A Fairy's Embrace Page 6

by Maggie Morton

Soon, Persius was snoring softly, and Caden left the room. He hadn’t gotten the answer he wanted, but he also hadn’t told Persius the whole plan. The poor guy was obviously exhausted – just because he was a fairy, full of magic and such, it didn’t mean a bullet didn’t carry a risk of injury – or worse, death – along with it. Luckily, it hadn’t hit any vital organs, but it had just missed his heart by a few inches. Caden still didn’t know much about magic, but if Vaherena hadn’t arrived just in time … If they hadn’t been able to save him … No, thank God that hadn’t been the case. These thoughts sent him rushing back into Persius’s room, where he could hear his soft, even breaths; where he could clearly see that the man whom he loved was safe, safe and alive. Yes, maybe he didn’t really want to leave Persius’s room after all.

A short while later, Persius woke again. Caden leant forward and kissed him on the forehead. ‘You know, you silly guy, you didn’t let me finish my suggestions for our future. I was thinking that we could spend our workdays on Earth, in my city, and that we could live together there. But if you have the space for me here, we could certainly spend every other minute in Faeyne. We could even come back every night after we’re done at work. Anything you want, anything at all. I just want to be with you.’ Caden’s voice had taken on a touch of desperation – desperation that Persius heard loud and clear.

‘That sounds absolutely perfect. Yes, I would love that, Caden.’

And that was just what they did. Caden and Persius continued to work at the mental health clinic, and Caden moved into Persius’s lovely apartment – after all, fairies have impeccable taste compared to humans, Caden told him. They continued to have incredibly hot sex, both in Faeyne and on earth. And they celebrated their first anniversary by joining as husband and husband, as man and fairy, in a ceremony in Faeyne – fairies were usually much more relaxed about same-sex couples, Caden was happy to learn. And despite all their previous misgivings, Persius’s parents came to celebrate with them, and seemed at least a little bit happy to see Persius had found true love, even if it was with a man, and a human at that.

In Faeyne, though, their home was pretty much perfect, Caden thought – it was made of a large circle of pale blue trees, and had a hole in the roof to stargaze through, and they spent the night after their coupling ceremony staring up through the roof at the stars.

‘This is – perfect,’ Persius said, his head resting on Caden’s chest. He leant over and kissed Caden on the lips, his kiss soft but inviting.

‘I can think of one way to make it more perfect,’ Caden replied. He climbed on top of Persius – now his husband – and ran his fingers through Persius’s hair. Then he grabbed his husband’s hair in his fists, pulling Persius’s head back sharply, and he kissed and nipped his way down Persius’s neck.

Persius gasped sharply, as Caden had suddenly bitten down on his shoulder, sinking his teeth into Persius’s tender flesh. ‘Fuck!’ he gasped again, as Caden’s teeth sank into his other shoulder. ‘You’re being – rough tonight, aren’t you?’

‘Just because we’re married now, it doesn’t mean our sex life has to get boring.’

‘Certainly not,’ and Persius grabbed Caden and flipped them over – now he was the one who was on top.

Happily, neither of them was wearing anything, and even better than that, they’d both checked out as clean at a clinic on Earth. So no condoms were needed either. But lube was still a necessity, so Persius slicked up his cock, then pushed Caden’s knees up toward his chest.

  ‘Ready?’ Persius asked.

‘Always.’ Caden grinned as Persius began to ease his cock into Caden’s ass, Caden’s eyes slowly shutting as each inch of Persius’s cock slid inside. Persius ran his nails down the sides of Caden’s thighs, then began to thrust into him – gently, at first, then with a bit more speed, because yes, just because they were married now, it didn’t mean things had to get dull. And because they were in Faeyne – because they were in the place where Persius’s power was the strongest – they both began to come in mere seconds. But that didn’t mean things were over, that it was time to pull out and go to sleep. No, because they were in Faeyne, it was time for the next orgasm for each of them. And the next.

After they’d both lost count, Caden began to laugh.

‘What … are … you … laughing … about?’ Persius asked him, timing each word to a strong, quick thrust.

‘You won’t be able to guess why, but I fucking love having sex here.’

‘Oh, I bet I can figure it out.’

‘And you know what else I love?’ Caden asked, as he drew close to his umpteenth orgasm of the night.

‘I think I can figure that out as well.’

A few hours later, both of them finally tired. Caden spooned Persius, and soon he was fast asleep. But Persius didn’t want to sleep yet – this night was too precious. It was the first night of his marriage to Caden – his first night as Caden’s husband. Instead of going right to sleep, he turned his head toward the roof, watching the stars and enjoying the feel of Caden’s warm, sleeping body pressed up against him.
