“All better, sweetheart. Punishment over and pleasure already begun. We don’t like punishing you like that, love.”

She looked up and saw the pain in Noah’s eyes. He might be a hard-ass, but he didn’t enjoy punishing her, really punishing her. He enjoyed playing with the punishments he knew she’d love. Tonight’s had been different, and she felt badly she’d cornered him into it. She knew better than to give Aaron shit about his rules, but she’d done it anyway.

  “I’m sorry, Master Noah.”

He nuzzled her ear. “Shhhh, sub. No more apologies. It’s done and over and we’ve moved on, okay? Do you need to talk about it?”

The bed sagged as Riley joined them cuddling up to her back. “You should talk about it, sweetheart. How did you feel during your punishment?”

She loved the cuddling and closeness of aftercare but wasn’t a fan of the postmortems.

“I felt like I was being punished. Wasn’t that the point?”

Her men were silent for a moment before Riley spoke. “Yes, it was. Did you feel the punishment was too harsh or unfair? Were you close to safe wording?”

“No, I wasn’t even close to using my safe word.” Honestly, it had never occurred to her. While uncomfortable, the burn wasn’t life threatening, and she’d known from what she’d seen it would only last about fifteen minutes or so.

“But was it too harsh?” Noah asked, tilting her chin up so she was looking into his eyes.

She chewed on her lower lip wanting to tell him it was, but her innate honestly won out. “No, it wasn’t too harsh.” She tried to pull her chin away. “I kind of liked it.”

Noah let her, stroking her jaw instead. “Good girl. That’s a brave sub. It was hard to tell us, wasn’t it?”

She nodded, still slightly uncomfortable with her masochistic streak. She’d grown used to enjoying spankings, floggings, and nipple clamps. Now she had one more item to add to the ever-growing list.

Riley kissed and nipped the nape of her neck, sending a rush of pleasure through her body. “I’m proud of you. You took your punishment like a big girl. You’ve made us very proud tonight.”

Their praise made her feel warm inside. She loved being able to please them, bring them pleasure and happiness.

  “Thank you, Master Riley.”

Noah tapped her nose with a playful smile. “We have more for you, if you’re up for it.”

She could feel his hard cock pressed into her belly, and a coil of heat started tightening inside her.

“I’m up for it.” She wrapped her hands around his thick cock. “I can tell you’re up for it.”

Noah chuckled and pressed her to her back, Riley moving off to the side of the bed and tossing Noah a condom from the bedside table. He rolled it on and gave her a wicked grin. “You were such a good girl, you get to have your hands free when I fuck you.”

She held out her arms, beckoning to him, and he came down on top of her, his lips crushing hers. Their tongues tangled together as he pressed his cock slowly into her cunt until he was in to the hilt. She wrapped her legs around his lean waist, and he began an agonizingly slow rhythm. She dug her nails into his back to urge him on, but he never broke from his leisurely pace. His big cock ran over the sensitive spots inside her as he leaned over and played with her nipples with his teeth and tongue.

“Faster, please.” Her breath was ragged as she pleaded with Noah. His grin had been replaced with a mask of pure control. She was familiar with this mood, and he wouldn’t be budged from whatever he had decided to do. If he wanted to take all night to fuck her, that was what he was damn well going to do.

“No, baby. Soft and slow tonight. I want this to last forever.”

Like waves gently lapping at the shore, her arousal flowed through her veins. It felt like heaven, wrapped in a cloud of pleasure she thought would never end. When her orgasm came, it took her by surprise, the glittering starbursts and the explosion of heat. Noah thrust into her and froze, looking deeply into her eyes.

“Look at me, sweetheart. I love you, baby.”

She was drowning in his love. It shone in the way he looked at her, the way he held her. He squeezed his eyes shut as his own climax took him. She held him close, whispering how much she loved him as he shuddered. He kissed her soft and deep before regretfully pulling away to dispose of the condom. She was getting sick and tired of them and hoped it wouldn’t be too long before they could ditch them and try for a baby.

Riley pulled her close while Noah was gone.

“You know I love you, right? You know you’re the most important thing in the world to me, baby? I love you so damn much.”

She could feel it. Love oozed from every pore of Riley’s body, and she could feel the urgency in his words. Noah joined them, and she cuddled between them, content and happy.

“I love you both. I’ve loved you forever, even when you didn’t love me.”

She felt Noah’s laugh rumble in his chest. “Honey, I don’t remember what it’s like not to love you. I think we may have been in love with you long before we admitted it. You’re it for us. No other woman will do.”

She giggled. “Better not try, cowboy. I’m a mighty jealous woman. I’ve been told I have something of a temper.”

“We wouldn’t have you any other way.” Riley laughed. “I love your hot temper. I especially love riling you up and then fucking you. Best sex ever.”

“That’s a terrible thing to say! Riley Christopher McLean, you take that back. It’s insulting.”

Riley quirked an eyebrow. “How is saying you’re the best sex ever insulting?”

She shook her head. “If you don’t know, I sure as hell can’t explain it to you. Noah, tell him.”

Noah leaned on his elbow. “I’m not getting between you two. You’ve known for years Riley likes to put a fire in the furnace with your temper. Can’t be a surprise at this point.”

She poked out her lower lip in a pout. “It’s one thing to do it, a whole other thing to say it.”

“Watch that protruding lip, honey, or a little bird’s going to perch there.” Noah laughed.

“And poop on your chin,” Riley finished.

She giggled. After all, her men were not only hot as Hades in bed, but also funny and playful. She was a lucky woman.

“Can we rest a little and then play some more? I’m not tired yet.”

Riley leaned back on the pillow, his hands behind his head. “Absolutely. I’m not tired either. I’m good for a couple more rounds. Did you have a scene in mind, sweetheart?”

She cuddled with her men as she described a scene she’d been thinking about all week, watching their eyes light up. It was going to be an awesome night.

  Chapter Seven

Riley was feeling good. Aubrey was happy and smiling. He and Noah had made it their mission tonight to put a big smile on her face.

  Mission accomplished.

They were now sitting in the bar area of Consensual waiting for the roads to be cleared. While they’d been playing in the catacombs of the club, ten inches of snow had fallen paired with a wicked Montana wind. Aaron had fired up the kitchen and urged the patrons to stay while he plied them with food.

Riley had been happy to stay as it gave him more time to have fun with Aubrey, although his truck could have driven her home even in the snow. The only fly in the ointment were the Baldwin boys, Eric and Matt. They were actually pretty good guys, but Riley always felt uncomfortable around any Baldwin. He was supposed to hate them, but the older he got the more he questioned why. Eric and Matt were shooting pool with their friends and staying on the far side of the bar so everything would probably be okay. They’d simply keep their distance from one another.

Riley ambled up to the bar and hailed Aaron, who was washing glasses.

“Can I get three Cokes, please? Aubrey’s yawning over there and says she needs some caffeine.”

Aaron laughed. “She loves her caffeine. Is everything okay? I didn’t get a chance to talk to you a
fter you punished her. I’m starting to feel guilty about it.”

Riley’s eyebrows shot up. “You, guilty? I thought you were the strictest Dom in Sanctuary. Lord knows, Noah and I wouldn’t qualify. Noah’s tougher than me, but hell, I don’t like to punish her. I’d let her get away with blue murder if it were all up to me.” Riley looked over his shoulder at the woman who owned his heart. “She did fine. We used the ginger as you suggested previously. She admitted she liked it. I don’t think we’ll do it again for awhile though. Not sure I can take it. I felt fucking helpless sitting in that chair watching her. Damn, subs are tough and strong. I sure as hell couldn’t have taken it.”

Aaron nodded. “People don’t get it. Subs are formidable. Very strong, to be able to do what they do. This isn’t a lifestyle for wimps.” He handed Riley the three glasses. “I’m glad she’s okay. I’ll take her to dinner one night next week if that’s okay with you and Noah. Tyler, too, of course.”

“No problem. We trust you with our girl. I’m always grateful that you’re around. When Noah and I get busy on the ranch and she can’t reach us easily, I know you’re there for her. It’s a weight off our minds.”

Aaron leaned against the bar. “I’ll always be there for Aubrey. Kelly and she were as close as sisters. Tyler adores her, and she’s like a sister to me. I’d hate for anything to happen to her. This secret admirer guy is creepy if you ask me.”

“What secret admirer?” Riley was confused. He racked his brain for a snippet of conversation from Aubrey mentioning this. “This is news to me.”

Aaron’s mouth turned down. “Dammit, I told her to tell you. Twice.” He tossed his bar towel onto the counter. “Fuck, I shouldn’t be the one to tell you. She’s going to rip off my balls.”

“Well, you are, so spit it out. What’s going on?”

“Some guy has been leaving her gifts at school and at her house. She doesn’t know who it is. I did persuade her to tell the principal.”

Riley looked over at Aubrey laughing with Noah. Their pretty little redhead had a fiery temper, but she was also stubborn as all hell. If someone wanted her to do something, she would dig her heels in just for the fun of it. Riley had always thought she did it to torment him and Noah, but it looked like she liked to torment Aaron, as well.

“A small miracle. Glad she did, though. What did he say?”

“Said he’d check the cameras in the parking lot to see who it was. Aubrey thinks it’s some lovesick student and he’ll get over it eventually.”

Riley looked back at Aaron. “What do you think?”

Aaron shrugged. “I think it could be, but my feeling is it’s more. Most teenage boys would have moved on after a couple of weeks.”

“Fuck, how long has this been going on?”

Aaron headed down the bar to another customer. “A couple of months that I know about.”

Riley shook his head, anger churning in his gut. He was pissed Aubrey hadn’t told them, but mostly he was pissed at himself. She hadn’t told them because he and Noah had been lousy boyfriends, partying and treating her badly. If he yelled at her for not saying anything, he knew exactly what she’d do. Her little stubborn chin would go up, and her eyes would shoot daggers as she’d tell them in her best schoolmarm voice they’d never been around when any of this happened.

  She was right.

They hadn’t been around. He sure as hell intended to be around now. His hand automatically went to his chest pocket where the black velvet ring box was tucked away, safe and sound. After talking to Noah, and Craig, Riley had realized he was only hurting himself by trying to stay a kid. He loved Aubrey, and he wanted to spend a lifetime with her. He wanted to be happy now.

Noah had been relieved Riley hadn’t given him a rash of shit about proposing. They’d gone into Bozeman and nervously bought a ring, hoping she would like it. They’d planned to propose tonight, but it had never seemed like the right time. Somehow proposing in a dungeon while Aubrey was tied to a bed didn’t feel right. They needed candlelight and roses for this.

Aubrey stood up and kissed Noah, making Riley smile. Damn, he loved her. Now that he’d whipped his maturity demons he was starting to think about their life together. He hoped they could talk her into having a baby right away. A cute little girl with her mother’s red hair and golden-brown eyes.

Aubrey headed toward the ladies’ room and had to pass Eric, Matt, and their friends on the way. She shot Riley a smile but was waylaid by one of Eric’s friends stepping in front of her, blocking her path. Riley couldn’t hear what he was saying from this distance, but it sure as fuck didn’t look like he was inquiring about the weather. Aubrey’s eyes were wide with surprise, and even Eric and Matt were tugging on the cowboy’s elbow trying to get him out of her personal space.

Riley saw red and stomped over there insinuating himself between Aubrey and the man. He went nose to nose with him, bumping him with his chest.

“You got a fucking problem, asshole?”

Aubrey tugged at his arm. “It’s no big deal, Riley. Eric and Matt handled it.”

He never took his eyes off the man who was glowering at him. “You can’t trust a Baldwin to take care of something like this.”

The man’s eyes were glazed over, obviously inebriated. Eric came up next to him.

“Angus, cool it, man. Leave Aubrey alone for fuck’s sake. Back off, Riley. We can handle him.”

Riley turned briefly to look at Eric before turning back. “He was giving Aubrey trouble.”

The man stuck a finger in Riley’s chest. “She wants me, asswipe. Get out of the way, I was talking to her.”

Riley bumped him back. “Hell, no. You’re not getting near our woman.”

“Noah, stop him. Dammit, Riley. I mean it. No bar fights, remember? No fighting with the Baldwins.” Aubrey’s voice was filled with fear, but Riley didn’t feel afraid. His adrenaline was pumping, filling him with a feeling of invincibility.

“I’m not fighting with the Baldwins. I’m fighting a friend of the Baldwins.”

He barely noticed Noah at his elbow.

  “What’s going on here, bro?”

“This guy was hassling our woman. I think we need to teach him some manners.”

“Stop it right now. Both of you. You promised.”

Noah pushed her back, away from the fray. “We’re not going to fight. We’re just talking.”

The man poked Noah in the chest. “Who the hell are you? You boys share one woman?” He turned back to the group of men, laughing. “Shit, these boys can’t satisfy a woman by themselves. Takes two of ’em.” The man reached around Riley, trying to grab Aubrey. “Come here, darlin’. I’ll show you what a real man is.”

Riley was already pulling his arm back to deck him, but Noah beat him to it. Noah’s fist landed with a satisfying thud against the bully’s jaw, and the guy staggered back. He shook his head a few times then came back up, fists at the ready. The next few moments seemed to happen in slow motion. The man reared back and tried to pop Riley in the nose, but Riley ducked. The drunk man staggered, and his fist landed awkwardly on Aubrey’s face, sending her flying back against the tables. By the time Noah and Riley reached her, she was sprawled on the floor unconscious, her skin pale.

Aaron stomped over, shielding them from the fight that had broken out between Riley and Noah’s friends and Eric and Matt’s friends. Riley lifted her into his arms, his heart squeezing in his chest.

“We need to get her to the hospital.”

Aaron pulled a phone from his pocket. “I’ll call an ambulance.”

Noah shook his head. “In this weather, it may be faster for us to drive her there. We have four-wheel drive.”

“I’m definitely calling the cops. These guys are busting up my place, dammit.”

Aaron’s jaw was tight, clearly pissed off. “I thought you promised her no bar fights? When she wakes up, she’s going to have your balls on a platter.”

“We were defending her honor,” Riley protested.

Aaron laughed grimly. “That’s not how she’s going to see it. She’s going to be pissed the hell off.”

“We’ll deal with it when it happens. Let’s get her to the truck.” Noah pushed aside a couple of guys so Riley could get Aubrey to the door. He carried her to the truck and laid her on the backseat, cradling her in his arms.

“Wake up, sweetheart. Wake up. We love you so damn much. We were going to propose tonight, baby. You have to wake up.”

Riley swallowed the lump in his throat as her eyelids didn’t so much as flutter. If anything happened to Aubrey, he would tear the Baldwins apart. This was their fault. If they hadn’t been there tonight, none of this would have happened.

Noah put the truck in drive and pulled out of the parking lot. “She’ll be okay, bro.”

“She better be.” Riley pulled her closer, letting her sweet scent surround him, his body shaking with fear and anger. “If anything happens to her, the Baldwins are going to fucking regret ever living in Sanctuary.”

  * * * *

Aubrey felt like there were hundreds of tiny men with hammers in her head. She opened her lids slowly, letting the light hit her eyes before shutting them tightly again. It hurt too fucking much.

“Open those pretty brown eyes, sweetheart. We brought you flowers.”

Noah’s soft, deep voice roused her further from her sleep state. The smell of antiseptic filled her nostrils, and she groaned in frustration. She was still in the hospital. Noah and Riley had brought her here yesterday after the bar fight, and the doctor had wanted to keep her twenty-four hours for observation. She was hoping to get to go home this morning. They’d had to call a substitute to take her classes today.

She squeezed her eyes shut. “I won’t open them. It hurts.”

“The light hurts, honey? I’ll close the blinds.” Riley was there, too. She wondered who else was in the room. She heard the rustle of the blinds and peeked open one eye slowly before opening the other. The room was darker, but her head still hurt. Noah was sitting next to her on the bed and Riley stood next to him. They looked pale and worried, their jaws rough with a day’s beard. She licked her dry lips.
