Undressed At Sea: A Psychological Thriller (Drew Stirling Book 2) Page 13

by Jayden Hunter

He picked her up and set her in his lap. He was strong, and with her being so light, he could move her around with ease, as if she was modeling clay. She was going to have bruises tomorrow, but she didn’t mind. She was in that kind of mood. They kissed and caressed each other, and he only stopped for a moment to help her remove her dress. He looked at her breasts when she took off her bra and then bit one of her nipples.

“God, not so fast with the teeth. Work up to it,” she said.

He didn’t answer and vigorously sucked a nipple.

Fucking boys. Goddamn, I’m reminded once again why I like married men. They are always so fucking grateful.

He slid off his jeans and underwear while she straddled his hips. His cock was enormous.

Drew whispered, “Condom and lube. And you’ll have to be gentle.”

He got up without saying a word and went into a bedroom. She wondered where he’d gone, but he called out to her a moment later.

  “Come in here.”

Drew got up and walked naked to the bedroom.

He’d lit candles and had a dim lamp on the nightstand.

He stood to meet her and took her hand. He guided her to the bed which had been stripped of everything except for a pillow, a bottle of lube, and a condom. He kissed her. He was tender and slow this round as if he’d decided to run a marathon instead of a sprint. He directed and led her to the corner of the bed. She was on her back, and he lifted her legs. He picked up the condom, unwrapped it, and then rolled it over himself. He squeezed out lube, then entered her and thrust.

She yelped. “Go slower, please. You’re big for me.”

“You like that, don’t you? My big fucking cock?”

  “Yeah, just go slow.”

He slowed, but he was still hitting the top of her vagina, he was too long. When a well-built man was considerate, Drew had no problems. But with her petite frame, a well-endowed man who wasn’t considerate would leave her unable to walk properly for days. Maybe a one night stand was a bad idea. Drew suggested he flip her over. If they fucked doggie style she’d have more control, not being pinned to the bed.

He helped her change positions and placed his hands on her ass. “Oh, yeah, baby. I’m going to fuck you now. You like this? You like this? You got a big ass cock in your pussy now, don’t you?”

Drew began to wish she was home with her vibrator. Maybe I’ve been premature in my decision to forgo married men. Or at least older men? Live and learn.

He slid her further up the bed.

She could tell he was fiddling with something on his dresser.

  “What are you doing?”

“Just some more lube, baby. I want to put it in your ass.”

“Oh, fuck no. I’m drawing the line there. No.”

“Okay, baby. Drew the supermodel. I’ll just put it back in that sweet hole.”

Drew felt him enter her again, but this time, she didn’t feel his hands. Just his dick. He seemed to have slowed down and at least he wasn’t hurting her. Maybe she could cum and then go home. The night wouldn’t be a total loss. She reached back and started massaging her clit. She was going to make this work for her too.

“Oh, yeah, I’m fucking Drew Stirling. The supermodel. Oh, yeah I am. Here’s her sweet pussy, right there.”

It sounded like he was talking to someone else and she turned her head around to look at him.

  He was holding a minicam.

Drew screamed. “You fucking prick. Give me that camera.”

  “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“What do you mean, What’s wrong? You fucking idiot. You can’t film someone without asking.”

Drew stood up and went to pick up her clothes. As she was getting dressed, she told him she was calling the cops if he didn’t erase what he’d just filmed.

“God, you fucking bastard,” she said.

“Go ahead, bitch. Call the cops. I’ll have it uploaded to the cloud before they get here. I’ll tell them you agreed to it and then changed your mind afterward. He said. She said. In the meantime, it’ll go viral. If you fucking quit being such a prude about it, I’ll keep it to myself and a few friends. Quit being upset. Come back to bed. I’ll put the camera away.”

  “Are you fucking nuts?”

“Quit being sore. I’m sorry. Come here.”

Drew didn’t know if he was serious. Did he really think she was going to get back into bed with him? Was he that insane?

“Give me the camera,” she said.

“I’m not giving you my camera. If you’ll quit worrying about it, I’ll promise you I won’t spread it around. Okay?”

“No, it’s not okay. It’s a complete invasion. I’m calling the cops.”

He walked to his desk, opened his laptop, pushed a few buttons on the camera, and set it down. He looked back at Drew and smiled.

He was not kidding, she realized. He’d already uploaded it to a cloud storage. She was screwed. If she called the cops, she’d only bring more attention to herself. They had been drinking, and nobody would know for sure whether she’d agreed to be filmed or not. And it wouldn’t matter anyway. The damage would be done. Everyone knew how fast something could go viral, especially sex tapes of any woman who was even remotely famous.

Calling the cops would make a bad situation worse.

  “Okay, you win. Asshole.”

“You coming back here? Let’s not waste the night. I’m sorry. Come here and I’ll erase the video.”

Drew knew it was too late. If he was willing to erase it off the camera, it meant it was already uploaded to his computer and the cloud. She was foolish sometimes, but she wasn’t stupid. She’d cut her losses.

She left without saying another word. With any luck, he hadn’t got a good shot of her face. If that was the case, she could plausibly deny that it was her in the first place. Fucking men. I think I officially hate them.

Drew started walking home. She had only been walking for ten minutes when she heard someone call her name.

  CHAPTER TWENTY

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?

  ~ William Shakespeare

My favorite film genre is South Korean Revenge. You didn’t know that was a thing, did you? Better than Hollywood, in my opinion, because Koreans take both hospitality and revenge more seriously than Americans. They are two sides of the same coin: you are going to be paid back with either an abundance of kindness or as much pain as you deserve.

  ~ Chelsea Park

Drew decided it was a lesson learned. It wouldn’t matter next week, so why fume? Deep breath, deep breath, and walk. The fresh night air cleansed her lungs, and she imagined stepping through a screen that would sieve the dirtiness of the evening out of her body.

  “Drew.”

It was a familiar voice that broke her concentration.

She turned her head and saw Professor Mills. Ryan. It had been a couple of months. She walked over to his car and stuck her head in the window. Deja Vu.

“Hi, Ryan. What are you doing out so late? And why are you in this neighborhood?”

“I was about to ask you the same thing.”

“I was at a party with an asshole, so I left. I’m getting some fresh air before I get an Uber.”

“I’m out cruising around, same as always. I hit a couple bars. I thought I’d go out on the boat. Maybe go fishing.”

“Well, good night.” She walked away.

  “Wait a minute,” he said.

  Drew stopped.

“I thought you weren’t going to be walking around late at night like this. All alone. It’s still not safe.”

“There haven’t been any more missing women. I feel safe enough. And I only planned on walking up the street a bit, not that far, before I got an Uber. I’ll be fine. Honest.”

“I wanted to apologize for last time,” he said. He sounded sincere. “Come on; I
’ll give you a ride home.”

She opened the door without thinking. What the hell, the night was fucked up anyway. She wanted company all of a sudden. She hadn’t had enough time to meditate while walking and she was still pissed off. And she was frustrated, instead of getting laid, she got screwed. She was cranky and irritable, so having someone to talk to, to vent, was a relief.

“You fucking won’t believe what just happened. Fucking men. Are you all pigs?”

“I hope not. I don’t think so. Why? What happened? Are you okay?”

  Drew told him the story.

“Holy shit. You want to press charges?”

“No. What would they charge him with anyway? He’d say I consented. It’s not like I don’t have a bunch of nudes out there already. It doesn’t matter. I’m pissed off at him for being a fucking dick, but I don’t care about the video. It’s not worth the headache.”

“I’m sorry, Drew. That shouldn’t have happened.”

“Yeah, thanks. Boys. Oh, there, take that left.”

Ryan pulled over to the curb. He looked at her.

“Drew, you ought to unwind. Come have a smoke. A drink. I’ll be good. No video, I promise.”

He sounded kind. Sincere. And she knew he was a good listener.

“I don’t know,” she said. “The last time you didn’t take my I’m not going to sleep with you pronouncement seriously. I don’t want to be a tease.”

“Look, you’re a beautiful woman. You know this. I’m not blind. Of course, guys are going to try to push you, but I’m really sorry about last time. I should have taken you more seriously. I don’t think you’re a tease. You’re straight forward. I like that about you. You have to admit; I was a complete gentleman last time. You said no and I brought you home. I get that you’re not into me. Let’s just talk, and you’ll feel better.”

“I don’t know. It’s not that you’re not a decent guy and attractive, but you’re married. I made a deal with myself. That’s all.”

“Okay, pretend for a minute I was single. Would you go?”

“After what just happened with that stupid kid? Sure. All he did was wind me up and then piss me off.”

“So, you’re in the mood to talk to a friend. To relax. To get this asshole out of your mind. So, we’ll agree ahead of time, no sex. Just friendly conversation.”

Drew pondered his invitation with the patience of a child opening birthday gifts. “Okay. I’m too awake to go to sleep now anyway.”

  “Excellent.”

  ...................

It wasn’t too late at night when they boarded, so it didn’t take much to convince Drew to agree to leave the marina and go out to sea. It was more peaceful a few miles out. The gentle movement caused by the waves outside the marina was soothing. They motored out of the harbor and then smoked, drank wine, and talked.

“What’s your wife think of you going out all the time alone to fish or whatever?”

“She’s a good sport. We’ve been together since college. It’s good for us to spend some weekends apart. Actually, she works at a hospital, she and Kyle’s wife, sorry to bring her up, they work together. She’s often scheduled to work weekends. I think she likes it. Usually, I only come out here for the whole weekend once a month. Give or take. I bring home fresh fish, and she’s happy. I think it’s good for us to have separate hobbies. She’s in a book group and does charity work. I fish. I need the time to myself for thinking.”

“What if she knew you were bringing out young coeds and hitting on them?”

“Oh, fuck, yes. She’d be pissed about that. For sure. But, well, if it’s safe sex, it’s like masturbating to porn. It’s not like I’m going to leave her because some woman got me off out here on the ocean. I’m not taking anything from her; I’d be out here alone regardless. She doesn’t like the boat. She gets seasick. So, for the record, if you change your mind.”

He raised his glass and winked, like Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street.

“I’m not changing my mind. But, thanks for the offer. Asshole.”

He laughed at her, and she laughed too. They were buddies now.

After they’d been underway for forty-five minutes, Ryan killed the engines.

“We can drift out here for a while. Watch the stars. You want to swim?”

“You can swim out here? Aren’t there sharks and whales and shit?”

“Of course, you can swim. Once the water is over your head, it’s all the same. But I’m joking. It would be the scariest fucking thing you ever did.”

  “Sharks?”

“Maybe. But that’s not what’s scary. Being in the dark open ocean out here, you’d panic. It’s scary. And even though the water is warm enough to swim in, it’s not Hawaii here. It’s still cold. You’d start to shiver, and then your mind would go into panic mode. If you didn’t have a boat to climb onto right away, you’d almost certainly drown.”

Drew was silent. She was contemplating the word drown. Drowned in a creek. It was a fate she almost suffered.

“I’m sorry to bring up drowning. I know a little about your past,” he said.

“It’s okay. I’m mostly over it. I can’t go back there every time I hear the word drown or think about the water. It makes me sad for my friend. I’m still an excellent swimmer, but I’ll stick to the pool or the shore break.”

“Good idea. You want another glass of wine?”

“You are trying to seduce me. Aren’t you?”

“Only if you want,” he said as he filled her glass.

  Drew didn’t answer.

On the one hand, she felt a burning desire to lie down next to someone and be held. She was still upset about the video incident. She really wanted to feel caring arms around her.

On the other hand, she knew it wouldn’t be fair to ask Ryan to hold her in bed and then not give in to sex. And she didn’t want to have sex with him. She was pretty sure of that. No more affairs with married guys.

They talked more. Drew told him about her time in the mountain cabin and in the forest when she thought her life would end.

“I was so scared. I didn’t know who this man was. He said he was connected to Congressman Boyd, and he claimed he wasn’t going to hurt me. He kept saying, Put down your gun, but I didn’t trust him. Lucky for me. I’m positive he killed my friend Marc. Even though the official cause of his death was drowning. I’m sure that man staged the whole thing. The car accident. The drowning. His plan was to put me in the same car and make it seem like a terrible tragedy, but I’ll never be able to prove it.”

“At least you were in a forest and had somewhere to run. If you’d been on a boat like this, there’s nowhere to go.”

“I’m a good swimmer, I’m sure I could make it to shore,” Drew said.

But she was joking, and she laughed at herself. She knew that she’d been lucky when she’d run from the cabin, she had somewhere to go.

“What was it like?” he asked. “What was it like knowing you might be killed? It seems like surviving that would make you strong and confident. Like a hero.”

“Yes, in many ways it did,” she answered. “It changed my life in a lot of ways. I’ll never be pushed around again; that’s for sure. Having someone try to kill you is about the limit when it comes to shitty things people can try to do to you. So now, with little things, I can stand my ground. Like when someone takes a video without my knowledge. Yes, it pissed me off, but it’s not like he was trying to murder me. So, it’s easier to deal with. I’m not happy that someone tried to kill me, obviously, but you’re right, it changed my life. I’m stronger now.”

Drew thought about all the other things it had done. How it had made her an adult with her parents. They couldn’t treat her like a child anymore, ever. It allowed her to set out and seek her own life on her terms. It had been the catalyst for coming to San Diego. She was metamorphosing into the woman she’d dreamt of being for so many years.

“I’m really happy these days,” Drew said. “My
biggest sadness is my friend. He shouldn’t have been killed. I can’t change that; however, it’s done. I sometimes fantasize about revenge. But I know that’s probably not a healthy path. Probably.”

“What more revenge could you want? Didn’t you kill the guy?”

“Yes, I killed the thug. But he was a hired thug. Congressman Boyd got off easy. He only lost his political power; he didn’t get charged with murder.”

“So sometimes you think you’d like to get revenge on him?”

“Sure. He sent someone to kill me. Even though he denies this adamantly, of course. I know the truth. Maybe someday the opportunity will present itself. Revenge is a dessert best served cold and unexpected, after all. So, we’ll see. A good friend of mine introduced me to Korean revenge films. So, yeah, the thoughts roll around in there. In my head. Payback.”

  “You mean like the movie?”

“Oh, no. I didn’t mean that. But sure, I like that film, too. I guess it’s part of our essence as humans, wanting justice, payback, you know, revenge for what’s been done to us.”

“I can respect that. I guess it’s part of how we evolved in tribes. If a caveman didn’t get thumped on the head for bad behavior, well, he’d consider it risk-free easy living to take whatever he wanted.”

“Yeah, exactly. You know, I have a quote, it’s actually something my dad taught me.”

  “What’s that?”

  “I don’t get mad. I don’t get even. I get ahead.”

“Smart. Your dad, he’s a good guy?”

She spoke in a light-hearted tone, “No, he’s a dick.”

  “My father...”

  “Not a nice guy?”

“I don’t even really like talking about him. I don’t want to detract from the trauma you faced being stalked by a killer, but imagine living with someone who wanted to kill you every day.”

  “Your father was that bad?”

“Not in the way it sounds. He didn’t literally try to kill me daily, but he did murder me. Daily. A little bit each day of my childhood my father poisoned me.”

  “I’m sorry.”
