  Reyn sighed short. "Just go, go!"

  Iskandar leaving a faint smile before he walked away. He glanced to his back with serious expression. "Young miss, I trust you, please do it." Said him specially toward Aria.

  Aria keeps silent. She was wrong if she thought if Iskandar underestimating her.

  After Iskandar and his soldier go, Reyn asking Aria. "How will you do it? We didn’t have weapon anymore."

  "I will do it, with or without weapons," Said Aria full of conviction.

  Every person inside there are dumbfounded.

  That is not the kind of answer that Reyn wanted. That man wanted more logical answer. Aria is indeed strong and will not die only because of a few bullets. But, things they will face now are a giant dragon, a terrifying creature that able to shoot a lightning and enjoying human flesh. In that dragon eyes Aria are just like an insect. Impossible for insect to kill a human.

  Aria take a step outside the restaurant and running. Only supplied with courage and recklessness, she go alone toward the skyscraper building where the dragon was.

  Reyn and the other sighed when Aria leaving.

  "Is that young woman delirious? No one from you forbid her?" Ichsan commented in confusion.

  Zafar, Reyn and Marsha didn't answer. All of them know, it will be useless even all of them forbid her. That woman is a super hard headed woman that always acted reckless and never thinking things through. Yes, Aria did it surely because she felt strong and invincible. Moreover, Reyn and the other have no clue for what to do. Who else could defeat that dragon except Aria? Even one bullets could kill Reyn and the other.

  "T-that . . . !" Marsha pointing to some place. Her face strained and her eyes widely open. "Big bro . . . That!"

  Reyn squinted his eyes. He and the other looked toward the direction where Marsha pointed. At once all of them shocked.

  From their hiding place, they could see werewolves emerged one by one from massive hole at the destroyed governor office building. Exactly when they are at the surface, all of them scattered to every direction.

  "How the hell could they escaping?", Not even a moment Reyn releasing his view toward those werewolves.

  Those werewolves keep coming out, 1, 2, 3, and even 5 of them all at once coming out from that hole continuously.

  Marsha trembled in fear. "Big bro . . . What should we do?", Said Marsha in panic.

  Reyn were also confused. He wasn't sure how to act. They had no decent weapon to survive, moreover to fight.

  "I'm not crazy enough to suicide," Said Ichsan. "My brain is still normal." Ichsan remembered Aria.

  "It's better if we stay here." Zafar put up a suggestion.

  Reyn nodded in agreement. "Right. If we force ourselves to come out at this times, we will be their dinners."

  For a while all of them were still hiding while observing the werewolves movement. If they do a count, their number is now more than dozens. And they keep coming out from that hole without any sign to stop. It is truly dangerous if it keeps like this, those werewolves numbers could only further complicate the situation.

  Suddenly, at the distance they could see 40 soldiers that comes from toward the road at left side of the governor office building. They are the ground troops of national army which was Iskandar meant. Other than them, there also many group of troops that dispatched, but all of them was separated and comes from different direction in accordance with their base location.

  Seems like those soldiers still not realizing the threatening danger around. All of them keeps marching full of confidence.

  2 werewolves which looking at them from far immediately approaching them. They are hungry because for a long time they were imprisoned and not fed properly. They need a fresh meat with fresh blood, and they really wanted to eat those tasty looking soldiers.

  Those soldiers surprised to see them, instinctively all of them aiming their weapons toward monsters that running to them, when they are in effective firing range, all of those soldiers firing their weapons. Because those werewolves rained by bullet and some of it hitting their vital, both of those werewolves died without any opportunity to taste those soldiers flesh.

  "W-What are these?", One of soldiers asked while touching werewolf corpse.

  "Did these horrifying monster the culprit that terrorizing the city?" The other soldiers also throwing a question that no one know the answer.

  "Keep cautious! We had no information about the enemy numbers," Said the commander of that soldiers.

  Those soldiers continuing their march, and when they are near the massive hole in the governor office building, they are once again surprised when found out if a lot of werewolves come out from that massive hole.

  "Wait, seems like that hole is their nest. It be best if we retreated from this place. We must take their large number into consideration. All troops follow me!" The commander giving an order while turn around to where they comes.

  Those soldiers turned around following their commander. But, some of werewolves that was recently came out from the hole accidentally saw them. At once, dozens of werewolves chasing toward them and attacking them fiercely.

  Reyn, Zafar, Marsha and Ichsan had cold sweat. Even so, this is their one and only chance to come outside from this building. Deciding to hide in the building near that hell hole is the same as suicide. Eventually those werewolves will found them if they keep hiding there.

  In addition, Reyn can't let Aria to fight alone. He didn't want to be a coward. He will help Aria as best as he could, even though he didn't know how. Even Zafar and Marsha also thinks the same as Reyn.

  No other way for those soldiers except to fight those werewolves. They shoot their weapons as best as they could. All of them felt the same difficulties while fighting those werewolves because they are only equipped by a normal bullet. They need hundreds of bullets to bring down one of werewolf. The battle that happened is one-sided. A few soldiers that still inexperienced are fall victim to those werewolves savageness.

  Those soldiers formation was broken and many of them separated. Some of them running toward Reyn direction while the other go to another direction. All of them are running while keep shooting those werewolves that pursuing.

  12 soldiers running past the restaurant where Reyn was hiding. They was pursued by 7 werewolves. They shooting blindly toward those werewolves, and managed to kill one of them but they must barter its life with 3 of their friends life.

  At that times Reyn come out from their hiding place. Taking the weapons of dead soldiers and helping soldiers to shoot at the werewolves.

  Zafar was also did the same thing as Reyn, he also takes the weapons of dead soldier and then immediately hide behind a car. From behind that car, he shoot one werewolf precisely at its head. Only by shooting 4 normal bullets in the vital area, Zafar succeed to kill that werewolf.

  Meanwhile, Marsha and Ichsan slowly sneaking out from that restaurant. For them that was not skilled in shooting, the best way for them is to remain silent and out of sight.

  From far distance, 5 enemy reinforcement suddenly appeared. All of it running toward Reyn and soldiers that now was still busy to defeat the remaining werewolves. Because of the appearance of those 5 werewolves, Reyn, Zafar and the soldiers became panicked.

  Reyn nor Zafar keeps firing while running backward, sometimes they must dodge the werewolf attack. Without they realize, all of them become separated. Leaving Marsha and Ichsan that didn’t dare to follow them.

  IRISE DELEGNERE

  Aria ran to climb the stairs. She thinks, her sword is definitely around that dragon. Possibly, before both of them crashing to skyscraper building her sword was fall inside. 20 minutes later, Aria arrived at floor 50, the floor where that dragon resides.

  That dragon sat there. It watching the night scenery while wagging its tail. Its wing sometimes moved following the wind blow. Nothing at its minds now. It only watching everything around it in boredom.

  Aria sneaking behind that dragon. She tried to find her sw
ord, shortly she saw it was around the rubbles of building. Aria come near her sword and pulling it out slowly. Because her sword was stuck, Aria pull it hard and made some noise.

  That dragon ear reacted. It looked toward Aria.

  Aria frozen stiff and trembling. Her eyes and that dragon eyes briefly meet. If that dragon attacks her, Aria will have no chance to fight because her sword is still stuck.

  That dragon did the opposite from what Aria thinks. It exhaling its breath and then ignoring Aria, as if it was not interested anymore.

  Somehow that dragon behavior made Aria upset. Aria feels if that dragon underestimating her.

  Aria manages to pull her giant sword. Her eyes glowing red. She approaching that dragon, and with all her strength, she cut its rear left legs of that giant creature.

  That dragon surprised and roared in pain. Some blood gushing from it injured legs. It stands with all its four legs and then turned its head toward Aria. It turning around its body while at the same time lifting both of its front legs. A blue sphere of lightning appeared from below its palm. And then with one fast movement it stomping it front legs strongly.

  A strong vibration could be felt. A shockwave generated from both of that dragon legs made the building collapsed.

  Aria that earlier noticing its attack jumped to the dragon tail. She climbing its tail to its back at the time when that dragon started to fly.

  That dragon screaming in anger. A rain of lightning are coming out from the black clouds near the vortex. People that since before taking cover at roofless place was hit and died by those lightning. That dragon landed on the ground. It seems like searching something. It looked toward every direction and found a shopping mall building. Its head immediately goes there and devouring a lot of people that hide in there to recharge its energy.

  Dozens of people becoming a delicious food for that dragon. Their bones broken and their body crumbled together when that dragon chewing them before gulping. Fresh blood flowing out from the dragon tooth gap, and some of it gathered and dripping at its mouth front.

  Aria eyes glowed red more than before. She screaming in anger, running down the dragon spine till its head, with full power Aria cut down one of the dragon horn.

  That dragon screamed in pain. It rampages and fall to the ground.

  Aria was also fall together with that dragon. But unexpectedly, someone catching Aria body exactly when she was nearly hit the ground. Someone that she never expect.

  IRISE DELEGNERE

  Zafar come into one of clothing shops which was now empty. He tried to close the shop door which are nearly broken, after managed to close it he sit weakly behind that door. He ran out of breath and sometimes Zafar wiping some sweat in his face while wagging his clothes that was wet with his own sweat.

  All that happened today is truly insane. Zafar was never thought if their battle becoming this far. Zafar was ready to meet dozens of werewolves, but not a dragon. Hard to believe if those mad scientist succeed to create that horrible creature. As a researcher Zafar would never wish things like what those mad scientist wishing.

  Felt that he had enough rest, Zafar standing up. He approaching a glass wall beside the door and take a peek outside, making sure if there are no werewolves straying outside. But unfortunately, things that happened is out from what he's hoping.

  A werewolf was seen walking in front of the shops, at the opposite direction where Zafar hiding. That werewolf stopped in front of glassware shop, and then entering it slowly.

  Zafar thinks one werewolf is not enough to make him scared. Not after what Zafar experience. Easily Zafar could kill werewolf with his sniper rifle or a sub-machine gun at his hand. But if he have to choose, Zafar likely wanted to evade that werewolf and not taking any risk. He didn’t want to spend his bullet because Aria location maybe is still far away from his place. Yes, that is what Zafar purpose is. Finding Aria and helped her as what he able to.

  "ARRRGGGHHHH!!!", A loud scream could be heard from that shop.

  Zafar was shocked. Is there someone that hiding in that shop? That's why that damned werewolf entering that place! Zafar brave soul moved. He know what was it felt when attacked by werewolf when unable to do anything. Often times he experience that horrifying things and Aria always helped him.

  He still had a time, if he immediately came out and running toward that glassware shop, maybe he will made it in time. Zafar could not stayed quiet to let that werewolf preying on human. Now this is his turn to help other people.

  Zafar opening the shop door and then running toward the glassware shop. He did like what he thinks inside his mind. He stopped in front of the shop, but he could not see that werewolf.

  The scream of scared woman could be heard from inside the shop. Zafar walked into the shop while pointing his sub-machine gun. He slowly walk with cautious attitude and ready to fire anytime. He reached the corner of the room and turned to enter a closed door, then he arrived in the other part of the shop.

  Zafar eyes widen almost instantly, looking at what he saw. Someone that he know well, his ex-girlfriend and also his ex-close friend was there inside that room. They looks panicked and scared, tried to evade that werewolf which was attacking them.

  That werewolf approaching Shela that cried in horror while hiding behind the glass cupboard. Helmi, Shela husband taking some plates around him and throwing that plates to the werewolf repeatedly in panic. That werewolf which targeting Shela with drool that dripping from its mouth looked toward Helmi and clawing His hand. Giving a deep wound to Helmi's hand.

  Helmi screamed in pain and holding his wounded hand. He retreated to behind the wooden shelf and trembling in horror there. While that werewolf, it come back toward Shela.

  For a moment Zafar only stayed silent. Looking what was happened with closed mouth while his mind mused. His brave soul suddenly made to be in doubt, should he rescue that woman? The traitor that shattering his heart to pieces. Perhaps it'll be best if that werewolf eat her, who knows if with that his heart would feel better?

  No. It will not happen. Enough for that hateful feeling toward them. Zafar will not add it with regrets.

  Zafar taking his sniper rifle behind his back. He aimed it precisely toward that werewolf head, and then he pulling its trigger. Exactly when that werewolf wanted to jump on Shela, a loud gunshot had been sounded.

  Bang!! That werewolf head blows into pieces of meats and its body fall to Shela.

  Shela hysterically screamed, a fresh blood flow swiftly from the neck of that werewolf, dirtying her clothes.

  Zafar approaching Shela. He helped her to remove the werewolf corpse. "Are you alright?"

  Shela looked at Zafar with trembling lips. She could not say anything because she still shocked and surprised to see Zafar that suddenly appeared to rescue her.

  Zafar helped Shela to wake. He then turned around and found Helmi was walked slowly toward him.

  "Za-Zafar . . . ." Helmi are confused for what to say. The person that he betrayed is unexpectedly saving his wife.

  "Better leave this place," Said Zafar.

  "Zafar thank you and, I'm sorry," Helmi pleaded full of guilt.

  Zafar stares at Helmi. "No need to say that. Traitors like both of you is suited to be together." Zafar change his view toward Shela. "Traitorous woman like you is suitable at the side of scum like him." Zafar said that word coldly.

  Zafar put his sniper rifle toward his back, together with a pain in his chest, Zafar taking a step to leave Helmi and Shela that still quiet looking at Zafar back.

  Hard to believe, that man which never touching any sharp object now holding a weapons and able to shoot without any doubt. His behavior is also cold. He is unlike Zafar that Helmi and Shela knows. Made Helmi and Shela feel deep regrets till Shela could not hold her tears of regret.

  When Zafar exiting that shops, the pain inside his chest are subsiding and changed into a relieve. The burden and hatred that nesting inside his heart was gone after he vent his anger directly with words towar
d the people that shattering his feelings.

  Zafar keep on running. Coincidentally at when Zafar was on the way to Aria expected location, Zafar come across with 20 soldiers that were also wanted to go to the same direction. Zafar decides to join with those soldiers.

  "Hey, you civilian, get the hell out of here!", One of those soldiers shouted when he saw Zafar approaching them.

  "My friends is there and now are fighting. I must go there to help."

  That soldier smiled cynical. "What can you do? Are you out of your mind? Our enemy is a dragon did you hear? Well . . . Like I could trust that nonsensical information."

  Zafar felt annoyed with those soldiers around him. But he choose to ignore their insult and pleaded. "I will not bother you, please let me join in."

  The other soldier answered. "Let him. If something bad happening, that is within his wish."

  Ignoring Zafar, those soldiers continue to walk. Zafar following them at the rear with cautious attitude.

  "Help! Help . . . !!"

  A voice of someone screaming could be heard.

  The soldiers and Zafar stopped. They looked around and found a woman together with her 2 son locked inside a car. 2 werewolves shaking that car turning it into playthings.

  The soldier that first time seeing a werewolf were surprised. For a moment all of them was frozen stiff and confused for what to do. The soldier at this time is an amateur soldier. All of them is still very young and un-experienced. But because of the chaos that happened in the city, great general Raden Kusuma Wijaya was obliged to command every national soldiers to mobilize without exception.

  Zafar was accustomed to kill a werewolf. At the times when all those soldiers frozen at their place, Zafar aimed his weapon toward one of those werewolves and then shoot its head for several times till that werewolf died.

  The other werewolf noticing Zafar and running fast to attack.

  The sounds of Zafar weapon awaken the soldiers from their reverie. Some of soldiers at the front immediately pull their weapon trigger, they shooting that remaining werewolf.

  Their shoot are not effective because no one of them could hit its head. That werewolf keep moving forward and manage to pounce one of soldier and tearing him apart.
