Zhou Yuan frowned slightly at their decisiveness. He had a sinking feeling that something was amiss. After pondering about it for a moment, he landed next to the giant flag and decided to wait here for a while.

Several glowing figures landed on a certain hill.
“Brother Su Duan, the rich vein area in front is indeed being guarded by Zhou Yuan from the Cangxuan Sect.” The figures looked towards the to of the hill where another figure was standing with his hands behind his back. Su Duan nodded as a cold smile was revealed on his face. “The other members of the Cangxuan Sect are fighting in the core region, while Zhou Yuan has been sent all the way out here. It seems that his strength is quite lacking.”
One of the figures asked with some hesitation, “Brother Su Duan, are you really going to seize that rich vein from him? Though Zhou Yuan is not useful to them, he’s still a disciple of the Cangxuan Sect. If we take it from him, won’t we making the Cangxuan Sect look ugly? I’m afraid that their Chosens won’t let the matter rest when that happens.”
“Humph, the Chosens of the Cangxuan Sect are currently being kept in check by the Chosens from the Sacred Palace, and have no time to deal with other matters. How can they possibly come all the way to the outer area for this small matter?” Su Duan icily snorted.
However, he was not a brainless fool after all. His eyes narrowed slightly as he fell into thought for a moment, before he said with a smile, “Moreover, we do not need to personally deal with that brat…”
“What do you mean?”
With a wave of his sleeve, a bottle appeared in Su Duan’s hand. He gently dusted it off as he said, “This is a bottle of Flame Lizard Saliva that is extremely enticing to the Heavenly Flame Lizards in this essence flame vein. “Zhou Yuan… since you humiliated me in the fair, I will make sure to pay you back in full today!”
“So what if you’re a disciple of the Cangxuan Sect. I still have ways to deal with you if I want to!”
Chapter 413 Qingyu’s Warning
A giant flag that towered over the red land. A pillar of light rose from the flag, radiating a halo of light that encompassed the surrounding hundred mile area.
Beside the flag, Zuoqiu Qingyu lazily stretched her back, displaying her enchanting curves, before listlessly looked around for the umpteenth time. In a short few minutes, she had already appeared on one of the hills nearby. She looked towards her front, and found two figures there. However, what puzzled her was that these two individuals had no intentions of contesting for this territory with her. Instead, they were holding a bottle from which a strange fragrance wafted.

Next, Zuoqiu Qingyu saw the ground begin to shake as red Heavenly Flame Lizard after lizard popped out. These lizards greedily stared at the bottles in the two individuals’ hands, and began chasing the duo in a crazed manner.
The two individuals immediately turned and ran, a huge hoard of lizards now at their heels.
Zuoqiu Qingyu was somewhat dazed as she watched. These people had come all the here not to challenge her, but to draw away the Heavenly Flame Lizards? Were they actually so kind?
However, she had a faint feeling that there was something amiss about this matter. After briefly contemplating about it, her figure dashed forth, quickly catching up to the two figures without them noticing.
After tailing them for a while, she was finally able to piece together their motive from scraps of their conversation.
She hid behind a boulder as she watched the horde of Heavenly Flame Lizards with a grave expression. These guys were planning on luring all of the lizards to Zhou Yuan’s location.
“So it’s Su Duan who is behind this.” Zuoqiu Qingyu’s brows furrowed slightly. Soon after, she pushed off the ground and soared into the air top her Genesis Qi.
“I need to inform him as soon as possible.”
From the exchange between the two, she had found out that there were others who were also luring Heavenly Flame Lizards. The scale of this operation was certainly not small, and Zhou Yuan would surely be in danger if he were to face this beast wave alone.
As for the territory she was tasked to secure, she would just leave it here for the moment. It’s not like their Hundred Flowers Fairy Palace really cared about it anyways.

Zhou Yuan immediately felt Zuoqiu Qingyu’s aura when she stepped into the range of his senses. He immediately stood up, confused as he watched the lovely figure dressed in green rapidly approaching from far away.

Zuoqiu Qingyu landed on the ground, her chest heaving slightly as she drew in two deep breaths, before anxiously saying, “Quick, you’ve got to leave. Su Duan is gathering Heavenly Flame Lizards from all over to create a wave of beast to send against you!”
Zhou Yuan was stunned when he heard this. His frowned slightly as he recalled the individuals he had encountered earlier. He had already felt that there was something wrong with their gazes. It seems like they were scouts...
“Herding Heavenly Flame Lizards? How are they doing it?” However, instead of panic, Zhou Yuan was more concerned about a certain part of her earlier words.

The ground began to tremble the moment the words left his mouth. Su Duan watched as a tide of red surged over from the edge of the horizon, made up completely by Heavenly Flame Lizards. From the looks of it, there were likely several thousand of them.
In the face of a beast wave of such scale, even Su Duan and the rest turned a little solemn. Although most of these Heavenly Flame Lizards were only equivalent to the first or second layer Alpha-Origin stage, when enough of them were gathered, they could become an extremely terrifying force.

Just as Su Duan had said, the Heavenly Flame Lizards with crazed looks in their eyes paid no heed to the few individuals on the hill, their red eyes looking instead at a certain location to the front. With a thunderous rumbling noise, they charged into Zhou Yuan’s hundred mile territory.
Su Duan and gang laughed again when they saw this, before rising into the air and secretly following some distance behind.

“It’s here…”
Under an enormous flag, Zhou Yuan suddenly opened his eyes and peered into the distance. He could already feel the ground trembling slightly. It seems that Su Duan and gang had succeeded in luring the beast tide over.
Beside him, Zuoqiu Qingyu’s peach blossom like eyes were still filled with worry.
“Don’t worry, I will leave the moment I feel things aren’t going well.” Zhou Yuan consoled her with a smile.
Zuoqiu Qingyu gave a faint nod as she said, “I will stay here. If you encounter any problems, I will be able to immediately bring you away.”

When these Genesis Runes were activated, the menacing Heavenly Flame Lizards suddenly fell into chaos, and began frantically running about like headless flies.
This sight told Zhou Yuan that the Genesis Runes he prepared earlier were working. Though they are unable to do much damage to the lizards, the runes could hinder their senses, temporarily turning these lizards blind and deaf...
