His hand traced her stomach, stroking her from her breasts, over her rounded belly and on to cup her needy pussy.
“In a minute,” he mumbled against her skin.
“No, not a minute. I swear, you can fuck me from—” She glanced at the clock and noted the time. 8 a.m. “You can bang me from nine to noon and then again from one to six.”
It was his turn to whine like a kid. “Brenna…”
“Nope, that’s today’s schedule. We’ll have to discuss how things will go tomorrow when we go back to work. I can’t exactly count cash with your peen in my va-jay-jay.”
His whole body shook, jarring her, which in turn, had him rubbing her pussy. God, she needed his hands off her. Now. Before she begged him to put his peen in her va-jay-jay pre-breakfast.
“My what?”
“It doesn’t matter because it’s not happening again until nine.” She tapped his forearm. “So put your tray tables and chair backs in their original positions so I can get up.”
“I don’t…”
Brenna grumbled. “How many years have we known each other? I mean, you’ve been in love with me for forever and you still don’t get my humor?”
“I never said—”
She snorted. “You so do.”
He growled.
She wondered if he knew how to do anything else. And she was ready to ask him, but simply sighed instead. It was a battle left for another day. Or at least an hour from then. A girl had to eat.
“It’s okay, puppy. Feed me and we can address it later.” She patted his arm, but he didn’t move. “Declan?” Another growl. “C’mon, I’m hungry.” He didn’t move, but her stomach did grumble. “See? Even my wolf is saying ‘feed me, bitch.’ You don’t want to piss her off, do you? My mate?”
That at least had him huffing and releasing her. She had to remember the “my mate” trick for later. Like when she was shooting for a new purse and shoes to match.
Brenna scrambled from the bed and hunted for her clothes, searching for something to wear downstairs. She wasn’t going to the kitchen bare assed on the off chance Harper and Connor stopped by. She loved her BFF, she just didn’t want her BFF staring at her junk.
“Where are my clothes? Do you see my panties anywhere?” She peeked behind a large reading chair tucked in the corner.
“You mean these?”
She looked over her shoulder and narrowed her eyes when she spied what he held. Oh, it was her panties. Or what was left of them. “Damn it, Declan. What am I supposed to wear downstairs?”
He shrugged. “You’ll be easy access.”
“Easy,” she sputtered. “Oh, the train to Taco Land is now closed to you, wolf-boy.”
Declan grinned and tugged a T-shirt from one of the dresser drawers. “Here, wear this. You’ll smell like me and still be covered.”
Brenna glared. “I already smell like you.”
All over and in every crevice. She seriously needed a shower. Like, now. Based on his scowl, she wouldn’t be washing his scent off any time soon.
Ugh.
Deciding not to get into the shower-no-shower debate, she tugged on the shirt and was relieved when the hem hit her knees.
Covered, she padded toward the bedroom door, meeting Declan at the wood panel. He tugged her close, wrapping his arms around her—again.
“We need to get your things moved over. I’ll send some of the pack to gather your belongings.” He leaned down and nuzzled her neck, lips finding her mark once again.
“Wait, what?” She wiggled, ignoring his hardness as she fought to get away. “I’m not moving in.”
“Of course you are.”
“No, I’m not.” She pushed out of his arms and leveled a glower on him.
“Yes, you are. You’re my mate.”
“Oh, I understand I’m your mate. What you don’t understand is that I’m not gonna just roll over and do whatever the hell you want. I have a house.”
Declan propped his hands on his hips and returned her stare. Of course the hands on his hips thing brought her gaze back to his hips and on to his package and… he really did have a nice cock. Even if it was covered by pants at the moment.
“With a dead body in it.”
Her gorge rose and she gagged a little before shoving down the desire to vomit all over him. “You said your pack people were dealing with the body.”
“Our pack.” He crossed his arms over his chest, now accentuating all those other muscles and she remembered how good he’d tasted and…
Stupid vagina.
“And I will have them put that body back within the hour if it means you move in here. Don’t think I won’t.”
She didn’t doubt him. Bastard. “Fine,” she grumbled. “But don’t think this means I’m gonna turn into Furry Homemaker and fawn all over you. I will not build an altar to the wonderfulness of my Alpha.”
Declan grinned, the expression quickly going from cocky to wicked. “You don’t need to build it, baby. You just gotta kneel.”
Oh, hell no. “You know what you can do with your kneeling—”
He didn’t give her a chance to finish, not when he gathered her close and pressed his lips to hers in a passionate, mind-blowing kiss. She moaned and rubbed against him, enjoying the feel of his body molded to hers. It was sex and sin carried by teeth and tongue and she happily ignored her growling stomach in favor of more of his kisses. And fucking. Fucking came after the kisses to be immediately followed by more arguing.
She wondered if she could convince him they were only dating. They could date, fuck, and get to know each other. The living together didn’t need to muddle any of that and eventually she’d get around to the whole “I love you” thing. Like in a million years and after he said it first.
Yes, perfect plan.
Declan broke the kiss and she was pretty proud of the fact he was panting just as heavily as her. “And baby, I’ll be kneeling just as much.”
“How much? Two to one? Three to one? I need to see if I’m coming out on top with this deal. And where will this kneeling occur? I think—”
His cock jerked, her pussy clenched, and then she was over his shoulder and hauled back to the bed.
Declan threw her onto the soft mattress, sending her bouncing for a moment before he came down atop her, his body aligned with hers.
“I’ll show you two to one.” He bared his fangs, the teeth lengthening and sharpening with each breath. What should have scared her excited her beyond measure. “You’re mine. You’ll be here and you’ll stay here.”
“But before I agree, I need specifics. I’ve always told you to read the fine print before agreeing to anything. Get with the fine printing.” She nodded to punctuate her statement.
He kissed her to shut her the hell up.
Two hours later with five orgasms for her to his one, she decided that maybe they could move beyond “going steady” and on to “engaged.”
Oh wait. She miscounted. Make that six to one.
The wedding would be next week.
