"I don't know. I mean we still have looks, money, and power. There are three of you left, not counting Camryn who couldn't possibly benefit since it is her reversal spell."
"So who do you think is next? And what do you think will be their gain?"
"It's hard to say.” Candace looked around at her friends. “Allison is the most shy. I could see her needing looks or maybe power, but she has enough money to get by on. Of course there is no rhyme or reason to this, or is there?"
"What about Macy?"
"Hmm.” Candace took a sip of the red wine. “She's another tough one. We also have to remember you, Sandra. One of these spells will work in your favor. Unfortunately your Sight won't allow you to see your own future to tell us anything."
"I am wondering if we should tell the others."
"Half the fun will be in seeing how it plays out. If they don't know it's coming it will be all that much more interesting. Look at Tamara and me, completely blindsided by our good luck. I think it will be more fun to keep them in the dark. At least for a little longer."
Strong arms wrapped around her waist, and lips nibbled on her neck. Candace smiled at Sandra as she leaned back against Brody. He cupped her ass in one hand and whispered in her ear. “Wanna sneak out of the party early?"
Wide-eyed, she turned around and poked him in the chest. “This is your way of apologizing, and you want to sneak out early?"
Brody's cheeks colored, but he grinned. “That package came today. It was delivered next door by mistake and Garnett's son brought it over just now. We could sneak out of here, go upstairs and try out a few toys, and come back before anyone notices."
"The toys came?” Candace licked her lips in anticipation.
"Go on, you two. We're not going anywhere.” Sandra laughed and gestured to the kitchen. “Besides, you need to get your fun in now before the little one comes."
"Little one?” Candace froze and turned around.
"Yeah.” Sandra grinned. “What did you expect when you two are doing it at every opportunity you can get?"
Candace blushed and looked up at Brody.
"Hey, listen to your High Priestess, Sweetheart. We better get in the fun now while we can.” He grinned at Sandra, hooked his arm through Candace's and led her into the kitchen.
