She wanted things to be simple, but it seemed they were all worried about her leaving just as she was worried about leaving them.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do. It has to be safe. It was my home, and where I felt comfortable, but after the abduction and being attacked, it’s going to take time to feel the same way again,” she told him then gasped as his fingers penetrated her pussy.

“I want you here with all of us. I want you to come with me to take pictures and share in the beauty of the land we own. I want to wake up every morning and go to sleep every night knowing that you’ll be right here with me, with my team.”

“Flynn?” She turned to tell him that she couldn’t make that decision now. But instead of letting her speak, he cupped her face and kissed her deeply.

She didn’t want to face the decision right now. She felt that maybe it would come easier in the days ahead when she was forced to decide. She had to return for business, to friends, and a life she was used to.

Flynn kissed her deeply and she felt his cock grow harder in his jeans. She wanted him. She wanted to relish in these moments of pleasure so she would always remember what they shared if she was forced to head home. It seemed that only Fenton and Flynn wanted her to stay and wanted things to be more serious. The others hadn’t expressed the same desires. She couldn’t stay here if they all didn’t want her to remain with them and start a life together.

The thought of losing them, of having to leave, made her sad and angry. She wanted this to last forever. She reached for Flynn’s pants and undid the button and zipper, but before she could release his cock and take him into her mouth, Flynn took control.

He turned her around and toward the dresser. He bent her over it.

“Hold onto the top. I need to grab a condom.”

  “You don’t need one.”

She felt his hands grip her hips then him removing his pants before holding her again.

He used his thigh to spread her thighs and he stroked a finger up into her cunt.

“Keeping secrets?” he whispered against her neck, pressing her firmer against the dresser. Her breasts smushed against the wood, and her pussy leaked from his forceful, dominating actions.

“I’m going to make it so that the decision is obvious and clear. I want you here with me. So do the others. You’re mine now. Ours.” He pulled fingers from her pussy and replaced them with his cock.

He thrust into her fully from behind as she grabbed onto the dresser and moaned aloud.

She titled her head up and saw him in the mirror. He looked so hard, so intense in the moment as he stroked in and out of her pussy.

He locked gazes with her through the reflection and hissed.

“Take off the sweatshirt.” He helped her ease out of it and toss it onto the rug.

She was totally naked. Her breasts bobbed and swayed in front of the mirror. She lowered as he continued his thrusts.

“No. Lift up. I want to see your breasts. Show me what belongs to me.” She moaned again, unable to handle his dominant control and his words of power over her body.

Her breasts swayed and bounced with every inward thrust.

“That’s it. God, India, you’re too beautiful. Too perfect for me. But goddamn, I won’t be able to live without this. Without you.”

He moved faster, held her tight, and they both moaned and panted.

“Come with me, baby. Come with me now.” he said and rocked his hips two more times as she exploded and he followed. The dresser shook and her body ached as Flynn kissed along her shoulder.

“I’m sorry I missed going for pictures with you this morning.”

“Tomorrow, baby. You can come with me tomorrow.” He pulled from her body, turned her around, and kissed her as he lifted her up into his arms.

He held her tight as he carried her to the bed and began to massage her body.

This was heaven, and she would be a fool to not want to live heaven every day of her life.

  Chapter 8

“Are you sure about this? It’s safe for her to return?” Ford asked Silas as he Fenton, and Fisher stood in the office and spoke on speakerphone. The others were upstairs getting ready to go into town. They were bringing India into town and having dinner later in the evening at the Main Street Inn with their friends, Asher, Avery, Beau, Blade, Cason, and their woman Cora.

But now that Silas said the situation in Chicago had been resolved, India could head home. Andrei and Iakov were no longer a threat. Iakov was dead and Andrei disappeared. His stomach dropped. This was what they were dreading. The moment when she would face the decision to leave town, and leave them and what they shared.

“It’s all good. Her friend Aspen is fine, too. It’s going to take a few days to organize a pickup. Can she stay a little longer or do I need to call the Inn in Pearl?”

“No. Of course she can stay. We’re taking her into Pearl tonight,” Ford told Silas.

“Nice. She’ll like that. But I’m sure she’ll want to get back to work in Chicago. Her phone has been ringing nonstop. She missed meetings and client appointments. Never mind dates. I never realized how many men were interested in her. But Fenton read the texts. She probably can’t wait to return to her lavish life and all the parties and activities with friends. I’m sure you’re all sick of listening to that club music she blasts all day long,” Silas said and chuckled.

“We got her to listen to some country,” Fisher said and Ford thought about how she’d tried to force the club music on them over the surround sound. But she came around and started listening to country music. Especially the real sappy love songs.

“That’s funny. India listening to country music. I’m sure she’s ready to return to her city lifestyle. Again, thanks for helping me out with this. I put the money in the account.”

“You didn’t have to do that. We don’t want money for watching over her. She’s your sister,” Fenton barked.

“It was what we discussed. I know you all were planning on taking a break from the freelance work. I just wanted to make it up to you. Use some tonight for dinner at the Inn. I’m sure she’s going to be thrilled to head back to Chicago, and I bet you’ll be thrilled to get back to your lives without worrying about her.”

“Yeah. We can get things back to normal again. We’ll tell India,” Ford said then disconnected the call.

  * * * *

India felt the tears roll down her cheeks. So they really didn’t want her to stay. They’d just said that and made her think that the decision to leave was all on her and they cared. But hearing what they said. Learning that they were getting paid to watch over her and that they would use some of the money to take her out to town tonight really pissed her off. So the sex, the complete feeling she felt was just on her end only? At least that’s what Fenton, Ford, and Fisher acted like and showed in their response to her brother.

They thought she was a high-class snob. Hadn’t they realized she liked staying out here with them? She loved the country air, had even enjoyed finally being able to sit out on the porch swing and enjoy the quiet. It was when she was sitting on that bench that she realized how noisy and constantly active Chicago was. She was going nonstop all the time, barely spending time in her penthouse suite. She didn’t really need such a big place. She thought about her lifestyle, the clubs, the dating, and the friends who partied on Dom Pérignon and spoke with their noses in the air. It got on her nerves. But it was her life. Besides, it seemed the men were not really truthful about wanting her forever. If they had, wouldn’t they have told her brother that things changed and she was staying? She would have been touched by their possessive statement. But what did it matter? That wasn’t the case.

She would go out with them this evening. Perhaps she would make love with them one more time tonight. But tomorrow, she would sneak out early, send for her things later, and head into town to grab a bus. She was foolish to think that five sexy, retired military soldiers with attitudes and a life in Texas would want more than ju
st sex from a good time city girl like her.

She gulped the lump of emotion in her throat and straightened out her shoulders.

She’d had her heart broken only once before, but this, this was worse than anything she’d ever felt before. In fact, it was five times worse.

India heard Flynn and Grey calling her name.

She answered back as she wiped her eyes, checked her face in the small mirror, and met them by the stairs.

Grey whistled as he looked her over.

“You look gorgeous, baby. I missed you,” he said as Grey pulled her into his arms and hugged her tight. She squeezed him back, knowing that their time was limited. She wondered, as he inhaled her perfume and kissed her neck, whether or not Grey and Flynn wanted her to stay.

But then she remembered they were a team. They did everything together. Their decision was made. She wasn’t as important as she thought she was to them. They were going to let her go and she wouldn’t beg them to let her stay. It was over. The sooner the morning came, the better off she would be.

“Are you all set?” Ford asked as he joined them by the stairs and the living room area.

“All set. Doesn’t she look incredible?” Flynn asked as he lifted her hand and kissed the top.

“She sure does. You better stick by our side tonight, India,” Fenton warned her and she had to gulp down the tears. Normally her belly would do a series of flips, but knowing he was playing along made her feel like crap. She took Grey’s hand as he led her out of the house and to the truck.

Flynn was watching India since she’d arrived in town with them. She truly seemed impressed with the town, the various shops and new construction. Yet when he held her hand or one of the others showed affection, he could sense her uneasiness. He wondered if it was an insecurity about being in a ménage relationship in a public place. They’d never really discussed having this relationship and what this type of relationship entailed. Ford felt that she would learn by seeing the other couples and ménage relationships in town.

She would really get a sense of it when they went to the Inn to meet their friends and their woman Cora.

Flynn smiled and winked as India pointed to one of the handmade clocks that Drake Santos made.

“That is incredible. Someone you know made that?” she asked Fenton.

He nodded his head. “He does it all himself. You should see his little display in town,” Fenton told her.

“Does he sell them online, too? My friends in Chicago would go crazy for this. In fact, I know at least three people who would want one.”

“He doesn’t sell them online. It’s a hobby of his and he uses it as a form of therapy,” Fenton added, taking her hand. Flynn noticed that Fenton looked annoyed at her mentioning Chicago and about friends liking the clocks. They still hadn’t told her that her brother called and said that it was safe to return to Chicago.

“Your friends in Chicago probably wouldn’t like them. They’re too country,” he added and they walked inside to wait for the table at the Inn.

  * * * *

India loved the small town that seemed to be expanding with new construction. Yet, there was a real appeal to it. It reminded her of something out of a book. The only real differences were that in this town there were many ménage relationships. She took notice of the multiple guys with women walking with children and babies in strollers. It was refreshing to see, but also brought on an ache deep in her heart.

As much as she fantasized about becoming part of the team, it seemed they didn’t want her. She wondered when they would tell her that Silas called and gave the all clear for her to return. She didn’t want to face the pain right now. She really did like the town, and she especially loved the welcoming feeling she had the moment she stepped into the Inn in Main Street.

“Well my goodness, it’s so nice to see you guys here in town. It’s been like what? Six months or so?” a young woman by the entrance asked.

“Oh cut it out, Sage. It hasn’t been that long,” Ford replied.

She giggled and then winked. “I’ve got your table all set for you. So who’s your friend?” she asked and India smiled as Ford introduced her to the woman. She was bright and bubbly and seemed really nice. India reached her hand out to shake Sage’s and the woman winked as she told them to follow her. Sage whispered over her shoulder. “You must be special. I’ve never seen any of these guys with a woman. Hearts are breaking around Pearl tonight,” Sage said and then placed the menus down as India took a seat that Flynn pulled out for her.

She felt her cheeks warm at Sage’s assumption that India was their girlfriend. It was foolish of her not to correct Sage, but considering that the likelihood India would see the woman or this sweet, charming town again was slim, she let it slide.

Flynn ran his hand along her shoulder as he took the seat next to her. Ford took the seat on her other side as the others gathered around the table. Just then Grey stood back up to greet their friends.

India was shocked at how attractive the men were as well as how beautiful their girlfriend Cora was.

India stood up to shake the men’s hands as each of them eyed her over then winked at the men. It was typical. She knew her platinum-blonde hair and blue eyes stood out, as well as her figure, but she wasn’t even wearing anything glamorous. A beige skirt, a light, pale blue sweater, and leather boots, since it was cold outside.

  She shook Cora’s hand.

  “Wow, you’re gorgeous,” Cora whispered.

“So are you. My God you have great eyes.”

  Cora smiled. “Thank you.”

“How about we change up the seating a little so Cora and India can sit side by side?” Blade suggested and Flynn got up and moved around. Ford remained next to India and Blade next to Cora. It was pretty simple to figure out who the commanders were of each team.

The thought brought on a surge of desire once again. She found the possessiveness, the commanding actions so sexy and as she turned to snap out of her fantasy thoughts, she spotted Fenton watching her.

She knew she was busted and soon enough she didn’t really care. If she was going to leave them and they weren’t going to stop her, then at least she would enjoy this time together with them.

“So I thought I would get you guys up to par over the wolves situation near your estate. The Murphys had another attack of livestock last night. Took out some livestock and raided the chicken coops,” Cason told them. Apparently he was a deputy in town just like Grey.

“Oh no. What’s the deal? Is Wyatt calling in for some specialists to come check it out?” Ford asked, sounding concerned.

“He made a call. They should be coming in to investigate this upcoming week. I’d say keep your guns handy. The Murphys think there are at least a half dozen wolves in the one pack.”

“Interesting. Could there be more than one pack like we all first thought?” Fenton asked.

“Could be. We may need your skills for tracking them if another incident happens before the wildlife patrol comes in to investigate,” Cason told Fenton.

“No problem. I think we all need to take the necessary precautions in the early morning hours and of course in the evening hours.”

The men continued to talk about work and things as Cora struck up a conversation about town and the boutiques.

“So, have you gotten to browse the shops in town at all? There are some really nice ones and even better ones that will open in the winter and the spring.”

“No, not really. We parked a few blocks away so that the guys could show me some of the places but that was it.”

“Oh, we should make plans then. Men hate shopping and walking around. To tell you the truth, I don’t really know Fenton, Ford, and Flynn as well as Fisher and Grey. I guess because Fisher and Grey come into town a lot and work in law enforcement. They keep to themselves. But if it’s okay with them, I could show you around tomorrow.”

She glanced at Fenton, who watched her and listened, then Ford g
ave her hip a tap. She looked at him and he winked.

“You can if you want to. I could drop you off in town to meet up with Cora.”

His suggestion surprised her. Ford hadn’t even told her that it was safe to return to Chicago, yet here he was pushing plans with Cora as if she would be staying long enough to make a friend. She didn’t get it but she smiled and told Cora that was nice of her and she would love to meet up with her tomorrow.

  * * * *

Fenton watched India talking with Cora. He noticed the people in the room as they passed by take notice of her. The same thing happened when they were out walking through town earlier. She stood out. Between her platinum-blonde hair, her blues eyes and sexy body, she was a sight. But that wasn’t all he noticed. She had sophistication, a depth of class and superiority that shined from her, yet she wasn’t stuck up or full of herself. She was sweet, approachable, but she didn’t quite fit into the crowd.

That bothered Fenton. How could they ask her to stay here in Pearl with them when she had so much more in Chicago? What did he personally have to offer her but his body, his commitment, and what? His stubborn, piss-poor attitude and overprotective, possessive behavior? He was a prick and he knew it. No one made him change or want to change but India. But they chose to live here in Pearl and to establish a home and a safe haven in between jobs. India had been forced to come here. She had been abducted, beaten, and then whisked off away from her brother and her friends in the middle of the night in order to keep her safe. She wasn’t even fully conscious the first week, and then barely able to remain coherent for more than an hour or two the next week.

India laughed at something Flynn said and Ford kept his arm over the back of her chair as she chuckled. Avery and Asher asked India about Chicago and about her business.

“So that’s like real high-tech stuff, the designer with computers I mean?” Avery asked.

“It is, but with today’s amazing software, you’d be surprised how easy the programs are to use.”
