I nod. I’m looking forward to meeting Gray’s family.
“Okay Sis, text me your flight details and I’ll come get you at the airport…. See you Friday… Love you too…Bye.”
“Sienna’s coming to LA?” I ask, gathering that much from the one-sided conversation I overheard.
“Yeah, she has a part in a TV dance show. They’re filming this weekend. She’s so excited,” he says proudly.
“That’s fantastic.”
“Yeah it is. She’s a really good dancer, so she deserves this. Hey, are you sure you don’t mind her staying here? She can have my room and I’ll bunk in with you if that’s okay.”
I tangle my legs with his, feeling the hairs on his legs scratch over mine lightly.
“I’d love you to bunk in with me,” I reply. “In fact, why don’t you just move your stuff over to the master room with me and then Sienna will have room for her things?”
Grayson runs his hands over my back. “Why Miss Lucas, moving so fast!” he teases.
I tap my forehead to his. “Gray, I feel like this has been a long time coming, I don’t feel the need to wait when we both want this. Work is going to separate us soon enough, let’s make the most of the time we have together while we can.”
“You won’t hear any arguments from me on that front Liv,” he says as he trails light kisses over my collarbone.
“What do you want to do today?” I ask, as I tip my head to the side to allow him access to my neck. I have the day off and I intend to make the most of my time with Grayson.
“I don’t want to move from this spot. I’ve got nowhere to be,” he says with a cheeky grin, as he pulls me astride him and lies back onto his pillow.
“Well; whatever will we do with all that time?” I say in my best southern accent, batting my eyelashes at him.
“I can think of quite a few things Liv, and none of them involve talking.”
Grayson growls as he pulls me to him, and kisses me like his life depends on it. All talking stops as we make the most of the day we have together.
Multiple times.
Sisterly love
I spot Sienna at the luggage carousel as soon as I make my way through the doors at LAX. I know I’m biased, but my baby sister is stunning.
She has the same dark, almost black hair as I do, but hers is silky and long and hangs like a curtain down her back. Her eyes are the same deep green as mine, and she has a typical dancer’s body, long and lean, with an elegance that many don’t have. She pulls her suitcase from the belt as I sidle up beside her, and place a kiss on her cheek from behind.
“Gray!” she squeals before jumping into my arms.
My sister is certainly not shy, and let’s just say that she perfectly fits her theatrical lifestyle. She loves being in the limelight.
That being said, she’s worked damn hard to get where she is. She’s a phenomenal dancer and she deserves every bit of success that comes her way.
“I’m so happy to see you,” she says before going back in for a second hug.
“I’ve missed you too Sis. C’mon, let’s head to the car.”
I grab the handle to her case and hook my arm through hers, manoeuvring our way through the crowd at LAX.
As she buckles into her seatbelt, she turns to me. “So big brother, tell me about Olivia.”
“What do you want to know?” I ask.
“Everything,” she says with a smile. “I can’t wait to meet her. I love Forever is Mine and she was sooo good in it. Oh, will I get to see Ethan again too while I’m here?”
“Well, Ethan and his new wife Ava are still in Thailand on their honeymoon, but they’ll be back next week so you’ll get to see them when they return. As for Olivia, well she’s back at the apartment waiting on us, so you’ll get to meet her when we get there.”
Sienna claps her hands together in excitement. “So is she your girlfriend?” she asks, pulling down her sunglasses so I can see her eyes.
She’s acting more like a child than an almost twenty-one year old woman!
“Yes,” I say rolling my eyes. “She’s my girlfriend Sienna. What is this, second grade?” I pull the car out of the parking spot and head for the freeway.
She laughs. “I’m just looking out for my favourite brother.”
“Hey, don’t let Christian hear you calling me that. He’d be pissed!” I reply.
“I would never tell him that,” she scoffs. “He thinks he’s my favourite.”
Both Christian and I adore Sienna, we always have.
From the moment our mom brought her home from the hospital we both wanted her attention and affection. As a result, she’s always been the spoilt one, and the one that gets away with everything. I can’t recall how many times Christian and I have taken the rap for something that Sienna did over the years. The only down side for her is that she has two very protective older brothers, who watch her every move.
Let’s just say that dating has been a difficult experience for her. No-one is ever good enough in our eyes.
“So,” she prods, “…..tell me more about Olivia.”
“Well as you know she’s an actress; she’s Australian…”
“I don’t want to know that stuff. I already know all of that! I want to know about her and you… how long you’ve been dating, all that…” she prompts.
“Well,” I say. “We’ve known each other since Ethan introduced us when they first started filming Forever is mine. I’ve spent a fair bit of time with her, especially since her sister starting going out with Ethan, but we only really got together pretty recently.”
I don’t want to tell her how recently; because she would probably think we were mad, moving so fast. She hasn’t been here to witness my relationship with Liv over the past few weeks, so she wouldn’t understand. Even though Liv was with Ryan, we’ve been destined to be together from the first moment we met.
“Do you love her?” she asks.
Trust my nosy little sister to come straight out and ask me that.
I nod. “Yep, I do.”
Sienna softens her voice and smiles. “I’m so happy for you Gray. I can’t wait to meet her.”
“I can’t wait for you to meet her either Si,” I reply, as I sneak a look at my sister while still concentrating on the road ahead.
“Enough about me. Tell me about you. I want to know all about this dance show you’re here to do.”
“Well I auditioned and was chosen to be one of only ten young dancers to appear on the season premiere of a new dance show called Dance for your Life. It’s a competition style show, but I’m not competing, I’m part of the resident troupe. We have four routines to rehearse with the choreographer this weekend and then we shoot on Monday. There may be a return gig in it too, so I’m really excited.”
“Hey, I’m filming my first film clip on Tuesday next week. You should come. I’m not sure if they need dancers but if they do, I can get you the gig.”
“Gray that would be so awesome. I would love to be in your film clip.”
“Leave it with me Si, and I’ll see what I can do.”
I flip on the indicator to pull into my car spot in our apartment complex.
“This is it.” I say as I turn off the ignition.
Sienna looks up at the building before us. “Wow Gray, this is really nice. Are you sure Olivia doesn’t mind me staying?”
I shake my head. “No, it was her idea for you to stay with us. She’s looking forward to having you.”
Olivia opens the front door after Sienna knocks.
I can’t find my keys. They’re somewhere in my pockets, but my hands are full with Sienna’s luggage.
Liv looks her usual gorgeous self. Long hair pulled up into a messy bun, ripped jeans and white t-shirt. She would look gorgeous in a potato sack, truth be told.
Liv smiles at us and then steps aside so we can enter.
“Sienna, it’s so nice to meet you,” she says as she pulls my sister in for a hug.
“You to
o. Thanks for letting me stay.” Si responds.
“It’s a pleasure. I’m pleased that we can spend some time getting to know one another. Come out to the balcony and we can have a drink.”
“I’ll just put your luggage into your room Sis and I’ll be back.”
I find my two favourite ladies lounging back on the balcony sipping soda and chatting like they’ve known each other forever. I knew they’d get along great, they’re both actually very similar. I make my way over and take the seat next to Liv, slapping a loud wet kiss on her cheek as I pass.
A beep from my phone alerts me to the fact that I have a text. I pull my phone from my pocket and check the screen.
Going out tonite for a drink and pool. You in? Coop
“Cooper and the boys are heading out for a drink tonight; do you both feel like going for a bit?”
“Definitely,” Sienna says. “I’d love to see the boys again; it’s been ages since I’ve seen them.”
Liv nods her acceptance with a smile.
“Okay, I’ll text back and let them know that we’ll be there.”
Cool, I’m looking forward to showing off my two girls.
Liv and I are ready and waiting for Sienna to make her appearance before we can head to the bar.
Liv looks beautiful as always in jeans, heels and a tight black halter top. I can’t resist running my fingers across the exposed back and placing a kiss between her shoulder blades.
“Right now I’m thinking about cancelling going out and staying right here where I can enjoy you,” I say as I trail a kiss across her back.
“Mmmmm,” she replies. “If you keep that up then I think you may just convince me to stay in with you all night Gray.”
As Sienna rounds the corner, I mutter to Liv, “Hold that thought.”
She nods and we both turn to my sister.
“Sienna, you’re not going out in that!” I say loudly.
Both Sienna and Olivia look at me with open mouths. “What’s wrong with this?” she asks.
“It’s way too short, and cut way too low. You’ll send the wrong message to all the guys at the bar in that,” I say incredulously.
Sienna and Olivia both laugh at my tone.
“Gray, she looks fine,” Liv says. “The dress I wore to Ryan’s party was shorter than that.”
“I’m well aware of that Liv, and look how that night turned out!” I state, annoyed that she isn’t backing me up.
Liv smiles, “I thought that night ended up pretty well actually, but who am I to talk!”
I smile at her, “I thought it ended up pretty well too.” I hold my hand out and she takes it, running her thumb over my palm.
I look over Sienna once more. “Fine Si, wear that dress, but I’ll be keeping a very close eye on you tonight.”
“You always keep a very close eye on me Gray. If I didn’t love you so much, I’d tell you where to go.” She picks up her purse from the dining table and starts to move towards the door.
Now I’m anxious.
I don’t want to be fending guys away from my baby sister all night, but it looks like that is exactly what the evening has in store for me.
Not only do I have a stunning Hollywood actress on my arm, who garners attention wherever we go, now my sister is getting in on the act.
God help me!
Getting through the door of the bar tonight was much harder than usual. Not only were there photographers present, snapping shot after shot of Liv and I, but I had to try and fend off the attention that the bouncer was giving to Sienna.
I knew this night was going to suck, and now apparently it’s going to be exhausting too. I won’t be staying late.
We spot the guys over by the pool table surrounded by their usual gaggle of women. Coop and Matt both wave as we make our way to the table that Will is seated at.
“Hey Guys,” Will says as he pushes his seat back and stands. We shake hands and he places a kiss on Liv’s cheek. “Please tell me that this is not Sienna!” he exclaims.
Sienna giggles and gives Will a one-armed-hug.
“It’s me!” she chirps.
Will leans close. “Jesus man, you’re going to have to keep an eye on her, the guys around here are going to want to eat her up.”
I’ve never wanted to punch Will more in my whole life.
I grit my teeth and make my way to the bar to get drinks while the girls settle at the table.
Cooper grabs my arm as I pass. “Gray, dude, is that your fuckin’ sister? Please tell me it is.”
“Keep your hands off her Coop, I mean it.” I give him my best big-brother stare and move past him to the bar. I hear him chuckle from behind me as he continues his game of pool.
When I get back to the table, Liv and Sienna are on the dance floor.
I can’t take my eyes away from them. Not because I want to keep a close eye on them, although God knows I’m doing that, but because they’re both so gorgeous that I can’t look away.
Neither can most of the men in this bar.
I sit for as long as I can stand it before I make my way over there. I can’t have the douchebags in this place thinking that either of them is available.
I wrap my arms around Liv’s waist from behind and roll my hips into hers. She places her hands over mine and swivels her hips wider, taking mine with her.
“You’re beautiful Liv. I couldn’t just sit there and watch you, I needed a taste,” I say, as I lick a trail from her shoulder to her ear.
She giggles and turns in my arms, throwing her hands behind my head and kissing me hard and deep.
“You two are too much,” I hear Sienna say from beside us as she makes her way off the dance floor.
Right now all my big-brother instincts have headed south, and all I can see and taste is Liv.
As Olivia’s arms start to run over my back and chest I realise that I need to get her home. I don’t want to be here, I just want to be alone and naked with her.
“Let’s get out of here Liv; I want to get you home.”
“But we only just got here.”
“I don’t care, I want you to myself.”
She bites down on that plump bottom lip and nods her acceptance as I take her hand and all but pull her off the dance floor.
Cooper and Matt have joined Will at the table, and Sienna is involved in a lively discussion with them.
“We’re out of here Si.” I say.
“No worries,” she says, “I’m sure the boys will see that I get home okay.”
“Sure,” Coop says, “I’ll get her home Gray.”
He gives me that smug grin that he does. The one that I want to punch off his face whenever he does it.
“Yeah, I’m sure you will Coop.”
Just as I’m about to say - “No way” - Liv whispers in my ear. “Let her be Gray, she’s old enough to look after herself and she wants to have some fun. The boys will take care of her. Besides, with what I have planned for you, we need the apartment to ourselves.”
She gives me a wicked grin, and that seals the deal.
I point my finger at Cooper, trying to look menacing. “She’s your responsibility man, make sure you look after her.”
“Of course I will Gray,” he says as he turns back to Sienna.
Liv and I make our way out of the bar, through the photographers that are camped out front and into a waiting cab.
As Olivia nibbles on my ear in the back seat, I sit hoping that I’ve done the right thing leaving Sienna at the bar. The boys had better look after her.
Just as my thoughts start to darken and I consider going back, Liv takes my mouth in a ravenous kiss and all thoughts of anything but her disappear.
Dark-haired Girl
I love Sienna! She is so much fun.
She’s bright and vivacious, and she knows how to push Gray’s buttons. It’s been a treat watching them interact over the past few days. Especially, once Gray got word that she had hooked up with Cooper after we left the bar. Let’s just say t
hat poor Coop was on the receiving end of a few choice words from Gray.
That being said, Sienna is almost twenty-one, Gray needs to get over his overprotectiveness already.
Today we’re all in the Studio preparing to shoot the first film clip for Awesome Rebel’s debut single, Dark-haired girl.
It’s making its way up the charts really fast and the attention that it is drawing for the band is amazing. I’m so proud of Gray.
I am already in costume with full hair and make-up. Mind you when I say costume, I mean funky jeans and a top that they have poured me into.
Apparently they want to get shots of Grayson and me hanging out, making out and having fun, so all in all, this will be a pretty innocent film clip compared to some that I’ve seen.
Of course, the media have gone wild with the story of Gray and me together. Our photos have been splashed across every weekly and on-line media site for the past week. Even Ava and Ethan called us yesterday from their honeymoon to say that they were happy for us after seeing the magazine covers.
I miss my sister. I can’t wait for her to get home in a couple of days.
So far the stories have been pretty accurate and the attention hasn’t hurt the debut of the single at all. I do worry about how that will change once Gray goes on tour, but I’m trying not to think about it.
I don’t want to worry about all the girls he will be hooked up with in the media once he is out of my reach.
As for me, well my life became public fodder even before Forever is Mine was released. Now, I’m just used to turning a blind eye to it all. Part and parcel of this business I guess.
Grayson was a nervous wreck last night.
It’s the first time I’ve ever seen him like that.
He’s usually so laid back and confident, but this is all rattling him a little. I guess that seeing your dreams come to fruition is a bit daunting. Suffice to say, it took me a lot longer than usual to calm him down last night, not that either of us were complaining about that.
Right now my gorgeous boy is pacing the floor.
He has just come from wardrobe after having his hair done. If I thought he was hot before, that was nothing compared to what they have done to him now.
