“Brave boy, my brave, dear boy, it’s all over and we can now be together. No more hiding in shadows, no more threats. Just you and...” Peter pulled Phillip’s hand and rested it on his heart.”
Phillip dropped his suitcase and covered Peter’s hand; the missing finger was very noticeable.
“We’ve both been brave...we now have a new beginning, nobody will get between us.” Peter kissed Phillip passionately.
They moved away to the car that was parked to the far side of the road and climbed in. Across the road, partially concealed by a concrete pillar, a large, muscular man dressed in a floral shirt, pink trousers and white loafers, watched them. He could only smile at seeing their reunion. Unbeknown to them, they were both back in his fold, whether they liked it or not.
The watcher pirouetted nimbly considering his physique as his eyes were now drawn to the sparkle reflected from the gold bracelet that ran from his wrist and attached to his fingers. He shook his hand enhancing the effect. Removing his sunglasses his eyes travelled to look at himself in the mirror-like floor to ceiling Arrivals’ Hall windows. A thin smile came to his lips, he was already enjoying wearing these ‘pantomime’ clothes again...they seem to bring out the very worst in him!
