Save Me, Daddy: Rainbow Room Book 1 Page 9

by L. Michael

Cute. Ok, I can do cute. Oh, then I needed only the best colors. It only took me a couple of minutes before I was engrossed in my page. It was soothing and relaxing. Time flew by and was startled when Daddy touched my shoulder.

“Lunch is ready, Peanut. Put your stuff away, please.”

But my masterpiece was nearly finished, but I wanted pancakes. With a sigh, I put the coloring book and my crayons away and looked up. Just in time to see Daddy coming back to the table with a kitchen towel.

“Des is going to bring some bibs for you. Until then, we will make this work. It’s either that or I will need to paint the kitchen.” Daddy winked at me. “There is a lot of chocolate sauce on your plate.”

“Yay!” Clapping my hands together while Daddy tied the towel around my neck. “Will Des bring cute bibs? With animals?”

“I'm sure he will choose only the cutest bibs for you, Peanut.” Daddy chuckled and walked back to pick up our plates. “He´s Uncle Des after all. Don't be surprised when he brings presents as well.”

“Presents?” For me? Ok, Uncle Des could come over. After all, if he was bringing me presents. Who am I to say no to that? Daddy placed a cute yellow plate in front of me, and I forgot about groceries, Uncle Des, and presents. There was a giant pile of pancakes, topped with a smiley made of chocolate sauce, and in a different section chocolate sauce to dip them in. There were bananas in another section, all peeled and cut into small pieces, and they all had smiley faces carved into them as well. “Daddy, look! Smileys!”

“Really?” Daddy grinned and sat down beside me. “Must be magic.”

  “Magic?”

“Yes, of course, magic. The best magic of all, Daddy Magic.”

When I finished my pancakes, I smiled at Daddy and showed him my empty plate. “All done, Daddy!”

“And you even ate the banana smileys! That's my good boy.”

  “Can I have dessert now?”

“Absolutely not. You just ate chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate sauce. You had enough sugar for one day. You had a dessert lunch.”

“But, Daddy…” I pouted. “I ate everything off my plate.” Why couldn't I have a dessert as a reward?

“But Daddy nothing, Peanut. I said no.” Daddy got up, took our plates, and put them into the dishwasher. Then he came back with a washcloth to clean my face.

“Little Boy, you even have chocolate sauce in your hair. There won't be dessert now, but you are getting a bath later.”

“A bath?” I stared up at Daddy while he cleaned my face. I always dreamed of a Daddy bathing me. The intimacy of it. The fun I could have with the bubbles and toys.

  “Would you enjoy that, Peanut?”

  “I'd love that.”

“Great, we have a plan for the rest of the day. A surprise, Uncle Des is bringing us groceries, dinner, and a bath. It’s going to be a full day.”

Oh! Right, yes. Daddy had mentioned a surprise before, and he said that I could have it after lunch.

“Daddy. Can I have my surprise now? What is it? Will I like it?”

  “I hope so.”

  “What is it?”

“It's a room for a special boy, Peanut.”

A room? What kind of surprise was that? It sounded kind of lame. Or was my surprise in the, oh? OH! Realization struck when I saw the gentle smile on Daddy’s face. “You have a playroom! Oh, wait. Or is it a nursery?”

“I don't have a crib or a changing table, so it's more of a playroom. I thought you'd like to play in it for a while.”

“Yes! Please, Daddy. I want to see it. And play in it!” I jumped off my chair and took Daddy’s hand, tugging on it so he would get up and show me. “Can I choose whatever toys I want?”

“Sure.” Daddy led me into the hallway towards a closed door. “I’ll show you, then go clean up the kitchen, okay?”

“Okay, Daddy.” Impatiently I rocked on my feet, staring at the still-closed door. “Can I see it now? Pretty please, Daddy?”

“Go on then.” Daddy opened the door, and my jaw dropped.

“Wow.” The room was beautiful. Someone had painted murals all over the walls that made it look like I was swimming under the ocean. Seaweed, coral, and fish covered the walls. Oh my. Cute little turtles. They were adorable, and I stared at them for a while before I kept looking around. There was a single bed with an ocean-themed blanket. In one corner was a giant rocking chair. Oh my. Daddy could hold me and rock me. Beside the chair was a shelf filled with books. To my left were more shelves, filled with boxes full of toys, and there was a rug with streets on it.

  “What do you think, Peanut?”

“I love it! It's…” The writing on one of the boxes had me stopped in my tracks. “Animals!” I let go of Daddy’s hand and rushed over to the shelf. The boxes were full of all sorts of animals. A lion caught my eye, so I grabbed it and dropped down on my knees.

  “Raaaawwwwrrrrrrrr! Man-eating lion coming through.”

“Here.” Daddy knelt beside me and pulled out a different box. “Fences. How about you start building a zoo while I clean the kitchen.”

“I’ll make the bestest zoo ever!”

“I´m sure you will, Peanut.” Daddy kissed my hair before he stood up. “Okay, I'm going to clean the kitchen. You play. I'll be back in just a few minutes. Remember Peanut, if you need me, call for me or come get me, ok?”

  “Uh-huh, yeah, ok, Daddy.”

Zoo construction had begun, and I was on a mission to build the best zoo. And for that mission, I needed the perfect animals. There were penguins, oh Zebras. Nice. OK. Oh yes, elephants. Huh. Boring cows and horses. Not at my zoo. In my zoo, there would be only the wildest animals. I shrieked when I found a tiger and quickly dug into the box with the fences. Those would contain the animals.

  Chapter 11

  Jakob

The sounds Sam made while he set up his zoo made me smile. The most adorable noises followed each new animal he discovered. Right now, I could hear he was setting up elephants, and I laughed when he trumpeted. Sam was cute when he was an adult, but when he was Little, he was downright adorable. And he was mine, playing in my nursery, while I cleaned.

He was mine. To care for and protect. I'd never thought that I would ever be in a position where I needed to step in to defend him. But when Curtis verbally attacked him this morning, I needed to do something. Even if hitting that asshole wasn't the smartest choice. I protected my Little Sam, and now I was taking care of him. After his scare today, I would let him stay in Little mode as long as he needed to. Tomorrow I would have to make sure that he talked about his feelings as an adult. We needed to talk about what had happened, but that had time. Right now, it was more important for him to relax.

It took me a moment to realize that something was off. Crap, no animal sounds were coming from the playroom. Instead, I heard a quiet sniffle. Oh no. I threw the kitchen towel into the sink and rushed out of the kitchen and into the playroom, only to find Sam still on the floor. But now he was hugging his knees to his chest, and I could see tears on his cheeks.

“Sam? What's wrong?” I dropped to my knees and looked him over. “Did you hurt yourself? What is it, Peanut?”

“I- I was playing, and then I realized th- that you were g-gone and I-I got scared.”

“Oh, Sam.” My posture relaxed, and I sat back and gently pulled him onto my lap. “Why didn't you come to the kitchen or call for me?”

“I-I don't know. I was playing, and-and then I thought-and my mind I just. I remembered this morning and what Curtis said, and you weren't here…”

Well, shit. I shouldn’t have left Sam alone. Not in this fragile state of mind.

  “I´m sorry, Peanut.”

“I was so scared.” Sam threw his arms around me and sobbed.

“Shhh. It’s ok, Peanut. I know. I'm here now.” I rubbed his back, trying to calm him down and whispered gently. “I'm here now. I got you, Peanut.” We sat there for a while until the sobs finally quieted down, and Sam took a deep breath.
“Do you feel better now?”

“I…” Sam reached out and grabbed my hand. I thought he would suckle on my thumb again, but he just held it to his face and rubbed his cheek against it. “You're here now.”

“Yes, Peanut. I'm here now, and you don't have to be scared anymore.”

“Thank you, Daddy.” Sam sighed and relaxed against me. This time he did start to suckle on my thumb for a moment before he dropped my hand again. “Can we play with the zoo now?”

“Before we can do that, we need to talk about something, Sam. I shouldn’t have left you alone, and I'm sorry I did. But you should have called for me or come to the kitchen when you got scared as I told you to, and you didn't.”

  “I broke your rules. Again.”

“Yes, Peanut. I let you get away with it the last few times. But this time, I'm going to punish you so you'll remember to tell me when you need me or when something's wrong. Do you understand that?”

“Yes, Daddy.” His voice was so small that I knew I couldn´t spank him. Not in a situation like that. I didn’t think I would ever be able to punish him physically, so that meant I would have to get creative about future punishments.

“Good boy. Now let's get this punishment out of the way so we can play with the zoo until Uncle Des comes over.” I kissed his head and nudged him until he looked at me. “I want you to go and stand in the corner for ten minutes. I want you to think about how much better it would have been if you called for me.”

  “B-But you… stay here?”

“Yes, Peanut. I'll sit in my chair and watch over you. I´ll be here the whole time and now go and be a good boy for Daddy.”

Sam nodded, got off my lap, and walked over to the corner. His shoulders hunched forward, and his head hung down, but he stood in the corner and faced the wall. As quietly as possible, I got up and walked over to the rocking chair. It pained me to punish him when he was already hurting, but he needed to learn. If he couldn’t follow my directions, he could get seriously injured in the future. The biggest lesson I wanted to teach him was to ask for me when he needed me. He needed to know he could count on me. But I’m not a mind reader.

After only two minutes, I could tell by his body movements he had started to cry again. But he said nothing, so I waited. I set the alarm on my phone so I wouldn´t have to look at the clock and could watch him the entire time. But when his knees bent a bit, I glanced at it. Five minutes. I sat up, willing to help him out when he finally, quietly called for me.

  “D-Daddy?”

  “I´m right here, Peanut.”

“I… it hurts so much. Can you- Can you…” Sam hiccupped on a sob. “P-Please, Daddy?”

“What do you need from Daddy, Peanut?”

  “Can you... p-please? I h-hate this corner.”

“Tell me what you need from Daddy, Sam.” He sobbed again, shook his head, but then he held out his arm, his hand pointing in my direction.

  “P-Please help me, Daddy.”

“Sam, sweetheart, I need your words.”

  “Pl-pl-please hold m-me Daddy.”

I went over, sat on the floor behind him, and pulled on his hand until he let himself drop back. When he sat on my lap, I just held him tight and stroked his back. “That's my good Boy. I´m so proud of you, Peanut.”

  “Is… is it over?”

“No. You have still four minutes left, but I'm going to sit here with you and hold you through it, okay?”

  “Thank you, Daddy.”

“Will you remember to call out for me the next time you need me?”

  “I will, Daddy, I promise.”

“Good Boy.” I kissed his cheek, and without even thinking about it, I raised my hand and touched his lip with my thumb. He immediately opened up and started to suckle. “There. Now stay quiet for the rest of your punishment, and then you can show me your zoo.”

  ◆◆◆

“No! Daddy, what are you doing!” Sam exclaimed two hours later when I put a kangaroo into the compound where the koala was living.

“We only have one kangaroo. Mr. Roo is from Australia like his koala friend, and he'll be lonely if we put him into a separate compound.”

We had the floor covered with an expansive zoo. For the last two hours, we worked together to create Sam’s masterpiece. It took most of the playroom floor. Each species of animal had its separate compound. Even when he was playing, Sam’s genius mind was hard at work. There was a clear structure to his zoo. About an hour ago, I got a ten-minute lecture about putting zebras too close to the lions. Who knew that it would be too tempting for the lions to have zebras in the next compound?

“You don’t want Mr. Roo to be lonely, do you?”

Sam opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, there was a knock on the door.

“That's Des. Do you want to come with me?”

He shook his head. “C-Can I stay here and play?”

“Of course, Peanut. But you know that Des won't mind seeing you in your Little space.” Sam shrugged and went back to playing with his animals. Sam would show Des his Little side when he was ready.

“What do you do if you need something?”

  “I call for my Daddy.”

“Good boy.” I kissed his head and left the playroom. With a sigh, I went down the hallway to the front door. I couldn't wait for this day to be over. I enjoyed playing with Sam, but it had been a long and emotional day for both of us. Oh, maybe I’ll order pizza for dinner. I couldn´t bring myself to cook. Yep, pizza, cuddling, a bath, and then bed sounded perfect.

I opened the door, expecting to see Des. Instead, I found myself face to face with a giant, blue dolphin.

  “What the hell is that?”

“A friend for Sam.” Des’s head appeared behind the oversized stuffed animal. “Every Little who is hurting needs a plushie friend. And from what you told me about this morning, Sam needs a huge one.”

  “Des…”

“Don’t Des me.” Des shoved the oversized stuffed animal into my arms and grabbed the four shopping bags that were on the floor. “I'm the nice Uncle who gets to spoil the Littles. Speaking of which. Where is he?”

“Playroom. Sam is still too shy to meet you.” I gestured to Des to follow me to the kitchen. “Do you need help with the bags?”

  “No, I´m good.”

The giant dolphin went on the table before I turned to help him with the groceries. “Thank you so much for helping me out. I would go myself, but I don’t want to leave him alone, yet.”

“Anytime.” Des turned around a worried look on his face. “How are you and Sam holding up? You look beat.”

Animal noises sounded from the playroom. “Sam is deep in his Little space. And me. Well yeah, I’m tired. It’s been a stressful day.”

“Yeah, little space can be therapeutic, and a coping mechanism for some depending on the situation. Some Littles automatically slip into that space when stressed. And If it helps Sam, why not just let him be Little?” Des unpacked one of the bags and showed me a stack of bibs. “Here. I hope he likes them. As ordered, I bought the ones with cute animals.”

“Thank god. Seriously, it's fun to watch him eat, but it's a nightmare to clean him up afterward. Today he even got chocolate in his hair.”

“I should have bought bibs with hoods then,” Des answered laughing, while he pulled out four packages. “I also brought binkies with cute animals.”

  “Oh, he doesn’t use binkies.”

“He doesn't?” Des raised his eyebrows and stared at me. “How old is he when he's Little?”

“Five or six. But I don’t think it has to do with Sam’s age. He just doesn’t use them. He prefers my thumb.”

“Oh, he's one of those boys.”

“What boys?” Now I raised my eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

“Well, binkies are relaxing and calming, right? But some Littles also need a physical connection to achieve the highest soothing effect. So, they prefer to suckle on their Daddy. His thumb, nipples, some even pr
efer Daddy’s cock.”

Interestingly, my thoughts wandered as I put groceries away. He was onto something there. Sam was always very affectionate and clingy when he regressed. Plus, Sam could not stand to be away from me while he was in his Little space. What Des pointed out made absolute sense. He needed that extra connection with me. Things weren’t sexual between us during playtime, so my cock was not an option. But nipples could be. He could play octopus again and suckle at the same time, and that would give him the ultimate connection with me.

“Wow. I swear I just saw a lightbulb pop up over your head, and I know heard the gears turning.”

“Ha, Ha. You got me thinking, and I think you´re right. Sam craves that connection to me. I now know what I can do to help him relax more.”

“You want to pay now, or I can put it on your tab?”

  “Pay for what?”

“Why pay for the expert advice, of course. The going rate for this genius advice is five hundred.”

“Ok, yeah, sure. In that case, put it on my tab, smartass.” Sam’s voice sounded from the playroom as I laughed at Des.

  “Daddy!”

“Coming, Peanut.” Shrugging, I turned towards Sam but wanted to help Des. Des saw my struggle.

“I got this. Maybe, tell Sam that I have a new friend for him. Maybe that will lure him out, and I can say hello.”

  “Great idea. I'll try it.”

In the playroom, the box with the animals was empty, and the zoo took up his whole street rug. But I figured that that was not the reason Sam sat on the daybed, hugging Bob to his chest. “Hey, Peanut. What's wrong?”

“Nothing.” Sam looked up and swallowed a couple of times. “I… can I… Des really won't mind me being Little?”

“No, Peanut.” Thinking about what Des had said about connections, I crouched in front of him and laid my hands on his legs and started to rub gently. “Just remember what he did at the Rainbow Room. He brought you a sippy cup with juice, ice cream with lots of sprinkles, and he told you that you should call him Uncle Des. He already asked me where you were. He would like to see you.”

“I… I'd like to see him too.”
