Do You Take This Cat [Wind River Pack 4] (Siren Publishing Classic) Page 10

by Missy Martine

Rennia’s breath caught in her throat as she felt his tongue lap gently between her lips, barely catching her clit. Then, he suckled on the small bud and bit gently. She cried out as she ground her aching slit against his hot tongue.

Pushing up, he moved quickly to tangle his tongue with hers, thrusting gently as he had done into her eager slit. She could taste herself in his kiss. “I want you so badly, Rennia. Please, baby, don’t say no. This one’s gonna be fast, but I promise I’ll make it up to you. I just can’t wait to feel myself buried in your beautiful body.”

When Rennia managed to nod, Ray grabbed one of the condoms he’d laid on her table, moved between her wet thighs and placed the sheathed crown of his erection against her tight pussy. His finger moved to stroke back and forth over her nipple. Smiling, he arched over her prone body, resting his formidable weight in his forearms. With one hard thrust, his big cock was buried fully inside her pussy so deep Rennia felt skewered, so big her pussy felt stretched to its limits.

With a groan, Ray began to move within her. Slowly at first, but gradually quicker as desire and need overtook them, he plunged in and out of her silky sheath. Rennia moaned with each of his fierce thrusts, wrapping her legs around him, urging him on, and meeting his every thrust. Needing more, she pushed her lower body against the hard cradle of his pelvis. Rennia arched her back and screamed.

Deliberately forcing himself to slow down, Ray briefly lifted his head and then slanted his mouth back across hers in a different, somehow more erotic angle. She bucked and cried out her release, her pussy squeezing around his cock as he continued to fuck her hard and fast. He kissed her hungrily as his body eased down and found a slow, sweet rhythm that brought gasps from the mouth he was invading. “Come on, Rennia. I want you to come again. Come for me, baby. Come with me.”

She gasped as he thrust violently into her, powering in and out of her passage, too caught up in his own pleasure to take things any slower. Rennia shuddered and screamed as he rode her, slamming his thick shaft in and out over and over again. He pulled almost all the way out and then drove hard into her again, pinching at her clit, making his woman arch her back higher and scream louder. It was enough to send him over the edge. He held his breath as his released washed over him, his body shooting his semen into the condom.

Rennia closed her eyes and took a shallow breath, struggling to slow her frantic pulse down. Her eyes closed and she let the waves wash over her in succession, glorying in the unbelievable sweet aftermath.

“Bring that ass back down here to me.”

Rennia’s eyes jerked open, and she stared at Ray’s wicked grin. “What are you doing?” she asked.

“I’m not done with you, darlin’.” He helped her turn onto her stomach and then brought her up onto her hands and knees. She looked over her shoulder and watched him discard his condom and roll a fresh one on. He patted her shoulder and moved to kneel between her legs directly behind her. Ray thrust gently inside her, his strokes slow and easy this time. He kept things slow and steady, making her moan as he pulled against the already sensitive inner muscles of her pussy.

“Oh, God,” she groaned. “What are you doing to me?”

“Lay still, baby. Let me make you feel good,” he whispered softly against her neck. She groaned in pleasure, enjoying the feel of his tongue against her neck and the stroke of his cock. He looped his arm around her waist and brought her partially to her knees. It gave him better leverage because each thrust was hitting her sweet spot. Suddenly, he pulled out, flipped her on her back, and quickly thrust back into her tight sheath.

He hooked his arms around her legs and pulled them up higher to bring him into even closer contact. She screamed, drumming her heels on his back, as he kept up the relentless rhythm. He whispered something into her open mouth, but she couldn’t hear him anymore.

Rennia cried out and convulsed around him as she found her release one more time. Her orgasm broke over her in wave after wave. She felt shattered, broken, and so overwhelmed by the force of her release that she was temporarily blind and deaf to all else around her.

Their breathing was hard and labored, both of them gasping and moaning at the intensity of the feelings that were coursing through them. Ray sighed into her throat as he held her and rocked her in his arms in the warm darkness. She slumped back against him, feeling limp and totally satiated.

He brushed the hair out of her face and leaned forward to claim her lips. She felt him relax heavily onto her damp skin. Rennia reached up and touched his face with pure wonder, from his thick eyebrows to his wide, firm mouth and his stubborn chin. He was everything she’d ever wanted in a mate.

Ray reached out to pull her body more securely against his. He curled her against him in an ardent fever of need, feeling her soft breasts press hard into his bare, sweaty, hair-roughened chest as her face burrowed into his throat. Her cheek was against the hard muscle of his upper arm and he caught that elusive scent that clung to her.

“I can still feel your mouth on my breasts if I close my eyes,” she whispered.

Ray lifted his head, his dark eyes gazing down into her flushed face. She looked at him with dazed green eyes, her face rosy in the aftermath of passion, her body faintly marked where his hands and his mouth had explored her. He pressed a tender kiss against her forehead. “Shhh, love. Get some sleep now. We’ll talk in the morning.” As he watched, she gave him a weak smile as her eyes slowly closed. Her relaxed body told him she slept. Stroking her hair, he pulled her into the cradle of his arms. Picking up one of her hands, he kissed her fingers. He could still feel them as she stroked his body.

Shit, what am I supposed to do now? I’ve never felt this way with any woman before. Taking a deep breath, he willed his body to relax. Tomorrow was soon enough to sort out any future plans concerning Rennia. He closed his eyes and breathed in her scent. What am I going to do now?

Aurelia stood at the sliding doors, looking out at the forest beyond their patio. The air was crisp and filled with the smell of dried leaves and pine needles. The sun filtered down to the ground in patterns through the leaves falling from the trees. Autumn had turned the leaves on the poplars and maples beautiful shades of gold and scarlet. She stiffened briefly when Zack’s arms slid around her waist and then relaxed back against his warm, bare chest.

  “What’s wrong, baby?”

She shrugged. “I’m not sure. Something just doesn’t feel right. I think maybe I shouldn’t go tonight.”

Zack slowly turned her around and raised her face up to gaze into her eyes. “You listen to me. Nothing is more important to me than your safety, and I wouldn’t consider taking you to this shindig if I wasn’t completely sure you’ll be safe. Hell, over half the pack is gonna be there. You can’t get any safer than that.”

Aurelia turned to look out the window and focused on Zack’s reflection. “I don’t know why, but I just feel like something’s gonna go terribly wrong, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Zack growled and pulled his cell phone out of his pocket.

Frowning, she turned around to face her mate. “Who are you calling?”

“My brothers. We’re gonna make absolutely sure that nothing goes wrong at this opening.”

Rennia sat at the foot of the bed and watched Ray sleep. Their night together was everything she could have hoped for, but now it was over. I just need to get through the opening tonight, and then I’ll sit down and tell you everything. I swear it! I just can’t take any more stress today. Please, please give me a chance. I’ll make you a good mate. We can be so happy together. She held her breath when Ray turned over. He moved around restlessly and then opened his eyes. “Good morning, sleepyhead.” She tried to sound cheerful.

Ray yawned and blinked twice. “Why are you so far away?” He sat up and scratched his chest. “Why are you dressed?”

  “I
was about to wake you up. I got a call from Jonah. There’s a problem at the produce station, and he can’t straighten it out. I’ve got to be there with my trusty checkbook.” She got up and moved closer to sit next to him. “He’ll be here in a few minutes to pick me up.”

He threw back the covers. “Give me a couple of minutes, and I can go with you.”

Rennia placed her hand on his arm. “No, you can’t. I can’t think clearly when you’re around, and I can’t afford the distraction today. You’ve got to let me work. I need this opening to be perfect. Give me the time I need to work today, and I promise we’ll be together tonight and all day tomorrow.” She clasped his hand in hers. “Please. Will you do this for me?”

Ray sighed. “I understand, but I don’t like it. I guess I can visit with my family today and meet you at the club tonight after it opens.”

She smiled. “That’ll be perfect. I’ll even save you a dance or two.”

Ray pulled her close and bent to take her lips in a scorching kiss. He nibbled on her upper lip, and then ran his tongue teasingly along her lower one. When she giggled, he plunged his tongue inside, taking her breath away. He was just sliding his hand over her breast when a horn sounded from outside.

Rennia pushed against his chest. “I’ve gotta go. That’s Jonah.”

Ray groaned and placed a final kiss on her lips. “I’m beginning to have an intense dislike for your chef.”

Rennia laughed and grabbed her purse as she headed for the door. “I’ll see you tonight. I’ll be pretty busy until late, so take your time coming down.”

Ray said, “Never worry, pretty lady. I’ll be there with bells on.”

Rennia waved a final time and then closed the front door behind her. She waved briefly at Jonah and hurried to get in his truck. Glancing at the house one more time, she said a simple prayer. Lord, please don’t let me lose my mate.

“Hey boss, are you ready for your big day?” asked Jonah.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.”

“You’ve certainly got a lot of support. Your entire family and most of your pack is planning on being there. You couldn’t ask for more support than that.”

Rennia frowned. The whole family is going to be at the club. How am I going to keep Ray away from them before I have a chance to talk to him? She looked at Jonah when he smiled. “What are you smiling about?”

Jonah laughed. “I’m afraid it’s gonna be a really, long evening. We’ve got to keep our sense of humor intact.”

Rennia growled. “You have no idea just how long this day is gonna be.”

  Chapter 9

Kitania glanced around at her daughter’s new club and sighed. It was early, and the place was already packed. The guest band’s country sound was billed as one-of-a-kind and didn’t disappoint. Too bad the closest thing she could compare it to was one of the pack’s pups that had gotten caught under the bottom strand of a barbed wire fence last summer. He’d squealed loud enough to be heard all the way back at the pack house.

She watched Latan take a sip of his beer and sway to the beat of the music. The air was hot and so were her mates. Even after more than twenty years, they still could get her heart pumping.

“Wow,” Ethan said. “That’s quite an entrance the kids are making.”

Kitania turned toward the door and felt her mouth drop open. Her boys, Eric, David, Zack, and Macon, were completely surrounding Laynee and Aurelia.

Latan snickered. “I don’t think they have to worry about anybody messing with the women.”

Ethan shook his head. “I don’t know how, but I swear those boys inherited your tendency to over-dramatize every little thing.” He grabbed Kitania’s hand. “Come on, little mama. Let’s show these youngsters a thing or two on the dance floor.

Laughing, Kitania allowed him to lead her into the throng of party goers. Ethan pulled her tight against his chest, the music and filtered lights turning their awkward bodies into fluid rhythm. He leaned down to place his lips close to Kitania’s ear. “Baby, you’ve still got what it takes. I love dancing with you.”

“You’re just a smooth talker, aren’t you?” She caressed the side of his face with her hand. “You wouldn’t be trying to pick me up, would you?”

“I’ll always be first in the line when it comes to picking you up, little girl. You best plan on coming home with me.”

Kitania glanced at their children and their mates. “What do you think the show of force is about?”

Ethan shook his head. “With this bunch, there’s not much telling. Let’s just enjoy our quiet moment and worry about them when we’re forced to.”

Rennia walked out of the kitchen and placed the plate of nachos in front of the wannabe-cowboy in boots, silver spurs, and a Stetson. She glanced around the room and saw her brothers gathered around two of the side tables. They looked like they were in protection mode the way they enclosed the females of the family. Scanning the room one more time, she made her way through the gauntlet of gyrating bodies to stand at the table where Laynee and Aurelia were holding court.

Zack put his arm across his sister’s shoulder and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Looks like this place is a success, little sister. You should be really proud.” Macon kissed her other cheek while David and Eric raised their beers in a salute.

“You guys are the greatest,” said Rennia. The cell phone in her pocket vibrated. She pulled it out and then frowned.

“Is something the matter?” asked Eric.

“No, not really. My chef is telling me he needs to see me ASAP.” She turned toward the kitchen. “He’s a little dramatic at time, but he sure can cook.”

Aurelia touched Rennia’s arm. “Well, hurry back when you can. You should be able to relax for a minute and enjoy your accomplishment.”

“I promise I’ll be right back.”

Zack stepped away from the table. “I’ll be back in a minute. I’m gonna check out the restroom.”

Rennia hurried to the kitchen and found her chef holding his bleeding hand over the sink. “What the hell happened, Jonah?”

His young son came rushing out of the small bathroom with a wad of paper towels in his hand. “Hi Miss Rennia,” said Jeff. “My dad kind of had an accident.”

“I see that.” She turned her attention back to Jonah and pushed his hand under the cold, running water. “Again, what happened?”

Large tears rolled from Jeff’s eyes. “It was my fault. He didn’t know I had come in the back door, and I scared him. Is he gonna be okay?”

“Of course,” said Rennia. “He’s gonna be fine. As a matter of fact, he’s gonna be better than new.” She moved closer to Jonah and lowered her voice. “Send Jeff back to the trailer, and I’ll bring somebody back here that can heal that for you with no problems, but Jeff can’t be around to see her do it.” They’d parked his trailer behind the club so the boy would have a place to rest when Jonah was working.

Jonah frowned, and then turned to smile at his son. “Jeff, I need you to go back to the trailer. You can put in a movie or play your video games, but you can’t stay in here while I’m cooking. You could get Miss Rennia in a lot of trouble if anyone caught you back here.”

The boy’s eyes grew large as he moved quickly toward the back door. “Sorry, Miss Rennia. I’ll be good and go home.” He turned and grinned at his father. “I’ll see you later, Dad.”

Rennia patted Jonah’s shoulder. “You stay here, and I’ll be right back.” She left him holding a towel over his hand in an effort to stop the bleeding. She needed him to be able to function during the opening or she’d be in a world of hurt. Her expertise in the kitchen consisted of Pop-Tarts and coffee, and sometimes she ruined the coffee. “Hopefully, Aurelia won’t mind doing me a favor.”

She made her way to her family’s table and touched Aurelia’s shoulder. She leaned in close. “Can you come with me to the kitchen? My cook has managed to cut his hand pretty badly, and he’s the only cook I have.” Rennia looke
d around the table. “Where’s Zack?”

Aurelia nodded toward the other side of the club. Zack stood in the midst of some old school friends along with David and Eric.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to take off, Aurelia,” said Macon. “Zack will have my head if I let you out of my sight, and I can’t go off and leave these other lovely ladies alone.”

Rennia patted his arm. “Don’t worry, brother. I won’t let her out of my sight. We’re just going to the kitchen so she can help Jonah, and then I’ll bring her right back. I won’t leave her alone for a second.”

Macon took a deep breath and pressed his lips together. He looked at his watch, and then glanced around, clearly uneasy. Finally, he sighed. “Go ahead, Aurelia. Rennia will keep you safe.”

Ray walked through the door of Wyoming Wildlife’s Bar & Grill and grinned when he spotted Rennia walking through the crowd toward the kitchen. She wore a witchy silver and crystal pleated dress that fell in layers to just below her knees. She’d let her brown hair waft loosely around her shoulders, straight and heavy, and she wore sexy little high-heeled sandals on her feet. She was a walking sex-on-a-stick, and he couldn’t wait until he could take her home. He started toward the bar and tensed when a tall, broad-shouldered man stepped in front of Rennia, then relaxed when she smiled and stepped in close to give him a hug.

“Well hello, stranger. Fancy seeing you here.” Ray turned when his sister laid her hand on his arm. Kati gave him a sly grin. “Are you looking for somebody in particular?”

“Yeah, I’m here to see the owner of the place. She invited me to the opening. What are you doing—”

Latan walked up, a definite scowl on his face. “Hello, Ray. I’m surprised to see you here. You’ve been keeping a pretty low profile since you and your dad flew out.” He smiled down at Kati. “I know your sister has been disappointed that you haven’t spent more time with us.” Latan nodded toward a couple of tables across the room where several members of Kinnith and Synia’s family were gathered. “I’m glad to see you decided to join us tonight.”
