David smiled. "Thank you, you are truly like an angel for me."
Lisa smiled happily because she receiving a praise. "David, can Lisa take out her wings?", Lisa asked.
David nodded, he stopped to caress Lisa head and somewhat moved to further distance. "Of course dear."
Lisa straighten her body and suddenly a pair of wings come out from her back. That little girl sighed in relieve and she seems really happy.
"You weren't showing it to your brother, right?", David asked.
Lisa shook her head. "Nope, not yet. Lisa already promised to David. But, Lisa wanted to show it to brother. Sometime Lisa could not hold it, its itchy and feel sore, make Lisa wanted to take it out."
David smiled. "We do not want your brother to be surprised. I will found a right time to tell him about your wings. Lisa can hold it right?"
Lisa nods innocently. She smiled while stretching her wings.
Without them knowing, Hafiz still following David car by a little far distance. In the way, Hafiz looked around and made confused by the situation around the city that different from usual. The city that usually crowded now was quiet and not even one car that run in the road. This is definitely strange.
Even though Hafiz was seldom to go out and always spend his time together with Lisa inside the house, but he know this kind of situation were never happened before. Where did these people go? The shopping and office complex was closed. Theme park is also closed and no one walked in the sidewalk.
When they are at the end of city limits, David turn to right. Because David car is the only car that run in the road, even though at faraway places, Hafiz could still saw where David went.
Hafiz stopping his car beside skyscraper and intentionally not following David to turn right. Meanwhile 100 meter later, David car was stopped in crossroad because the traffic light changed to red. Hafiz has stop to pay attention toward David and changed his view to a lot of people that walked toward a terrain across the road in front of him.
What are they doing in there? Thought Hafiz, frowning his forehead while staring at those people.
All of people in this city are coming from every direction toward a massive building which located in the middle of that terrain. Not even one of them using any car or other transportation vehicle. All of them walked by feet in hurry as if they were hunted by something.
Suddenly a knocking sound was heard on the car window. Hafiz daydream was ended, he lowering his window and greeted by the guards that wearing a black suit.
"What's wrong?", Hafiz asked.
"Sir, please park your car there!", That guard pointed to the parking lot direction, exactly near the skyscraper in Hafiz right side.
"Actually . . . What's happened?" Hafiz was confused and curious.
"The terrorist already at level 6, Sir. All of them is very dangerous that's why you should enter the shelter sir."
Hafiz frown his eyebrows. Terrorist? Hafiz becoming more confused. What does that guard mean by terrorist?
"Sir!!", That guard called Hafiz while knocking at the car window gently.
Hafiz looked at that guard. "Okay, I understand. But, I still had some important matter, there's something I must take. Soon I will come back here to enter the shelter."
That guard nodded understood. "Okay, Sir" He stepped aside from Hafiz car.
Hafiz returned to look toward the crossroad, but David car is already vanished. Without Hafiz realizing the red light changed to green and David car is gone. Hafiz immediately drive his car slowly. Many people around the road and some of them tried to cross. With this condition, Hafiz was also sure if David didn't go too far, his car was surely run slowly. Hafiz doesn't know where will David destination be, but he could guess to where he went. So he have no need to worry.
5 minutes later, Hafiz found David car. That car is newly arrived in front of parliament building which size is very large.
Hafiz stopped his car a bit far from there, and immediately sneak between buildings. He walked slowly and tried to approach David car as close as possible.
David intention to go to parliament building is for a meeting with the other high ranked officer in organization. They must further discuss this problem that now they experience. How was the exact action they must choose and decide upon.
Of course Hafiz doesn't know that David intention is. Hafiz is becoming more confused. Aren't David taking Lisa to do a medical check-up? Then why are both of them in here? For what purpose did David bring Lisa to parliament building? And what are those terrorist which mentioned by that guard earlier?
Without realizing Hafiz is following him, David came out from the car and then followed by Lisa.
Lisa take a step beside David, they walked hand in hand toward the building. Suddenly Lisa was stopped. She fell silent for a little long time while looking toward the artificial sky.
David that realized Lisa changed behavior is also stopped and looked at Lisa. "What's wrong Lisa?"
Lisa stopped to look at the artificial sky and changed to look at faraway place. "Lisa can sense a danger there." Said her softly.
David surprised.
Lisa looked toward David. "Can Lisa go look?"
David quiet for a moment and then answered. "Yes, please Lisa.", David asked.
Lisa nodded. Not long after that, her pair of wings which she had hide earlier comes out from her back. Lisa stretching her wings and suddenly she flap it several times and fly to the sky, she flying high to a place that earlier made her feel uncomfortable.
Hafiz eyes widen in disbelief. His heart was jumped from its place. His eyes widely open, staring to the artificial sky without blinking. From behind the building, he could see her clearly. Lisa is flying, his sister have a wings that he never know before. Hafiz is becoming more and more confused with what was happened until made him clueless for what to do.
IRISE DELEGNERE
Arrived in level 6, Aria and other was surprised because the electricity at level 6 is still active. All of them exiting the lift and walked forward until they comes at intersection. They decide to walk forward and found a writing sign that tell 'Employee working room' which was displayed above the large door.
All of them put up ready stance. Cautiously, one of mercenary opened the door slowly. That mercenary pointed his weapon toward the room and surprised to see if there are no employees inside that room.
That room is vacant. The design of that room is similar like a common workplace. Desks and chairs that arranged neatly, only divided by a thin partition that made by plywood and that room can contain at least dozens of working employees.
That mercenary goes inside that room first then followed by other. After they were sure if that room is secure, they lowering their weapons and put up a stand by position.
Reyn turn toward Marsha that stand beside him. "Marsha, check that computer. Find out if we are at level 6 or not."
"Okay." Marsha answered.
Marsha approaching one of active computer which was close to her. That computer was still on as if it was leaved in hurry by the person that own it. Marsha did it like she was ordered, she doesn't need a long time to find the location map of level 6 structure. Marsha turned that computer display monitor and show it to Reyn.
"Seems like we are spot on big bro." Said Marsha while glancing at Reyn for a moment.
Reyn bowed half of his body to the front and then observing that map which Marsha found.
Level 6 is a high rank and middle rank employees working place which consist of 5 floor. Administration office is at floor 1, 2 and 3 while a databank and reserve generator is at floor 4 and 5. Also there is a large hall for meeting in floor 3. For floor 1 and 2 was consisted of 5 working room that was divided by a wall.
"Look at this big bro!" Marsha pointed to something in the display monitor. "There was an express lift that connecting all level. With this lift we can go to all level that we wanted."
Reyn especially Aria was surprised.
"But, there is no informat
ion about that in our data."
"It is possible if the data that we receive is out to date. And perhaps, only high ranking officer or important people that known about it." Marsha believes.
Marsha get back to tinker with that computer and she found some information that could strengthen her opinion. "Read this big bro."
Reyn look carefully at those important information that referred by Marsha. From that information, Reyn are able to know if the workers at level 1 till level 5 that was only considered as a common employee is prohibited to enter level 6 and 7 without any permission from high ranked guards in those level. But for the high ranked officer and important people that stayed at level 7, they had a special authorization to access all level without even need for permission. And as what Marsha said, Elysion structure maps along with the information they got at level 1 is out to date.
"Then, where is that express lift?" Reyn asked.
Marsha clicked the map images to enlarge some images part to clarify the writing inside that map. "Located in the far side of this corridor, precisely at our right side, for 100 meter in distance."
"I will check to it." Said one of mercenary.
Reyn straighten his body then looked at that mercenary." Please do."
That mercenary nods and then he walked and entering another room beside the room where they was.
"If we can found that lift, we have no need to go to floor 5 in this level and we could directly go to level 7." Said Aria.
Reyn nodded in agreement. "You are right." Reyn back to look at Marsha. "Look for other information, perhaps we could get another useful information."
Marsha once again nods. She tried to concentrate to the monitor in front of her and she tried to ignore the pain at her backs which are now coming back.
Meanwhile at the mercenary side which now are walking alone manage to find the express lift. After making sure if that lift could be used, he wanted to go back to the employee working room. But when he still halfway, suddenly he could see a silhouette far behind him. That mercenary turn around and shoot to that silhouette that actually a person.
A metal clashing sound was heard. The target that shoot by that mercenary slightly stepped backwards. For a while that mercenary was amazed, staring at his enemies that wearing a specialized armored suit that made from metal. That armor covering all that person body part, makes him looked like a futuristic robot. It was truly wonderful and at a time it also terrifying.
That armored man goes forward. He approaching that mercenary who had made him surprised.
That mercenary fired his weapon using burst mode, but with a quick movement that armored man dodged to the left and right. Realizing if his bullet can't penetrate his enemy armor, that mercenary become panic and trembled.
When their distance becoming close, without mercy that armored man hitting that mercenary chin till it broke.
That mercenary body is flew far and passing through the employee working room then he crashing to the rows of employee desk.
Reyn and the other was surprised. At once they looked at where that sound originated.
The armored man walked into the employee working room. He approaching his target earlier and then firing his gun toward him, he doesn’t care if his target is already died because of his hard punch.
3 mercenary that was left become panic. All of them aiming their weapons and firing it at that armored man which was looked very strong.
That armored man turn his head toward the mercenaries. He turn his body and walked slow toward them, he smiled sarcastically behind his helmet. He thinks, first he will kill all those soldiers, and then 2 man behind them, after that maybe he will play with those 2 weak woman.
A specialized armored suit that he wore makes him confident. He feel that no one could defeat him. If he wants, in a flash he can defeat all of his enemies. But he intentionally do that, walking slowly toward them and giving them fear before their inevitable death.
Cannot hold her patience, Aria that since before only watching immediately takes her magnum pistol and aimed it precisely to that armored man head.
Bang! Bang!
With 2 bullets, Aria powerful pistol is not only made that armored man shocked, it succeed to penetrate his helmet easily and pierced through his brain. Makes that armored man head shattered and his body fall to the floor at that second.
Those 3 mercenaries can only gulped to see Aria. They are dumbfounded without any will to say anything.
"Marsha, hurry. Find some information concerning level 7!", Reyn ordering.
Marsha complying.
Reyn, Aria, Zafar and those 3 mercenaries approaching that armored man corpse. They stares at that man with the same thought. Confused and curious.
"What in the world is this?", Zafar asked.
"I will try to check to their files." One of mercenary in Gamma team that are still alive checked to his computer tablet and he immediately found out about that armor. "A specialized armored suits, developed in weapons and war machinery research facility at level 2 in sector 1. This suits are named to ancient Greek god mythology, that is Ares. And its name is Ares black guard." Said that mercenary.
"Ares black guard are not only can protect their user from certain bullets, or any harming force. But it can also strengthen the user muscle and made them so they can move fast and unhindered. The helmet that was carefully designed by scientist had sensory booster installed. Exactly at the helmet visor it can increase the user eye sight, and also it have a motion detector, night vision, and thermal vision. Their hearing is also enhanced, they can hear to faraway place as they wishes. Other than that Ares black guard is monitoring their user vital sign, it made sure if its user is already dead or severely wounded. They call this mode a life sign indicator."
"This is truly a dangerous equipment, we must be careful." Said Reyn.
"Oh, one more thing. The unit that using this equipment is called SPEAR unit. They are the elite guards that protecting Elysion high ranked officer."
After giving Reyn and the other a lecture, that mercenary fell silent for a long time thinking about his own words. There is something strange from the words written at his tablet, he checked it one more times to clarify, what does that life sign indicator mode meant? That mercenary keep thinking and suddenly he opened his eyes wide because he now realized. If his supposition was true, that indicator could give their comrades a signal whether the other user is still alive, died, or only wounded.
"Arms at ready!" Aria let out a warning.
Not even had a time to tell what's on his minds that mercenary lift his weapons, Aria with her sharp instinct could sense a danger approaching them. Seems like the inconvenience that mercenary felt has become reality.
SPEAR commander was surprised to see one of his unit member life sign is disappearing. He tried to call his disappeared subordinates for several times to confirm. But there is no response. Because of that he immediately order 5 of total 9 of his subordinates that patrolling in floor 1 at level 6 to check on that disappeared man. The commander using the last coordinate of that man as a reference.
Aria and the other run behind rows of desks. They hide there in ready to fire position.
Marsha immediately rotate the display monitor, she tried to found the information while at the same time hiding behind the desk.
They are waiting, a second, 2 second, 3 second until the count of 10, at last 5 SPEAR soldier appeared in front of the large door.
Aria with the last of her bullet inside fired at one of them.
Those SPEAR soldiers are startled. He who had been shot at the head fall to the floor, but he still fine even though the helmet is cracked. He was a bit dizzy because of the strong force that hit him, he shook his head to move away the dizziness in his head.
Looking at what happened to their friends, 4 other SPEAR soldiers immediately hide behind the desk and firing their weapons at their enemies who also been hiding behind the desk.
"We found some intruder, Sir. Over!" One of SPEA
R soldiers reported back to his unit commander.
"Eliminate all of them and then report back to me, over." The commander answered.
"Yes, Sir!" That SPEAR soldier nodded while shooting his weapon to Reyn.
One of mercenary throwing a smoke grenade toward SPEAR soldiers. At 1 second interval his friends throwing a fragmentation grenade. An explosion was occurred and they managed to kill one of SPEAR soldiers.
After seeing their friend died, SPEAR soldiers are thinking to press forward and attack them directly, they have an advantage in close combat because of their armor. Long range combat is disadvantageous to them because they didn't bring their full equipment.
One of Spear soldier that nearly killed by Aria earlier are running forward leading his friends, their movement is truly fast and at only second count he already in front of one Reyn mercenaries and he managed to stab his knife precisely at that mercenary heart.
2 other mercenaries tried to help his friend that been stabbed by shooting all their bullet toward that SPEAR soldier armor, but even with AP bullets, they still can’t pierce their enemies cracked helmet. Both of those mercenaries becoming panicked.
Reyn and Zafar was also tried to fire their sub-machinegun toward the other SPEAR soldiers, and the results is the same and Reyn got a grazed wound exactly at his right shoulder.
Aria become furious. Her eyes turn to red and at that second she pull her giant sword from behind her back. She jump over the desk and immediately cut one of SPEAR soldiers head that unrealized about Aria strength.
That SPEAR soldier which killed one of Reyn mercenaries is killed. His head is fall to one of the desk.
Then Aria targeting another SPEAR soldier. She approaching one of nearest soldier and swing her sword toward that soldier.
That armored man could dodge Aria strike with good reflexes and fast movement.
Aria then kicked his chest and made him nearly fall, using that chance Aria cut his stomach till it split into 2 parts. Blood spurting from that SPEAR soldier body and his blood manage to hit a little part of Aria face.
Watching what Aria can do, 2 SPEAR soldier that was left become panic. They looked at Aria like a monster. No beautiful woman can swing that giant sword and have a glowing red eyes like a devil.
