"H-Hay . . ." Evan greeted her
That short haired beautiful young woman still eating. For a while she glance at Evan that was standing in front of her with a smile. Then she re-eating her lunch.
"Are you . . . Alone?" Evan asked.
That young woman still quiet.
"May I sit in here?" Evan asked one more time.
She still quiet.
Evan pulls the chair beside him, then he sit down in front of that young woman.
Exactly at that time Aria looks at the man that was staring at her for a long time since before."Please don't bother me."
"Sorry . . . I didn't mean it like that." Evan looks at the table behind him. "There, you can see those boys right?" Evan pointing his index finger toward the number 4 table near a window.
Aria looks at that direction that he meant. There are 4 teenagers in that table, two of those teenagers smiled at her.
"We doing some kind of games, and it turns out that I was lose . . . so, as a punishment. I was forced to greet and be acquainted with you."
Aria cynically smiles. "Stupid." Said her in a low voice.
"H-ha . . . hahahah, please forgive me, yes?" Evan grin "So, what's your name?"
Aria looks around her trying to find something, then. "Waitress! Two more apple juice please." Said Aria to the waitress that walked past her by chance.
"Right." That waitress answered then returns to the kitchen
"You eat a lot, huh?" Evan commented in amazement.
"I will tell you my name if you pay my entire bill." Said Aria.
"Huh . . . “Evan sighed "We can say sorrow comes in battalions, but, well . . . it's alright. What’s your name then?"
"Rosa." Aria answered
"Oh, Rosa.Still in school or college?"
"The deal is just my name, right?" Aria answered while drinking her apple juice that recently arrives.
"How grumpy . . ." Evan smiled. "If so . . . want to order more, Rosa?"
"Never mind, just leave me alone." She looked at Evan directly
Evan sighed for the second time. He lean his head to the chair and folding his arms in front of his chest.
"You are extreme beauty, but your attitude toward me was so cold . . ."
Aria fall silent and only glance toward Evan
"Your blue eyes is beautiful, and so as your hair. Is that genuine hair?"
Immediately Aria stopped eating her food and stare at Evan sharply.
"D-do I say something wrong?" Evan surprised with Aria facial expression that suddenly became fierce and aware. "Do you . . . is it possible? Your hair? Are you bald?" Evan said with serious facial expression and for a few second it changed to stupid smile.
This time Aria was the one that sighed. Aria feels more annoyed toward that man. "You are truly impolite."
Aria think she was found the one that she always looking for. But, seems she was wrong. The man that now in front of her, is no more than stupid idle man that liked to seduce a woman.
"Won't you leave from my face?" Aria raising one of her eyebrow.
"So many question you didn't answer Rosa. and now you want to chase me away? How cruel. Did you not fascinated by me? By my splendid looking appearance." Evan looked at Aria intently.
Aria's body stiffens without any expression. Does this man have a brain?
"Rosa, do you know how many girls that wanted to make me their lover?"
"I'm not interested." Aria answered nonchalantly. She was tired and wanted to kick him in the crotch.
"You are very, very beautiful. I swear to god." Evan smiled "But, you will become more and more beautiful with your white hair."
Her eyes wide open in surprise, she immediately become aware with her surroundings. Aria looked at Evan fiercely then once again looks at her surroundings, to make sure this is not a trap. But no one suspicious was around. They all looks like a common people that know nothing. Meanwhile, that man in front of her smiled calmly and stares at her.
"Hey, how old are you? Must I call you . . . Grandma?" Evan teased
Aria grips the fork in her hand. She really wants to grab that man and drag him to a quiet place with no one around. She wanted to interrogate him and find out the truth about everything. But, looking at this situation that still many people around, Aria can't do anything harsh. She was afraid if that man call his werewolf, and the situation will become even more dangerous if he call that armored giant terrifying monster at that night. Not only will an uproar that will happen, many of innocent people be a victim. And she will lose all her chance to capture him because she will be busy only to fight those monsters.
"What do you think?" Evan stares at Aria, with a sweet smile in his lips.
"Tell me, what your name is?!" Aria looked at him with a sharp eye, as sharp as her words.
"Someone that interest you?"
Aria and Evan look at each other. Different thinking comes across their minds.
"Ah, Alright then Rosa. Thanks and bye." Evan suddenly standing up from his chair. "I still had an appointment, we will chat another time." Evan smiled for the last time then go away from her front.
Aria fall silent in her place. Quietly stare at him from far away. I will not let him get away, not this time. Said Aria inside her mind.
Evan approaching the cashier and fulfilled his promises to pay all of Aria bills, and he was not forget to pay Arif and friends bills. After receiving his money change, Evan returned to Arif and friends table.
"How? Is it good?" Iben asked curiously.
"A fun introduction I could say." Evan answered.
Iben smiled "It's a success then . . . Great, hahah"
For a moment Evan stare at Arif. "How can he eat this much? Tsk . . . tsk . . . tsk “Evan amazed to see Arif appetite. He eat like he was possessed by demon. Arif eat all of food that Evan was ordered before. Even though Evan ordered 3 times more than the amount of people in that table.
"Ah, please ignore this monkey. He knows no shame when it comes to eating." Pandi said.
"Thank you Evan, these foods is delicious." Iben added
Anto nod a few times while taking a final piece of chicken satay that was left in the plate, before Arif take it.
"I must go, Thanks for your suggestion" Evan smiled.
"We are the one that should say thanks." Iben answered
"Okay then, bye!" Evan turned away and leaving those teenagers.
In another table, Aria that since then was observing Evan had thought of a plan. That's why, Aria standing up and following Evan that now was exiting the restaurant door.
Aria walked fast to the restaurant door. But when she was in front of that door, she walked past a beautiful girl that was entering the restaurant. On that moment they look at each other, and suddenly Aria felt her blood reacted and her heart beating hard for the first time. There are some unexplainable feelings that she felt and made her uncomfortable when looked at her eyes.
Aria stopped walking and turns her body toward that girl and Aria found out that she was also looking at her. That girl can also feel that feeling.
"Alicia!" Arif called and waving his hand to that beautiful girl.
Ignoring Aria, that girl named Alicia come near to her love that recently called.
Aria then chooses to ignore her, and return to her objective. To follow and catch Evan that now nearly leaves her sight.
IRISE DELEGNERE
Marsha slamming a pillow to the floor with rage. She sighed. If she knows that witch will coming along and seducing Reyn, she will not ask Reyn to buy explosive ingredients. Now she was confused, how can she stop them to flirting with each other in the living room.
After breathing deep. Marsha builds up her mind to come out from her room. Her eyes wide open and her facial veins tighten, she looked at Reyn that now kissing the witch. Marsha racking her own brain and look around her, then she found a flower vase in the table.
Must I throw this vase to that devil woman head?
Of course, Marsha will not
think twice to do it, she just need a chance. Marsha approaching that flower vase and make it fall to the floor on purpose. It then shattered and let out a loud sound.
Reyn wanted to look at that sound direction and release his lip, but both of Friska arms suddenly hold his head tight to make him constantly kissed her. Reyn can't deny that woman seduction, and choose to ignore that sound.
Friska always know that Marsha loved Reyn. Because of that she tries many things to make Reyn only looking at her. Although Reyn is not her only lover, she will not let go a rich and handsome man like Reyn for Marsha. Besides Friska always like a competition, more difficult someone to get will become more interesting to her.
Marsha growl angrily. HUH! It’s better to throw that vase toward them, damn it! Marsha goes from that room full of spite.
Faisal that still playing an online game stare at Marsha that walk past him. "What's wrong? Are Reinz do something annoying again?"
Marsha jumps to the sofa and sit there. she fold both of her arms below her breast. she glare at Faisal.
"What does Reyn like from that bitch? Stupid bitch!" Said Marsha curtly
Faisal turned, backing his computer and stare at Marsha with mocking grin. "Do you know why? She is sexy and beautiful, that kind of woman excite all adult man."
Immediately Marsha take a sofa pillow beside her and throw it precisely at his Face.
Faisal squeal then taking that sofa pillow, that now near his leg.
"Ass and breast, only that thing is inside man's head. All of man in this world really are stupid!"
"Hey. It's normal for a man. if your way of thinking is applied it will surely halt humanity population in the world, and in the worst case scenario all of human will be extinct, Marsha!" Faisal lecturing Marsha with a serious face
Marsha looked at Faisal with disgust then sighed.
"As I said before, it's better if you fall in love with me. I will always faithful to you, Marsha."
"It's not that easy to change one heart. A man that never fall in love like you, will never know!"
Faisal pout and shrugged his shoulders "Are you sure you can snatch him away from her?"
"Getting rid of her, that is a right choice. Hm?"
Faisal cynically smiled "How? drown her in the sea? look at Reyn, he was perfectly seduced by her. you have no chance . . . "
For a moment Marsha fall silent "Do you believe in the afterlife? If we die together, that devil woman can't bother us ever again. right?"
"You are sick" Faisal shake his head.
Marsha pouting. "What's more we will do a suicide mission, I'm not sure we can survive in that crazy mission."
"If something dangerous happen I surely will help you, I promised." Faisal pointing his index finger toward himself.
"I hope, Reyn that will do it." Marsha hold her chin with both of her hands. then gaze at the floor below her legs with a sad expression.
"Of course he will, as a brother."
Marsha getting angry once again, this time she throw her sport shoes toward Faisal that quickly dodge it.
IRISE DELEGNERE
Evan exits from the restaurant door, Evan known that Aria was following him. He exactly do it on purpose, to make her following him. so that he can talk to her comfortably. He then go into a narrow alley between a two unused buildings, suddenly Aria grab his shoulder and pointing a small knife to Evan's neck.
"Who are you?!" Aria eyes stare at him sharply and it made Evan panic.
Evan stare at a little knife that nearly cut his neck "C-calm down, I . . . I really hate violence." Evan gulped, he doesn't expect her to be this angry.
"Don't try to trick me you bastard!"
"I will explain it to you, so keep that knife away from my neck!"
"You always hunted and always follow me everywhere I go, do you think I can still refrain myself to not hurting you, hah? tell me clearly, what the hell are those creature?!" Aria pushing her knife more and more to Evan's neck.
"Akh!" Evan screamed in pain.
Evan reflexively pulling his head to the back, to prevent that knife digging more to his neck until his head hitting the wall behind him.
"What are you talking about Aria?" Evan said while enduring pain in his head.
Aria growl angrily because she hear her name was said by Evan. "You . . . BASTARD!" Aria put in her knife to its original place and then with a very fast speed she pull Evan shirt then kick him with her knee to his stomach. "You even know my name, scum!"
Evan once again screamed in pain, his whole body become weak and make him kneeling to the ground. both of his hands touching his stomach.
Aria pull his shirt and forced him to look at her face. "What do you want from me? who the hell ordering you to hunt me? Say it!"
"T-this is painful, really. Please stop hurting me." Evan pleaded
However she doesn’t feel any compassion toward him, she even pushing him now to the wall. Evan squealed in pain.
Looking at helpless Evan made her think and doubt this man. Does he really that man? The one that always hunt and targeted her. And she always hunt him back all night since she was coming to this country? If he was that man, she was sure that he can easily fight Aria back. But Evan never made a move and do nothing. However Aria must stay aware, it was possible that this was all just an act to fool her.
"I am different from what you think, please trust me, I just making fun of you bef . . . "
Aria kicked his stomach once again with her right foot. "Don't think you can trick me scum!"
A cold sweat decorating his face. That man enduring the pain. That woman seems can't trust him. The reality is always not like what you think, Evan have a hard time to get close to Aria and he was regretted because he underestimating Aria. This is the worst case scenario, he can feel that he can’t fool around anymore. He decided to tell her everything with his last method.
Still kneeling he holding his stomach with his left hand.
"Do it with your knife." Said Evan, he slowly raising his right hand toward Aria
Aria forehead crinkled in confusion "Huh? What do you mean?"
"You will not believe me if I didn't do this, so do it! But, don't slice it too deep please. It still hurt."
Aria stare at his hand. he wanted me to cut his hand right?
Without thinking twice she cut his hand with his little knife, to answer her curiosity and confusion inside her mind. How shocked she was when looked at Evan's wound that quickly healed, same as her.
"We are the same Aria."
Aria gulped, they looked at each other in silent.
That man trying to stand up "I don't really get what you are talking about before. I never targeted, hunt, or do anything like that to you. I wanted to meet you because . . . This. this was my reason. How many people like us around the world? And . . . I can't even think that we are still a human."
"You . . . How can you find me in this country, and how do you know my name?" Her anger vanished and now was replaced by curiosity.
"I was looking for an information. For people like us that live in a very long time, that much is not really hard, even though many people think that was impossible. Wealth and power, I have everything that I need to do that. And . . . you know how happy I was because I finally can find my own kin." Evan smiled happily.
"S-so . . . you are not one of them?"
"Who?do you mean people from that organization?"
Aria eyes wide open in surprise "Do you know about them?"
Evan shrugged his shoulders. "Not much, I deliberately life in seclusion to avoid them.you can call me a coward, but . . . Don't say you can't feel any pain when you're hurt."
Aria fall silent. Inside her mind, Aria agreed with Evan's word. Although her wound always heal quickly, but she can still feel pain. As a matter of fact even a needle will make her scream if she was pierced by it accidentally.
"I don't knowwhat's your reason, but . . . Isn't it better to hide? don't draw any others attention and stop all of y
our dangerous activity?"
"No, I live not to hide from my fear, no more."
"They are dangerous Aria. It's possible they will capture you and . . . " Evan gulped and cannot continue his word.
"I'm glad I can meet a person that was same as me."
"If so then follow me! We can go anywhere we want together. I will protect you and I will not let them to catch you."
"I have my own business, Evan."
"Aria . . . "
Aria cut Evan's word on purpose "Tell me how much information you have about that organization."
Evan shake his head slowly "Not much. They are really hard to track. I heard, they are a large scale organization in this world and was located in every country. I still trying to find out more about them.
"Evan could you please gave your information about them to me? I wanted to find them as fast as possible."
"Okay, when I have that important information I will tell it to you. But . . . Are you sure not to go with me? you will be safe with me Aria. I have a comfortable place to live and I will fulfill all your needs.
"Thank you. But, I don't want them to find you too."
"If there's something happen, please call me." Evan searching his pocket and then giving Aria his name card, Aria immediately take it.
They smiled at each other and then walk separately to opposite direction
Darkness Past
Ichsan stare at the bird that imprisoned in a cage, that bird lived in luxury. A luxurious cage that never been exposed to sunlight and rain, with a delicious fruits that available inside there. But however comfortably it living there, who still wanted to have an imprisoned life, without feeling a good freedom?
"Ichsan!" Someone called him
Ichsan stopped to look at that bird in front of him and look at where that voice was. A man in age of 50th years old standing behind him.
"Uncle" Ichsan turn his body and smile to his uncle.
"Long time no see." that man replying with a smile.
Ichsan approaching his uncle and greet him. "Yes, it was a long time. Two days is it?" Ichsan laughed.
Burhan was his name. He then laughed too "Come on in!" he said.
Ichsan following his uncle entering his house, and then they sit down in a coach in the living room. They talked there.
