Double Wood_An MFM Billionaire Romance Page 13

by Samantha West

I imagine myself sinking down against the wall outside their office.

But I keep walking, and I know exactly where I’m going.

  Mark

Elliot and I have been standing in front of Scarlett’s apartment for the past twenty minutes, and it is becoming increasingly clear she is not coming back.

“Try texting her again,” Elliot says, “or calling her.”

“I don’t know what the point is,” I say, “she isn’t picking up. And I’m not just sitting around here anymore.”

“You want to go to The Gutter, see if she’s there?” Elliot asks.

“That’s exactly where I’m going,” I say, “but you are staying here. I don’t want us to miss her. You stay here and wait in case she comes back. I’ll call you when I get to the alley.”

I march across the sidewalk and get into the back seat of the car where our driver is waiting. I don’t know what the hell happened. Maybe she thought we left too fast when we woke up. I wouldn’t blame her for that. I agree with her. We should have explained where the hell we were going. Left a note, something.

“Where are we going, boss?” my driver asks, catching my eye in the rearview mirror.

“The Gutter,” I say, “and get me there fast.”

I try Scarlett a few more times as we speed down Main Street, but she is not answering. For a girl who is so old-fashioned in some ways, it’s not like her to not answer her phone. She is conscientious and doesn’t like people to worry about her.

But right now, I am worried about her. Elliot has an excellent plan to present to her, but we have to find her first.

We pull into the parking lot. It’s late morning, and people are beginning to show up for a day of good, clean fun. Her shitty car is still parked on the perimeter of the lot near the back of the property.

We drive up to the front and I get out of the car. A group of little boys with a bunch of blue and white balloons squeezes through the front door with their moms. A little girl in a pink princess costume walks in with a bunch of pink balloons. A dozen other kids are holding wrapped gifts in every color of the rainbow, in every pattern, and I laugh at the adorable cacophony of all of it.

Once inside, the place is more crowded than I’ve seen it before. It looks good. It’s vibrant. My eyes scan over the place, up and down the lanes, and I crane my head around the group of kids with the balloons to check the bar to see if she’s there. There’s no one in the bar area, so I walk past the kids, over to where a few long tables are set up next to the snack bar.

And finally I see Scarlett. She’s busy cutting a pizza pie into narrow slices and putting them onto small paper plates, assisted by Carlo. And when she turns her head toward me, it’s like she looks right through me. I don’t know if she can see me, but she looks upset, as though she’s been crying.

“Scarlett!” I call as I walk over. She glances up at me and turns away quickly, grabbing an empty pizza box with two hands and beginning to fold it into smaller and smaller squares.

“Hey Mark,” she says, “what’s up?”

She barely looks at me. I feel my heart clench up as she turns and walks toward the snack bar.

“Scarlett, what’s going on? You don’t work on Sundays.”

“I thought I should come in today,” she replies, tossing the pizza box into a big garbage can. The snack bar area is bright and has shiny white tiles on the three walls that encompass it, and the hard lighting from above illuminate her eyes. She looks hurt, and fragile, and her bright blue eyes are ringed with slick redness. “I’m actually really busy right now. Birthday party.”

She starts past me but I gently take her by the wrist.

  “Scarlett, what is the matter?”

She turns her head and looks up at me, her eyes meeting mine. Shaking her head softly, she pulls her hand away.

“It’s nothing,” she says, “it’s really nothing.”

I am fucking confused, and seeing her like this is making my heart clench.

“I’m so sorry if we left too quickly, Scar,” I say after her as she begins to turn. “Is that what’s wrong?”

She chuckles as she walks away from me. I see Carlo over at the kids’ table, filling plastic cups with soda. He flashes a quick, cold glance at me before looking away again.

“Is there something funny?” I ask, grabbing her hand again. “What is funny?”

“Where did you go this morning?” she asks, her expression blank. I try to read her. I try to reason out what the hell is going on in her head. But she is cold, like ice, and she pulls away from me yet again.

“We had to take a meeting,” I explain, “and I’m really sorry. I understand it must have sucked to wake up and not have us there. We should have told you where we were going. It will not happen again. Scout’s honor.”

“You think this is because you weren’t there when I woke up?” she says, her eyebrows knitting together in the center. “I didn’t care about that. I even got breakfast for us and went to your office to surprise you. I didn’t wake up annoyed at you.”

“Then what is it?” I say, taking her face in my hands. I run my thumbs along her cheeks, moving my hands down the smooth, graceful column of her neck. “Just tell me what’s wrong and I will fix it.”

“There’s nothing wrong,” she says, “there’s nothing you can fix.”

She leans into my hands and closes her eyes, exhaling deeply. If I can’t fix what is bothering her, I don’t know what I’ll do.

“I don’t believe you,” I say, “something is clearly very wrong. And whatever it is, I promise I can fix it. Scarlett, just let me know what the hell is going on.”

She looks up at me again and takes a soft step backwards. I see a glimmer of hope inside her eyes, a calmness wash over her, and she suddenly goes cold again. It’s something deep inside her expression, something unnamed, but it’s there. It’s unmistakable, and I feel that I’ve lost her.

  That we have lost her.

My eyes are pulled away from her by movement just behind her, and I see Elliot walking over to us quickly.

“She saw the contract,” he says, coming up to us quickly but with caution in his steps. “She saw the revised contract.”

  “Shit.”

I take my hands off her her and shake my head.

“Scarlett, that’s where we were this morning,” I say. “That’s where we had to go. Our attorney drove all the way out here on a Sunday morning to tell us that they weren’t happy with the terms of the contract we presented to them.”

Scarlett looks between me and Elliot, shaking her head.

“So you all decided to change it? To cut me out entirely? And the staff?”

“No,” Elliot says, stepping between us, facing her. “No. Not at all. Those changes were made without our consent or knowledge. We were never going to sign that contract. You were never supposed to see it.”

“I don’t understand,” she says. “What is the problem with the original contract?”

“They think we included you because of our feelings for you,” I say, “but that could not be farther from the truth.”

“I’m sorry,” she says, “I still don’t get it. Why would your feelings have anything to do with me helping you with the business?”

“Our attorneys think we are biased. Because we added you to the contract,” I say. “Someone must have seen us out at the restaurant when we brought you to the City.”

“This is just crazy,” she says, pushing past us gently. She makes her way through the snack bar and into the small galley kitchen hidden behind the counter.

“It’s not true, if that’s what you’re thinking right now. We would have hired you no matter what,” Mark says.

“So what now?” she says, turning to us quickly, her eyes snapping back and forth between us. “You rewrite the contract?”

“No,” I say, taking her shoulders. She looks so beautiful and vulnerable in this moment, as though she is on the edge of something. She is unsure, and
she is being careful, but there is still that glimmer of hope inside her eye. That spark that I never want to see go out. And I feel overcome with a strong emotion I have never felt before. It’s the knowledge that she is vulnerable and afraid, and that Elliot and I are able to erase all of that in an instant. And it’s a feeling of reverence for her, and honor, and gratitude that we can give her everything she wants and needs.

  It’s love.

“The contract has already been rewritten,” Elliot says. “There is only one major change that we need you to approve.”

He pulls a black folder out from under his arm and presents it to her. She bites her bottom lip and opens it slowly, and her eyes move down it slowly as she scans the first line, and then the next, and then her eyes flash back up to ours.

“Now I really don’t understand,” she says softly.

  Elliot

She takes the folder and scans the first page.

“We have adjusted the contract to restructure the terms of the deal,” I say, “and it’s very important that you understand the agreement you are entering.”

“If you so choose,” Mark adds, smiling and glancing at me.

Scarlett looks back down at the document and closes her eyes. She shakes her head softly and her hair falls in waves at her shoulders. When she opens her eyes, the beginning of tears blot out the bright, deep blue.

“An equal partnership with Mark-Elliot?” she says softly.

“Not exactly,” I say, pointing to the first line of the contract. “You would no longer be entering an agreement with Mark-Elliot. You would be entering an agreement with both of us individually, Mark Connor and Elliot Hammond, in an even one-third split among the three of us.”

“We decided instead of convincing the investors at Mark-Elliot that giving you control of a third of the business, we would simply cut them out of it entirely,” Mark says, “ and present to you a three-way split. This is how it should have been all along.”

Scarlett scans the contract again, flipping a few pages.

“What are you looking for?” I ask, peering over the top of the contract.

“Honestly, nothing. I’m not looking for anything. I am literally just flipping the pages at random because I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what else to do with myself,” she says.

There is a stunned silence covering the three of us.

“This would be the part where you say yes,” Mark says to her, taking the folder and tossing it on a counter.

“But what about the damage to your reputations? What about your firm,” she asks, her eyes dancing between us.

“It’s fine,” I say, “because after we show them what a good team the three of us make, they will fall for you just like we have. We have plenty of other deals pending, and even if they all fall through, we would give them up for a shot at this.”

“But they won’t fall through,” Mark adds, “because like Eliot said, all we have to do here is what we do best. Turn this place around and make it shine like new.”

My heart is ready to explode out of my chest as Scarlett smiles and looks down at the contract.

“Don’t you want me to read the rest of the agreement so I know what I’m getting into?” she asks.

“There’s time for that later,” I say, taking a step toward her, putting my fingers under her chin. I drag my thumb across her bottom lip and she opens up slowly for me, and I feel my cock steel when I see her tongue come out and trace a small loop around my finger.

“Shit,” Mark says, putting his hands around her waist and pulling her toward him. His hips grind against her as she looks up at me, and I pull my thumb away from her slowly. I watch as Mark spins her around and lifts her up easily, putting her down on the counter.

“Here?” she says as Mark pushes her knees apart.

“No, you’re right,” I say, “we should go to your office.”

I step toward her as Mark keeps her knees apart and kiss her roughly, pulling her toward me with my hands on her plump, round ass.

“The hallway to the left leads to my office,” she says, her chin tipped down.

“Then what the hell are we waiting for?”

  Scarlett

We crash through the door of my office and Mark locks the door behind us, unzipping his hoodie quickly and throwing it to the floor. He pulls the bottom of his shirt over his perfect abs, and his muscles move and flex as he throws his shirt on the floor.

Elliot crushes his lips against mine and I shudder as he pulls my bottom lip between his teeth.

“Flip her over,” Mark says, and Elliot does as he says, spinning me around by my hips and pushing a plastic file tray stacked with papers to the floor. He grabs my hands and plants them firmly on the desk, and I laugh because it’s like something out of a movie. Clothes being peeled off in an office and papers crashing to the floor?

This isn’t really my life, is it?

But yeah, it is. And Mark and Elliot will keep it fun and dirty.

And filled with care and love.

My heart swells as I turn my head to look at both of them. They are both standing behind me, shirts off, their perfect flesh boasting inside the four walls of my tiny office.

“See something you like?” Mark says, glancing up at my eyes.

“Yes,” I reply, wiggling my ass, “see something you like?”

“Let me fucking show you how much I like that,” Mark replies.

I gasp as he grabs my hips from behind, pushing his fingers down the front of my jeans. I feel him teasing the edge of my panties and I become very wet, heat pulsing through my clit with his fingers so close to it.

He pulls his hand up and teases my belly as he slowly unbuttons and unzips my jeans, pulling them down slowly. He peels them off of me and leaves my black lace thong on me. I can feel it is completely soaked through, and my thighs, clenched together, are becoming wet too.

“Perfect,” Elliot says, coming around the desk.

He cups my chin and pushes his thumb into my mouth, and this move makes me crazy as I imagine the tip of his cock inside my wet mouth. Behind me, my pussy aching and on fire, Mark kneels down spreads my knees apart. His thumb finds my clit through my wet panties and I shudder and moan.

“Feels good, right baby?” he says, grinding his thumb against my clit.

“Yes,” I moan, Elliot’s finger still just past my lips, “yes.”

I feel myself tense up, and he keep pressing his thumb against my clit, rocking against it steady and slow. My pussy tenses with the feeling sparking through me, and my breathing becomes jagged and shallow.

“Cum for us baby, cum,” he groans, kissing the backs of my thighs.

My pussy contracts hard as he keeps his thumb right in place, and I feel my body jerk. Elliot pushes his thumb deeper into my mouth and I suck on it as I look up at him, desperate to be filled by both of them.

Mark pulls my panties to the side as he stands up, and I hear the metallic zip of his jeans and the crinkling of a condom wrapper.

He pauses for a moment and then I feel his thick cock slice right through me in one quick, hard motion, filling me up all the way, stuffed in as far as he can go.

In front of me, Elliot takes his cock out and drags the tip across my lips, painting me with pearls of sticky, salty precum.

He pulls away and I lick my lips greedily as Mark rocks against me from behind, slamming into me over and over, his hands kneading my ass roughly.

Eliot pushes forward and puts one hand on the desk, leveraging himself against the surface and slips his cock into my mouth. He pushes all the way in and my eyes widen as I feel the tip of his cock hit the back of my throat.

It is deliciously sexy to be taken so completely by both of them at once.

I don’t want this feeling to ever stop.

Mark keeps slamming into me over and over, his rough hands moving over my ass and hips like he can’t get enough.

He slowly begins to reduce his speed, and I see Elliot’s eyes flicke
r behind me as he pulls his cock away from my lips.

“Hey,” I pant, “where are you going?”

“Nowhere baby,” he says, “we are both right here.”

I feel Mark’s heavy cock slide out of me slowly, and my pussy clenches us in its absence.

Turning my head to see what the guys are doing, I see Elliot lining his cock up with my opening, and my eyes roll back and I moan, biting my bottom lip as he pushes into me. His cock is not quite as long but it is thicker, and I feel every single ridge dragging against my walls as he fucks me slowly from behind. My pussy is spread so far open, and I have never felt anything like this before. It is intoxicating and every part of my body is on fire.

“Fuck,” I moan, a slight laugh in my voice, “fuck.”

“You know your innocent little moans are like music to my ears,” Elliot says, pushing in and out of me excruciatingly slow.

He pulls out of me again and my head whips around to see them. And again, Mark lines up with my aching sex and pushes into me with more force than Elliot used, slamming into me.

Feeling both of them in succession like this is so different from anything I’d ever imagined. Being shared is so incredibly hot, and I feel like a damn goddess having the two men I want sharing me.

I watch as Elliot’s fingers make their way up my round ass, and he pulls my black thong away, tearing it and tossing it to the floor. He leans forward toward and he pushes two fingers into my mouth, and I suck hard on them, watching him as he looks at my eyes and then down at my ass.

He pulls his fingers away from my mouth as I whimper, and then he pushes his fingers against my ass, teasing the puckered hole softly as Mark continues fucking me.

“Jesus,” Mark groans, closing his eyes as he rides me, his head tilting backwards.

My chest falls against the desk as I feel my ass behind to spread around Elliot’s fingers, and at first the sting of the penetration feels foreign. This is only the second time I have ever done anything like this. But then he looks down at me and nods, and I relax, and as his fingers go deeper inside me, my pussy feels tighter and fuller as Mark slams in and out of me.
