  Together we could do this.

  I hoped.

  ***

“Morning, beautiful,” Aron announced smilingly the second my eyes flickered open. He was looking down at me like he’d been watching me sleep for a long time, which only served to amp up the craziness that I felt inside.

I’d been having yet another one of my dreams about him, our sexual encounter had done nothing to dull that side of my fantasy, but this time I was waking up with him beside me which meant I could actually act on how I was feeling.

“Good morning,” I rasped, while running my hand over his stomach. As I dipped my fingers under his tee shirt to touch those incredible abs of his, Aron’s eyes widened in surprise. He probably wasn’t expecting me to wake up in such a mood…if only he knew that I always woke up this way, because of him. “How are you today?”

“Erm…okay,” he stammered, unsure of how to react.

I slid my palm down onto his thigh, which caused him to tense up and relax in an instant. Then I moved slowly, inching ever closer to where I could already feel an intense heat coming from him. God I wanted him, I wanted to pick up just where we left off in my mind, and I didn’t care how animalistic that made me.

“Oh, God,” Aron’s head lolled to one side as the passion seemed to consume him just at the moment that I pushed my hand into his underwear and I felt his rock hard erection. “Oh, Violet.”

I traced my hand up and down his shaft as his breaths became ragged and my entire body heated up. Turning Aron on, giving him pleasure, turned me on almost as much as when he did it to me. I loved seeing that look on his face, and knowing that I was the one who caused it. I enjoyed knowing that every single one of his thoughts was currently on me.

I wanted more of that, always.

My mouth watered as I shifted down the bed, ready to get a taste of him, eagerness to give myself over to him really getting the better of me now. I just knew that he was going to be delicious, I could feel it in my bones, and from the way he was shuddering and bucking with just my fingers, I knew this would send him over the edge. I couldn’t wait to see him lose it again, and to know that it was all because of me.

I rapidly moved my hand off his cock and yanked his underwear down to get it out the way. Aron’s eyes snapped back open just as I straddled his legs, so I kept my gaze fixed on his as I slowly, tantalizingly leaned forwards and placed a gentle kiss on his erection.

“Fuck, Violet, you have no idea how sexy you look right now,” he exclaimed, while fisting the sheets beneath him. “No idea.”

I grabbed him, and kissed his tip, lapping up the groans that fell past his lips. Then I opened wide, and I inhaled every bit of his sexy, salty scent before I took the plunge and wrapped my lips tightly around him. He did taste fantastic, so fucking good that he made my body hungry for more.

“Shit!” Aron’s body lifted off the bed in shock, which encouraged me to take him deeper. He was thick, he was long, I wasn’t sure that I could consume him all but I really needed to try. I slid my lips down him until he hit the back of my throat, still with my eyes fixed on his to see how he was reacting. He looked like he was in utter agony as I pulled my lips up and down, flicking my tongue all over him as I went. Everything I did to him he appeared to love, which only made me want to give him everything.

“Stop, Violet, I’m about to lose it!” he finally demanded, gripping tighter onto my shoulders. “I can’t. Not like this. Not today.”

I only caved to what he demanded because I felt like I was going to explode myself. The incredible pulse was now screaming through my body. If I didn’t get to have him, I might just die. Aron bolted into a sitting position, and I slid myself further along him until I could feel him teasing me, and the desperation grew.

“I need you,” I commanded back. “I need all of you.” Then I kissed him hard and fast, loving the sensation of his burning hot tongue circling through my mouth. I bit down on his lip gently, seductively, before I moved myself off him just for long enough to peel my clothing away from my hot, sticky body.

  “You truly are beautiful, Violet.”

I wanted to respond, but I didn’t have the words right now, so I angled myself over him and slid his thick pulsating length into me with a gasp instead–showing him how I felt rather than having to say it. Having this wonderful man inside of me made me feel whole, he filled me up in ways that I didn’t even know I needed filling. I rolled my hips and arched my back, doing everything that I could to drive him deeper and deeper into me.

“Oh my God, Aron.” I clung to his shoulders as I rode him, the hot pool of bliss spreading from my stomach and creeping through my veins. “Oh fuck, it’s too much.”

My body pumped and pulsated, my insides flapped, my heart pounded noisily…and then the tsunami of bliss crashed over me, causing me to buckle and shudder violently. Aron held onto me, he cared for me and looked after me even now, so as he cried out I kissed him hard, swallowing up his screams, hopefully doing the same for him.

It was strange, the man who I thought could never be mine was here, in my arms, loving me in every way possible. I had to be the luckiest woman on the whole damn planet.

  Epilogue

“How’s the presentation going?” Aron asked me, as he kissed all over the back of my neck and snaked his arms around my waist. His touch still warmed my heart, even after all this time. I didn’t think I’d ever get bored with having him around.

“It was going well into you came in here,” I mock moaned as a reply. “You are always such a distraction.” I lolled my head to one side and slid my eyes shut for a moment, just enjoying the sensation of having his wonderful, plump lips all over me.

“You shouldn’t have come to live with me then!”

Well, that was true. I should’ve known that living with him would turn out this way. We had been together for a year before he asked me! By that point it was my own fault, I knew how he made me feel and how challenging it was to remember that there was a big wide world outside those doors.

“Fair enough.” I spun in my chair and planted my lips up against his. Then I rested my forehead against his and I lost myself in his warm, dark eyes like I seemed to do at least once a day. “It’s going well, I think today will be good for me.”

Now that things had calmed down at the hospital, and everyone was used to me and Aron being together, it felt strange to recall that he was ever just a fantasy man. Actually, all the years I’d spent thinking about him really didn’t do him any justice. The Dr. Turner that I’d created in my mind was wonderful, but the Aron that I got to be with every single day is fantastic.

Still, I needed to use the difficulties of that experience to help others. It was what drove me every single day, just like being a nurse did.

“It’s got to be better having Nancy by your side?” he asked me nervously. Even though a long time had passed, Aron still found the subject of my complex friendship a difficult one to tackle.

“It is,” I answered honestly. “And not just because we’re friends again now, but because it shows another side of things. Workplace bullying often goes undetected because people don’t think it can happen out of school, and she’s living proof that you might not even realize that you’re doing it. I’m glad she’s working on my charitable foundation with me.”

“Well I’m proud of you too, and Edna would be as well.” Aron knew that I still liked to remember Edna, even though it had been a long time since she passed. She touched me and affected me in ways that no one else ever would. She was special to me, and would always be in my mind somewhere. “I bet she’s looking down on you now, thinking how well you’ve done.”

“I doubt it! I bet she’s spending time with her husband again, she missed him too much after he died…what are you doing?” I suddenly trailed off as I noticed that Aron was no longer standing next to me, but he was on the floor instead.

  On one knee.

Holding out a small jewelry box.

  Oh. My. God.r />
“Speaking of husbands…” he announced with that wonderfully wicked smile of his. “I think it’s time that you made me yours. You already know that I love you and that I’d do anything for you, and I hope I show you how happy you make me every single day. I want to make it official, I want to world to know that I’m yours.”

I could barely breathe, this was all so unexpected. One minute we were just having a normal conversation, and now he was asking me to marry him? He was insane!

Then again, his spontaneous nature was one of the things that I loved about him.

“So, will you do me the most wonderful honor of being my wife?”

“You’re insane,” I gasped with tear flooded eyes. “I don’t even know what to say.”

“Well, I’m sort of hoping that one of the words you’ll say will be yes,” he chuckled, but there was a definite awkwardness there. “That would be ideal.”

“Yes, you idiot! Of course, yes!”

As he jumped up and he scooped me up into his arms, I felt my heart thunder in my chest. Dr. Turner was the man who could never be mine, who was always at arms-length, but now Aron was forever mine and all I wanted to do was weep.

“I love you, so much,” I gasped, while crashing my lips into his for a second.

“I love you too, even if you did call me an idiot after I proposed,” Aron smirked back. “And I’m glad to be yours forever because you honestly are the best person I’ve ever known.”

A happy ever after for me, who would’ve ever thought it?

  Dangerous Bikers -

  Biker Menage

Every muscle in Jessica’s body ached. The long nights at the bar were starting to take their toll on her, and Jessica could not remember when last she had had a decent night’s sleep, let alone any time to herself. She stretched her back with a sigh, and went back to stacking glasses onto the rack above her head. Her body screamed in protest, but she still had several hours left to go before it was closing time– if closing time was early. Sometimes the patrons in the bar that she worked in would stay until the early hours of the morning, and Jessica had to stay right along with them.

A roar of laughter drew her attention to the group on her left. They were a little way away from the bar, but Jessica could tell that they had had a few drinks too many. They were laughing and joking, but Jessica found herself bracing for a fight that would no doubt erupt tonight. Working at a bar frequented by bikers had its perks. She was paid fairly well, so long as she kept her mouth shut and did her work. The high bar room brawl rate was definitely not one of those perks, though, and Jessica found herself longing to be back at home and in bed.

As Jessica moved to check inventory behind the bar, she found her thoughts drifting back to the past year, as they often did when the nights were a little quieter. After all, she wouldn’t be in this bar if it was not for the hell of a year she had had. Bitterness rose in her chest, twisting into her core and making her feel sick. Anger bubbled just below the surface, but Jessica did what she could to quell it. It was difficult, though, when she was stuck working long hours because of her dead-beat ex-husband.

Her relationship with her husband Kevin had started out well enough, a romantic fling that had quickly lead to something more, something exciting and breathless and sexy. He had swept her off her feet and Jessica, welcoming the break from the endless days at work, had embraced it.

The wedding had been a gorgeous affair and the honeymoon had been golden, taking place in a little coastal town not far from the city. It had been charming and idyllic, and life had seemed destined to continue along that path.

It wasn’t until a few years later, that the cracks had begun to show. It had happened slowly, gradual little steps that spoke of them drifting apart. Less time in the bedroom, less time talking, less time together. More excuses, more arguments, less compromises. Jessica had been desperate to fix the marriage and restore what once was, but he had shown little interest in her efforts.

After what seemed like a lifetime of wondering and waiting, Jessica had found signs of the affair. Upon confronting him, he had done little to deny it, and Jessica had felt her life crumble around her. Deserted, left alone and behind, Jessica had been left to pick up the pieces of what was once a happy home.

Her career was going nowhere in a hurry, and to make matters worse, Kevin had not only walked out on her, but he had walked out on everyone else. Jessica could still remember the day that the mailbox seemed to overflow with bills that Kevin had not wanted to deal with, bills that Jessica had not known he had. Bills that left her stranded and panicked, because who else was going to pay for them? Kevin had no family, and Jessica wasn’t much better off.

Who else would be expected to pay for him, if not her, his wife? It was sickening, it was unfair and it was her new reality.

More debts than she could ever hope to pay off in this lifetime, and no one who could help her. She was in a desperate place, more desperate than any she had ever known, but Jessica was not one to give up.

Fearful of the future, but determined to do something other than sit around feeling afraid, Jessica had applied to every after-hours position that she could get her hands on. After many, many fruitless searches and dead ends, she had finally found a position that suited her perfectly. She was to work several shifts per week at a local bar, from five pm until closing time.

Between that and her day-job, Jessica at least had a chance of meeting the debts that loomed over her head. It was a slim chance, but it was a chance none the less, and Jessica was going to give it her best shot.

It wasn’t too bad, after all. The bikers were intimidating, but as long as she gave them their drinks and kept out of their way, she did alright with tips, and found that the bar acted as a bit of a buffer between her and them.

Jessica took a deep breath and made her way back to the front of the bar. The place smelt like alcohol and sawdust, the kind which was scattered all over the floor. It was a musty sort of smell, made stronger by the smell of leather and oil which seemed ingrained in this place after so many years of housing it.

Jessica reached up and adjusted her hair, a clip holding it back and out of her face. It wasn’t until she looked up, that she realized there was a customer at the bar. With a start, she lowered her hands, “Sorry sir, how can I help you?”

“Jessica, right?” His voice was low and slow in a way that oozed confidence. He didn’t look impressed, but he didn’t seem to be in a hurry either.

“Uh, yes, right.” Jessica’s eyes flew down to the name tag that was pinned to her shirt, “What can I get for you?” She smiled, the expression slipping onto her face with ease. Always be nice to the customer.

The man shrugged, drawing Jessica’s eyes to the way his muscles bunched beneath his shirt. He was a big guy, there was no getting away from it. Unlike most of the men in the bar, he wasn’t wearing a jacket, or much gear at all. Instead, he wore a black shirt and jeans, a helmet in one hand. His hair was short, and light, styled into a modern cut that made Jessica’s insides tighten.

He cut an impressive figure, and the way in which he held himself left no doubt that he knew he was in charge of any situation he happened to walk into. Confident, predatory.

He smiled, and while it was charming, it wasn’t welcoming, “Well…you could start by giving me my fucking money.”

Jessica’s eyes flew to his face and, for a moment, she could not find the words to speak, “What?”

“My money, Jessica.” The way he said he name sent shivers down Jessica’s spine, shivers that tingled all the way through her. He was not messing around, “The money Kevin borrowed.”

Fear surged through her, but the bubbling anger that had been simmering beneath the surface all evening threatened to make itself known. How dare he? She was working at all hours to try and pay back the debts of that cheating bastard, and now this guy had the nerve to come and harass her at work for even more mo
ney that she didn’t have.

Jessica resisted the urge to step back, valiantly staring him in the eye, “Kevin’s not here. I never borrowed a cent from you.”

Her voice sounded stronger than she felt, but she held her ground. The man at the bar just laughed, a low, rumbling chuckle that held more malice than all the threats in the world could have, “Oh, sweetheart, you don’t get it.” He shook his head slowly, “You’re paying us back the money, even if you have to sell your house.”

Something about the way he said it made Jessica feel cold. He wasn’t bluffing, he wasn’t trying to build up his act with bravado and bluster. He hadn’t even built up his threats. He had spoken the words like they were a given, like he couldn’t be bothered to give her more than five minutes of his time, because he had things to do. Like take her house.

But he couldn’t do that. He had no legal right to do that, and the anger than had dimmed to embers flared up again, “My house?” She looked around quickly, making sure she wasn’t disturbing the other, paying customers, “Who do you think you are, threatening me like this?”

“Name’s Troy.” He smiled again, and this time he seemed to be genuinely amused, “Enforcer for your friendly local…” He paused and his grin turned almost wolfish, ‘Motorcycle Enthusiast Club.”

“Your boy Kevin borrowed money from the wrong guys, and I’m here to collect.” He stepped away from the bar, “If you don’t believe me, you’d better come and talk to the boss.” He smirked and glanced towards where the manager was standing, talking to the customers, “I’m sure your boss would be understanding, right?”

A meaningful glance at Jessica told her everything she needed to know. She was to follow him– or else. Nausea rose in her guts. So much for an early night, and so much for time to rest before the next shift tomorrow. So much for a life free of danger and debt. So much for love.

For just a moment, Jessica contemplated not going with him, turning him down and going to the cops. The thought sunk beneath the waves of her imagination almost as quickly as she had conjured it. It was foolish- it was folly. Even if she spoke to the cops, they would never side with her on this one- she knew that much for certain. That was just how things worked around here.
