She couldn’t believe what was happening and tried to turn her body away.
Bennet draped his arm across the back of her neck and pulled her into his chest.
“I need to get out,” she told them, tears threatening to stream down her face as she stood to leave. This time she didn’t want Bennet to see those tears, or soothe them. She just wanted to return to her simple life, at her boring job, with her cat, at home.
“Maggie, please, stay here with us. It’ll be okay. Trust us,” Bennet told her as he pulled her back down next to him and pressed his lips against her temple, almost pleading with her as Simon knelt down in front of her and rubbed the tops of her legs, trying to soothe her.
“I can’t. I feel—” She clamped her mouth shut, remembering when Bennet had told her he just wanted honesty. He’d spanked her, then told her all she had to do was be honest and he’d make it better. Except now, she didn’t want him to make it better. She didn’t want him to do anything.
He must have sensed her withdrawal, because he removed his arm from around her neck and cupped her face with both of his hands, while Simon returned to the other side of the hot tub.
“Maggie.” He looked deeply into her eyes. “Tell me what you feel. Don’t hide from me, please. Say what you feel,” he told her as he cradled her face.
She tried to turn away, closing her eyes as the tears surfaced. This was too intimate and she was feeling too vulnerable to speak. “No!” was all she could summon.
“I won’t accept no. Not after all we’ve achieved,” he told her.
That answer created a boiling in her blood and she felt the rise of her emotions as she remembered all they’d been through. “It seems as though you never accept no. You determined from the moment you stood behind me at Walmart that I’d be yours, whether I had a say or not. You manipulated my boss, arranged my flight before I could even say no. You didn’t tell me I’d be a part of some major sex party, you demanded I shower with you, you spanked me and now you want me to involve another man that I thought was a servant. You lied, over and over, and I don’t feel safe or clean anymore. You’ve made me feel like a used-up sex toy and I just want to go home.” She stood up in the middle of the hot tub, tearing herself from Bennet’s hands and preparing herself to climb out of the tub and into the house where she’d put her bra and panties back on.
But then what? It’s not like she could hop in her car and leave. She had no clue where she was or how to even summon a cab. She could call Max and ask him to get her, but she didn’t know if she could trust him either.
As she stood there in the middle of the hot tub, her world whirling around her and two gorgeous men looking up at her, she felt a slight sting of cold tap her shoulder. Then another. And another. She looked down at her shoulder and watched as another snowflake landed, instantly melting as it touched her skin. She couldn’t hope to hide her smile as she tipped her head back and saw white flakes falling from the sky. It was snowing. She’d never seen snow and right now, when she wanted to run away, it started to snow. A small giggle escaped her lips as she continued to watch the snow fall from the sky. It was so quiet and peaceful as it drifted down.
“That’s right. You’ve never seen snow. See, I didn’t bring you here to use you, my beautiful Maggie. I brought you here to show you the world. Something I want to do for the rest of my life,” Bennet told her, pulling her back down into the water next to him, “I only want to bring you pleasure and happiness from now on,” he whispered in her ear as another snowflake landed on the tip of her nose.
Chapter 12
Bennet couldn’t believe she’d invited Simon to the table with them. It was as if she knew he planned to introduce him soon. Then she was determined to assert herself in the smallest ways possible and it thrilled Bennet to no end. She kept him on his toes and excited to see what would happen next – a feeling he hadn’t experienced in years.
As he watched her standing in the middle of the hot tub, her amazing body on display for both he and Simon to enjoy, she smiled, a simple joyous smile that brought a smile to his own lips. At first, he didn’t know why she was smiling and even questioned why she stopped her tirade all together, until he felt a snowflake drop on his shoulder. He watched as simple splendor overcame her and sat back to enjoy the excitement of her experiencing snow for the first time. Here she was, a grown woman, halting herself and her emotions to appreciate something as simple as snow. That’s when he knew she was the one. She enjoyed the simplest things in life, which in turn, made him slow down to enjoy them too. That’s what he needed.
When he’d whispered in her ear, he didn’t realize the seriousness of his declaration until he glanced at Simon and saw the shock on his face. This was it. It was serious.
“It’s so beautiful,” she commented as she closed her eyes and let the snow cascade on her flawless face.
“It is, isn’t it?” Bennet said, pulling her onto his lap and closer to his core. “That’s how I feel about you,” he continued, wrapping his arms around her, enjoying the feel of her naked skin against his.
Simon stood at that moment, the hot water rushing off his body. Thankfully, his longtime assistant understood the magnitude of what had just happened, and chose to excuse himself so Bennet could explore what he’d just admitted for the first time to any woman.
She kept her face tipped back as snow continued to fall from the sky and melt against her impeccable skin. She was at peace and her restless body was settling as the light snowflakes kissed every part of her exposed body, melting into her skin. The snowfall grew faster and thicker as they sat alone in the hot tub. Not a word was passed, nor a seductive gesture. They just became a part of the moment, as the snow melted the memory into both of them.
“I don’t know where to go from here,” Bennet spoke, the words feeling heavy.
“I’m not against a threesome with another man. I’ve actually always wondered what it’d be like. I’m hurt that you lied, after everything I’ve done with you. This isn’t normal for me. I don’t take weeks off of work to romp in the mountains with strangers,” she told him, humor in her tone, which gave Bennet hope.
“I know you don’t. That’s why you’ve become so special to me. Your innocence is infectious. I can tell even Simon wanted some. That’s why I asked him to join,” Bennet admitted, trying his best to clear the air.
“Next time, can you talk to me about it first?” she asked him, wrapping her arms around his neck to snuggle closer to him.
“Of course. I won’t hold anything back,” he told her, pulling her deeper into him as the snow grew so heavy that the steam of the hot tub wasn’t enough to keep them warm.
“Good. Then let’s go inside. Snow is cold,” she told him, shivering.
“All right. I have some outfits I’d like you to try on for the party,” he told her, standing to collect two towels from the shelf next to the hot tub.
“You can ask Simon to join us if you’d like,” she hinted, a playful lust returning to her vixen eyes.
“No problem,” he answered as both of them ran out of the tub and into the warmth of the living room.
Chapter 13
Maggie couldn’t believe she was standing in front of the huge mirror in Bennet’s master bedroom, turning back and forth in an outfit they had chosen days ago for her to wear tonight, the biggest night of her life.
She felt the sexiest she’d ever felt in her whole life, and couldn’t believe she was finally attending the naughty Christmas party she’d been decorating for all week. Guests had begun to arrive and Simon had resumed his role as butler, dressed in a very expensive suit that showcased his rock hard body.
The guys had educated her as to how the party usually unfolded. Everyone came dressed in their best attire, men in suits and ties and women in glamorous gowns. They feasted on lavish meals, talked about the latest in their lives, then retired into smaller groups where the real adult activities took place.
As they’d decorated, Bennet advised her of the various subtle t
hings they should include that their guests would appreciate as the night unfolded. Little things like Christmas baskets with condoms and bowls with moist warm towels. He also suggested she use the faux fur she was so keen on because it was soft, a texture that would be appreciated on surfaces such as coffee tables and floors as everyone fell into their lustful moods.
“Now that one is by far my favorite,” Bennet told her as she turned to face him in a navy blue fringed mini dress with a draped front halter top, which showcased her amazing chest. The sliced front brushed against her nipples as she moved, exciting them and bringing them to hard peaks. This was her second outfit for the night, the outfit Bennet advised her to slip into moments ago, when the crowd shifted into a more seductive mood.
Since she was introduced as Bennet’s date, she was also expected to lead the way for various events. This dress, Bennet told her, would trigger a flurry of women to retire to one of the six bedrooms in the house to change into their own lingerie and join her.
“I agree,” Simon chimed in, from the door. After Maggie had invited him to join them the other evening, the three of them had become quite comfortable with each other and Maggie grew to enjoy the affection of two men. She turned to him and smiled, thanking him for the compliment. She stepped next to Bennet, who draped his arm around her back and gestured for her to lead the way.
She couldn’t believe that only a week ago she was struggling to buy herself a couple of Christmas decorations to appease her Christmas spirit and now she was hosting an elite party for a very important crowd. The most surprising thing was how at ease she felt. She was comfortable with the idea of stepping into a room with a group of strangers, dressed in an outfit that was only deemed appropriate for the bedroom. It felt liberating and natural.
She stepped past Simon – who grabbed a handful of her bottom, before stepping to the side – and smiled at the first couple that noticed her re-appearance. “Hello. Please feel free to slip into something more comfortable,” she advised the couple with a warm smile.
The woman smiled back and turned to her husband, taking his hand to enter the room that Maggie had just vacated.
Maggie continued into the main room, where the chatter around the room slowly lessened into a mere whisper. She smiled and Bennet stepped forward, his hand on the small of her back as he spoke.
“I want to take this time to thank all of you for coming. This has been by far the best Christmas party yet and I’d like to thank Maggie for spending the past week here with me, decking my halls.” The room erupted in laughter, then he continued. “Please, feel free to slip into something more comfortable and let the festivities begin,” he announced with his dominant, powerful voice. Their guests laughed and fluttered away while Bennet turned to Maggie for the kiss that would start the beginning of a long and happy relationship.
The End.

Chapter 1
Wearing this dress was a stupid idea.
It was cut too low and hugged her generous curves too tightly. She shouldn’t have agreed to wear it but Darrick had insisted, and her boss was nothing if not persistent.
Janelle fidgeted with the mask that hid the top half of her face. Her heart raced and her palms were sweaty, but her footing was sure and fluid as she made her way through the crowd at the first ever Christmas Eve ball of Whispering Castle. Bodies were packed tight and noise filled the throne room, excitement and joy bathing the air with an aftertaste of feverish wonder.
This was exactly what she needed in order to be able to go through unnoticed and leave. Her fingers brushed the small pouch hidden in the folds of her dress, just below her waist. It contained a prize worth more money than she had ever dreamed of.
This was the theft to end all thefts.
A genius theft planned by Darrick over the last two months, ever since Lord Aldric had announced that the human celebration of Christmas would now be part of the kingdom’s tradition. Janelle had executed that plan to a T and now all she had to do was slip outside the castle, leaving as inconspicuously as she had arrived among the thousand guests.
Janelle made her way through the people, smiling brightly as she twirled from one group to the next, chuckling, telling jokes, nodding at conversations without staying with any given group long enough to leave a lasting impression.
Her eyes strayed to the door at the back of the throne room. Just a bit farther and she would slip through, then head straight for the servants’ exit. No one would remember the girl in the silver gown. At least, not until after it was too late and she was long gone.
A few minutes later, Janelle turned away from a small group of young women and stepped into the deep shadows at the back of the room, away from the excitement of the ball. Her gloved hand closed on the doorknob and the sound of her heartbeat drowned out the ambient noise. This was always the part where she was nervous. Where things could go wrong.
“Leaving so soon?”
A deep masculine voice startled her and Janelle dropped her hand back to her side. Blood rushed to her ears and she blinked furiously. She glanced sideways, making out the outline of a tall, well-built man. Cocking her head, she smiled as innocently as she knew how – and she knew how. She wasn’t the best thief in the kingdom for nothing.
“Of course not!” She laughed and turned to face him.
All the words she was about to deliver, as expertly rehearsed as her laughter and her smile, faded to nothing. The man standing directly in front of her was tall and broad-shouldered, his dark hair cut short and neat. The top of his face was hidden behind a black mask, completely unadorned, while the bottom half was bare. His jaw was strong and square, and his lips had a firmness that spoke of refined tastes and slow pleasures. From behind the mask, his sharp, intelligent eyes settled on her with purpose.
And those eyes were bright silver.
Draekon. Damned be the old Gods. This guy is Draekon.
A shiver ran down Janelle’s spine, coursing under her skin like a kiss. Two pools of pure silver stared at her through the mask, so beautiful she forgot to breathe. Seconds passed and her lungs burned. Janelle suddenly took in a large breath and the stranger tilted his head. She was acting more and more like a hare-brained girl and less and less like the professional she was.
I’m losing it!
She mentally shook off the shock of standing right in front of a Draekon and pasted her well-rehearsed, seductive smile back onto her lips. Those two silver eyes missed nothing, noting her smile then sliding down her body in a masculine assessment.
His hard lips curved up in the sexiest grin she’d ever seen.
“That dress is beautiful.” The stranger’s grin widened, exposing even, white teeth. “It suits you.”
Janelle opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. She clamped it shut again, frustrated at her own stupidity.
What’s wrong with me? He’s going to get suspicious.
“Thank you,” she finally said, h
er voice smaller and less confident than it usually was. “This party is wonderful.”
The stranger cast a wide look around then brought his silver gaze back on her.
“Not as wonderful as you in that dress.” Again, that sexy, almost mocking grin. “You are by far the most beautiful woman in the room. Why hide in the shadows?”
Janelle glanced down at the silver dress hugging her curves in a layer of lace over satin. It had a low bodice with straps that crossed between her breasts and a flared fit just under her rounded hips. It was beautiful, she only wished there was more of it. On her face, the silver mask was ornate with black feathers, complementing her long, shiny black hair.
It had all been a clever disguise, dreamed up by Darrick. Now, because of the way this stranger was looking at her, she wasn’t so sure that blending in with the rich people of the kingdom of Katanie was a good idea.
I need to get rid of him or I won’t be able to complete my mission.
But how could she get rid of the Draekon and not arouse suspicion at the same time?
“I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure.” His silver eyes didn’t leave her as he spoke. “I’m sure I would not have forgotten those eyes. What is your name?”
Yes, what was her name? She tried but she couldn’t remember Darrick’s expertly crafted cover story, the one she’d rehearsed until she was blue in the face.
“This is a masked ball.” Janelle tossed her head and pursed her lips into a pout. It worked. The Draekon’s sexy grin faded and his eyes strayed down her neck. “Isn’t the point of it to remain anonymous? Shouldn’t my name stay a mystery?”
That sexy grin came back with a vengeance and his silver eyes shone with amusement.
