  Both of them laughed and Roman leaned forward to kiss her nose. “I had intended this to be a much more romantic and coordinated proposal.”

  “It was perfect,” she said. “Yes.”

  “Yes, to the marriage?” he asked.

  “Yes, to anything you want,” she said with a wicked grin.

  “In that case,” he said and rolled onto his back, pulling her on top of him, “I have a few other things I’d like to ask for.”

  Lydia laughed, feeling more complete than she had in her entire life.
