Merci beaucoup also to Marie Hermet and Celine Vial at Flammarion for encouraging me to think outside the box and dream big as a writer. It’s a pleasure to work with you and to have my books published in France.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have been guided throughout my writing career by the loveliest literary-guardian-angel agents. Massive thank you to Judy Chilcote, Erzsi Deak and Jane Willis.

Pursuing our dreams can sometimes be a scary business and we all need our own band of Moonlight Dreamers to support us through the bad times and celebrate with us during the good. I’m indebted to the following people for being there for me through thick and thin: Sara Starbuck, Tina McKenzie, Linda Lloyd, Jeanette Smith, Angela Woodward and Jenny Davies. And of course, my family: Jack Phillips, Michael “Love & Simplicity” Curham, Anne, Bea, Alice, Luke, Katie, Dan and John and my American family, the awesome Delaney clan (next dream: to live Stateside with y’all, writing books fuelled by vanilla coffee and Brownie Brittle).

Much gratitude also to my Facebook family for all the laughs and the likes and the shares. Special thanks to my old Nower Hill chums, my writing workshop buddies and my fellow yogi dancers.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the book bloggers and readers who’ve been so supportive of my work. And to all the young people I’ve met in my workshops – talking to you and learning all about your hopes and challenges inspired me to write this book. I hope it helps you dare to dream. You have so much to offer the world and the world has so much to offer you – never forget it.

Thank you to Oscar Wilde for providing us with so much wit and wisdom – and for the quote that planted the seed for this book.

And finally, thank YOU for reading The Moonlight Dreamers. I hope it’s encouraged you to live and dream boldly.
