“I would love pizza. How about pizza?” suggested Dani.

Liz shrugged as if she didn’t care, but Dani knew that Liz didn’t like pizza. She also remembered, from the one conversation she had had with Richard, that he loved it.

“Pepperoni and olives, that’s my favorite,” she went on, glancing at Richard.

  He looked a bit uncertain.

“What do you say, Liz?” he asked.

She still seemed far more interested in her manicure than the conversation.

“Alright then, pizza it is. I’ll call and order,” said Richard, and he soon left the room.

Richard walked out awkwardly. He had a boner. It was embarrassing, but there you it was. He had just fucked Liz – making up after a fight, of which they’d had far too many of in the last year – but he had a raging boner that simply would not go away. He had gotten it when his stepdaughter had smiled at him, and then grabbed her own ass.

He was mortified. He had to stop himself from reaching out and squeezing her ass! Dani had definitely blossomed. She had grown into an extremely beautiful young woman. She looked absolutely nothing like the tall, rather clumsy and graceless child he remembered.

This young woman looked like every man’s fantasy. She had a body that would make anyone want her. Add that absolutely glamorous face, and her smile; she was the complete package.

He realized, suddenly, that she looked very much like Elizabeth from two decades ago. But it was more than just the perfect features. There was something approachable and animated about her that just made you smile. She seemed so cheerful, full of life and happy.

It had been a long time since he had seen such perfect youth, just blooming into complete beauty.

Quickly, he did the math. Danielle was nineteen. That relieved his conscience a bit, though not all that much. At least he didn’t have to feel too guilty about being attracted to her.

It would just be for a month, though, he reminded himself as he finally walked to the phone and called the pizzeria to place the order.

When he hung up, he found himself torn. He wanted to go back to the living room and feast his eyes on Dani again. He also wanted to hide in the kitchen, away from his wife’s gimlet eyes.

Richard wished he had known Liz when she had been as lovely, inside and out, as Dani seemed to be. Now, bitterness and resentment seemed to eat away at her beauty with every passing day. Richard couldn’t, for the life of him, see why Liz was bitter. She had everything. She had wealth, social status, beauty, admirers, influence – everything!

But the moment Dani walked into that room, he had felt as if everything had lit up. He’d always thought it to be such a cliché, but she could brighten even the cloudiest day up.

Except Elizabeth. He had seen how her face had soured, and he had known, without question, that things would not get better between them during Dani’s summer vacation.

The real problem with that was, he was no longer sure if he wanted things to get better with Elizabeth. At the moment, all he wanted was Dani! Richard wondered just what he was going to do about that as he stopped himself from stalling and went back to the living room.

  Chapter Five

Dani dug into the pizza ravenously. She charmed Richard with tales of college. She focused on the theatre group she loved, and talked about the art exhibitions she had helped organize.

Liz made no effort to take part in the conversation at all. Despite everything, Dani couldn’t help feeling a bit hurt. Her mother had just never been very interested in her, at all. She used to think when she was younger that maybe when she was all grown up, her mother would have time for her. They might even pretend to be sisters. But apparently, now she was competition.

Never mind, she told herself. She was competition. And Richard was paying attention to her. He was really looking at her, talking to her.

Finally, she stretched, making the thin material of her top stretch across her full young breasts, and turned to Richard.

“I’m kind of tired, actually. We had a few finals to get through in the last week, and we partied quite a bit, too. So sleep was the one thing that had to give. Do I go up to my old room?”

  Richard got up courteously.

“Let me help you with your suitcase,” he told her.

  Dani smiled warmly.

“Would you? It is a bit unwieldy. Seems to have a mind of its own.”

Dani looked into his deep, blue eyes and felt like she could just drown in them and die happy. He was so perfect, she thought. He was so handsome and such a gentleman. The admiration was obvious in her face.

It would have taken a much stronger man than Richard to not respond to it.

He followed her up the stairs, and he couldn’t help watching how her hips swayed and her shorts stretched over her pert ass.

She walked into her room and walked straight to the window. Her hair framed like a halo by the afternoon sunlight, she turned and smiled at him.

“Thank you, Richard,” she said, softly.

“I missed this room. I grew up here. It’s a bit odd to come back here as a woman. I was last here as a young girl,” she said, her voice wistful.

“You have grown up. You’ve become a beautiful woman, Danielle,” said Richard.

She felt that her full name on his tongue was sexier than anything she had ever heard. She walked to him and reached for the suitcase, taking the chance to brush her hand over his. She could feel that frisson of pleasure shoot through her like a jolt, and looked up at him. He had felt it, too. She knew that he had.

Following instinct, she stepped up to him and slipped her arms around his neck in a hug that pressed her body against his. She could feel her nipples harden, and she could hardly fail to notice that his cock had sprung to life.

“I’m very glad to be home,” she whispered into his ear, and stepped away.

“It’s good to have you hear, Dani. I’m glad,” he replied, his voice a bit husky. It was the same note that had been in his voice when he had been having sex. Dani recognized it.

Richard looked a bit dazed as he turned around and walked out of her room.

Dani closed the door and locked it. A bit frantic, she pulled her shorts down and settled down on the bed.

She closed her eyes. She could feel Richard’s cock pressing against her. She had felt it against her lower belly. Her nipples were still hard from the slight friction as she had rubbed herself against him, just a bit.

She thought of how he had looked with his cock hard, long and thick. She wanted that cock inside her, thrusting inside her until she screamed his name over and over again.

Dani’s hand was inside her panties, rubbing furiously as her clit became a swollen little nub of pleasure that only demanded more, and more, and more.

“Richard,” she whispered as she rubbed her clit and slipped two fingers inside her wet pussy, thrusting as she wanted to feel Richard’s cock inside her. She wanted him to fuck her. She wanted him to come inside her. She wanted him to scream her name as he came inside her, clutching her.

Her pussy clenched. Her legs quivered. Finally, that hard ball of coiled tension deep in her center exploded in an orgasm that left her trembling, her body jerking over and over again.

She panted, and each breath was Richard’s name, whispered softly.

Finally, she got the strength to get up, pulling the rest of her clothes off. Putting on just a t-shirt, she fell back into bed and let herself fall asleep.

Soon, she wouldn’t have to imagine any of it. Soon, she would have her stepfather.

  Chapter One

Dani woke up with a start. It was barely dawn, she realized, and got up to walk to the window. Feeling a slight chill, she pulled a robe on. She leaned out of the window and took in a deep breath.

It was going to be a beautiful day. She could feel it. She could see pink streaks in the sky, marking out bright blue patches that promised a clear, sunny day. The air was a bit brisk, but she loved that.

She had slept for about fifteen hours, she realized when she saw that it was five in the morning. She had needed the rest. She felt ready to face the world now.

Impulsively, she grabbed a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She ran a brush through her hair and pulled it into an easy and comfortable ponytail. It was a beautiful day. She was not going to miss a single moment of it.

The front of the estate was perfectly landscaped, but she didn’t go to the front door. Tiptoeing, she made her way to the back of the house and let herself out through the door that used to be the servants’ entrance a long time ago.

This was her favorite part of the house. It was beautiful. The landscaping wasn’t quite so picture perfect here. She could even vaguely remember her grandmother doing some gardening here when she was a little girl. There was a path that led to a cliff, where she loved to walk. There was even a set of stairs, a bit rickety, that led down to the narrow stretch of beach where she almost never saw anybody.

She had always thought of it as her beach. The cliffs and that beach were the only things she ever truly missed in all the time she had been away from there.

Her feet remembered the way perfectly. Dani took deep breaths and told herself to just stop thinking. This was a perfect moment. They didn’t come along too often. She paused by the stairs and wondered if she should go down to the beach or walk along the cliff path.

She stood there and watched all those dazzling colors spread over the sky, like a lazy artist’s brush strokes. It grew brighter as she stood there, and watched. The sea was calm, she noted. It would be lovely to go down for a dip sometime, but not so early in the morning. It would be too cold now.

Idly, her eyes moved over the beach, and she noticed that she wasn’t alone.

The realization came as a jolt. She had gotten so used to being alone there. Even if she came there rarely now, she had always thought of it as her place. Now there was somebody else there. Her first instinctive reaction was a rush of anger for whoever had decided to infringe on her place. It was where she had found peace. She didn’t want anybody else there.

She watched, eyes narrowed, as the small figure got bigger and came closer. Dani gasped.

It was Richard. Even from that far away, she could see dejection in his lines as he walked. She didn’t know how she knew it, but she did. He needed comfort. The strength of her desire to give him what he needed surprised Dani.

She had known for a long time that she wanted him. But she had never given much thought to how much she cared about him. That hit her now as she watched the man she wanted walk along the beach, and she felt his sadness, even from so far away.

Before she even knew she had decided to go down, she found herself halfway down the stairs, walking towards him. She knew the moment he noticed her. She was about thirty feet away when he sensed her presence and looked up at her.

“Dani. You missed dinner,” he said.

He almost smacked himself at the inanity of what he said. He was glad she had missed dinner. He and Liz had had another fight. They were fighting so often now. Liz just didn’t seem happy, no matter what he did or tried to give her. He didn’t know what to do about it.

Things were quite different though, back when they had first married. She seemed happy and hopeful. He knew that she had had an unhappy marriage that had ended with everyone feeling a bit resentful, but she had taken a chance and married him anyway. He had thought that it showed how much he meant to her.

For the first year, everything had seemed fine. But after that, Liz had just gotten so restless. She had wanted to travel. Richard had arranged time off from work and they had gone on a tour of Europe.

It hadn’t brought them together. It had just driven them farther apart, if anything. He had wanted to go to Greece and relive his favorite stories. He had wanted to visit glass factories in Venice and learn more about the craft. He had wanted to go to museums in Amsterdam.

Liz hadn’t wanted to do any of that. Her idea of a European tour had been a tour of all the shopping districts of Europe. She hadn’t even wanted to get the feel of any local markets. She had just wanted to visit boutiques and big brand name shops.

They had ended up doing their own thing separately, and they had come back without finding any renewed intimacy. Liz had been happy, though. Shopping always made her happy.

But he had come back feeling like he was stuck in a marriage that gave him almost none of what he wanted from his relationship. They had good sex. But that was all they had.

Then Dani had walked into his life, and he had seen all the beauty of Liz, and more, in a person he could enjoy being with. Now here she was, standing right in front of him, a sweet smile on her face. She looked like dawn – fresh, lovely, full of potential.

  And he wanted her.

  Chapter Two

“Do you walk here often? I used to love walking along the beach at dawn. Or the cliffs at dusk. I’ve missed it,” said Dani, softly.

Richard smiled at her. He couldn’t help it. She looked so lovely and so natural.

“I love it, too. I come here when I need to think.”

Dani fell into step beside him.

“Do you mind if I walk with you? I usually come here to be alone, but now, I’d love your company.”

Richard glanced at her and wondered if there was a man alive who would deny her anything.

“Walk with me, Dani,” he said, simply.

Dani took her sandals off and carried them as they walked together, enjoying the sound of the waves.

“Do you often get up at dawn? I think of college students as partying till dawn,” said Richard.

Dani laughed. The sound was musical and lovely, and made Richard want to pull Dani close to him.

“I’m afraid college students can’t live up to that stereotype if they want to be employable. Everything is on social media these days. I want to have a good resume when I finish college, anyway, so I’ve worked quite a bit. It doesn’t leave all that much time for partying.”

  Richard looked at her skeptically.

  Dani laughed again.

“I’m not saying I don’t party, of course. I do, I like having fun. But I don’t party nearly as much as you seem to think. Anyway, I love early mornings. Doesn’t make me all that popular with my roommate sometimes, though. Trish hates waking up early.”

Dani grinned as she remembered Trish’s muttered, drowsy complaints.

“Don’t you get along with your roommate?”

“Oh no, it isn’t anything like that. We’re very close. Like sisters. I always wanted a sister,” said Dani, her voice wistful as she stopped and looked out at the water.

Richard smiled at that. He had wanted to have a child with Liz. But Liz hadn’t wanted more children, so it had never been a discussion. He respected that, and he had buried his need to be a father. But he understood what Dani meant.

“I’m sure you would have been a wonderful big sister,” he told her.

Dani turned to look up at him and smiled. The smile reached all the way to her eyes, making them sparkle green and gorgeous.

“I think the ship has sailed for that. I have half-siblings, you know, from my father’s marriages. I don’t really know any of them. Now, I think I’ll wait till I’m ready and be a good mother.”

Richard felt that rush again. But now, he noticed that
Dani had goosebumps on her arms.

Without thinking about it, he slipped his arm around her.

  “Hey, you’re cold,” said Richard.

Dani pressed herself close to him and turned to look up into his eyes.

“I don’t feel cold. Not when you’re near me,” she told him.

She felt as if time had stopped in that moment. She could see how his blue eyes seemed to darken, and she knew he wanted her. Slipping her arms around his waist, she pressed herself close to him, resting her head against his chest.

She could hear his heart beat. She could feel it against her cheek. She could feel it get faster, and knew that his body was responding to her closeness, just as hers was. He wanted her. She knew that he wanted her. She just needed him to know that it was alright to take what he wanted.

Richard was motionless. He could feel her perky young breasts pressed against him. He could feel her move slightly, and her nipples rubbed against him. He realized that she wasn’t wearing a bra and wanted, more than anything, to cup those breasts in the palms of his hands. He wanted to rub those nipples until she moaned in his arms, telling him how much she wanted him.

He wanted to take that t-shirt off and look at her breasts. They would be beautiful. He knew that. She would have pink nipples that would become pointed and hard when he looked at them. He would lick them until she shivered in pleasure. He could give her more pleasure than anybody else ever had. He wanted to watch her areolas pucker in the brisk breeze right there on the beach.

He wanted to lay her down on the sand and pull down her shorts, feel how wet she was. He wanted her to be wet for him. He wanted to slip his fingers inside her, feel how hot and tight she was.

When she was so wet that she became incoherent with desire for him, he would slide his hard cock deep inside her and make love to her until she was completely his.

Before he could stop them, his hands had moved down her back to cup her ass and pull her closer to him. She was pressed along his length, and he was so hard that he was desperate for her.
