“Really? If I get any indication you didn’t, I will demand pics.”
“No, no. It’s in. How long do I keep it there?” she inquired. She shifted her weight from one leg to the other. It felt odd, awkward.
“Nah ah ah. You wanted me to take this role, so no questions. I will give you more details when I’m good and ready. Now that doesn’t mean if you are hurt or uncomfortable for any reason you don’t tell me; you damn well better. How does it feel? Do you like it?”
She didn’t not like it. “It feels like it doesn’t belong there.”
“That’s just because it’s new to you. Then again, if you decide it’s not something you wish to pursue, we won’t. I can tell you my cock is hard thinking about it and knowing it’s there.”
Her butt cheeks clenched imagining his erection. The movement added pressure that intensified her enhanced arousal. “Is that so…” she purred.
“Oh yeah, baby. There isn’t a part of you I don’t want to experience and claim.”
“I want that too. I’m yours, Matt.”
He cleared his throat. “Yes, you are,” he groaned. Obviously, they both suffered a current mutual sexual frustration. “As long as you’re finding your assignment satisfactory, hopefully developing into enjoyable, I want you to keep wearing it for one hour. What time do you have to be at the theater?”
“One.”
“Let me see. It’s ten-thirty there, so yeah, that means one hour from now you can remove it. Eleven-thirty, not a second earlier. Agree?” He sounded firm, with a hint of sensitivity that touched her so deeply she wouldn’t dare defy his requests.
“I do.”
“Okay, baby. I love you. Have an amazing show tonight. I’ll talk to you in the morning.”
Hearing Josie’s voice through the phone filled her with regret that she’d lost spending time with her that week. She did love that little girl. “I love you too, Matt. Please tell Josie I love and miss her.”
The next three days and nights Jana existed in a state of extreme arousal, ultimate peace, and absolute bliss. Every facet of her life, all diverse, converged; she really could have it all. She danced around her hotel room belting out showtunes – even while wearing a plug. Matt had her use the medium one on the second day, for two hours. And by the third day she had to set an alarm to get up in time allowing herself three hours with the largest one in place.
She went on about things in the morning as she would if she didn’t have it in, but it sent her reminders often, especially with certain actions. She found it thrilling having it there and no one knew her kinky little secret but she and Matt. She’d even ventured out of her room to Starbucks the last two days wearing it.
Albert couldn’t have been happier with the positive response from the audience and from the critics that reviewed the production during her performances.
Jana wished she could share her happiness with Matt. She missed him more than she ever imagined.
Saturday morning, the day of her last show, as Meg had arranged to return for the remaining shows after Christmas, Jana experienced a range of emotions. Honored to have had the opportunity, and for it to have been so positive, and to have met and made a friend with Emma Grace, it saddened her to have it come to an end. The anticipation and impatience to see Matt caused her to experience more anxiety than usual. And she couldn’t deny or ignore the deep desire surging through her to get her hands, mouth, and body all over Matt. His little exercise had amplified her ever present and growing need.
Getting up early, thinking Matt would call with another assignment, she finished her second cup of coffee. Having used all three of the implements, she didn’t have a clue what he would request. She’d told him that she’d worn it down to the lobby the last two mornings, and he’d praised her. He didn’t stop telling her how hot she was and that he couldn’t wait to get hold of her.
Her impatience got the best of her, and she called him. It went straight to voicemail. Thinking at first that he had another call, she waited for him to call back. The minutes went by and still no call. She wanted another cup of coffee, but as customary, the hotel only provided two packets of caffeinated coffee. Hesitant to leave the room for more caffeine in case he called with another erotic little task, she succumbed and fixed a cup of decaf.
After an hour, she called again. Once again, it went straight to voicemail. Several scenarios raced through her mind. She worried something had happened at work. Did he get hurt? What if something happened to Josie? Swiping her phone screen, she searched for Danielle’s number. As she typed out a generic message asking if she’d finished her Christmas shopping – she didn’t want to go straight to “alarm” mode – a knock sounded at the door. Without hitting send, she hurried to the door. Expecting to find Emma Grace on the other side, Jana squealed upon discovering Matt standing here and threw herself at him.
He caught her around the waist, hugging her to him as she encircled his neck with her arms and drew his mouth down to hers. He kissed her hard. Carrying her into the room, he kicked the door shut with his foot. Marching with her to the bed, he set her on her feet and pulled her tank top over her head. He ripped her boy shorts down her legs. Each time his mouth returned to hers, he resumed his harsh lip, teeth, and mouth affection, but also slowed, withdrawing, teasing and prolonging her craving. He caressed her breasts. He pinched her nipples.
Frustrated and aching with desire, she clamped her fingers on his shoulders shoving him back as she leaned away from him. “Stop! Stop.”
His eyes wide, he stared at her in disbelief and uncertainty. Going for the hem of his shirt, she hauled it up his perfect torso, but he made no move to assist by lifting his arms. His eyes narrowed. He shoved her backward onto the bed. Her butt hit the bed first, but she ended up on her back from the force of his thrust.
“You have to be kidding me. Do you honestly think you get to lead?” He laughed. Then laughed some more.
She slapped her palms on either side of her on the mattress. “Ugh! I’m just so worked up. Using those plugs and missing you like crazy… and I can’t believe you’re here.”
Whipping his shirt off over his head, he leisurely undid his belt, dragging it through each belt loop in a lengthy flaunt. “You like this belt, Jana?”
Finding it hard to swallow, she nodded.
Looping the belt, he held both ends in his right hand. He swung it at his side and her body tensed. His expression gave away nothing. Smack.
Her body jerked, maybe before the belt struck her on the outer left thigh. Her hand jumped to the area and rubbed the sting. Whack. Another slap came to the top of her hand.
“Move your hand. I can keep popping you until you realize what you forgot and correct it.” Unbuttoning and unzipping his pants, he dropped them.
Her heart beat in her lower abdomen, or not. Something pulsated in that region. For the life of her she couldn’t think of what she’d forgotten. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she tried to focus.
“Do you like this belt?” He slowly enunciated the question.
Repeating the question in her mind didn’t provide her with what she needed to correct. “Yes, I do like your belt,” she slowly enunciated her response right back at him.
Crossing his hand and the belt to his left side, he cracked the leather onto her right thigh. “I know you do. But you obviously still don’t know what you missed. You’ve earned yourself quite a discipline session, Li’l Lady. Roll over to your stomach. Slide down and put your feet on the floor, keep that ass out. I won’t linger on your complete disregard for what you know is a major rule – and we just went over this last week. If I ask you a question when we engage in any spanking, bondage, etc., you need to answer me with words, not head nods.”
Crap. Did she not answer him? She didn’t know. Her body overruled everything at the moment. Flipping over, she scuttled to the edge of the bed. Standing, she leaned over placing her upper body on the mattress. Jutting her bottom back, she waited for the burning to begin.

And did it ever. He delivered three firm strikes to each cheek before speaking. “If you ever need something from me, or want something from me, you better tell me. I love you. Any worry, concern, fear, ambition, decision, I expect you to share with me. You’re mine. I’m yours. You know I want us. You say you want us too. Then we are going to do us.”
Clenching her butt cheeks, she squeezed her eyes shut awaiting the next slap.
“Any questions? Any disagreement? Anything?”
Rubbing her nose into the sheet, she mumbled, “No.” Thinking she better issue a more determined response, she twisted her head to the side and stated adamantly, “No, I don’t.”
“Very good. You also did an excellent job fulfilling my requests over the last few days,” he praised. “Damn it. I planned to get into the whole Pillow Talk thing, but my ass looks too damn fine.” He caressed her heated flesh. Sliding his hands up her back, he lifted and spun her to him. Clutching her hair, he placed his lips on hers, kissing her slow and sweet. Moving with her, he laid her back on the bed and crawled on top of her. He fingered the hair at the side of her face and around her left ear. “I need to be inside you now,” he whispered.
She saw in his face and his blue eyes what she, too, felt, a need and want so strong for each other that everything else faded.
Bending her knees, he shifted and entered her. It didn’t take long for either one of them to reach orgasm. They laid in bed the remainder of the morning laughing, talking, and catching up on each other’s week.
Chapter 5
As much as she’d enjoyed returning to the stage, the fantastic crew, and cast Albert had assembled, and his script choice, Jana couldn’t wait to go home with Matt. How she ever worried he wouldn’t support her, she didn’t know.
He’d beamed with pride after her performance. Talking with Albert at a little farewell party they threw for her, Matt had gushed about her talent. He spoke of her amazing voice which he heard way too little of. He mentioned her stage presence and her acting skills. He went as far as to tell Albert that he would never think of denying her or anyone else the unmistakable privilege of experiencing her gifts.
Yup. He said all that and she knew she had to be the luckiest woman ever. Why did she ever entertain any thoughts of things not working out between them? He still hadn’t asked her to marry him. Before him, she never knew she wanted to get married. Did she now? She must. It had only been a year since they’d connected as a couple. So, why the rush? She did have underlying insecurities that incited her to find the negative aspects more than the positive. But Matt continued to prove to her that they were unfounded. Just as he did that night.
“So, this is the one? I see it. Hmm, I do,” Emma Grace moaned. She sauntered closer with a glass of champagne dipping from her fingers prompting Matt, Albert and Jana to stand with outstretched hands ready to intercept the crystal goblet before it hit the tile floor.
Raising her chin, batting her eyelashes, Jana teased, “I don’t know what it is you speak of, my dear friend.”
“Like hell you don’t. Oops, I cussed. I’m sorry,” Emma Grace apologized, grimacing. Balancing her glass between two fingers after switching hands, she reached her right hand out to Matt. “I’m Emma Grace. I have so loved having Jana here. She is the most awesomest ever. She read lines with me, and let me babble on for hours. I’ve made a great friend.”
Matt took her hand and pulled her into him for a big hug. “I think she loved every minute of it. So very nice to meet you.”
“Oh gee, he even smells good,” Emma Grace gushed. Leaning toward Jana, cupping her hand near her mouth, possibly in an attempt to not be heard, except she didn’t whisper, Emma Grace confided. “The man at the fruit tray. Yeah, I brought him. Jack? James? I met him at the hotel gym this morning. He seems okay so far.” She giggled. “He has a true six-pack.”
“Oh, does he? Not bad at all,” Jana affirmed. “If you don’t mull over my offer, I will find you, and I will kill you.” Jana did her weak Liam Neeson impression. Both women laughed, heading to the drink table for another refill.
Sometime around two in the morning, Jana and Matt made it back to the hotel room. He took any pressure off of her, and after undressing her, guided her to the bed, covering her up.
As much as her body reacted and yearned for him and his touch, she’d had one or more glasses of champagne too much and extreme fatigue hit after such an emotional week. She fell asleep as soon as she cuddled up to Matt, knowing she would sleep and awaken next to the man she loved and who loved her in return.
Jana’s head throbbed the next morning. She’d definitely overindulged in the sparkly, bubbly potion.
Matt gibed her about it, but he served her coffee in bed, ordered room service, and enticed her into the oversized shower. He stood her under the soothing, warm spray and washed her body and hair.
She closed her eyes relishing the feel of his soapy hands caressing her body and kneading her scalp.
His jabs at her hangover never ceased, but he spoiled her incessantly. He packed up her things, managed to get them to the airport and on the plane, and once she got in her seat, she closed her eyes and didn’t wake up until they landed.
As they pulled into his driveway, Jana reached for his hand. The Christmas lights he’d twisted along the railing of the front porch blinked on and off with the beats of her heart. “It looks perfect, Matt. Thank you for coming and surprising me. I’m sorry you lost some time with Josie though.”
“Barely twenty-four hours. Believe me, it was worth it.” He winked at her and she giggled like a young girl.
She couldn’t think of anything else in the world she wanted. She had it all.
“Come on. I’ve got something we need to do before Danielle brings Josie back.”
“Josie’s not here? It’s Christmas Eve.” Jana had a whole evening planned out for the three of them: hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, Christmas movies, tracking Santa’s route and progress.
“Yes, it is. But it’s just five o’clock, she’ll be back soon,” Matt replied.
“I’m glad you had someone drop you off at the airport and we only had my car there, but I need to go to my apartment. I need to get Mame and Vera. They’ve been alone a lot the last week. I also have wrapping I need to do and—”
“Jana, it’s early still. Do I need to spank my pretty ass now? Or can it wait until later?” Matt scolded.
She had so much she needed to do. With what had happened between her and Matt before she left, she’d laid around crying and didn’t get things done. She considered the spanking offer. It would certainly slow her mind and relax her. His eyes pierced her with such resolve, she shook her head to empty it of all the delicious thoughts her mind concocted, to alleviate the commotion he roused within her.
Giving her lips a quick peck, he laughed. “I admit I love seeing you struggle with whether to get spanked now or later, but get out of the car and in the house. Now,” he demanded.
Pressing her thighs together, as her midsection heated and thrummed, she opened her door and went inside, while he retrieved their luggage.
Mame and Vera greeted her. Jumping around her knees, their tails wagging.
She sat on the floor with them, gazing at the Christmas tree, her heart swelled with happiness. This was home.
Matt came up, crouching behind her, nuzzling her neck. “Come out back with me.” Linking his fingers with hers, he led her outside. Stars filled the night sky. “You take this one.” He handed her a sparkler.
A firework for kids? Why?
Then he took it away from her. “No, no. Not that yet,” he mumbled. He fumbled around with the sparkler he took from her, and one he held. Placing them on the patio table, he reached in his jacket pocket and handed her a mid-sized square wrapped box.
Her breath hitched at first. It couldn’t be a ring, not unless he’d put a ring box in this bigger box. Did he?
“Open it,” he urged.
Taking a deep breath, she k
new it was silly to think it might be a ring. They’d never talked about marriage. Unwrapping the box, she pried it open. Recognizing what she found inside, she laughed reading the centered message encircled by purple pearls on the topper of the plug. Matt’s Ass. She picked it up, rubbing her fingers of the cool, stainless steel.
“Since you did so well this week, I figured Why not? It is my ass, after all. And as I said before, if we choose not to pursue this avenue, we won’t.” He took it from her hand and returned it to the box, placing it on the table.
Picking up the two sparklers, he gave her one back. Sliding his hand back inside his pocket, he pulled out a lighter. Igniting her sparkler, he waited until it sizzled and emitted white spurts of light before lighting his off of hers. “Jana, since we had that encounter last year and I took the privilege of delivering some much needed attention to your backside, and you slapped me, I have known that you are mine. I will do whatever it takes to keep you. I will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I will give you what you need. I will give you what you want. You’re my little firecracker. You light up everything around you. You’re hot as hell.” He emphasized his last admission, clearing his throat. His blue eyes never left hers. “My loins burn for you, baby, as does my heart. And I do love heating up your backside.”
Her jaw tightened and her eyes filled with tears. She shared every single sentiment he professed.
“I know it won’t always be easy. My job can be trying. You’ll be taking on not only me, but Josie.” He got down on one knee.
A sob burst from her throat. She couldn’t believe this was happening.
“Jana Erickson, will you marry me? Please? And make me the luckiest man and currently amateur Dom, ever.” He smiled at her and she fell apart, shaking with the happy cries. He presented her with a beautiful solitaire engagement ring.
