CHAPTER 26
BRADY
Antoinette had hung the phone up on me. I assumed that she is pissed about my answer. I don’t give a fuck about how she feels. Antoinette was just another piece of pussy to me. A bitch with a sick pussy gave me this shit. I used protection with the bitch, but the condom broke. Now I was subjected to this deadly illness. My health has been excellent because I work out and maintain all of my appointments. I even changed my eating habits by taking up some healthy cooking classes.
I am just passing the disease along to everyone that I came in contact with because of the good, kind and loving person that I am. Antoinette never asked to use a condom just like the rest of my hoes. Why be angry at me? The bitch should have suggested that we use protection, but she didn’t.
I ain’t going to lie, but I was starting to have feelings for Antoinette. I did not want to fall in love with her because she had Duke. Antoinette was my main hoe. I knew that she loved me by the way she never played any games when it came to
giving me the pussy. Right now I don’t know if her
sexy ass would ever want to be bothered with me again. Fuck it! I thought as I turned over for my nap.

ANTOINETTE
I walked up into Grady like I was the owner of this motherfucker. People were waving and smiling at me. I must be leaving a good impression as I walked with an aura of confidence. I was on a secret mission.
I walked up to the receptionist. I smiled at the nerdy looking dude with the marshmallow face.
“Can you please tell me what room Brady Larkin is in?” I asked with my phony smile.
“Sure. Just one-moment ma’am.” The nerdy fellow muttered as he stuck a peanut butter cookie into his mouth.
He punched at the computer keyboard. He stood there for a second and frowned as he swallowed the cookie down his throat.
“Mr. Larkin is on floor 4-3600 room 45N.” The receptionist chirped as he sucked his teeth.
He hurried to write the information on the sticky note paper before handing it to me.
“Thanks, Sir,” I responded.
“You are welcome, ma’am. Please use the green elevators on the far left side of the hall. Enjoy your visit.” The receptionist gabbed.
I waved at his fat ass and went on my way. He was a disgusting man. I wondered who would layup with his ass. Some old desperate bitch. I thought.
I found the green elevators and went to the fourth floor. I approached a tech that I saw walking near me.
“Excuse me Love but could you give me a Do Not Disturb pass. I want to spend some time loving up on my hubby that’s in 23B.” I fibbed.
“Sure. I will get you that right away.” The red-headed freckled face tech assured me.
She went behind the counter and handed it to me.
“Enjoy your time with your hubby. I am sure he is going to love every bit of it.” The tech chit chatted.
“Thanks again for your help. Toodles!” I piped.
I was a bit nervous and wished I had smoked some weed or had a drink before coming here. There was nothing that I could do know, so I decided to stay in my zone. It was time to handle business. I could not punk out now. I was tired of folk walking over me even if I did bring it on
myself.
I took a slow stroll until I found Brady's room. No one was around, so before I slipped in, I placed the
Do Not Disturb sign on his door.
I entered the room. I peeped around the corner and saw that Brady was sleeping. I looked into the closet and saw that there were extra pillows inside. I reached up on the shelf to grab the case less pillow and closed the closet lightly. I held it in my hand.
I stood there contemplating. I was trying to figure out if I should just blast this pussy ass nigga into hell. My only other option was to smother his funky ass with this pillow.
Shooting his pig-headed ass would produce too much blood and gore. I did not think that I could clean all the shit up before someone thought that the Do Not Disturb sign was odd. Smothering Brady Larkin would have to do. I was not about to allow him to suck up another ounce of free air when he did not give a fuck about my life or any other person whose life he had altered with this disease. The nigga was not HIV+, but Brady Larkin has full-blown AIDS. What the fuck? Shit was starting to get real.
Brady as snoring. He was lying on his back sounding like a hog. Brady was hooked up to
oxygen. I unplugged it, and Brady never stirred once. I removed the nurse call bell from his reach. Brady was going to die this evening with no
interference, and by the time someone found him he would be able to be brought back to life.
I placed my bag on the seat near the bead. I positioned the pillow over Brady’s mouth and nose. I applied all the pressure that I could muster up against the pillow.
I knew that I was stronger than this pussyfooting motherfucker because he had gotten his ass by Tim Greg.
Suddenly from nowhere, Brady’s eyes opened. He tried tugging at the pillow, but it was no use. I had overpowered Brady. I got the enjoyment of seeing the terror in his eyes as he fought for air. The same air that I was now happily breathing as Brady's soul slipped from his now lifeless body. My job was now done.
I slipped the only evidence under my shirt. I now looked four months pregnant with the pillow stuffed in my shirt. I wiped the slob from Brady’s face. Ni closed his eyes. Then I placed his hands on his sides and grabbed my bag.
“Oh shit! I almost forgot!” I shrieked.
I placed the nurses call bell back in its normal position. After doing that I plugged the oxygen up
again. I walked to the door to exit. I pulled the Do Not Disturb sign from the door. I looked around. There was no one in sight, so I slipped the sign into
my bag. I walked in the opposite direction from
whence I came. Once I was off the floor, I called myself an LYFT. I prayed to God that the driver would not be Ethan’s dumb ass.
CHAPTER 27
TIANNA
Tim and I were about fifteen minutes away from home. I was really enjoying the ride.
“Hey, babe!” I blurted.
“Yes, Tianna,” Tim uttered as he kept his yes eyes on the road.
It was now six in the evening on a Sunday, but the traffic was backed up. This was very unusual for a Sunday evening.
“I have a great idea,” I announced in a chipper voice.
“What is it?” Tim replied.
“I think that we should take a road trip every weekend,” I suggested.
“Tianna that’s a lovely idea, but I don’t want to be putting too many miles into this raggedy ass car,” Tim concluded.
“But baby we can just get a new car, or we could use a rental!” I protested.
“Okay, pretty lady. Please let me think about it. Road trips are enjoyable especially if there planned out well.” Tim chuckled.
“Thanks, babe. You are the best husband ever.” I cooed.
“You are welcome. Right now I need to concentrate on the road. I don’t know what the
hell is going on up ahead of us!” Tim impatiently
grumbled.
I looked out at the traffic, and nothing was moving.
“Me either babe. These cars are slow as hell!” I cried out.
Tim’s cell phone ranged.
“Baby your phone I ringing!” I exclaimed.
“Boo answer it for me. My hands have to be free of devices while I am driving since they passed the new law last week.” Tim instructed me.
“Hello,” I answered.
I did not bother to see who was calling.
“Tianna is that you!” Some lady shouted into the phone.
Ouch. My damn ear. I thought.
“Yes, it’s me! May I ask who is speaking?” I questioned the caller.
“Yes! It’s your sister Shine!” Shine piped.
“Hey, Shine. I miss you already girl.” I sighed.
If only things had turned out better bet
ween Kandra and me maybe we could have gone back to Eerie next weekend. I sadly thought.
“I miss you too boo. You have to come visit really soon again. Maybe Devin and I will have to plan to come there. I know mom can be a handful.” Shine admitted.
“Okay boo. Just let Tim and me know.” I encouraged Shine.
“Tianna where is Tim?” Shine asked.
“Tim is driving. We are still on the expressway.” I acknowledged.
“I heard that there was an eight-car pileup. I was just calling to make sure that you two were not caught up in that wreck. I am so glad that you and Tim are safe.” Shine revealed.
I gasped. My God that could have been us! I thought.
“My goodness. I hope that no one was hurt badly. Tim is a conscientious driver. Shine, please don’t worry about us. Just whisper a little prayer that the highway clears up soon.” I suggested.
“Will do sis. I love ya!” Shine responded before hanging up.
“What happened baby?” Tim groaned.
“The hold up ahead is an eight-car pileup. Shine was calling to make sure that we were safe.” I explained.
“Woah. I should have known. I hope everyone is okay.” Tim said shaking his head.
Tim reached over to touch my hand.
“Tianna Greg I am proud to have you as my wife. I love you. I need you, Tianna Greg. I am glad that I have found you and I like to be around you.
I am also smitten with the way that my sisters have clung on to you. I am almost one hundred percent positive that you, Nile and Shine will have an excellent relationship. A sisterly bond so tight that no one could ever break it.” Tim happily announced.
I smiled.
“Good because I really love them too.” I retorted.
Tim just nodded his head.
I was ready to go home. I needed a hot bath and some snacks badly. I felt like I was living a life of luxury since I had become Tim’s wife. I loved our home and everything that Tim had ever given me. Tim’s love was overwhelming to me but in a good way. He takes me higher with his passion. I am learning to live as he shows me what real love passion and desire means. Love is not pain. There is no pain with pure pleasure, and Tim Greg has genuinely warmed my heart. I craved Tim’s touch and kisses. It seems like I had grown up overnight and I loved it.
Finally, the traffic was moving again. Tim and I were smooth sailing once more.
“Honey, what do you want to eat tonight?” Tim probed.
“I don’t know. I am really exhausted.” I declared.
Our short trip turned out to be three hours with
this horrible traffic. I was aggy and wanted to go home. I knew that Tim was not going back home without our dinner. It was already late, and he was exhausted from our long day.
My man made sure that I ate well every night. I was afraid that I would start to get fat.
I giggled. I loved that Tim was now my man and my husband. I was Tianna Greg in the flesh, and I had loosened up a great deal, and it was awesome to take a breather. I brought my worth to the table, and Tim has accepted me with his open arms.
“How about Sonic’s? It is just up the road.” Tim suggested.
“I don’t know. Tim, I have never had their food.” I declared.
I had heard about the Sonic food chain moving here, but my parents were too cheap to buy me any. They would buy the fast food for themselves and then eat it in my face. If I asked for any or where was mine all hell would break loose. I just learned to suck it up and prayed for better days. It was often a real challenge not to speak ill too or hate my parents. I had no other parents to compare them too. I did not know if parents were supposed to treat children that way, but I noticed that the badass kids at school had more than me I
thought it was strange. What could I do? I was a
child who
was taught to stay in a child’s place and out of
grown folks business. No one suffered more but
me. Thinking back now it was like my parents were my enemy. I was sleeping in the same house as the devil and his minions. I am glad that I kept my heart and mind right. My childhood was very fucked up.
“Really Sonic will be perfect. I think we need to
change that tonight.” Tim excitedly announced.
“If you say so, babe. You already know that I am down for whatever.” I chimed.
We pulled up in the Sonic drive-thru. I did not know what to expect because I said I never ate here before. I did not know what to order.
Tim was cool with it. He placed both of our orders. The food came up to thirty-two dollars and sixty-seven cents. Damn, that’s high. I thought. But Tim had ordered a bunch of food for us. He did not play when it came down to us eating especially at dinner time.
It was now starting to get dark as we pulled out of Sonic and into the busy traffic. There was a cool breeze coming from the windows as we cruised home.
After about ten more minutes Tim pulled up to our street. It was very quiet now. All the children were
now inside getting ready for school on tomorrow. I had to get ready for school myself too. Tim parked his car in his usual parking spot. We grabbed our things from the car and walked to our home. Tim unlocked the door.
“Damn man!” Tim huffed.
I turned in his direction wondering what had got his pants in a bunch. From what I could see nothing happened.
“Whats up Tim?” I cautiously asked my hubby.
“It’s nothing.” Tim insisted.
“Apparently it is something because of the way you are huffing.” I declared.
I was tired of Tim blowing me off whenever I questioned him about what was on his mind. Big or however small the issue was I needed him to know that I was in this to win it with him. I would not be running off like a prissy bitch. My love was for keeps.
“I just forgot to get your house key made.” Tim moaned as he shook his head.
“What? Is that all?’ I questioned him.
I was flustered for nothing, but I was so glad that it wasn’t more severe than a house key being made.
“Yep! I told you it was nothing. You are going to make a great mother one day. Mother Greg!” Tim teased me.
“If you say so!” I concurred.
Tim unlocked our door, and we entered our home sweet home.
Tim went to put our food on the dining room table. I decided to brush my teeth, wash my face and to slip into something comfier before chowing down on my dinner. Once I was finished, I joined my husband. I felt rejuvenated. I was still going to take a long hot bath after I ate my dinner I just wanted to get a little funk from my long day off my body. I was feeling sweaty from riding in the warm car for so long. I had food stuck in my teeth from the Olive Garden that I had eaten earlier.
“Tianna are you ready to eat now?” Tim nagged me as I sat down at the table.
“Yes, babe.” I smiled as I answered him.
“Wonderful. Can you please bless our food?” Tim pressed me.
“Sure I can,” I said as I stared into his eyes.
I can’t believe that this was my life. My marriage was real, and there would be nothing but smooth sailing for me. I was so happy.
Tim bowed his head.
“Thank you, God, for this food. Bless the hands that prepared it for Timmy and me. Lord bless our stomachs as we gobble down this food and keep
us safe from harm and danger tonight as we sleep
safely in our bed. Amen!” I prayed.
“Amen!” Tim yelled loudly as he dived into his into his hot dog and fries.
“Damn Tim slow down!” I grumbled.
“It's so good. Try it, Tianna.” He responded with a mouthful of food.
“Please don’t choke,” I said as I laughed at my big hungry man.
I have our ice cream in the freezer because it was melting quite rapidly.” Tim uttered as he continued eating.
I followed along and bit into my burger. The burger was delicious. I was not very hungry, so I ate hal
f of my burger and some of the hot dog. My hot dog was good as well. I gave Tim my fries. I went to the freezer and ate only a few mouthfuls of my strawberry ice cream. I stuck the container of creamy, cold delicious icecream back in the freezer. I had decided that the ice cream would be my snack after my bathtime.
Tim was still eating. I tried walking past him, but he grabbed my arm.
“Baby where are you going?” Tim blurted as he kissed my neck softly.
“I am going to take a bath. I still feel hot and sticky.” I told him as I kissed him on his pointy
nose.
“Ok well don’t be too long. I need to shower also.”
Tim expressed.
“Ok copycat.” I teased.
“Bae I will be that just don’t use up all the hot water,” Tim warned me with a silly grin.
“I will. Thanks for reminding me because you know that I enjoy my steaming hot baths.” I acknowledged.
“Yes, baby I do know. Take your time and unwind. I will let you know when I am ready for my shower. There is no need for you to rush my love. I prefer for you to wash your kitty right.” Tim insisted.
“I bet you do,” I said abruptly.
Tim was something else. I had to love him.
I hugged his neck tightly before leaving him sitting there eating the rest of his dinner.
I rummaged through my things looking for my washcloths and towels that Tim had purchased for me. My items were strewn everywhere because I had accumulated quite a few things in the short time that I have resided here. It was time that Tim and I looked into buying me my own dresser and maybe a vanity set very soon. Although I did not typically have any clothes from department stores
at the mall, I still felt the need to take excellent care of them. This was something that I almost went overboard with because I had nothing else to
do but to be a neat freak. Tim and I have not been home much for me to establish some sense of order with my clothes and shoes but I am sure I will find the time this upcoming new week.
I finally found my things. I added a bath bomb in the running bathtub. I stripped from the blue and grey romper that I was wearing. Standing here in the nude I had a revelation. I finally loved me. I did not need long extensions in my hair or expensive clothes. I am adapting to my new environment because of the love that I shared with Timothy Greg.
