Night Time Rendez-Vous: 3 sizzling novellas that will keep you up all night Page 26

She rises to her feet and surrenders to my will, walking backward until the small of her back presses against the hood of the car.

“I can’t,” she whispers, looking at her feet.

“You can and you will.” I press her against the cool metal.

“No.” Her eyes dart over to the open garage door, and my heart sinks. Maybe she’s not into this. Maybe I’ve overstepped. “Not with the door open. I need you to close it.” She nods to the big red button on the wall.

“Fine, but I want your clothes on the floor and your ass on the hood, understood?” I demand.

She doesn’t speak, only answering with a tiny nod. Her fingers tremble as she begins to strip her mechanic coveralls off. I need to remind myself to blink. To breathe. To move. Reluctantly I force my feet to shuffle away from her. I force my eyes away as I reach for the red button and slam my palm into it, dropping the door to the outside. Leaving us and only us in here.

I turn back to Mickey and run my hand over my jaw as she kicks off her uniform. She looks up at me, eyes wide, and pauses. For a second, I think she’s changed her mind. She’s not going to strip for a guy she barely knows and climb up onto my car and finger fuck herself. It’s too much. This is going too far. Disappointment rises like a tide inside my gut when she suddenly takes a deep breath, tosses her long, brown hair over her shoulder, and tugs her tight shirt off over her head.

A satisfied smirk spreads over my lips as she reveals her baby blue bra to me. It spreads even further when she wiggles out of her pants and her baby blue panties catch my eye. You know what they say. If a woman takes off her clothes and her bra matches her underwear, sex wasn’t your idea. I raise an eyebrow as I study her supple curves. What kind of woman am I dealing with? I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone like her in my entire life. I don’t want to spend another day trying to meet anyone else who will never measure up. Not when I’ve got the total package right here, peeling off her clothes for me like a good girl.

“Get on the hood,” I demand, not entirely sure where this commanding voice is even coming from. I’m not the kind of guy who tells women what to do. I’m not the kind of dominating guy who makes women please him. There’s something about Mickey that brings this intense desire over me. I want to claim her as mine. I want to smack her ass while she screams out that I’m her one and only. I want my cock to be the only one she takes or wants.

“Why don’t you make me?” Her eyes sparkle as she juts out her chin at me. I walk calmly but quickly across the space between us and scoop my hands under the curve of her ass, lifting her up to the hood. I plunk her down on my car and pull her knees open.

Mickey watches me with eyes wide-open as I tug her panties down her thighs and narrow my eyes at her.

“Touch yourself again, baby. Let me see what I do to you.” My voice is much more gentle, but the words are still uncompromising. I’m not asking. Not really.

With her legs spread wide, I can see the first pearly beads of desire at her entrance as she dips her finger into her pussy. I lick my lips, using every fiber of my will to stop myself from wrapping my hands around each thigh and burying my face between those legs.

Instead, I watch closely as she leans back on the hood and begins to rub her clit in earnest. She’s not putting on a show anymore. She’s doing this for her and it’s sexy as hell.

I start pulling my clothes off, tossing my shirt to the cement floor and then unbuttoning and stepping out of my pants. Soon all my clothes and shoes are scattered on the dirty floor, and I couldn’t care less.

“Look at me, Mickey,” I snarl. “Look at me when you cum.”

She opens her eyes and her finger slides over her clit in a frenzy. I can see from the glazed look in her brown eyes that she’s close. She’s almost there.

“Oh fuck!” She throws her head back and I stroke my cock as she writhes all over the hood of my car. I watch as she shudders from the powerful orgasm. I swear, watching her cum is almost enough to get me off too.

  Almost.

“Let me taste your fingers. I want to lick your cum.” I grab her hand and suck her fingertips like a man sucking the last drops of water out of a bottle after a trek across the desert. “Fuck, you taste like heaven.” I lick them clean.

“I need you, Deklan. I couldn’t sleep all night because I couldn’t stop thinking of you. I need you to fuck me.” Mickey’s voice is raspy with need, desperation coating it like an addict who needs their next fix.

“I need you too,” I admit, my voice barely a whisper. “Get over here.” I pull her across the hood and flip her over so her plump ass is up in the air and her head is flat against my car. Ass up, head down. Perfect.

I fist the base of my cock and slide it up and down against her slippery slit. She’s wet. She’s ready. And she’s driving me insane. I don’t worry about anything besides this moment between us, and the way she’s pushing her ass back against me tells me she’s in the same mindset.

  “Fuck me,” she begs.

I slide my cock into her sweet pussy in one long, powerful thrust, filling her to her limit. She moans against the car as I pump my dick into her over and over. Her words stop making sense, turning into indecipherable grunts and groans as I fuck her hard and fast against my car. She’s pinned under me. I’m in total control of her as I take her as deep as possible, bottoming out with every pump.

“Fuck, Mickey, I’m gonna cum,” I warn her as my balls tighten and my muscles grow stiff.

“Cum on my ass. Oh God, Deklan! Fucking cum on my ass!” She wails and I pull out my cock, stroking it fast in my fist as my white jizz spurts over her full ass. My orgasm shreds through me, making my knees weak and my heart threaten to beat out of my chest.

I watch as Mickey swipes some of my cum from her curvaceous behind and sucks it from her fingers. Holy fuck, she’s hot.

“Get over here.” I help lift her from the hood and flip her around to face me. “You drive me crazy, you know that?” I don’t give her a chance to answer, kissing her hard, plundering her mouth with my tongue.

“You do the same to me.” She pulls back and whispers up to me.

“I guess we should do something about that then, huh?” I smirk down at her. “I know this is all backward, but how about I take you out tonight?”

“I’d love that.” She smiles and I pull her into my chest.

“Me too,” I admit. “More than you know.”

  Chapter 1 - Lacey

“You ready?” Emma casually leans against my office doorframe as she smiles at me. She looks stunning, as usual. I wish I could manage to sweep up my hair into the sexy-but-casual styles she pulls off. With my flat, red hair, getting it to stay up in a ponytail is a challenge.

“For what?” I check the time on my computer. It’s a quarter to five on Friday, so the only thing I’m ready for is to go home and throw my bra on the back of my chair, knowing I won’t have to put it back on for two whole days. Some people look forward to the weekend so they can party or go do exciting things. For me being braless and wearing my comfy yoga pants is all the mini-vacation I need to get rejuvenated for another week.

“For what?” She chuckles but then her smile freezes and slips away as she meets my eyes. How does she get her eyeliner to do that? The way it sweeps across her lid and curls up into a perfect cat tail at the end. I wish I could do that. I picture myself giving it a try. It would probably look a lot less like a cat eye and more like the polygraph of a nervous but pathological liar. “Did you forget the office party? Seriously?” Emma’s perfectly penciled eyebrows furrow together.

I groan and lean over my desk as my dream of being free from my bra and comfortably lounging in my house in stretchy pants is whisked away from me. “Ugh, please tell me that’s not today.” I half moan and half pray as I look back up at my friend’s face.

“How on earth did you forget? There are posters all around the office, there was
an email, people have been talking about this for a month.” She shakes her head at me.

I slump my head in my hands. “I don’t know. You know I don’t pay attention to that stuff.” I grimace. And by ‘that stuff’ I mean interacting with my peers in any meaningful way. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not some kind of snob or a dick to my co-workers. It’s just that deep inside I’m still the shy girl I was growing up. The one who sat on the outskirts of the playground reading books while the other kids played tag. For me, standing around a water cooler gossiping with a crowd is a nightmare. No, scratch that, office parties are truly the stuff of nightmares. Like, legitimately. The idea of pasting a smile to my face and talking to large crowds of people has me exhausted just thinking about it. I guess that’s why I was so drawn to interior design. I can get lost in palettes of color and creating beautiful art inside someone’s home. The job is mostly one-on-one interactions, perfect for the socially awkward.

“Come on, you have to go, so you might as well try to have some fun.” Emma walks across my floor and reaches her hand out to me. “Besides, Jaxon is going to be there.” Her green eyes sparkle. A jolt zaps down my spine and his face instantly comes to my mind as I sit up straighter, energized like I’d pounded back a Red Bull.

“I knew that would do it.” She giggles at me as heat flushes my face.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I deny my silly crush on the sexy architect we all work for. “He’s our boss. I don’t look at him that way,” I lie unconvincingly.

“Uh-huh.” She drops the hand she was holding out to me and puts it on her hip. “Then why are you blushing?”

“I’m not. It’s just hot in here.” I stand up and smooth down the dress I wore today. “Is this good enough for the party?” Good enough for him, I mean.

“It’s beautiful, just like you.” She smiles at my pale green, A-line dress.

“Thanks,” I answer flatly, dismissing her compliment. I push my glasses up my nose and look away.

“Come on, let’s get down to the staff room and grab some drinks before it gets too crazy. You’ll feel better about the whole ‘human interaction’ thing if you’ve had a few cocktails.” She leans over my desk and grasps my hand, leading me reluctantly around my barricade, I mean, my desk, to the door.

“Is it sad that I need to have liquor in me to function at these things?” I shake my head and drop her hand as we walk out into the hallway together.

“Maybe a little,” she teases and nudges me with her elbow. “But that’s why I love ya. You’re quirky.” She tries to cheer me up. “It’s cute.”

“Great, I’ve always wanted to be cute.” I crinkle up my nose and she laughs.

“Yeah, we definitely need some cocktails, stat.” She leads me to the long table of boozy drinks and snacks at the back of the office staff room, marching in past the few early birds who are congregated around the edges of the room.

“Make mine a double,” I answer jokingly, but my eyes open wide as I watch her splash extra booze into my cup. “I was just kidding.” I shake my hands at her.

“Ahh, it’ll be fine. You’ll just loosen up and have some fun quicker.” She winks at me and mixes the drink, handing it off to me before making her own.

“I don’t know about that,” I mutter, looking around the room at my co-workers in their little cliques, talking in hushed tones over the elevator music.

“Well, it can’t hurt.” She smiles and grabs her drink. “To having a good time.” She holds up her glass in the air.

“To a good time,” I reluctantly answer and clink the edge of my glass against hers and take the first sip. My mouth instantly twists up as I manage to swallow the assault of heat and flavor the liquor spills onto my tongue. “Whoa, that’s a strong drink,” I manage to sputter after I swallow it down.

Emma just laughs at my face and takes a mouthful of her own drink. I look around the room one more time, but this time the tension I’ve been carrying in my shoulders eases a little as I exhale and take another long drink from my glass. I guess if I have to be here I might as well try to enjoy myself. After a couple more of these, I don’t think that’ll be a problem.

  Chapter 2 - Jaxon

“Fan-fucking-tastic,” I growl under my breath at the ridiculous Friday traffic blocking the entrance to the parking garage under my building. “Like I’m not late enough as it is.” My eyes slide over to the time glowing from my dashboard in a red hue like a police siren and screaming at me just as loudly: 6:47.

I’m already almost two hours late for my own office party. This whole day has just been ridiculous. Between the standoff over bylaw codes I’m having with the city hall about my newest project and this gridlocked traffic, I’m not exactly in the mood to party. The celebration in honor of our fifth building being officially opened to the public just doesn’t seem to matter right now. Not after this day.

Finally the cars ahead of me creep forward enough to access the entrance to the parkade. I slip into the underground darkness and pull into my marked spot, shifting into park and cranking the emergency brake before stepping out of my Porsche. I made it. Now to put in some face time with the folks who’ve helped me make my dreams a reality. That’s really what this party is all about. It’s not about the fact that I’ve got another building dotting the San Francisco skyline. It’s not about me at all, actually. It’s about the people who helped me go from the kid who once built Lego cities in his mom’s dining room to the reality of becoming the award-winning architect I’ve grown into. Without the tireless work of my construction workers, my administration clerks, my interior designers, and decorators, I’d be nothing.

I click the button on the elevator as my mind drifts to a particular interior designer that I hope is still at the party. Lacey Stone.

I know it’s not appropriate to have an office relationship, especially not with someone who works for you, but I’d be lying through my teeth if I said it hasn’t crossed my mind. The elevator doors swoosh open and I step inside, pushing the button to the tenth floor where our biggest staff room, and Lacey’s office, are both located. My heart pounds harder in my chest as I wonder what she’s wearing today. I can so clearly see her fiery red hair tucked behind her ears and her shy smile that makes me crazy.

Obviously I could never act on it. Sometimes our greatest desires can only be a fantasy, and as long as she works for me, that’s the way it’ll have to stay. That doesn’t mean I can’t look forward to being around her.

The metal doors slide open and I step out onto the eerily quiet tenth floor. My footsteps echo off the beautifully decorated walls toward the faint sound of music at the end of the hall that grows louder with each step. By the time I reach the sprawling staff room, the beat of the bass thuds in my chest and I’m surprised to see the drunken dancing and happy faces inside the room.

My gaze sweeps over the employees drinking and laughing inside until I spot Lacey. I stand like a statue, watching her as she giggles with another woman and busts a move to the music. It’s so unusual to see her loose and happy, but I can’t say I mind watching as she swirls her hips and shakes her tits in her dress. However, I’m not here for Lacey. Well, not just for Lacey. I’ve got to go mingle and show my face around here. I slice through the crowds of dancers and make my way over to the refreshments table on the back wall where I join a gaggle of my employees in conversation.

“Sorry I’m late. How’s the party been going so far?” I nod at the expansive room as I interrupt my senior executive rambling to a couple of his secretaries. From their expressions, I think they’re thankful for the distraction. Bob is a great guy, but sometimes he has a hard time stepping back from work, as in he never stops talking about it. Ever.

“Good, glad you decided to show up.” Bob smiles at me and claps my shoulder. “Did you make any progress with the city hall?” He watches my face closely as I grit my teeth.

“Let’s not go there,” I answer flatly.

  “That good, huh?”
<
br />   “Yeah. No work talk, though, remember? Time to relax and enjoy our successes.” I start to mix a drink when someone brushes against me, pressing their body close into mine, and tugs on my hand.

“Hey, it’s about time you got here.” I turn and am face-to-face with her. Lacey’s flawless porcelain skin is flushed red from booze and she wobbles slightly on her heels as she levels me with her stunning blue eyes. Not even her thick-rimmed, smoky gray glasses can hide their beauty. If anything they enhance the tiny flecks of gold laced through the sky-blue of her eyes.

“Excuse me?” I stand a bit taller, trying not to let how close she’s standing, the heat of her body, or the scent of her faint perfume pull me into a haze of lust.

“I’ve been waiting for you,” she slurs and bops her fingertip onto my nose. “All night. You wanna know why?” Her smile is impossible not to return. I’ve known Lacey for a couple years now, and I’ve never seen her so friendly, so happy, so…drunk.

“Why is that?” I muse, enjoying this uninhibited side of her on display.

Her blue eyes dance behind her glasses as she studies my face, but before she can answer her blond friend interrupts, trying to tug her away.

“Oh, Lacey, there you are.” Her eyes dart over to me and back to Lacey. “Come on, hon, I should really get you home now. It’s been a long week and the drinks hit us a bit hard,” she explains as she tries to rescue her friend from embarrassment.

“No, no, no.” Lacey tugs her hand free and casually rests it on my shoulder. “I’m not leaving until I get a dance with Jaxon.” She looks up at me and although her eyes are bleary, I can see determination in them.
