“You out here fuckin’ and living the good life while I was stuck in a fuckin’ cell!” Blake yelled. He hit Tiffany on the side of her head with the gun, causing her head to bounce off the driver’s side window.

“Fuck you!” Tiffany capped back. “Quick is more of a man than you will ever be.”

  Whack!

That last remark caused her to get hit with the gun again.

“Fuck you and that bitch-ass nigga Quick!” Blake laughed. “After I kill you, I got something special planned for that clown.”

Tiffany hopped on the highway and gunned the engine. If she was going to make a move, it was going to have to be now.

“Bitch, what the fuck is you doing?” Blake yelled nervously as the Lexus sped up. “Slow this muthafucka down before I blow your brains out!”

Tiffany took a deep breath as she quickly reached behind her and grabbed the gun. The Lexus swerved back and forth as the two fought for control of the gun. She tried to steer with one hand as she struggled for the gun with her other hand.

Blake won the battle and gained control of the gun, but before he even got a chance to aim it at Tiffany’s head, she stomped on the brakes, causing him to go flying through the windshield.

Tiffany held on to the steering wheel with two hands, trying to give her nerves a second to calm down. She looked in the middle of the highway and saw Blake laid out motionless on the ground. Then she peeked in the rearview mirror and saw that several accidents had occurred because of her hitting her brakes the way she did.

“Ma’am, are you okay?” the white man asked, standing at the driver’s window of Tiffany’s car.

Tiffany didn’t respond. She just nodded her head as she heard the sound of several sirens. The only thing going through her mind was, she needed to get back to Quick so he could protect her. She stepped on the gas and swerved around Blake’s body as she headed back home.

Just as Tiffany made it about three blocks away from her house, she saw flashing lights in her rearview mirror.

“Fuck y’all,” she said to herself as she kept on driving. She wasn’t going to stop until she made it home. She knew she was in trouble, but she felt safer in the presence of her man. Besides, she didn’t trust the police, especially not with her life.

After about a three-minute high-speed chase, she pulled up on the front lawn of the mansion, prepared to deal with whatever came her way.

  “Fuck the Police”

Quick and Lucky stood in front of the mansion, calling themselves cleaning up after the house guests, but really they were putting together a plan on what the next move was going to be. The two men put their differences aside and planned on making the best out of it.

Before Quick could say another word, he saw Tiffany’s Lexus pull up to the front lawn with a big-ass hole in the front windshield.

“What the fuck!” he said out loud.

Tiffany hopped out the front seat and started running toward him and Lucky, but before she could cover a few feet, a white officer roughly tackled her to the ground.

“Didn’t I tell you to stop running?” The officer punched Tiffany in the face then pulled out a pair of handcuffs.

Quick and Lucky was all over the officer before he even got a chance to put the cuffs on even one of Tiffany’s wrists, attacking and assaulting him, really stomping him out until he was no longer moving.

“You all right?” Quick asked as he helped Tiffany up to her feet.

“Blake is out of jail,” Tiffany said out of breath. “He tried to kill me.”

Just as Tiffany got the words out of her mouth, six cars pulled to a screeching stop in front of the mansion.

“Let’s go inside,” Quick said in a hurried voice, and him, Tiffany, and Lucky ran inside.

“Everything all right?” Goliath asked as him and Major Pain sat on the couch with the ladies.

  “Cops outside,” Lucky announced.

“What happened?” Quick asked, looking at Tiffany.

“I went to the store to get us some breakfast, and Blake crept up on me and tried to kill me. Long story short, I think I killed him instead. I can’t go to jail,” she said, a worried look on her face.

“Don’t worry, baby. Ain’t nobody going to jail,” Quick told her. “Go upstairs and fill as many bags as you can with money, and hurry up!” he said as he watched Tiffany run up the step. “I don’t want to get y’all niggas involved, so y’all can leave out through the back door.”

“Fuck that! We all a family,” Lucky said, loading up an UZI.

“I got warrants, so you already know how I’m going out,” Major Pain said with a smirk on his face.

Goliath smiled as he turned and looked over at the ladies. “Y’all bitches, get the fuck out!” He smacked one of the ladies on her ass as she was leaving.

Tiffany came downstairs carrying two duffel bags full of money. “I’m ready.”

“I need y’all to cover us.” Quick reached in his gun closet and pulled out two TEC-9s. “Cover us, and when we make our move, y’all can make y’all’s escape out through the back.” He gave each man a hug, before him and Tiffany headed over toward the garage.

“Let’s do it,” Major Pain said, and he opened the door and stuck his M-16 out and held on to the trigger as he watched the police scatter for cover as bullets rained.

Seconds later the police returned fire. Major Pain smiled as he took cover and reloaded.

Lucky stuck his UZI out the door and let it rip. He hated the police and tried to take out as many as he could.

Once he took cover, Major Pain stuck his arm out the door and squeezed the trigger, and the assault rifle rattled in his hand.

Just as Goliath went toward the door to get in the gunfight, a bullet ripped through his thigh. “Awwww shit!” the big man growled. But he still cocked round after round in his shotgun and let it rip.

When Quick and Tiffany reached the garage, gunshots could be heard echoing throughout the hallway, followed by the sound of machine gun burst. “Come on, we gotta go,” he said.

“I’m so sorry, baby,” she said as she hugged Quick tightly. Then she tossed the bags in the backseat of the all-black BMW.

“We gotta go, baby,” Quick said as he hopped behind the wheel and waited for Tiffany to join him.

Seconds later, Quick drove straight through the garage door, gaining the attention of every officer that stood outside.

“Come on, you pussies!” he yelled as he swerved into the street on the other side of the mansion. That move gave him and Tiffany about a two-to three-minute head start.

Once Major Pain heard Quick make his exit, he dropped his M-16. “Come on, we gotta go,” he said, and the three men quickly made their way over to the back door. “You gon’ be all right?” he asked, looking down at Goliath’s leg.

Goliath gave him a crazy look. “C’mon. You know it’s going to take more than a punk-ass shot to my leg to stop the god.”

Major Pain looked over at Lucky and gave him a hug. “Be safe,” he said.

“You already know,” Lucky replied. “Let’s all meet up at the strip club down in the Bronx that we always used to go to.”

The three men all shook hands and split up.

Quick tried to drive down backstreets to dodge the cops, but it was no use. It seemed like every cop on the force was after them.

“I’ma pull over and bang out with these pigs,” he said, peeking in his rearview mirror. “That will give you enough time to get away.”

“No, I’m not leaving you,” Tiffany said sternly. There was no way she was going to just leave her man for dead by himself.

“Don’t be stupid. You belong on a island somewhere enjoying that money or—”

“No!” Tiffany said, cutting him off. “I belong to you!”

Just as Quick was about to reply, he felt a cop bump him from behind, and four shots came crashing through the back windshield.

“Put your head down!” Quick yelled as he made a sharp right turn, causin
g the BMW to fishtail a little.

Tiffany reached in the backseat for one of the TEC-9s and shot through the back window, returning fire, getting the police off their ass.

“Get down, baby, and keep your keep your head down,” Quick said, weaving in and out of traffic.

As Quick drove, he noticed a few Good Samaritans on the road trying to help the police box them in. “Move, muthafuckas!” he yelled, and he rammed one of the cars from behind.

Then suddenly, one of his back tires got shot out.

“Fuck! Grab that money and a gun,” he said as he grabbed one of the TEC-9s and stopped the car. “We can’t stay in this car.” Quick hopped out and opened fire on the police, and Tiffany ran inside a sleazy-looking bar.

Once Quick ran out of bullets, he quickly joined Tiffany inside the bar.

“Everybody, out right now!” Quick yelled, and the few people who in the bar scampered without having to be told twice.

“We are fucked,” Quick said, looking over at Tiffany, who had a worried look on her face. “Fuck it!” he said in a defeated tone. “I’m going out the front door. I want you to take that money and go out the back door and never look back.”

“Fuck no!” Tiffany yelled. “If you go out that front door, then I’m going with you.”

“This ain’t for you,” Quick said, looking in her eyes. “You don’t belong here,” he whispered as he kissed her.

Tiffany kissed him back and replied. “I belong to you, and don’t you ever forget that.”

Quick smiled. Never in his life did he ever expect the waitress he had met a while back at IHOP to be his soulmate. “I don’t know what I would do without you,” he said.

“You never have to find out.” Tiffany smiled, but her eyes told him that she was scared and nervous.

Quick grabbed her hands and held them tightly, and he said a quick prayer.

“Amen,” he said when he was done, and him and Tiffany hugged tightly.

“I love you,” Tiffany whispered, her eyes closed.

“Go out that back door please,” Quick begged. “Please.”

“Sorry. No can do. You stuck with me.” She smiled then kissed him one more time.

“Fuck it!” Quick said as he walked over to the bar and poured him and Tiffany a shot. “To us,” he said, and he raised his glass.

“To us,” Tiffany repeated, and the two touched glasses then downed the liquor in one gulp.

Quick grabbed his TEC-9 and placed a fresh clip in the base and headed toward the front door. “I love you,” he said, and he snatched the front door open and ran out firing.

Tiffany was right on his heels, following her man’s lead, shooting at anything moving. Five seconds hadn’t even passed before the police dropped both Quick and Tiffany right out in the middle of the street, riddling their bodies with bullets. More bullets than necessary.

Tiffany’s body dropped and landed right next to Quick’s, and the two lay side by side looking up at the sky, the two of them finally free.

Detective Davis looked down at Quick’s and Tiffany’s bodies and just shook his head. He hated locking people up, but he preferred them in jail than dead any day. He said a silent prayer for the two before walking off, leaving them to rest.

  “I Don’t Think So”

Blake sat on his couch watching Jerry Springer, his face badly scarred from flying through the front window, and he also had a broken leg. He had heard the news about Quick and Tiffany’s murder and didn’t feel sorry for the couple not one bit. He felt they got exactly what they deserved. He was still a little upset, because he wanted the joy of watching Tiffany beg him for her life before he killed her, but once again she had outsmarted him and got away.

“Stupid muthafuckas,” Blake said out loud, shaking his head at the thought. He leaned over to grab the remote, when suddenly his front door was kicked in.

  Blam!

  “What the fuck!”

“You look surprised to see us,” Lucky said.

Lucky smiled as him and Major Pain stood side by side, both men wearing all black, including black leather gloves. And in each man’s hand was a .45 handgun.

“Hey, brothers. What’s this all about?” Blake asked with a weak and nervous grin.

“Quick and Tiffany send their regards,” Lucky said, and him and Major Pain filled Blake’s body with holes and left him laying dead on his living room floor like the trash he was.

“Now they can finally rest in peace,” Major Pain said, and him and Lucky exited the raggedy apartment.
