Smoke and Mirrors: A Demented Sons MC Texas Novel Page 20

by Kristine Allen

Grayson wrapped my hair tighter around his fist, arching me back at a nearly impossible curve. Though I wouldn’t have thought it was possible, he fucked me harder than he had before.

“Aw, fuck,” Straight groaned as he squeezed his shaft tightly and stroked harder. Though my vision shook with each thrust, I didn’t miss the clear bead of liquid at the tip. He was leaning against the door, and his head dropped to the wood as his hooded eyes locked on mine.

“Do you want to taste him?” Grayson had leaned forward and whispered in my ear.

Unsure I’d heard him properly, I turned my head as best I could to look over my shoulder to where he waited for my answer.

“What?” I gasped. He stilled within me.

“I’m not a sharing man, and after today, this won’t happen again. But if you want to taste him while I fuck your pussy, I want to watch. Call it a fantasy to see your lips wrapped around another cock as I fuck you. The only thing that would make it better is if I was fucking your ass.” His filthy words had an incredibly damning effect on my conscience. I’d never been that woman, but stuck in the surreal aftershocks of the day, I wanted it. Insanely hot and dirty, I wanted it.

  “Yes,” I whispered.

He sucked in a rasping breath, then groaned. Straight did the same, and I returned my attention to him.

“Do it,” Grayson instructed him. He looked to Grayson for final confirmation. “I said do it!”

  Sweet fucking Jesus.

Straight stepped up until his legs touched the other side of the desk. His thick cock jutted into my face, and I opened my mouth. My tongue reached out to curl on the underside of his darker head and flicked the metal I found.

“Oh my God,” he groaned. Hesitantly, he brought his hand up to cradle my jaw. He left it there as Grayson resumed behind me. The first stroke catapulted me forward so far, I deep-throated Straight’s cock. He grunted when I gagged slightly, then recovered.

“Breathe through your nose and relax your throat,” he said softly, then gave a shuddering exhale.

Every time Grayson shoved into me, it pushed me forward and rammed Straight’s cock down my throat. I did my best to remember to relax. Each time his head slid over my tongue, the metal tickled, and I wiggled it back and forth. Though I shouldn’t be, I was so incredibly turned on. To top off the sensation overload, Grayson slid his thumb through my wetness and rimmed my puckered hole. With his next thrust, he pushed it past the opening, and my eyes rolled back in my head.

After that, it didn’t take long before Straight was shooting down my throat. My pussy pulsed around Grayson as I sucked on Straight. He came so much, I couldn’t swallow it all and it was running down my chin. He staggered backward a step, causing his softening shaft to fall from my mouth.

An inked but shaking hand ran through his dark hair. His cock was still hanging there, and he tucked it away.

“You can go. And Straight?” Grayson paused.

“Yeah, Smoke?” His voice was hoarse.

“You tell no one. Because now she’s mine. Am I clear?”

“Fuck, yeah. Crystal clear.” He took a deep breath, licked his top lip, and raised his chin to Grayson. He quietly exited the room as my head spun over what had happened.

“I meant what I said, that can’t happen again. Because now you’re mine, and I don’t share. You understand me?”

I nodded slightly as he grabbed my hair again and licked my neck up to my jaw, where he nipped along the bone. Chills skated over my skin, and I tightened around him again.

“That’s it, squeeze me,” he whispered.

He pulled out, turned me over, and slid back inside. That time, there was no burn, only the best of everything. He pressed on my chest until I was lying back on the desk. His thumb swept under my lip, then pushed into my mouth. I licked the salty come from his skin, and his eyes darkened with lust.

After a few deep thrusts, he pulled out and I whined at the loss. “Patience,” he whispered.

Maneuvering me as easily as if I was a rag doll, he lifted my legs so both were over the same shoulder. One strong hand held them in place. Leaning closer, he bent me until my thighs were against my breasts. Slowly, he licked my lips until I rose up enough to capture his mouth.

As we kissed like it was our last day on earth, he filled me, then moved reverently within me. While we may have been fucking earlier, something had changed. He broke free from the kiss to lay his face on my neck. Kiss after kiss peppered my skin as he continued to worship my body.

The slick slide of his shaft against my walls had another orgasm building. Desperate to hang on, I grasped him. My fingers dug into his skin. My hips met his.

Closer and closer we drew to the edge of the abyss. I knew once we fell over, there was no going back. Intense anticipation grew, the pressure of it expanding inside me until I exploded. Reality ceased to exist as I shattered, blown apart by the massive overload of sheer bliss.

Neither of us spoke. Ragged breathing was the only sound in the room.

Finally, he pushed off me, but stayed buried deep. Lips wet and parted, he stared at me with heavy lids. “Nova.” He turned his head to the side and kissed my knee. “My beautiful Supernova.”

I bit my bottom lip, and a small smile escaped at the use of my childhood nickname he’d given me.

One last kiss, and he stared into my eyes. “It might be absolute insanity, but I meant it. You. Are. Mine. I love you, Nova. So fucking much.”

My heart broke open, and all the love for him that I’d buried deep flooded out. “Oh my God.”

The corner of his lips rose. “Is that all you’re going to say?” he asked.

“I’ve loved you forever, Grayson. I swear to God, I’ve loved you forever,” I rushed out on a sigh.

He grinned and then playfully bit my neck. It still sent a shiver through me, and I wished for more time do it again.

Then he stood up, shook his head remorsefully, and withdrew. I whimpered in disappointment at the loss. He chuckled, then helped me stand up.

Light-headed, I clung to him until I had my bearings back. That’s when I felt the familiar warm trickle run down the inside of my thigh. Eyes widening, I gasped.

“Grayson! You forgot to use a condom!” I choked out as I remembered.

“I didn’t forget shit,” he murmured with a smirk.

  “Welcome to Reality”—Pop Evil

After dropping my phone in the basket outside the door, I stepped into the chapel, and everyone looked to me. Straight wouldn’t meet my eyes at first. It’s not like that was the first time we’d ever done something like that, but I knew he was aware of my feelings for Nova. Understandably, he was worried that we’d fucked up.

“Straight? You okay?” Everyone had resumed their conversations when I didn’t immediately call the start of church. So I brought him off to the side and asked him quietly as I studied his face for a sign that he wasn’t being honest.

“Uh, I’m great, but I’m afraid you’re going to kick my ass. That was different than before, and I think you know that. That’s your woman, bro.” He looked like he was keeping his true feelings tightly under wrap.

“She wasn’t officially before that.” I shrugged.

  “Technicalities,” he argued.

“Do you have plans to do it again?” I asked with a raised brow.

“Fuck, no!” He snorted and looked at me like I’d lost my mind.

“Then there’s no problem. Thanks for that, by the way. Though I’ll never do that again with her, that was hot as fuck.” My jeans grew uncomfortable thinking about how fucking beautiful Nova had looked as she trusted me enough to do what we’d done.

I’d left her in my room to get cleaned up, and it had taken an extreme amount of willpower not to take her again. It was as if admitting my feelings opened a floodgate of need for her.

“Jesus fuck, bro. Warn a guy next time,” he huffed.

I laughed deep, the experience in the office working miracles to calm me down afte
r the shitshow of a day we’d had. “There won’t be a next time, so we’re all good. Let’s get this shit started.”

We called the meeting to order and discussed everything we knew, which wasn’t much. Radar took notes, and we decided to wait for Snow’s call when they stopped for the day to discuss our next move.

“Do we stay here at the clubhouse or do we go home and watch our sixes?” Straight asked.

We all looked contemplative. I hated to make it seem like we were hiding, but I did worry about Mattie and Nova’s safety.

“Raiven and I are going home. The kids are with my parents, so I think we will see if they can stay there for a few days, but I’m not staying here, so if anyone else wants to, feel free to use my room,” Lock offered.

In the end, we decided the security systems installed by Check were just as good as the one at the clubhouse. Other than not having us all in one place and the eight-foot perimeter fence topped with concertina wire, we should be okay.

“I’ll double-check with Nova. If she wants to stay here, then we’ll stay, otherwise, we’ll all head home after Truth and Anthony go pick up Slice and Drew from the hospital,” I announced.

“That’s a lucky motherfucker,” said Truth as he shook his head.

“No shit,” agreed Radar. “Dude gets stabbed through and through with a fucking knife and walks away with a shit ton of internal stitches and a few on front and back? Missed every vital organ and artery in there. What the fuck?”

“Maybe we need to give him the road name of Lucky,” Gunny piped in, and we all laughed.

“I have something I want to discuss with you all,” I said as I ran my nail through a groove in the scarred wood.

“What’s that?” Straight asked. He leaned back in his chair and stretched his legs out.

“What do you guys think of bringing Check’s little brother in? He’s young, and he needs a hell of a lot of guidance, but I think he needs us.” Looking up, I met every single one of my brothers’ eyes. None of them seemed like they disagreed.

“Are you asking for a vote to bring him in as a hang-around?” Truth asked thoughtfully.

“Not yet. I’m going to have him bring Check’s old Sporty down to the shop to work on it. We’ll feel him out and see if he seems interested. Either way, I think he needs us.”

“Hell, yeah,” said Radar. “I have no issues with that.”

  “Me either,” added Lock.

The rest of the brothers concurred.

We ended the meeting and waited for Slice’s call. Lock made a call to his parents, and Gunny approached me. “Hey, P, I’m heading back out to the rig tomorrow morning. Do you need anything from me tonight?”

“No, brother, we’re good. But are you?” Besides throwing us all for a loop when he took the oil rig job, he’d seemed off the last several times he’d been home.

He glanced over to his brother, who had his arm flung around his wife’s shoulders. Then he bit his lip and met my gaze. “Yeah, everything is good, bro. Just wondering if I did the right thing moving down here.” He shrugged and shoved his hands in his pockets. I didn’t believe him, but if he didn’t want to talk, I couldn’t make him.

“Well, if you ever need to talk, know that I’m always here,” I assured him.

“Thanks, Prez, I appreciate it. I’m going to hang out at my folks’ with my niece and nephew tonight. I’ll be leaving straight from there in the morning.”

“Sure. I’m going to have Radar go with you. His place is on the way to your parents’ place.”

  “Naw, P, I’m good.”

“That wasn’t a request,” I said firmly. “Radar! Come here!”

  Radar jogged over. “Yeah, P?”

“I want you to ride with Gunny. He’s going to his parents’ place. No one rides alone until we find out who’s behind all this shit.” I wasn’t backing down on my decision.

“Roger that. Let me grab my bag.” He grabbed it out of one of the booths, said his goodbyes, then returned.

“Let’s go, you sexy Viking.” He shoulder-bumped Gunny, who shook his head with a grin.

Gunny waved to everyone, and they left. Frowning, I stared as his retreating form until he was out the door. I didn’t like his mood, and I had a sneaking suspicion he’d developed feelings for Raiven through his brother’s ordeal.

The last couple of weeks had been suspiciously quiet. There’d been no sign of Nova’s attacker, and Snow still had no news regarding the guy from the surveillance video. I had a sneaking suspicion they were the same guy but something seemed off.

Nova had lunch with me at the little diner, and Lisa had grinned from ear to ear the whole time. She’d headed back to work accompanied by Anthony. During the day, I had him on Nova duty. Thankfully, he was on terminal leave from the military and wasn’t supposed to start his job for another couple of weeks.

Things had been going amazing with me and Nova. She made me feel like I was twenty again. If she wasn’t knocked up yet, I must be sterile. It was funny how the thought of being a dad again didn’t terrify me like it had before.

“What’s that grin for?” Lisa asked as she refilled my sweet tea.

“Nothing. Things have been good lately. Other than missing Check, things have been good.” I sipped my tea.

She grinned and popped her gum. “Well, I’m real glad to hear that, hon.” She took the pitcher back to the kitchen.

Mattie and Nova were bonding so well, it was like they hadn’t ever been apart. It was crazy.

I’d barely finished my sweet tea and was getting ready to leave when the bell on the door rang. I looked up and watched Torque head in my direction with a purpose. My spine stiffened, and I narrowed my eyes as he slid in across from me.

“Torque. What brings you here? Do I look like I want to sit here looking at your ugly mug?”

He grinned. “Hell, yeah. Everyone wants to be able to soak in this glorious shit.”

I rolled my eyes. “What the fuck do you want?”

He leaned forward and propped his elbows on the table. His expression turned serious as he cast a slightly nervous glance around the diner. Once he deemed it was clear, he spoke low. “Look, the only reason I’m here is because rumor has it you claimed Nova as your ol’ lady. That true?”

“Yeah, you heard correct, so keep your fucking hands to yourself.” I leaned forward as well.

“Dude, I’m not here to pick a fight or get into a pissing match with you. There’s another rumor going around, but you didn’t hear it from me. You understand?”

“Depends on what it is,” I hedged.

He gritted his teeth. “I’m only here because of Nova, fucker.”

“What the fuck is she to you?” I asked with distaste.

He glared at me, then sighed. “She’s my attorney. But she used to be my girl.”

His words hit me in the gut. Torque had been in the world for a hot minute. Like since he was in his early twenties. Which meant he was likely a biker when she dated him. Why the fuck hadn’t she told me that? My hackles began to rise. “Okay?”

“There hasn’t been anything between us for years. Chill, big guy. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t care about what happens to her. She’s a good person who’s made some shitty decisions when it comes to men.” He gave me a pointed look that I took exception to and ran a hand through his hair.

“What have you heard? I don’t have all day. I was just leaving when you came in.”

“Let’s say I’ve heard that there’s someone who isn’t too happy with you and they have it out for you and your club. I’m not sure how she plays into it exactly, but they’re obviously trying to get to you through her as well as striking at your club.”

“What the fuck are you talking about? And how do you know this but I don’t?” I was starting to get pissed. None of it was sitting right with me.

“I’m not telling you that, because I’m sticking my neck out by even telling you this. Take it or leave it, but I promise you—if anything hap
pens to her because of you? I’m coming for you.” He met my eyes and flinched.

“Is that a threat?” I questioned.

“Take it how you will. But start looking into who you pissed off. I gotta go.” He stood. “See you around, Smoke.” Then he left without looking back. I heard his bike start up, and I pulled out my phone. I sent a text to Radar and Straight. Then I dialed Snow.

“What’s up, Smoke, my man? You hear anything new?”

  “Actually, I might have.”

  “What have you got?”

I relayed the conversation with Torque. He promised to put Hacker on it immediately.

“Thanks, bro. I appreciate it,” I said as I stood from the table.

“I’ll do what I can. Stay safe.”

We ended the call and I tucked the phone back in my cut.

Who the fuck has a beef with me?

  “Bulletproof”—Godsmack

Maybe I’d let my guard down too much, but things had thankfully been quiet. I was hoping the guy had been arrested, moved on, or decided I wasn’t worth the trouble.

“Thanks for the ride, Nova. Cheyenne’s car should be out of the shop soon. I appreciate you not making me ride the big cheese.” She grinned at me as I turned into the school. We were waiting in the drop-off line that was creeping along. Anthony, the prospect, was waiting on the street right by the exit driveway in front of the school.

I glanced over at her and smiled. “I really don’t mind.” I realized the cars were moving again and turned forward. We both shrieked when a bearded man stepped from the sidewalk in front of my car and slapped his palms of my hood. He didn’t look like the same guy from the cemetery, but he did look familiar. I held my breath as he stood there staring at me.

“Hey! That’s the guy who showed up at the party!” Mattie said in shock.

“It can’t be,” I whispered as I stared into his brown eyes.

  “Do you know him?”

“I’m not sure,” I murmured. But that was a lie. Because he looked a hell of a lot like the man I thought was still in prison.
