Brewer (Dead Souls MC Book 3) Page 9

by Savannah Rylan

  “Shit. Shit. Shit. Brewer, I… I can’t take it. You’re too… it’s so…”

I curled my nails into his mattress as his hand dropped my face to the bed. He clamped down onto my hips and pulled my ass into his body. Fucking his cock with me as I went limp underneath his grasp. His balls were smacking my clit and juices were dripping down his thighs. They were spraying about with every slam he took against me and it coated my skin in a white-hot passion. I reached my hand up. I wanted to feel him. I wanted to know it was still him delivering this beautiful pleasure to my body.

And just before I flew over the edge again, he stopped his movements.

I felt his hand slide into mine as he laced our fingers together. My stomach fell to the bed and I pulled Brewer along with me. He tilted me off to the side before his hand slid down my skin, then he hooked my leg over his hip. His lips fell to my shoulder, pressing kiss after kiss against it. Shivering me against his rippling muscles as his cock slid easily between my legs.

“Nice and easy,” Brewer said into my ear. “Just like this.”

Languidly, he slid his cock out before sliding back in. My face turned to meet his and our lips connected in a sloppy kiss. His arm wrapped around me and pulled me as close as I could get, and I felt comforted by his embrace. The taste of me was still on his skin and I was addicted to it. I couldn’t get enough of it. My walls fluttered around his cock and I felt him pulsing deep inside of my body. Never had a man reached this far into me to mark me as his. Never had this much electricity wiped out all ability to see the rational logic in all of this.

There was only Brewer and I. Our tongues connected and our bodies undulating together as my legs began to grow taut. I felt his hand slide around my stomach before traveling downward. Headed towards the only place on my body still pulsing for his touch. He parted my pussy folds and slipped his fingers to my clit, then slowly began to circle.

“Brewer,” I said breathlessly. “Oh my gosh.”

  “Again,” he said.

He pressed into my clit and it caused me to jump back into him.

  “Oh Brewer. Just like that.”

  “Again,” he said.

  “Brewer, please.”

  “Please what, Makenna?”

“Please let me come. It hurts so good and I just… I need-”

  “What do you need?”

His voice was hot in my ear as I turned my lips back to him. I captured his mouth this time and allowed my tongue to explore his depths. His cock was sheathed deeply into my body and his fingers were dancing slowly around my clit. I reached back and fisted his hair, pulling his lips harder against mine.

“I need you,” I whispered into his mouth.

His fingers picked up their pace as his cock throbbed dangerously against my walls. I darted and bucked. I pressed into him and shivered against his chiseled chest. His arm clung to me while his hand worked its beautiful magic, and my hand curled deeply into his scalp. I was panting. Wiggling. Riding his cock as I ground my ass back into him. I felt him smiling into the crook of my neck before he bit down lightly, sucking a patch of skin between his teeth.

And the sensation sent me over the edge.

“Makenna. Shit. Squeeze that… cock. Oh yes. Fuck.”

Brewer’s growling in my ear was too much. I felt my pussy milking his dick as he exploded deep inside of me. He painted my walls with his hot come as his breath trickled over my skin. My legs shook and my stomach grew taut and my hand kept a hold on his hair as he held me close. His lips traced my shoulder as he filled me to the brim, and with each pump more our juices came shooting from between my thighs.

My jaw was quivering and my legs were trembling as his hands stroked my body.

I knew I had to get back home, but I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay tangled in Brewer’s arms all night long. He slid from between my legs and unleashed the fountain of fluids to rumble onto his bed, then he bent down and kissed my hip.

I could already feel those bruises he left behind rising to the surface.

I took one last breath before I got up from the bed. I made my way into his bathroom to quickly clean up, then I came back to him holding my clothes. He was standing there, naked in front of me, and I took one last look at him before I got dressed.

Then he escorted me to the door and saw me out.

I rushed up to Ana’s bedroom and saw she was still fast asleep. I smiled at her soft snores as I leaned heavily against the door frame. My body was still weak from Brewer’s escapades. I could still feel his breath in the crook of my neck. My legs were still wobbling and my scalp was still tingling, and I could still feel his hand between my legs.

I felt emptier somehow. Even though I was filled with the aftershocks of ecstasy.

I walked into Ana’s room and placed a kiss to the top of her head. She was clinging to the book Brewer had bought her. The Giving Tree. I smiled at the picture before I tucked her in tightly, then I walked out of her room and shut the door behind me.

I headed to the bathroom and cleaned myself up a little more. I splashed some cold water in my face to try and rid my mind of the thoughts swirling around in them. But I couldn’t. There were so many things I still wanted to do to Brewer. Like sitting on his face and feeling him press me against the wall again. My hands started to tremble as I brushed my teeth, causing toothpaste to drip onto my shirt.

The shirt that smelled like him.

I made my way for my bedroom and got changed into a different pair of clothes. I couldn’t smell like him all night. It was driving me wild. I laid down in bed as my hips grew sore, and I smiled as I curled the comforter up underneath my chin.

But the moment I closed my eyes, I saw him.

I saw his beautiful eyes and his head full of hair. That cheeky little grin and his long, strong legs. I saw his chiseled abs and his toned back and his strong arms that had wrapped me up so tightly.

I rolled my hips before I turned my body over, trying to rid my mind of him. But I couldn’t. No matter how hard I tried and no matter what I attempted to think about, my mind always had a way of making it back around to him. To his car and his motorcycle and his gravelly voice. To his commanding nature and his softness with my daughter and the way his tongue drove me to heights no man ever had.

I whimpered into my pillow as my hand slid between my legs, seeking out the desperate need for release.

Brewer had opened up something inside of me that had been dormant for so long.

And I moaned his name into my pillow as I brought myself to yet another climax.

  Chapter 15

  Brewer

My cock throbbed every time I thought about Makenna. Finally feeling her body against mine was the release I needed. All of the tension that built between us. All of the shit we tossed back and forth. All of those looks with her aquamarine eyes. But as I laid there in bed, all I could think about was her. The only thing that kept running through my mind were those sounds. Her sighs. Her groans and the way she rolled her hips. The way that tight pussy clamped down onto my cock and the way her hands ran along every inch of my body.

The last thing I needed to do was get attached.

The MC life wasn’t the life for a family. Some of the guys in my group were beginning to understand that. The last thing I needed was to bring heat down onto Makenna and that cute little daughter of hers. They were defenseless, and I wasn’t going to be around them all the damn time to make sure they were okay. And with all this shit about a rat and Rex being in jail?

It was a dangerous time to be a Dead Soul.

I tossed and turned in bed before I finally got up. Sleep wasn’t happening. Between my throbbing cock aching to walk next door and my mind swirling about what the fuck I’d just gotten myself into, I couldn’t shut it down. I hopped into the shower to wash the sex from my body, then I slipped into a shirt and some jeans before grabbing my leather cut. I struck up my motorcycle and sped away as fast as I could. If I stayed in my house one last second, I’d f
ind a way to get to her again.

I’d find a way to feel her again.

I rode through Redding and went to sit at my favorite diner. A strong cup of coffee and a burger would help me settle down. But it didn’t. Every bite I took overflowed into my mouth with the juicy meat, and all I could think about was how juicy Makenna had been for me.

  Damn it.

This woman had me fucked up.

I polished off my food before I laid some money down, then I headed back out to my bike. I didn’t stop riding until I got to the club house, and only then did my body begin to sober up. My cock stopped raging and my body stopped shivering. My mind even stopped swirling with thoughts of her body and her embrace. I seemed to be rid of her, at least temporarily. And I breathed a sigh of relief as I propped my bike up into its traditional space.

“Holy shit,” I said as I walked in. “Looks like I wasn’t the only one.”

“Told you Brewer would show up,” Knox said.

“Can’t sleep either?” I asked as I sat down.

“Not with this rat situation,” Diesel said.

“At least we’re finally fucking addressing it,” Rock said. Diesel gave Rock a look. Finally, the man was starting to fucking listen.

“The fuck’s got you all smiling?” Grave asked.

I took a seat by Rock, ignoring his question.

  “Want a beer?” Rock asked.

“You fucking know it,” I said as I took it from him. “Mick here, too?”

“You know that fucker can sleep through anything,” he said. “A group of tornadoes could be tearing through this place and he’d sleep through it all.”

  “This isn’t a weather phenomenon,” I said. “It’s a rat.”

I tipped my beer up to my lips as the guys started conversing with themselves. Shit always broke off like that in this group. But now, the split was different. All the guys expecting those little babies of theirs split off to talk about pregnant women or some shit and the single guys were left to fend for themselves. Grave and Knox started shooting the shit while Diesel stared off into space, probably in his own head analyzing every move we’ve all made up until this point.

So, Rock and I brought the power duo back and began talking.

“Just so you know,” he said, “I know you’re not the rat.”

“I don’t have enough damn energy to be the rat,” I said with a chuckle. “But I know you’re not either. I’ve known you for a long time. Loyalty runs in your veins.”

“You remember that bullshit in high school we pulled? Where one of us would try to scoop up a chick for the other?”

“Hell yeah, I do. That intentional wingman stuff. We planned it that way because all the girls from our pathetic high school enjoyed the shier guys.”

“I’m so glad women grow up. I love putting it down hard on them,” Rock said.

“Don’t we all know it,” Diesel said with a grin.

We turned to look at him as the grin quickly fell away from his face.

“Since everyone’s here anyway, I’m going to call church,” he said as he took out his phone. “I’m going to wake Mick’s ass up and get him over here.”

“You gonna deal with the fallout of that decision?” Knox asked.

“He’ll be fine once we hand him a beer,” I said.

“Church is a good thing anyway. I got some shit from Monroe you guys need to hear,” Knox said.

“Already working on it,” Diesel said as his fingers flew across his screen.

He held the phone up to his ear and I felt Rock tap against my arm. He leaned his face close to mine and I knew he was about to get something in before church started. Knox had already gone back to talking with Grave and Diesel was throwing calls at Mick to try and roll his ass out of bed. So, I leaned into Rock and trained my ears onto his whispering voice.

“The best thing we can do until this shit’s sorted out is focus our attention on Rex,” he said.

I turned my eyes to his and I found him to be completely serious.

“The hell you expect us to do?” I asked.

“Make sure he’s fucking taken care of,” Rock said. “I got a feed into the jail he’s being held at I check on often. You got your damn contacts at the police. We need to make sure that fucker stays put, no matter what.”

I nodded, but I wasn’t sure I liked the fact that Rock wasn’t telling any of this shit to the group. I mean, I got why he wasn’t saying anything. Rock was the most paranoid of us all. And I knew he’d only trust me until the rat was flushed out. But I didn’t like keeping shit like that from Diesel.

And I could tell by the look on his face he knew something was up.

“Mick’s on his way,” Diesel said. “Once he gets here, church is officially convened.”

Rock sat back into his chair and I crossed my ankle over my knee. I closed my eyes and drew in a deep breath, clearing my head for the meeting. I didn’t like going into church meetings with my head all twisted up in knots, and that was exactly what Makenna had done. Twisted me up inside and mangled my brain to force my focus to her.

And I had to keep it trained on the club.

“The fuck are we doing having a damn meeting at two in the morning?” Mick asked.

“Yep. You fucked up, Diesel,” Rock said with a grin.

“Got a beer for ya,” Knox said.

“It’s going to take more than that to explain why you guys are all here. What the hell’s happened?” Mick asked.

He threw back his beer as he dropped down into a kitchen chair.

“Knox has something for us regarding Monroe,” Diesel said.

“And it couldn’t wait until morning?” Mick asked.

“Quit bitchin’ and listen up,” Knox said. “Monroe has it on good authority that The Black Saddles have hired a damn good lawyer to get Rex out of jail.”

  “What?” Mick asked.

“Told you,” Rock said to me.

“And according to Monroe, he’s a damn good lawyer, too,” Knox said. “It’s why I came out here tonight. To talk to you about it, Diesel.”

“Am I the only one that’s wondering why the fuck we haven’t taken care of Rex yet while he’s stationary?” Grave asked.

“I’m wondering the same damn idea,” Rock said.

“I’m not gonna lie, Diesel. That might be our only chance,” Knox said. “If Rex is a piece of the RICO case, the quicker we deal with him, the faster this whole case might drop. Then we can smoke out this rat.”

“We know where he is and we know how to get to him,” Grave said. “And you know I don’t mind getting my damn hands dirty when it comes to pieces of shit like him.”

“I hate to say it, but it’s looking like that’s our only option if we want to keep a lid on this,” Diesel said.

“That’s all fucking fine and good,” Mick said, “but how the hell are we actually going to get it done? We’d have to send someone back inside, which means Knox is out of the fucking question.”

  “Thank hell,” Knox said.

“Then that’s what we have to do,” Diesel said. “We’ll have to send someone into jail to take care of Rex. Because if this lawyer gets him out, we will have a lot more fucking heat raining down on us. The only thing keeping The Black Saddles at bay is the fact that one of their main assholes is incarcerated. From how Everly talks about them, it sounds like they are super disorganized. Remove the main guy calling the shots? Then we can focus on who is talking in our club. Knox?”

  “Yep?”

“Does Monroe have any information about that damn RICO case and whether or not this place is about to be swarmed with feds?”

“She’s holding it at bay as best as she can,” he said. “So, for now, we’re in the clear. But what happens in the next few days will tell a lot about that story. Once I figure it out, you guys will be the first to know.”

“Anyone have any objections to the plan for Rex?” Diesel asked.

I peered over at Rock as he sighed.

&
nbsp; “Nope. Brewer and I were just sitting here talking about how that was our only fucking option at this point.”

“I don’t like it,” I said, “but no. I don’t have any objections to the plan.”

“So, if we’re all in agreement, then who the fuck is going to get this done?” Grave said.

The million-dollar question. And I had a feeling I wasn’t going to like the answer. Diesel was sympathetic to families. Hell, he’d almost had one himself. His own damn story told people why he was the way he was. All brooding and commanding and constantly analyzing people. He suffered a betrayal of the worst kind, but it made him overly-sympathetic to people who had families. Which means both Grave and Knox were off the table when it came to this mission.

Which left myself, Rock, and Mick as prime candidates since Diesel would almost certainly run point from the fucking outside.

And with Rock’s technological skills and my connections with the police, I had a feeling I wasn’t going to like the answer that came with that fucking question.

  Chapter 16

  Makenna

“Have a good day, pumpkin. Okay?” I asked.

Ana squeezed me tight before she ran off down the hallway to her teacher. I smiled and watched her barrel into the woman’s arms, my heart getting lighter and lighter with each passing day. Ana was acclimating to school very well and adjusting much better to the change in scenery than I thought she would. I headed back out to my car and hopped in, marveling at how well it ran. The gas pedal didn’t stick anymore and the car didn’t hum whenever I drove it. It turned smoothly and didn’t creak whenever I took a sharp turn. It amazed me how well the hunk of junk ran now after Brewer’s magic touch.

Then again, I was running better as well after his magic touch.

Underneath that tough-looking exterior of his, Brewer was a nice guy. I’d even venture to say he was a teddy bear of sorts. Those amber eyes of his lended a darkness to his features whenever he grinned, but his movements were gentle. He seemed like the kind of man that took what he wanted, but never without permission.

  He was a good man.
