“Right.” I nodded.
“Long story short, his homeboy hooked it up for me.”
“What did you have to do for the homeboy?”
“Girl, he just wanted to fuck with Nona, and you know Nona be down, so we both went over there to chill. At first, Sage was acting like he ain’t really want to fuck with me, but once them bottles started popping, he couldn’t deny me. I was all over that nigga; I mean, I had him screaming, with his toe curling, mouth drooling and all.” She popped her lips.
“Damn. Where did y’all chill out?”
“His homeboy got a room. I been texting him on and off though; we might hook up again this weekend, and this time, I’m getting the dick.”
“Well, the best way to keep a man that don’t want to be kept is by having his baby. You know these niggas can’t leave they baby mamas alone no matter how hard they try.” I lectured her.
“Speaking of baby mama, guess what?”
“What?” I asked, looking at her waiting for her to drop the bomb on me.
“I don’t know how you gon’ take this, but when I was at the mall with Jerecho, he brought this bitch named Neki or some shit with us. She kept carrying on and on about how she was nauseous and shit and how she couldn’t wait for her pregnancy to be over. Girl, come to find out, this bitch pregnant for Jerecho.” She said, causing my heart to drop.
“What the fuck did you say?” I asked not understanding the words that had just come from her mouth.
“Yes, girl. She is pregnant with my brother. You about to have another bitch added to y’all baby mama club.” She laughed.
“This nigga ain’t shit, I swear.” I huffed.
“Girl, she lives over there in Oakland Park if you want to see about her. I remembered where we dropped her off at. I just don’t remember the apartment number.” She said.
“Yeah, I’mma go see about this bitch.” I replied, biting the inside of my jaw. I was already sharing Jerecho with Tyreema. There was no way in hell I was going to let another bitch and her bastard ass baby take the little time me and my baby was able to get.
Chapter 18
Naria
Putting my pride aside, I decided to go talk to Sage. The time I’d spent apart for him had me realizing how much I was really feeling his ass. In actuality, Sage was the only dude I’d been with that actually took me and my dreams seriously. Even Detric had some doubts about my business plan, but Sage, he was all for it and was even willing to help.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to say, but I knew I had to say something that would get us back on good terms. I was sick and tired of mopping around eating my pain away. Nothing felt the same anymore since we had stopped talking. It was as if my sunshine was gone, and I was now being followed around by a dark cloud.
When I made it to his house, I was greeted by loud music. I started banging on the door, but the loudness of the music made it hard for my knocks to be heard. Walking towards the back gate, I noticed it was open, so I went through it and was greeted by some thots sitting by the pool sipping wine coolers.
My blood began to boil as I watched Sage lean against the door with a chick standing between his legs, whispering sweet nothings in his ears. I knew we were no longer rocking with each other, but that didn’t stop me from fuming at the sight in front of me. Marching over to them, I snatched my shades off my face prepared to snatch this bitch from off my man.
“Excuse me?” The girl snapped as I pushed her to the side and got in Sage’s face.
“You’re excused.” I replied, never taking my eyes off Sage, who was now looking down at me licking his lips.
“Sage, what the fuck?” The girl asked looking for validation.
“You was talking too much anyways.” He shrugged. “Go sit by the pool with your girls and let me see what lil’ mama gotta say.” He smirked.
“Ain’t this about a bitch.” The groupie said before stomping off to her girls.
“What you doing here?” Sage asked, taking a sip of his Corona.
“I came to talk to you.” I replied. “But it look like you running a hoe house up in this bitch.”
“I’m a single man; I ain’t tied down.” He replied.
“Why you gotta make shit so difficult?” I asked.
“How am I making things difficult when you’re the one who came to my house pushing bitches and shit.”
“Sage, I’m trying to talk to you on a serious tip.” I stressed.
“Then talk.”
“You need to kick all these bitches out.” I said.
“Nah, you ain’t my girl so you don’t have no say so.”
“What if I’m tryna change that.” I replied with a beating heart.
“Change what?” He asked, with a look of satisfaction on his face.
“Dammit! I’m sorry, ok.”
“Sorry for what?”
“Sorry for tryna play you; I should’ve taken you seriously.”
“Umm-hmmm.” He replied, finishing off his beer.
“Ladies, the party is over.” He said, grabbing the remote and turning the stereo off.
“What about the pizza we ordered?” One of the groupies asked.
“I paid for that pizza so me and my girl about to sit down and fuck that shit up.” He replied causing me to smirk.
“Bye-Bye.” I waved, causing the girls to glare at me with anger in their eyes.
Mumbling amongst each other, they grabbed their things and stormed off. Sage made sure those girls were off of his property before locking the gate. Walking past me, he went inside the house and left the door open for me to follow behind him.
When I made it inside, he was sitting on his couch getting ready to fire up a blunt. He took a few tokes of the weed before offering it to me. Taking the joint between my lips, I savored the taste of the smoke filling my lungs before blowing it out.
“I ain’t for the games, Ma. If you gon’ fuck with me, then you gotta fuck with me all the way. I ain’t with that ‘I’m not ready shit’ nor am I trying to share you with another nigga.” He said in between puffs.
“You ain’t gotta share me.” I honestly replied.
“Iight, nah fuck around and let me see one of them niggas calling your phone, then we done with. I’m old enough to know how to respect my relationship, so I expect the same.”
“I hear ya.” I replied.
“Good, now come suck this dick.” He smirked, pulling down his joggers.
Taking a few pulls of the blunt, I passed him the joint before dropping down to my knees to service my man. The more I thought about Sage being my man, the deeper I sucked his dick. I was finally giving this relationship thing another try. I just prayed my decision didn’t come back to bite me in the ass in the end.
Chapter 19
Jerecho
“Jerecho, can you get your damn phone!” Tyreema snapped, causing me to jump out of my sleep.
Grabbing my phone off the nightstand, I looked at who was calling me then declined the call. I wasn’t sure why Neki was calling me at seven in the morning, but whatever it was just had to wait. I laid back in bed throwing my arms around Tyreema and pulling her close to me. Burying my nose in her neck, I inhaled her sweet scent, preparing to go back to sleep until my phone started to ring again.
“Oh my, God, turn the damn phone off! I’m tryna sleep before I go to work!” Tyreema yelled, once my phone starting ringing again.
Grabbing my phone off the nightstand again, I texted Neki to see what was up before putting my phone on silent.
“Answer your hoes.” Ty snapped, pushing her body away from mine.
“That wasn’t no hoe man.” I lied.
“Then why didn’t you answer the phone?”
“That’s Nigel; I ain’t tryna be on what he on right now. I’ll holla at him later.” I replied, laying my body on top of hers.
Tyreema and I had been fighting a lot lately, and I was starting to miss her pussy. She
moved her head to the side when I tried to kiss her, causing me to kiss her on the neck. Wrapping my lips around her flesh, I sucked nice and hard on her neck, while I entered her.
“MMM.” I moaned, feeling the warmth of her pussy.
It had been a minute since I’d been home, and that shit felt good. Tyreema’s moans started to drive me crazy, as I picked up the pace and started fucking her. Pulling all the way out, I rammed back in her causing her to cry out in pleasure.
* * *
“Don’t be late picking me up, Jerecho.” Tyreema said, reaching in the back to kiss Tyreek on the lips. “Be good for granny, ok.” Tyreema spoke in a soft voice to our son.
“Ok, Mommy. Love you.” He beamed.
“Love you, baby. See you later.” She replied.
“I can’t get no sugar?” I asked, causing her to blush.
She walked over to the driver’s seat and fed me her tongue for a good five minutes before pulling away.
“That’s what the fuck I’m talking about.” I smiled.
“Boy stop, before I’m late.”
“Yeah ok; I can still see them hickeys; all that makeup ain’t do shit to cover them passion marks up.” I laughed before driving off.
Lately, I’d been feeling a disconnect from Tyreema. I didn’t know if it was because I was too busy trying to keep my other two baby mamas quiet to spend time at home with her, but I did think that part of the reason we’d been falling off was because she was still salty about me being against her career in graphic designing.
It wasn’t that I didn’t want Tyreema to succeed, but I was afraid of her success. I really didn’t want her to get to the point of independence where she didn’t need me anymore. She was already making good money from her 9-5, so I just knew she was going to be banking once she started her own business. Tyreema was very talented, and the cover she designed had me realizing how good she was at what she did.
After dropping Tyreek off to my mother’s house, I headed to the hospital where Neki was. She’d text me earlier that she’d gotten into a car accident and was in the hospital. I asked her was the baby was ok, and her only response was for me to come to the hospital to find out for myself.
“Room 3826.” I said to the front desk lady as I handed her my ID.
“Here you go.” She said, handing me the bright yellow visitors badge. “Go straight down to the elevators; it’s going to be on the third floor.” She instructed.
“Thank you.” I replied, before heading towards the elevators.
I rode the elevators to the third floor with mixed feelings. A part of me didn’t want to be in the position of having a baby with Neki, but the other part of me didn’t want to lose another kid. I was fucked up behind the loss I suffered with Tyreema, so I didn’t think I could go through that again. Regardless of the situation in which I conceived my children, I was still going to love them no matter what.
“What’s good?” I asked, as I walked in Neki’s hospital room.
“Hey.” She softly replied.
I tried to read her facial expression to see if she miscarried or not, but I couldn’t.
“How’s the baby?” I asked, placing my hand on her stomach.
“The baby is fine. I was pretty shaken up, but my lil’ angel is a strong baby.” She smiled.
“That’s what’s up.” I replied feeling somewhat relieved. “What happened?”
“I was pulling out of my parking lot, and this car just rammed into me causing me to drive into a ditch.
“Did they at least catch the person that did it?”
“Nah, it was a hit and run.”
“A hit and run?” I asked, chewing the inside of my lip.
“Yes, they just hit me, stopped, then sped off. I guess they probably ain’t have insurance or something, I don’t know. I’m just glad me and the baby are both ok.” She smiled.
“Me too.” I replied.
“Now I gotta fight my insurance to fix my car. I been on the phone with them all morning, and they acting like they don’t want to do nothing about it.” She sighed.
“Just chill; stop stressing my baby with all that small shit.”
“What do you mean small shit? How am I going to get from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’?” She asked.
“I gotchu, don’t worry.” I said, surprising the hell out of myself.
Usually, I didn’t do shit for bitches except Tyreema, but her almost losing my baby had me looking at things differently. Although I would never up and buy Jordynn a car, I didn’t mind helping Neki out. Like Tyreema, Neki was responsible; she held a job and made her own money. Jordynn was a young bitch who would rather sell her pussy than to pick up a regular job. She was making some type of efforts by finally registering in school, but I could see she still had a lot of growing up to do.
I kicked it with Neki for three hours, bought her some food, and made sure she was straight before leaving. I promised I would come back tomorrow when she got discharged to take her home. The whole time I was at the hospital with Neki, Jordynn was blowing me up. This fucking love triangle I had going on was starting to fuck with me mentally. At first, it was all fun and games fucking all these different bitches until I slipped and got two of them pregnant. It was no problem for me to cut off my other hoes, but I was stuck with both Jordynn and Neki.
“What?” I answered, once I saw that Jordynn was calling me again.
“Come see me.” She purred.
“I gotta stop by my mama’s house and pick up Tyreek.” I replied.
“Let me meet you there then; I’m already on my way over there.”
“Nah, stay yo ass where you at until I leave. I don’t need Tyreek to see your ass all over me.”
“You act like Tyreek don’t know who I am. I am around that boy majority of the time.” She replied.
“Nah, he at that age where he runs his mouth, and I ain’t tryna go there. If you gon’ kick it with my sister, wait until I leave!” I yelled.
“Man, whatever.” She replied sucking her teeth.
“I’m starting to get sick of your ass, man, for real!” I snapped, before hanging up the phone.
When I made it to my mother’s house, Jerry was riding his Ford Expedition truck while my mother sat down watching him. I really was hoping my mama wasn’t on that shit today, because I wasn’t tryna deal with her and her bipolar ways. Getting out of my car, I walked over to them and took a seat next to my moms.
“What’s good, Ma?” I asked, waving at Tyreek, who was too busy joy riding to acknowledge me.
“I guess y’all just making me a grandmother and shit.” She sucked her teeth.
“What you mean?” I asked, looking at her sideways.
“First you, with your three kids. Oh, don’t think I don’t know about the other chick you got a Tyreema. Boy, I tell you the day this girl wise up and leave ya ass, I’mma personally give her a high-five.”
“Damn, Ma. Why you always on this crazy shit. Mind ya business. Who told you anyways, Lia?” I asked since she was the only one that knew about Neki.
“She sholl did, but she ain’t in no position to be telling nobody business.” My mama snapped.
“What that’s supposed to mean?” I asked.
“That lil’ heffa done slipped and got herself knocked up.” My mama replied, causing my heart to drop.
“Fuck you say?” I asked, not meaning to disrespect my mother.
“Your seventeen-year-old sister is giving me my fourth fucking grandbaby.” She shook her head.
“Nah, man. Where she at?”
I was ready to fuck some shit up at this point. Lia knew better than that shit. She knew better than to slip and let these lil’ niggas out here blow her up and shit. I talked to her every day about the importance of protecting herself, and she still go against everything I said and get pregnant.
“She in the house.” My mama replied.
Storming towards the house, I burst into her roo
m and grabbed her by the shirt collar.
“So you think it’s cute getting pregnant and shit?” I asked with fire in my eyes.
“Jerecho, put me down!” She yelled.
“Who that fuck nigga is that got you pregnant!” I growled shaking her.
“Jerecho, you’re hurting me man!” She cried.
“Nah, don’t cry now. You wasn’t crying when you was out there letting niggas fuck you without protection and shit! I taught you better than that man! Why the fuck would you slip up and do something so stupid?”
“The same reason you would.” She replied, causing me to slap her ass.
“You ain’t my fucking daddy; don’t be putting your hands on me!” She screamed.
“I might as well have been your daddy. I take care of your ass like you’re my damn child. Every fucking thing you got, I bought. Whatever you need, I get! So don’t piss me the fuck off before I break my foot in ya ass!”
“Jerecho, can you let me up, please?”
“Why Lia man? Why? You supposed to finish school, be the one to get a college degree and make something of yourself. Why do you choose to wanna be a mother?” I asked.
“I’m sorry, Jerecho; it just happened.” She sobbed.
“Lia, man. Who the fuck is this nigga?” I asked.
“I don’t know. I mean, we were at a house party, and I slept with him.” She softly replied.
“So you mean to tell me that you just got pregnant by an unknown nigga? You tryna tell me that my baby sister is a hoe?” I asked in disbelief.
“I’m not a hoe! It was just this one time.” She argued.
“I can’t deal with this shit, man. I’m making an appointment, and you getting rid of this baby.” I snapped.
“No, I’m not!” She yelled.
“Why the fuck would you, somebody that doesn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, want to have a damn baby? You don’t even know who the fuck your baby daddy is, so how the fuck are you going to be a mother to this child? How are you going to take care of this baby? You tryna be a seventeen-year-old teen parent now? What? You got some contract to be on Teen Mom that you ain’t telling nobody about?” I rambled, feeling my blood pressure rising.
“Jerecho, I know what I’m doing, and I’ll be able to take care of my baby. You worry about your three kids and three baby mamas, and I’ll worry about my one child.” She snapped.
