“So... we’re loaded?” Skye asked curiously.
“Aye, my love – we’re ‘loaded’,” Taran laughed. “After all, we’ve a war to pay for, do we nah?”
“And a proper den,” Ciaran added. “We’ll nah be hotel hopping. Gotta have a home to retire to, after all.”
“He’s just worryin since he’s been banned from the vast majority of hotels in the world,” Eògan whispered to Aiyana with a smirk.
“Where are we gonna live?” Skye asked curiously.
“Your old stomping grounds, a stóirín,” Ciaran announced with a grin. “I figured ya might want to make a Philly boy outta your mate here.”
“Not a chance of that,” Skye laughed. “If he loses his accent, we’re moving right back here to the castle like pronto. Did you already check out locations?”
“Aye, Ailean’s found us a great spot on the waterfront, apparently,” Taran offered. “By the time we arrive, he’ll have the renovations and construction well underway.”
“So... I guess the only thing left to do is convince you to get on a plane,” Skye teased.
Taran smiled deviously and muttered against her ear, “Why d’ya think the two of us will be in a private car on the drive to the airport, wee one? You’ve a great deal of convincing to do.”
