to ear, as he spreads his red wings out wide and wraps them around both, Owen and Alison.

“See, we can behave.” He grins. “These two are mine, I will always honor them.”

I laugh and turn to look over at Jay, who’s watching on expressionless.

  “Jay?” I ask.

He scrubs a hand over his day old stubble and stares over at me. “Look, here is the thing, I don’t like the situation. I only just found my sisters, just to find out they aren’t mine to care for. Philli, I don’t have to explain to you how weird that is,” he says pointing to Madison in my arms. “You’re my brother and she my sister. It’s a little strange.”

“I know, Brother. But you know I will care for her.”

“I know you will, I just need time.” He points over to McKinley. “And that, over there… it’s pretty clear that I don’t have a say.”

“I never said you don’t have a say,” McKinley says quietly. “Just give me a chance to prove that I will treat her well. Please, just let me try?” he begs.

Alison pulls his head down to hers and whispers in his ear. He drops his wings and nods. Jay watches Alison walk over to him and stands in front of him. She reaches out and wraps her arms around his stomach and leans into his chest.

“Jay, I always wanted a brother, and now I have one. I can’t wait to get to know you. And besides, you and I…” she points between them, “…haven’t you noticed, we look alike?” She winks, kisses him on the cheek and walks back over to Owen and McKinley. Only this time she wraps her arms around Owen and kisses him softly.

Jay laughs at Alison and turns toward the door. “You, baby sister, are going to be a handful. Give them hell little one.” He blows her a kiss and turns his attention to us. “Make no mistake, if either of my baby sisters are hurt, I’ll bring a wrath down on your heads, unlike anything you’ve seen before.”
