She wiggled her hips, drew her legs up to place her feet flat on the bed and then spread her knees slightly in hopes he could see her arousal. Instead, he touched her knees sliding his hands down her legs before taking hold of her ankles. She felt him wrap something around them as he further spread her legs. Now she was spread eagle and completely vulnerable. The training has started, and she was ready. In the year they had been a couple, she had never known love and intimacy the way she understood it with him.
She listened intently, but could hear very little. She eventually felt him move on the bed between her legs. In what seemed like an instant, she felt his breath on her labia. It was hot and heavy and again she wiggled. He touched her clit momentarily with his tongue, before slowly lapping from the bottom back to the clit. The sensation of his tongue on her newly shaved pussy was more glorious than she had ever felt. He flicked his tongue in and out and she began to breathe heavier and heavier. She felt herself about to come and then he stopped. The next thing she felt was something cool and flat against her leg. The object moved up to her belly, back down, and then over to her opposite leg.
She couldn’t take it anymore and whimpered to him, “Please.”
“Please what?”
“Please. I want you.”
“What do you want, Janine?” he said barely above a whisper.
“I want you.”
In an instant, she felt a sting on her clit as he tapped her with what she was clearly the crop purchased at Lucille’s.
“No. That’s not right. Tell me what you want.” He ran the crop slowly over her body.
Unsure how to respond in this new state of ecstasy, she racked her brain to find the words that might give her the prize she so desperately wanted.
“I want…I want you to make love to me.”
Apparently she gave the wrong answer because he swatted her again, harder this time. Already swollen with desire, the swats on her clit created a sensation she could only describe as hot and throbbing. It felt as if her blood had nowhere else to go and it ached.
“No. Tell me exactly what you really want.”
She couldn’t believe the words were coming out of her mouth, “Fuck me.” The sound of them surprised her. In response, she felt the sting of the crop on her folds this time before he ran the crop along her inner thighs
“That’s not very polite.”
“Fuck me, please.” Again the crop.
“Who am I?” he asked.
“Fuck me, Michael! I want you to fuck me, please!” she said as she squirmed and fought against the cuffs. The real struggle was in her mind because she was having a hard time fully releasing to him.
“No.” Once more he swatted her even harder.
Completely frustrated, she yelled out, “I don’t know what I’m supposed to say! Please tell me!”
“What are you?” he asked calmly.
She ran their earlier conversations through her mind trying to find the answer he wanted. He was her Dom, and she was his Sub. In the simplicity of the recollection, she calmed herself.
“I am yours,” she said quietly.
“Who am I?”
“Sir,” she said calmly. She felt the crop encircling her clit and he gave it a series of light taps that now felt familiar and exciting.
“Say it again. Louder.”
“I am yours, Sir.”
“Now, tell me what you want.”
“Please fuck me, Sir. I promise I’ll be good.”
She felt him lean in and kiss her on the forehead. It was almost as if all the confusion from before had slipped completely away. She now had sharpness and clarity. She could hear him undressing and his clothes dropping to the floor. Lying beside her on the bed, he again ran the crop over her skin. She felt his free hand on her as he began to lick and kiss her body. He soon returned to her pussy giving it luscious licking, pulling and kissing—and for the first time gentle biting. After each bite, he blew cool air on her clit. Once again, the orgasm rising within her swelled to a level she had never experienced. She felt the body heat from his shoulders and hands between her legs as he wrapped his hands under her ass to lift her further into his mouth. Her body shuddered, ready for release and then he stopped again. She didn’t think she could take much more of his teasing.
“Tell me again what you want,” he said.
This time she knew exactly what to say. And it was far easier. “Please Sir. I want you to fuck me over and over again.”
“Good girl,” he whispered as he slid his dick so deeply within her that she came almost instantly.
As she came, he continued very deep thrusts and then long withdrawals to his tip. Over and over again he fucked her as she asked. She screamed out several times completely lost as orgasmic wave after another engulfed her entire being. He gave one last thrust, burying his face into her shoulder crying out in a way she had never heard from him before as he finally came with her.
Eventually he withdrew from her and slid down towards the foot of the bed releasing her ankles. As she drew her legs in with her knees up, she realized how much they ached from the exertion caused by fighting against the restraints during orgasms. When he released her arms, the same was true for them.
Finally, he took the blindfold off her and kissed her softly asking, “How do you feel?”
“I feel wonderful.” As she spoke, she realized her throat was a bit dry and she was a little hoarse.
“Good.” He smiled and sat next to her stroking her face and shoulders. “Which part did you enjoy the most?”
“All of it.”
“Hmmm.”
She turned to her side so that she could touch him along his stomach and thigh. “Is that what it’s really like?”
“For now,” he said smiling at her.
“I want to do that again,” she said grinning coquettishly.
“Baby steps, Janine. Baby steps,” he said patting her thigh.
“It didn’t hurt me at all. I mean, it stung a lot—but it didn’t hurt.”
“I know. But in time it will hurt—as much as you can stand. It’s my responsibility to figure that out.”
“Yes, Sir.” Slightly coy and little flushed, she turned her head into the pillow after hearing her own voice calling him that.
He smacked her hard on her ass and she let out an “Ouch!”
Then he lay down next to her holding her close saying, “It’s late, let’s go to sleep.”
She was exhausted and before she knew it, she was fast asleep.
CHAPTER 9
It was six o’clock in the morning and Janine was a bit groggy when awakened by the alarm. The eight-hour flight to Belize was leaving a little after eight and she needed to get moving if she was going to make it. Her suitcase was already packed so all she needed to do was wash up, dress, and do her hair. She moved slowly, trying to get her bearings. With all the packing she had done, the one thing she didn’t do was figure out what she was going to wear for the trip. She knew she needed something that could accommodate the shifting environments she’d be in—the moderately cool Indianapolis morning, the cold airport and plane, and the searing warmth of the island. She decided on a pair of Capri pants, a long-sleeved shirt and a spare sleeveless one to have in her large carry-on purse.
After dressing, she debated whether or not to make herself a cup of coffee or pick one up once she cleared security at the airport. Given how she was feeling, she really needed the coffee now. It was already six thirty and took at least twenty-five minutes to get to the airport. She gave herself a little more time by going online and checking into her flight. Being ever practical, she started the single serve coffee maker as the boarding passes printed. She reached in the cabinet and took down one her many travel mugs. She added sugar and creamer to the Nairobi coffee blend she loved so much. Feeling set, she gathered her things, set the house alarm and headed out the door.
The coffee tasted wonderful during her drive. Even though it was almost seven o’clock she still had at
least fifteen more minutes to travel. As she made her way, her cell phone rang. She looked at the dash to see who would be calling her so early in the morning. It was Ethan.
Answering through the car’s system, she said, “Good morning.”
“Good morning, beautiful. I know it’s early, but I figured you were on your way to the airport.”
“Yeah, I am. I’m about fifteen minutes out. I should get there in plenty of time to park and get to the terminal.”
“That’s pretty tight, don’t you think?”
“I printed my boarding passes at home. I’ll be all right as long as security isn’t backed up. It’s a Thursday morning—so it shouldn’t be too bad.”
“Well, I just wanted to say, have a great time with your friends.”
“Thanks.”
“I still don’t know why you didn’t want me to drive you to the airport.”
“You know international flights can be tricky. It’s only a few days and the economy parking fees are reasonable. Besides, don’t you have the boys this weekend?”
“Yeah, but we could’ve worked it out.”
“That’s really sweet, but I’m good. Really. Have a great weekend with the boys and I’ll touch base with you either Sunday night when I get back Monday, okay?”
“Okay, sounds good. Again, have a great time!”
“Thanks! You too!”
The call ended and Janine couldn’t even begin to say how a conversation with Ethan would go when she returned from the island. She had long since believed that some conversations weren’t worth having if the variables were too unknown. Whether professional or personal, this habit saved her a lot of angst. Sometimes it led to other issues, namely being accused of being closed or enigmatic. Although principally known as a charismatic and gregarious personality, she could be just as introverted and distant, the latter traits growing stronger the older she got.
She arrived at the airport’s economy parking lot just shy of seven twenty. It’d take her at least ten minutes to get the waiting shuttle to the terminal, leaving thirty minutes to clear security and make it to the gate. It was cutting things a bit close, but the Indianapolis airport was fairly efficient. With boarding passes in hand, she headed straight to security. Because she traveled so much, she had Transportation Safety Administration pre-check clearance that sped things up considerably in security lines. Her bag was large enough to hold everything she needed for the trip, yet small enough to classify as a carry on. Just as she predicted, the line wasn’t long and she was at the gate by seven fifty-five—plenty of time.
The gate agents were boarding passengers when she arrived for her flight to Atlanta. It was a three and half hour flight with an hour layover before the four-hour stretch to Belize. Once there, she’d catch a ferry to the Cay where the guesthouse was located. When she stepped up to the boarding agent she was informed her seat had been given to a standby passenger. Before she could get upset, the agent also told her she’d been bumped to first class given all her accrued mileage points with the airline. It was a pleasant surprise made even more so when she was handed a new boarding pass for the flight from Atlanta to Belize—also first class.
Janine got to her seat quickly putting her luggage overhead. Comfortably seated, she was offered specialty coffee. Having left her mug in the car, she opted for another cup. Settling in for the next three hours, she pulled out her electronic tablet and set up in-flight WiFi in hopes of catching up on the day’s news and more. She noticed she had several email messages and she was certain most were work related. She didn’t worry about those because she had set up auto message to inform senders she wouldn’t be available. She also found three messages in her personal account—all from her island bound friends and all clearly in a message thread.
The first read:
Hey everyone! Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow! Our little family will be back together after seven years. Let’s make this count and make sure it doesn’t take us another seven to do this! —Dave
The next message from Jamal read:
Daddy Dave strikes again!! Love you, man!
And then there was Kelly’s:
There’s plenty of liquor!!! I’ve been dry too long!!
Janine genuinely loved these people and they were very much her family. She recalled the little quote “Blood is the family you get, Friends are the family you choose” and it certainly applied to this group. Her own family was relatively small. She was an only child and her father died when she was ten. Her mother was the epitome of loving strength, but Janine knew all too well her mother’s vulnerabilities. Their relationship was close not out of necessity, but out of respect and deep love. As she grew older, she came to understand not everyone had this kind of relationship with parents.
Janine reflected on the only time she met Michael’s parents. They were in their final year of the program and the two of them had been a couple for two years. With winter break approaching, she assumed she’d do what she’d always done, drive home to Charlotte to be with her mother, visit with her grandparents and see other relatives who dropped in during the holidays. Much to her surprise, her mother called to let her know she had something else in mind.
“Hi, Sweetie Pie!” her mom said with a hint of excitement.
Janine loved that her mom still called her that even though she was twenty-four years old.
“Hi, Mom! I was going to call this week to let you know when I plan to come home.”
“That’s why I’m calling, Honey. I was wondering if you had other plans.”
“Why in the world would I have other plans?”
With the exception of spring and summer breaks, Janine always went home for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. She couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
“Well, the last time we spoke you were talking so much about this Michael person—I just thought maybe you might have plans with him.”
“No Mom, I don’t have plans with him. He knows I come home.”
“Oh.” Her mother took a long pause. Janine wasn’t entirely sure the source of her mother’s hesitancy until she said, “Well, I’m thinking of doing something a little different this year.”
“Oh, okay. What do you want to do?”
“Well Sweetie, I was planning on going on this cruise with some people from the church.”
“It’s a little late to be making big plans like that mom. Christmas is only a week away and I really can’t afford that right now.”
“Well, I already got the ticket…”
“Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier? I mean, I’m cool with it, but I don’t know if I can really…”
“No, Baby. I got my ticket.”
Janine was taken aback by her mother’s response but then her dismay quickly turned to elation. Her mother deserved this trip. She had sacrificed so much to get her through college without any student loan debt.
“Oh, I misunderstood! That sounds great Mom! Really!”
“I know I should’ve told you about it earlier because we’ve never been apart for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. But Sweetie Pie, you’ve got to keep living your life and find the things that make you happy. I’ve got to do the same.”
It was a little odd for her mother to say that, but Janine quickly understood what she was really telling her.
“Mom, are you seeing someone?”
“Well…”
“Oh, wow! I can’t believe it! Who is he?”
“I’ve been spending a little time with Deacon Jackson lately and …”
“Deacon Jackson? You should be ashamed of yourself! You scoping in the church?” she teased.
“No! I mean…we started spending time together after Bible study and…he’s such a good man, Janine.”
She thought it funny and sweet the words her mom used to describe her dating status.
“If he makes you happy, then I’m more than happy for you! Have a great time! And take lots of pictures!”
“I will! But pr
omise me you won’t sit alone in your apartment for Christmas. At least get yourself a tree and actually decorate the thing.”
“I’ll do my best. I’ve gotta run to class. But call me before you leave, okay.”
“You know I will. Love you, Sweetie Pie!”
“I love you too!”
As their call ended, Janine couldn’t help but be very happy for her. In fact, she couldn’t remember the last time her mother actually went on a date. But the thought of not being in Charlotte for Christmas produced a hint of sadness. To deflect those feelings, she considered going anyway. She figured she’d simply stay at her mom’s house or head over to her grandparents for a while. But deep down she knew it wouldn’t be the same if her mother weren’t there.
Even though her grandparents were in Charlotte, her grandmother simply didn’t enjoy cooking for large groups of people anymore. Janine’s mother took over as family hostess years ago for the holidays. She couldn’t be sure anyone would claim the mantle in her mother’s absence now that she was going on the cruise. She considered doing what her mother suggested instead. She’d buy a little tree to decorate resigning herself to celebrating Christmas alone because Michael planned to be with his parents for the holidays.
CHAPTER 10
Michael called to say that he was stopping by her apartment after his class. Even though they exchanged apartment keys, he always knocked before putting the key in the lock to come into her place. Janine found the ritual strange and told him it wasn’t necessary. But for reasons she didn’t fully understand he did it anyway.
“Hi,” she said as she crossed the room to greet him with a hug and kiss.
“Hey.”
He set his backpack on the floor and kicked off his shoes placing them under the coffee table like he always did. Although they didn’t live together, they had certainly developed behaviors suggesting otherwise. Being in their final year of the program, they only had one class together so they rarely saw each other during the day anymore.
