Stud_A Motorcycle Club Romance Page 10

The other passengers filed slowly off once they had retrieved everything from the overhead bins, leaving the plane eerily quiet. Butch must have said something to the stewardess because she came back to their seats with a smile. “I just wanted to let you know that we have some time before we have to take off again, so you can stay here for a while until it’s safe. We’ve closed the door, so even if they get past security at the terminal, nobody can get in.”

“Thank you. I appreciate that.” Lola let out a breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding. The fans shouldn’t have bothered her so much, and maybe they wouldn’t have if one of them hadn’t tried to shoot her before. But having just one extra person on her side made a big difference.

The stewardess leaned down, her eyes bright. “I’m not supposed to ask, but could I have your autograph? It’s for my daughter. She loves you!”

Lola wanted to ask just how old this daughter was and if she really ought to be listening to songs like she sang, but she just smiled and nodded. “Of course.”

As soon as that was taken care of and the stewardess had returned to the front of the plane, Chris came around from his seat and gestured with his head for Brittany to get up. “I need to work out the plan with Lola, if you don’t mind.”

Brittany shrugged and moved across the aisle, leaving Chris free to sit down right next to Lola. It was a sudden habit of his that was beginning to drive her crazy. “You should have just gone with Butch.”

“Testy, testy,” he clucked. “I couldn’t exactly leave you here all by yourself. We know what happened the last time.”

“What do you want?” Lola didn’t have the time or the energy for this.

“You know exactly what I want. I thought I’d see if you’d thought about it anymore.” His eyes were intense, and he leaned over so that his face was only a few inches from hers.

She leaned away. “I haven’t,” she replied, “because I already told you the answer is no. There’s nothing to think about.” She should have fired him as soon as he’d explained his plan to use her. Even if he actually loved her as he claimed, they shouldn’t be working together. But she was stuck with him for the moment.

“I can see how you might have thought that before, but the circumstances have changed now.”

“How so?” Lola felt a wave of horror wash over her. Had he figured out she was pregnant? Was he going to propose that they claim the baby was his? She felt nauseous all over again.

“Just look out the window.” Chris gestured behind her, where a crowd was still fighting hard to get her attention. “You’ve got fans galore here, but it’s not as crazy as it is back in LA. This would be the perfect place to debut our relationship.”

“What did you just say?” Brittany had just shot out of her seat and back across the aisle. She stood over them with her jaw open. “Lola, why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because it’s not true.” She slapped Chris on the arm. “See what you’re doing? You’re already spreading rumors about me without even trying.”

“You can’t blame her if she sees something between the two of us,” Chris argued. “Everyone else does. We’ve got good chemistry together. Stop fighting it.”

“I’ll fight it as long as I have to.” Lola stood up, inching around Chris and charging down the aisle of the plane.

The stewardess came out of the cockpit, lines of worry around her smile. “Excuse me, Miss Lennox, but we haven’t yet received word that it’s safe for you to de-board.”

“I appreciate your concern, but I’m getting off this plane if it’s the last thing I do. Please open the door.” She stood with her shoulders back and her chin out, her feet planted solidly on the floor. She didn’t feel very confident, but she could act like it.

“If you’re sure.” The uniformed girl swiftly undid the hatch and let her out.

Lola was only alone in the loading bridge for a moment before Chris and Brittany came tumbling out of the plane behind her. They shouted at her, but Lola only walked faster. She strutted right toward the crowd that waited in the terminal. They would all see her, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. This was just her life now. Security personnel fought to keep the crowd in control but Butch was nowhere in sight. No matter. This wasn’t such a big town that she couldn’t handle it herself. Hell, she probably knew half these people.

But as she tried to shove her way through the crowd, Lola realized that she just might be wrong. They pressed in around her, waving cameras and autograph books in her face. Nobody had any consideration for personal space or the fact that she was a person, too. They weren’t nearly as respectful as the original gathering at The Dive had been, which just went to show how her fame had skyrocketed. And the crowd seemed endless, with every square foot of floorspace taken up by fans. Security at a small-town airport wasn’t enough to handle this, and she had been foolish to think she would be fine with just the two bodyguards and a half-assed disguise.

Suddenly, Lola noticed a friendly face in the crowd. It was a familiar one, and he wasn’t clamoring for her attention. He stood aloof near the far wall of the terminal, leaning back with his arms folded across his wide chest. She would recognize that dark hair and those faded tattoos anywhere. But the fans closed in around her even as she tried to work her way toward him, and she lost sight of Bishop.

Chris and Brittany were nowhere near her. Chris had probably stopped to sign autographs, whether the fans wanted him to or not. Brittany was a tough girl and she would be all right. Lola just needed to get free of the crowd before it crushed her.

A strong hand took her elbow. She jerked her arm to get free, but when the grip refused to let go she looked up into Bishop’s eyes. “Come with me.”

Lola couldn’t hear the words, but she understood them as they came from his lips as though he had spoken directly into her mind. As he pulled her close and pushed through the chaos, the people parted before him like a sea. It was then that she noticed bikers stood on either side of them, their big bodies forming a channel through the rabid teens and giving them a clear passage to the door. Lola grinned at them as they flashed by, Bishop’s footsteps carrying her faster and faster until they burst through the glass door and out into the fresh air of Rolling Hills.

A herd of motorcycles waited outside, the bikers on them revving their engines. Bishop escorted her to a gunmetal gray ride at the center of the crowd, threw his leg over, and held out his hand. “Are you coming?”

She didn’t have to think about it. She didn’t stop to wonder what had happened to Butch or if Chris was still following her. Lola threw her leg over the back of the bike and settled in behind him. She felt the engine roar to life underneath them as she wrapped her arms around Bishop’s trim waist. They were surrounded by Cobra Kings as they made their way out of the parking lot and onto the highway, the roar of them buzzing around her. Lola had never felt so free in her entire life as she clung to Bishop.

  Chapter Fifteen

  Bishop

Bishop hadn’t been certain whether or not he should believe the rumors that Lola was coming back to town. After all, her last experience here hadn’t exactly been a good one. Nevertheless, he had put his plan together. If he knew she was coming, then there was no doubt everyone else did, too.

Fortunately, he had a lot more force at his back than the security guards at the airport did. His plan had gone more smoothly than even he imagined it would. Lola’s bodyguards probably would have thrown a fit if they had seen the Cobra Kings there, but the crowd had been plenty of cover for them.

Now, he had exactly what he had hoped for. He was on his bike with the wind in his hair and Lola pressed against his back. She had tried to change her appearance so that she didn’t look like a celebrity, but he would have known her if she had been wearing a burlap sack and flip flops. There was no disguising the curve of her lips, the arch of her brows, or the way she glided through a room. Her breasts jiggled pleasantly against him when they went over a small bump in the road, a
nd he sure as hell hoped she was wanting the same thing he wanted.

Once they had made their way out of town, Bishop raised his right hand with two fingers in the air. The Kings knew the signal and they fell back, letting their leader shoot off from the rest of the pack. The road took a gentle fork. The Kings went left toward the freeway, but Bishop went to the right.

Trees bent over the road here to form a green canopy. He slowed down a little, wanting to enjoy the experience. Bishop had accidentally found this little trek when he had been out for a joyride, but at the time he had had no use for it.

There was a lot he wanted to say to Lola, but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to form the words for most of it. Half of them would be lost in the wind from the bike anyway, and so he kept them to himself until he pulled off onto a dirt road that burrowed into the woods. It wasn’t the sort of place he would normally bring his bike, and he would probably have to spend several hours cleaning all the dust off it later, but he hoped it would be worth it.

He stopped when they reached a small clearing and helped Lola off the back. “I wasn’t sure if I should believe it when I heard you were coming back to town,” he started.

“Did you miss me?” she asked demurely. The wind had pulled small strands out of her bun, and she reached up to pull out the bobby pins. When she had retrieved them all, her blonde locks came tumbling down around her shoulders. She looked like a wood nymph, all light and innocence.

“That depends.” He moved toward her, setting his hands on her waist and fighting the urge to tumble down with her onto the pine needles that formed a thick flooring here. “Did you miss me?”

Lola bit her lip and smiled. “I did.”

“Good, because I sure as hell missed you. This town has been so boring without you.” Unable to resist any longer, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, moving down her jawline to her throat.

“What? There aren’t any other abandoned starlets in the Magnolia Blossom Hotel for you to seduce? I find that so hard to believe.” Her soft laugh blended with the sigh of the breeze in the leaves that surrounded them.

“If there are, they aren’t like you.” Bishop had missed her, and he had admitted that. But there was so much more. He had craved her, needed her in the middle of the night so badly that even drinking couldn’t drive the feeling away. There was nothing to compare to the softness of her body or the feel of her tongue against his. He wanted to tell her how he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her, but his actions would just have to serve instead of his words.

Bishop pulled her shirt over her head, exposing those gorgeous breasts of hers. She wore a pale pink bra with lace around the edges, so innocent looking, and yet he knew that what they were about to do was far from innocent. He dove into her cleavage, pulling aside the cups of the garment to press his kisses on each full mound.

Lola moaned and pressed herself against him. “Believe it or not, LA is pretty boring, too,” she admitted between gasps. “Everyone there is so fake.”

He had been working on the clasp of her jeans, and as he wiggled them down over her hips and drank in the sight of her half-naked body, Bishop felt his urges completely taking over his mind. “Don’t worry. I’ll be the real man that you need.” He pulled her down onto the ground with him, determined to make love to her all day and all night if he could.

She was undressing him just as eagerly. His boots flew off into the tree line, and the naked skin of her stomach pressed against his. She was warm and sweet and just what he needed. Reaching behind her back, he unclasped her bra and let those gorgeous breasts free. Bishop was ready to pierce her and relive their evening at the hotel, but she wouldn’t let him.

Lola pushed her hands against his chest, grinning. “I want to let you know just how much I missed you,” she said as she moved down between his legs. Her lips traced his chest, his abs, and the trail that led to his package before she closed them around the tip of his cock.

He let his head thump softly into the pine needles, his body melting she slipped her lips down onto his base. “Holy shit, that feels good.” Her mouth was just as hot and wet as her pussy had been last time, except now there was the added benefit of her tongue as she pressed it up and down the back of his shaft. What’s more was that she seemed to be enjoying it.

Proving that point before he could bring it up, Lola let go of him with her mouth and leaned forward, putting his dick up through the softness of her breasts. She rubbed herself up and down on him, and Bishop melted into her softness. The effect was only increased when she bent her head forward and began sucking on him again, with those glorious tits still wrapped around his cock.

He thought he might come right on the spot, but he wanted to enjoy every bit of this. Involuntarily, he bucked his hips against her, his dick sliding in and out of her mouth and his balls slapping into her breasts. Bishop growled, enjoying this far too much, and pulled Lola up on top of him once again. “You keep going on like that and you’re not going to get what you need.”

“Trust me,” she whispered in his ear as she sank down on top of him, pushing her tight pussy down on his throbbing member, “I am.”

It was impossible that this woman could be so sweet, so generous, and yet have such a sharp tongue when she wanted to. Bishop had watched a few of her videos after she had returned to California, and he completely understood why every schoolboy was fantasizing about her. Fortunately for him, he had Lola Lennox all to himself.

Lola rode him like a rodeo queen, gliding up and down as her globes slapped him softly in the face. Bishop took one nipple into his mouth, sucking hard as he squeezed the other one. He couldn’t touch her enough, and he brought his free hand down the gentle curve of her ribs and waist until it rested in the fold between her ass check and her upper thigh, feeling the movement of her muscles as she worked on him.

“You feel so good,” she whispered. “I thought about you all the time while I was gone. I just needed you inside me again.”

“Right where I belong,” he replied, shoving his hips upward and making her gasp with pleasure. He still didn’t have enough of her. Bishop released her breast and moved his hand up to her silken hair, gently grabbing a handful of it and bringing her face down to his. He plundered her mouth with his own, sucking at her lips and claiming her with his tongue. Bishop tightened the hand on her buttock, squeezing the soft flesh. She was his, and he had to make her understand that.

Lola moaned, the vibrations shivering down his tongue and straight to his crotch. She had already set him on fire, and he would let her burn him right to the ground. Bishop’s balls tightened against her slick undercarriage, his girth expanding. Lola moaned again, her own body responding to his. He felt the undulating waves of her core begin, demanding that he give her everything. They moved in unison, their hips locked and their tongues twisted together as he filled her with everything he had. Bishop felt the past month of tension flow out of him as he released, his muscles finally able to relax once again.

As they lay panting on the forest floor, Bishop knew he should get up, get dressed, and get her back into town. The press and the fans would only follow the gang of Cobra Kings for so long before they figured out that he and Lola weren’t with them. While he doubted they would ever find them here, out in the middle of nowhere, he didn’t want to compromise Lola’s reputation by being found naked in the woods with her.

But she felt so wonderful, even just lying in his arms with the warm skin of her cheek pressed against his chest, that he never wanted to move again. In a way, they had more time together now than they had at the hotel, and there was no reason not to take advantage of it. Bishop let his fingers drift up and down the length of her back, her eyelashes fluttering against him. She was tiny and safe in his arms, and he wanted to keep her that way.

“Lola,” he said after a moment, his voice breaking the near-silence of their secret spot, “have you figured out who might be leaking information about you?” It was the wrong thing to say after s
uch passionate sex, but as long as someone out there was betraying her, he wouldn’t be able to get it off his mind.

Fortunately, she must have understood. She didn’t get angry at him for bringing it up, but just let out a long sigh that tickled his chest hair. “Not really. I’ve been doing my best not to think about it, and it seems like the crowds are just part of my life now.”

  “What do you mean?”

“You should see how it is back in Hollywood. People are just everywhere. It doesn’t matter where I go. When I did that interview on television, there was such a crowd outside the studio that I wasn’t sure I would ever get in. It’s only a matter of time before they figure out where I live, and I don’t know if the security wall will hold them out for long.”
