I thought back on Grandma Blueberry and smiled. She had really been able to help me look at the work in a different light. To me, it might seem like a tedious or inefficient task, but to the boy whose bike was stolen, I honestly was a hero.
I cleaned up my bed after sleeping in it. I had gone back home after that day and basically collapsed on the bed, tired from all the different experiences. I was learning that while my body was robotic and could literally go years without being turned off, my brain or soul or whatever couldn't. It needed regular rest and regular rest it would get.
I looked over my clean room. It was odd. I hadn't thought about it when I was cleaning it, but it really wasn't like me to procrastinate like that.
When I procrastinated, it was usually by watching more TV or hopping on to the Web. I rarely did something like that, and since then I had even kept it up. My room was still as meticulous as it had been since I cleaned it.
Even now I was cleaning the bed. I had never been neat before. I was surprised by how nice it was to have a clean room, how relaxing it felt.
Val had invited us over early. She had actually said just after breakfast. That was one issue about her, we couldn't get her to text us, no matter what. Whenever she wanted to contact us, she immediately started calling. It wasn’t really that annoying, but I was surprised by how seductive she could sound over the phone.
I shook my head, slipped on a pair of pants and a shirt on. I didn't have a lot of those, but I decided to go for a little more cleaned up look. I also grabbed a bag and stuffed my hero costume in it.
Then I headed out the door. I didn’t need breakfast, so I had been able to sleep a little longer, which meant I was now close to being late. Just because I had gotten a robot body, didn't mean I stopped enjoying lazing about and snoozing a little extra. It just also meant that I had a near subconscious desire to clean, and a dispenser filled with various cleaning agents in one of my arms.

The walk to Val took about an hour. While she didn't live on the other side of the Ëndib from me, she still lived pretty far away.
A brisk walk later and I arrived outside her apartment complex. She lived pretty far up, so I decided to use the elevator.
To train my skill, I tried to activate the call button while I was walking over to the elevator; unfortunately, my Telekinetic powers were still weak, if it was even possible and I had to press the button, like an average person.
I knocked on the door to her apartment and soon heard footsteps approach the door. I could sense the phone on the other side of the door, but I didn't access it feeling like it was too much of an intrusion.
The door open end to reveal Kani. She looked lovely, her gray eyes smiling at me as she lunged forward to hug me. She was wearing a sleeveless top and pleated skirt that hung to just above her knees. Her hair fell to just below her shoulders.
When she hugged me I could feel her breast pushing against my chest. She still held a scent of metal, but her hair wasn't greasy, and she didn't even have any visible spots of grease on her.
"Hey there," I said, smiling. She pushed back from me, I could feel her legs weakening their hold on me, and she blushed.
"Sorry," She said. Her head had now taken on a shade of red that one should only see on peppers and beautiful, yet embarrassed women.
“For?” I asked.
“Jumping you like this.” She said. Her blazing red ears poked through her hair.
“Why?” I asked. “Didn't you like it? Because I did.” I gave her a fierce grin.
She quickened her pace, getting in front of me as she headed for the couch in the living room. Being careful to keep her back to me as she did. I did hear her let out a little mumble, “Not fair.”
I walked carefully, making sure not to knock anything over. I looked for the sword again, but couldn't find it anywhere. I could remember the last time I’d been there, it had markedly improved. It still wasn't clean by a long shot, but it was far better than it had been just a week ago.
The small paths that Val had made to move through the apartment had grown to roads, and the piles seemed more reasonable, though it might just have been a change of perspective.
One thing I was surprised by was the ping from the house AI, though it probably shouldn’t have. It couldn't tell the difference between the robot that had been living in the apartment for… Wow, 35 years. I hadn't known she’d had my body for so long. It sort of did make sense when I realized that the robot had 15 years of data on her and the MagAI revolt was little more than 20 years ago.
"Hey, Val!" I called out, as I walked over to the couch. It, like the rest of the apartment, had seen a recent upgrade in cleanliness. By that I meant that it wasn't littered with random little objects anymore; instead, it had been recently vacuumed and cleaned.
I sat down on the couch next to Kani, smiling at her. She winked back at me. There was something exciting about her boundless energy. Didn't matter if it was fixing a robot body that was her senior by at least a few years, or if it was meeting her new partner for the second time, by jumping him in a full tackle hug.
Then Val stepped out of her bathroom. I turned to her as I heard the door open. She had talked about this like it was going to be an education in hero work, and she had taken to it with gusto.
She was wearing an almost professional looking skirt suit. Her heels were slightly too high to really be considered professional, her skirt a little too short and way too tight, it did reveal that she didn't have any underwear lines.
Her jacket was open and showed a tight fitting top, that swooped a little too low for a professional look and revealed just a bit too much cleavage. To seem entirely professional at least.
I knew she had more modest looking suits, I had seen her in one at the bank. She was definitely dressing up, I could tell from the house AI. She had pulled her hair back into a severe bun. She had also put on a pair of ‘professor' glasses. It was the kind you'd see a professor in porn wear, not a professor in real life.
She made my simulated heart beat even faster, and my hands itching to grab her. I could hear Kani growl in my ear. "I could just eat her up." She whispered in her best sultry voice. I shivered as I felt her breast press into my back, to points sticking out more apparent than the rest.
"This is going to be a good lesson," I said, with a smile as Val stepped up.
Chapter Forty-Eight
It had been a day and change since my little endeavor out into the world. Today was when Val had invited me over to her apartment, along with Kani to look over strategies and give me some pointers.
After how my session the day before yesterday needed, I decided that I was going to take a day off. All in although I considered it a success. I had gained a little over 300 credits and more than 3000 Tessian points.
Before I gained my power it had taken somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 years to earn 100.000 points. So that day had been well above my average and I was feeling pretty decent about all the little things that I helped with. I thought back on Grandma Blueberry and smiled. She had really been able to help me look at the work in different light. To me it might seem like a boring or inefficient task, but to the boy whose bike was stolen, I truly was a hero.

Chapter Forty-Nine
“Ms. Masterson,” Valeria said, as she stepped fully into the room. “Would you please assist Mr. Mireaux, in setting up a connection with your laptop.”
Her words send a thrill down my spine. I had always thought the idea of a sexy teacher was hot, but right now it was making me positively randy…
Randy, really? What’s wrong with me?
"Yes, Ms. Valencia," Kani called. She stepped around me, trailing a few fingers over my back and shoulder as she passed. She was stopped by Ms. Valencia, as she moved to reach the laptop.
"You know the toll." She said, in a quiet dominating voice., Even from where I was sitting I could see Kani shiver. She raised herself up on her tippy toes and kissed Val. I froze, they had indeed made up. I had thought that there might be some stepping around the issue and awkward conversations, but it seemed they had resolved their issues all on their own.
A moment later, Ms. Valencia pushed a breathless Kani away from her and waved her towards the computer. She quirked an eyebrow at me. I swallowed. Gods, I wanted to do bad things to her.
“It’s ready for you to come and link up,” Kani said, looking over at me. I did notice her eyes briefly catching on ‘Miss’ Valencia’s supreme ass.
I took in a deep breath and got to my feet. I crossed the distance between me and Ms. Valencia in two quick strides.
“Mr. Mireaux,” She whispered seductively, “Do I need to explain the toll to you? Or can you figure it out on your own?”
I licked my lips. She was slightly taller than me, with her heels on. "I think I can manage," I said, my eyes flickering from her eyes to her lips. "Ms. Valencia." I nervously slid a shaking arm around her hip to her lower back then forcefully drew her in as an attempt to hide it. At the same time, I lowered my mouth to hers.
If my heart could still beat, it would have broken through my own chest and probably bruised a few of her ribs, before finally exploding in a gory finale to my life. I had kissed people before, I wasn't that much of virgin. It wasn't like I had a whole lot of experience to draw on either.
What would only have been a few moments, stretched into infinity as I kissed Val for the first time. It wasn't like the kiss she had shared with Kani. Theirs had obviously not been a first kiss. Ours was still forceful, but it was also a lot more tentative. Then she forced her tongue into my mouth, and my world exploded. My mind basically stopped working, and old data took control.
It felt almost like instinct as I fought off the intrusion. There went another few moments with our tongues battling for control before I managed to get control of myself. Reluctantly I pulled away. It wasn't until after I detached from her mouth, that I noticed the raised leg I
was holding, or how she was grinding against my leg.
We both stared at each other for a few moments, trying to gather our wits.
“If you’re finished, then you may help Ms. Masterson with the computer.” Of course, it would be Val who managed to get control over herself first. I saw her settle back into her Ms. Valencia persona.
I nodded and stepped away from her, walking over to where Kani was watching. I stepped over to her and tried to act like she wasn't blushing and staring at me.
"What do I need to do?" I asked her, looking over the computer. I had some experience with them, though most of it was in regards to work. Though I did have some little coding experience, though not enough to make a career out of it.
