Whose soldier will not be annoyed with all of that? When the other working hard, guarding and training strictly. Iskandar were instead sitting in comfy chair, sleep or even fooling around at the city with Sekar. Not only that, in a short time, in the age that some could say very young, the great general bestowing Iskandar the first lieutenant rank. It was natural many soldiers detest Iskandar. But they didn’t have any courage to perturb Iskandar whose rank is higher than them.
Those soldiers know if Iskandar is considered as one of skilled and talented soldier. Many medals and trophy could Iskandar got. But an envy inside the other soldiers heart, made them could not accept and believe if Iskandar is as great of what the rumor says. It is possible if Iskandar got all of that medal because he was known to be the great general nephew which he trust. To steal the great general attention which many people adore, those people decide to make Iskandar as the winner and overthrow the other contestant.
All this time, only a few people that have worked together in mission with Iskandar. So, it was fair if most soldier didn't know about Iskandar greatness. And from those few people, only 1 or 2 people could win Iskandar trust.
"Oh, by the way my rank is now are Major, so all of you is not allowed to defy my orders." Said Iskandar then.
The soldiers inside Iskandar APC glance to each other. A surprised feeling and dislike was clearly drawn at their face. How could a young man such as Iskandar could easily get a rank promotion? Whilst all of them that have older age and long-serving as a soldier was hard to get that promotion.
Yes, all of that is because Iskandar had a large contribution. Iskandar could get the confidential information about Elysion organization facility that had been keep a secret by their own government. The great general Raden Kusuma immediately promote Iskandar rank to be a major more or less 10 minutes ago because of that.
Iskandar was given a full authority to lead one platoon of soldier which consist of 50 soldiers to destroy that facility.
For approximately in the last 5 years Raden Kusuma searching the information about that organization. That is because there is many report of missing persons. For several times Raden Kusuma received the information if some of his subordinates including Iskandar succeed to thwart a human trafficking from foreign country. Those people said they wanted to come to this country because they received a good job offer.
Ignoring disliking gaze from around him, Iskandar continuing his words. "We will attack one of important research facility of Elysion. The main facility which the largest in the south-east Asia. This facility width is more or less 4000 hectare in underground. The entrance is at 9 separate places, if we draw a line from those 9 points, we could draw a big circle that connect to those points. As what you could see in the monitor."
All soldier looking to the monitor. There is a slight distrust inside their minds. But if what Iskandar says is untrue, it will be impossible that the great general giving Iskandar an authority to lead 1 platoon of professional soldiers. This kind of things were never happened before.
All soldiers paying attention to the location map in the display monitor thoroughly. Hard to believe if in the city underground, was located a 4000 hectare in width and 8 Kilometer in depth facility. That facility is consist of 3 sector and 7 level, to reach that place, they must choose 1 out of 9 entrance.
When seen from the military base location, the nearest entrance is from Franksfur hotel, the second is Mistra Medika Hospital, third is News agency, fourth is Telecommunications office building, fifth is the newspaper office building Jarlot Press, sixth is Kimia Mandiri pharmaceutical company, seventh is Sugar factory, eight is Suryanata mall, and the last one is the governor office building. And that means the government is cooperating to hide that enormous facility.
This facility had a 3 sector that consist of first, second, and third sector. All of this sector is connected by an express train but only at the first level. Every sector had different research complex. First sector mainly for researching weapons or war machinery, the second for researching otherworldly creatures, and the last is a power plants and data storage.
Level 1 from this main facility is a resting place apartment for common employees. All 3 sector had this building and each sector had 3 block and those block linked by a massive aula. In each block had 30 floors and in each floor had 60 apartment room. The total number of room inside this level is 16.200 room. Surely an enormous amount of people could stay inside it.
All 3 sectors also had level 2. But every sector had a different function and had different research complex. First sector mainly for researching weapons and war machinery, the second for researching otherworldly creatures, and the last is a power plants and data storage.
Level 3 consist of only 2 sectors. And in this level first and second sector is merged to be one large testing ground. This place is for testing a weapon and otherworldly creature control.
Level 4 consist of 2 sectors. For sector 1 has a function to store a dead body and warehouse of weaponry. While the sector 2 is a main prison building to imprison human or test sample.
Level 5 consist of 2 sectors. This level is also merged to be one large monster cage and it divided by west and east wing.
Level 6 is only consist of 1 sector and all of it is administration office complex and also the working room of Elysion high ranking official.
Level 7 is only consist of 1 large sector. the entirety of this level is mimicking the surface city and been used by Elysion high ranking official to stay. Iskandar was certain if the leader of the south-east Asia facility is inside this level.
"This main facility is located underground. Franksfur hotel is the nearest entrance from our base. The distance is only 8 kilometer. Besides if we passes through that entrance, we will be faster to arrive at sector 3 level 2. There, we can found the main server and a geothermal power plants. Our objective is to destroy it all, and at a time capturing their leader alive."
That is what Iskandar planned. Destroying the electricity energy source will made the people inside facility panicked and less aware. If so, Iskandar will easily infiltrate the rest of facility and could find the leader immediately. In this enormous facility can be confirmed if there were many armed guards. It will be unfavorable for Iskandar if his troops was eliminated to face those guards. Iskandar is also unsure about their powers. So the decision to take out the power is the most profitable for him.
For the data that Reyn sent, there is some werewolves photo, war bear and other strange creatures. Iskandar was sure that it will be not easy to kill them all. Iskandar is never face even one of those strange creature, that's why Iskandar cannot be certain about their powers. It does not mean if Iskandar was scared or not confident with his skill and ability. Iskandar trusted his skills. Easily he could kill those creatures. But that is only for Iskandar, the other soldier is a different story. If those creatures were so many, it will be very dangerous to the other soldiers.
Iskandar doesn't care about the other soldier's life. Things that he care is only the smoothness of mission which he leads. But for a great leader, even though he could finish the mission but if he lost too many of his soldiers life, all of it could not be called a success. Iskandar must bring back as many soldier as possible and with that the great general Raden Kusuma will more proud of him.
"Sir, why did the great general targeting this facility?" Asked one of the soldier which are actually 10 years older than Iskandar.
The next slide appeared. There is some werewolves picture with its explanation in the display monitor. Information that Iskandar have is the same information that ever shown by Hafiz toward Reyn and the other. And at this time Reyn intentionally sent it to Iskandar because Reyn know if Iskandar for the long time searching the same things.
"People that was informed or reported missing, had been used as a research test subject. They are not really missing, but they are changed form into those mindless monsters."
All soldiers inside every APC that looking at the pictu
re in the display monitor and at the same time hearing Iskandar explanation from their radio is surprised. A few second after that was seen an extreme anger in their face.
"You all should not die when facing them." Iskandar reminding the other soldiers although inside his mind he was no more than taunting them.
All soldiers fell silent. Nevertheless after knowing the importance of their mission, there is no fear inside their minds that could waver their spirit as to destroy that damned facility.
"Shortly we'll arrived. Get ready!", Iskandar ordered.
The other soldiers that disliking Iskandar brushed off their hatred for the success of their mission. Without any doubt, all soldiers immediately put up ready stance, following their field superior command which his ages is relatively young.
One of APC that driven by those soldiers break through the crossbar and made the security guards inside post fled in fear. 5 other APC followed. Upon arriving in hotel front yard, without hesitation 2 of APC driver break though the glass wall of Franksfur hotel almost simultaneously. Meanwhile the other APC stopped in flower garden exactly in front of the glass wall.
Hotel employees and also the hotel guest that in the ground floor was shocked. Especially when all soldier inside that APC coming out and directly pointing their weapon toward every people. They was scared and showing signs of surrender. What was happened actually? Why those soldiers suddenly appeared, and why did they surround this 5 star hotel which far from conflict?
Iskandar accompanied by 5 soldiers going directly to receptionist desk and the other soldiers preparing their additional equipment for example like a bomb, spare bullets, etc. Doesn't care if that female receptionist in front of them is only a common employee that know nothing, Iskandar threaten her by pointing his gun.
"Where is your manager?!", Iskandar asked
"H-he's in the back," That female receptionist answered with trembling body.
"Guide us to him!!"
Because she doesn't want to lose her life, she comply to Iskandar request by guiding him to the hotel's kitchen.
When they entering the kitchen door, hotel manager was seen having a conversation with one of chef that age is 50 years old which looked like a senior chef.
Without saying anything Iskandar pull that hotel manager clothes and throw him till that manager hit a kitchen stove. Iskandar approaching the manager and stopped exactly in front of him.
"Code," Iskandar ask without courtesy.
That manager startled and then confused. "W-what do you mean? Why did I treated like this?"
Iskandar shoot his gun at kitchen stove, made all chef inside the kitchen is surprised and take further steps back cause of fear.
"Co-de!" Once again Iskandar repeating his word. This time his voice becoming more assertive.
"Wa-Wait, what are you talking about?", That manager pretended not to know but both of his eyes moving like he wanted to avoid any eye contact to Iskandar. Implied that he was lying.
Iskandar could read that manager facial expression precisely. "Is it same?"
That manager surprised. He fell silent and let out a cold sweat.
Bang! at that moment, Iskandar shoot the manager heads.
Every female chef inside the kitchen who saw that incident become freaked out, screamed and cried hysterical.
"The code is same. Let's go!" Iskandar commanded.
Ignoring other people that cursing Iskandar action and looked at him with hatred, together with his soldiers Iskandar leaving the kitchen in hurry.
When he reach the hotel aula, Iskandar immediately give an order for his soldiers to assemble. Iskandar informed them what will they do next and give them a secret code to Elysion facility that they should press when inside the lift. That code obtained by Iskandar from Reyn.
Afterwards, the number of Iskandar troops whose numbered up to 52 person divided to 4 teams. Iskandar together with team 2 heading to the lift in the hotel north section while team 3 and 4 heading to the lift in the hotel west section.
When they are inside the lift, Iskandar did many mistakes. So as the other soldiers in the other lift. Iskandar tried to press the floor button that he got from Reyn several times in many ways. But for several times as well he just only accessing the hotel floors and still can't access the Elysion underground facility which they look for. Iskandar become quiet for a moment, thinking where his fault at.
"Sir, we are not in the wrong place, right?", One of soldiers asked.
"What if those information that you got is a false information?", The other soldier that standing behind Iskandar and also disliking him smiled cynical.
That senior soldiers which now already 44 years old purposively wanted to shatter Iskandar confidence. If they could not arrive at their destination and moreover if that information Iskandar got is only a sham, he would be sure Iskandar will be humiliated. In addition, it was impossible if an underground facility exist in their still developing country that everything they had lags behind from the other country.
But unfortunately that soldiers word could not affect Iskandar minds even for a little. He even completely ignored it. Iskandar keep focusing to what he thought. Suddenly, Iskandar found some method that he still not tried. Iskandar try to put all his finger into the floor number that he wanted to press. And then, simultaneously he pressed those button. Felt that he found the right method, Iskandar informed that toward the other soldier inside other lift.
Lift run for about 5 minutes. After that the door was opened and they found a long corridor different from what they saw at the hotel before. All soldiers surprised, that corridor was illuminated by a bright light and all of its part is white colored.
2 guards wearing a black suit that sighting those soldiers immediately lift their weapon. But in one quick movement Iskandar shoot his rifle toward those guards and made them dead crashing to the floor.
By now Iskandar was entering the sector 3 in level 1 of Elysion main facility. Similar for what Reyn and the other found, Iskandar was also found a guards post not far from the lift. Iskandar soldiers securing that post by killing all the guards within. In the opposite side of the rail, the guards in there which inside their post immediately shoot at them with machine gun. There is 4 post at that place. Iskandar and the other soldier taking cover behind the guard post. Many common employee running around at that place. They all run in panic toward the big door at the opposite side from where Iskandar was.
After securing the place where they are, the other soldier in team 3 and 4 which leaded by Anton, Iskandar trusted companion. Commanded his team to shoot their rifle at those guards that by now shooting the Iskandar team. In quick pace they could kill those guards inside 2 post. The guards in the other 2 post surprised to see that their enemy has a large number become panicked. They try to call for reinforcement. But they could not, all of their communication device aren't working. And then Iskandar with his team finish the other post. Anton was using communication jammer, and he ordered one of his soldier to turn it on.
Anton was accustomed to work together with Iskandar, that is not a big problems for him. That second lieutenant knows how Iskandar works and know exactly about Iskandar greatness. Even though Anton age is older 5 years than Iskandar. He still respect Iskandar that always become his commander. They often do a secret and dangerous mission together. Thanks to Iskandar ability to lead his troops, they were never failed. In Anton eyes, Iskandar is outstanding soldier.
Some of Elysion guards that taking cover in the waiting Area surprised to see that, they tried to attack those soldiers without thinking, and in only second all of them died. Some employee that was left there crouching in fear. And some of them running to attack those dangerous soldier because of desperation.
"Kill whoever that oppose us." Iskandar ordered.
The employee that opposing was quickly eliminated. Shortly all soldiers assembled, they are waiting for Iskandar order. Some of them wondered, how could in this country underground been found the train station? They
could see the railway extended far to the darkness inside of tunnel. Iskandar then ordered them to march toward the large glass door in the opposite side of railway. Everyone of them entering that door and stunned to see the corridor, it’s not as bright as before but it still looks luxurious.
Iskandar want to find the resting place in this level 1 as fastest as possible, so they could access the level 2. Eventually they was arrive in the massive aula that looked like a mall.
Again those soldiers surprised, they saw many store, restaurant, food stand and luxurious resting place which filled by many people that seemed like an employee of Elysion. Those people relaxed, converse to each other, laughing, eating at restaurant, reading news or even dating inside this massive mall. Truly hard to believe that this kind of place is in underground, their surprise is similar to what Reyn and his group experience when they at the level 1 in sector 2.
Those soldiers keep walking with caution. Their unusual appearance made many people there looked at them with strange looks. Many of them whispered to each other, they thinks those soldiers is a new guards at this facility.
6 guards that was seen far away from the soldiers place shooting at them while taking cover near the building giant column and stores.
Iskandar and his soldiers immediately taking cover. A shootout was happened for some times till they kill many victim from any strayed bullets. People that were still at that premises run in panic while screaming. They wanted to leave as fast as possible from the aula, and many store owners closing their shop and hide inside.
Watching all of his friend died, one remaining guard terrified and trembling, he stepped back and tried to escape. But Iskandar immediately roll to the front and shoot that guards legs and hand that holding a gun.
Iskandar approaching that guard in hurry and then step to that guard wounded hand and made him screaming in pain.
