“Does Hangman know?”
“No, and I don’t want him to. He needs to just keep on thinkin’ I’m fuckin’ dead.” Damn, this shit is fucked.
“Fuck, man, I gotta tell Angel and the others. If you really wanna keep this shit quiet, they gotta know, or they could slip up and say something.”
“Listen to us, talking like fuckin’ chicks. Get out, man,” he says with a smirk.
I chuckle. “Later, man.”
I walk out and head back into the meeting.
Zippo comes back in looking hesitant. “What?” I ask him.
“T-bags has got a good reason. Hangman’s his brother. Doesn’t want him to know that he’s actually alive,” I tell him and Angel.
“Shit,” Angel whispers. “That explains some things.”
It does; whenever a charity drive or a protection order takes us around that area, T-bags always says he can’t. Now it makes sense.
“We got more news,” I tell Zippo when he takes his seat.
He frowns. “I was only gone like ten minutes.”
I shake my head and look to Angel, who is leaning forward, rubbing at his beard. “Monica’s dead,” Angel tells him.
Zippo’s face pales, and he quickly looks to Angel. We all know that he never did love her, but still. It’s the same way Vinny felt about Kayla when she died.
“Fuck,” he says, pullin’ off his beanie and rubbing his head. “When the fuck do the Untamed get here? Because I hate to admit this right now, but we seriously need them.”
*~*
A week later, the Untamed Angels finally show up. Hangman wanted to come himself, so he needed to finish up his other shit.
“Well, well, lookie here, boys. It’s the Grim Reaper,” Hangman says, laughing.
Of course he’d laugh. Fucker makes me look like goddamn cupid.
“We have a lock on the location. I was able to get Scraper here to head up to that cabin the second I got off the phone with Angel. He’s followed them to a local farm house here in town. He’s keeping watch, making sure they don’t leave. I’m about to head there myself,” he tells us.
“I’ll come with. I want my wife back,” I growl out.
Hangman smirks. “No, man, you ain’t. Part of the marker I owe you is to not get you caught up in shit that’d make people think badly of the Pussy MC. We’ll bring the girls to you, to the local hospital. Get there, stay there, and wait.”
“Fuck that,” I tell him, stepping forward.
“Don’t try me, kid.”
Angel steps forward. “He’s right, man. You get caught up in this shit, there’s no way we can clear you and Zippo of shit at all.”
“Fine,” I say through gritted teeth. “You touch one hair on my woman, I swear to God I’ll see you put in the ground.” No wonder why T-bags didn’t want this fucker to know he was still alive.
“While we’re here, gonna search for some pussy. Let those fuckers at the farmhouse think they are safe for tonight, that we don’t know where they are. Then tomorrow, we’re goin’ in,” Hangman says.
I narrow my eyes at him. “Ain’t you married?”
“Yeah, I am. Doesn’t mean I ain’t gonna get side pussy,” he says with a scary as shit smile. “My Old Lady knows how it is. She ain’t got a fuckin’ choice.” I wonder if the fucker knows his wife is Lilly’s cousin. If he’s able to get the women back, I wonder if he’ll recognize Eden, considering she stayed with his wife and her mother for a time until she got her own apartment.
We’re all huddled together in the cold dirty barn, watching Victor pacing and barking at Momma B. Breaks is standing guard outside. From what they said, they’re worried someone’s followed us. I don’t know where Trent is. After he drove us up here, he took off.
Banging on the doors of the barn startles us.
“What?” Victor says angrily.
Breaks comes in, looking like he shit is pants. “Man, fucking Untamed Angels are here,” he says, his voice cracking.
“No,” Victor says, looking sick.
I look at the girls, and their eyes are bugging out. For Victor and Breaks to look this scared, this MC must be really bad. Jasper, Mason, and Vinny wouldn’t have called them in unless they had good reason to.
I notice that Momma B has fallen to the ground and is shaking.
A gun shot quickly has me looking back toward Breaks, who gets tossed into the barn.
“Well, hello there, Victor,” a huge evil looking man says with a twisted grin. I thought Mason was scary looking at times. This guy has him beat. Totally.
“Hangman,” Victor croaks out.
“You’re gonna let the pussies go while I have some fun in here with you.”
Victor shakes his head. “They’re my leverage. I ain’t parting with them.”
“I really hate to do this, but since you won’t let them go...” he says, aiming his gun at Victor’s foot then turning toward us. “Beautiful fuckin’ pussy. Such shit that you three are taken. Gonna have to get you ladies to go outside now. A few of my men are there, and they have orders not to touch you. This shit right here, you ain’t gonna wanna see,” he tells us while still checking us out.
“Come on. Let’s go. This guy is scaring the piss outta me,” Eden says, pulling me and Lilly outside.
We’re huddled outside in the freezing cold for twenty some minutes, maybe longer, when I hear the barn door open.
“Ladies, you can have this here blanket,” I hear Hangman say from behind us. “This shit is gonna take a little while,” he says, grinning.
I snatch the blanket, and we huddle together—finally getting a little warmth. Thirty minutes later, he’s done doing whatever the hell he was doing and comes outside. The sound of gravel crunching and a door slamming shut startles us.
“Scraper’s here, which means I can’t keep playing with this one,” he says, and my eyes go back to him. He sighs and looks upset. “I’m gonna get cleaned up, then take you pretty pussies to the hospital where your men are waiting.” That’s when I notice that he’s completely covered, almost head to toe, in blood, and I think I even see pieces of gunk on him. Eww.
A big man steps out of the van that just pulled up, and I think my panties just melted off. If I didn’t think Jasper was the hottest man in the universe, I would consider jumping him.
“Holy shit. I want to lick that,” Hilary mumbles from beside me.
I look to Lilly and see her mouth wide open. “You’re drooling, Lilly-pad,” I tell her.
“Ladies, let’s get you in the van to wait for Hangman,” he tells us. Damn, even is voice is sexy.
This man is tan, tall, broad shouldered, and I never thought a bald head was sexy, but now I’m rethinking that. He has symbols tattooed all over his scalp, and when he talks, he has dimples so big that I could see myself licking the curve of them. His muscles are bulging through his shirt as he opens the van doors for us.
“Come on. Get in,” he rumbles.
With that, we move fast, not wanting to piss off this bear of a man, and climb in the back. Hangman climbs in the passenger seat and looks back at us, shaking his head.
“You look familiar,” he says, his eyes narrowing at Lilly. “We fuck before?”
She shakes her head. “No.”
“Shame,” he mutters.
Lilly turns to me, her eyes bugging out in a ‘what the fuck’ way.
My phone chimes with a video message. “Who’s that?” Angel asks from beside me.
We’re all sitting outside the hospital, waiting on our women. Scraper texted us about ten minutes ago, saying he has our shipment and they’re on their way.
I open the message. “Hangman.” I hit play on the video. It’s grainy, but I can still see it when I squint. He’s whistling as I hear Momma B scream and gurgle. I watch him as he slices her open.
“She’ll die eventually,” he says, grinning. Hangman goes back to whistling as he starts to pull out her intestines. “Oh, fuck,” I say, trying not to gag. He’s going ri
ght to town, fuckin’ smiling the whole time. I finally see the light go out in Momma B, but not before the fucker cuts up through her chest and carves her heart out.
“I don’t know if I can keep watching this fucked up shit,” I tell Angel. Zippo is over by the emergency doors, pacing.
“Give it here,” Angel says, holding out his hand.
This shit has to be pretty bad if Reaper can’t stomach whatever’s on this video. When I hit resume play, I see Hangman stacking Momma B’s body against a wall, with all her insides piled up around her. What the fuck?
He pulls Victor from his chair that he’s taped to and sits on him, grinning. “Now this, this will be fucking fun. You, motherfucker, killed my baby brother, and you’re gonna pay.” I watch as he scalps my father, stabbing him slowly with his knife. “Pass me that saw.” I watch him say to someone off camera.
He takes the saw and slowly saws off my dad’s arms. I can’t help but watch. I want to shut this fucking phone down and wish I’d never watched this, but I’m glued to it. As my dad screams more, that’s when Hangman finally shuts him up by sawing off his head.
When it’s finished, he stacks him beside Momma B’s body. Just when I think it’s over, he brings over Breaks. At first, I think he’s going to do the same to him. “Are you the one that killed everybody?” Hangman asks.
Breaks shakes his head. “No, Bruce got intel into the prison to kill Big Willy. He also killed Foxy and brought Roni here, but I killed him when I found out he was gonna switch sides. Then I got rid of Kayla for Lilly, and killed Monica for Eden,” Breaks says all in one breath.
“Why’d you do that?” I hear Hangman say, sounding bored.
“Momma B wanted Kayla gone for hurting Lilly. I wanted Monica gone because I knew Trent would want her to pay for hurting Eden,” he says, gulping.
I’ve had enough. Fuck this. I power down the phone and pass it back to Reaper, who is standing off to the side, smoking a joint. I always knew that fucker Trent wanted my woman. But what, if any, role did he play in this shit?
“Shit got worse,” is all I say to him.
He goes to reply, but we see a van pull up to the emergency bays, and we go forward, knowing it’s our women.
We arrive at the hospital, all three of us still pretty shaken. Before we even make it to the front doors, Jasper, Vinny, and Mason come storming out.
“Told you we had them. Just need to get them checked out,” Hangman tells the guys.
They don’t pay attention; Mason stalks forward toward me, I see Jasper grab Eden, kissing her passionately, and Vinny does the same with Lilly. Mason grabs me and pulls me in tight against him. “Never been so scared in my life. I’m not letting you go, Hilary. We’ll make this work,” he tells the top of my head.
I feel the tears welling up in my eyes as I nod against him.
“Thanks, man,” Jasper gruffly tells Hangman, still having Eden wrapped up in his arms.
Hangman nods. “Don’t call on us again. You’ve used up all of the markers we owed you.”
He takes off in the cargo van that he brought us here in.
I see Jasper take Eden aside, just as Vinny takes Lilly aside.
Mason grabs me in a bear hug. “Not letting you fuckin’ go ever again. Fuck, Hilary, I love you. We’re not getting’ a divorce. This is me and you. Gonna fill you with my kids,” he says, choking up.
He kisses me roughly.
“Ahem,” A throat clearing comes close to us.
“Come on. Let’s get you ladies checked out,” Mason says while pulling back from me, leading the way inside.
The hospital is busy tonight; looks like we might be in for a long wait. The guys make us sit down, telling us they’ll be back in a few minutes.
“Well, looks like we’re all finally getting our men,” I say with a small grin.
Eden looks flushed. “He told me we’re getting married tomorrow,” she whispers.
I burst out laughing. “Vinny told me we were getting married too,” Lilly says.
Now I’m laughing even harder. These guys are great. I knew they couldn’t be assholes forever.
“What about you? What’d Mason say?” Eden asks.
“Told me he was never letting me go,” I tell them.
Lilly grins. “Yay for the men getting the sticks outta their asses.”
“Yeah,” I whisper happily.
Once we have the girls checked in and they’re in the waiting area, me, Angel, and Zippo head outside to talk. “Shit’s done. Moving on now,” Angel says with a breath of relief.
“Yeah, we’re done with the Untamed Angels. Those fuckers are sick. Bastard sent me a fuckin’ picture and a video of him gutting Momma B and Victor. Sick fuck,” I tell Zippo; only Angel knew since he was beside me, but Zippo was off pacing the damn ground. “He was even grinning and laughing some of the time.”
Zippo’s eyes darken. “How’s shit coming with the warrants for mine and Reaper’s arrests?”
Angel smiles. “Good news on that. Hangman’s third in command isn’t as fuckin’ crazy as he is. He only put one bullet in Breaks, got him in the gut¸ but he’s alive. Dropped him off at the police station, bleeding out, along with the end of the video that was sent to Reaper with his confession.”
“Thank fuck,” Zippo says.
“I take it with the reunion ya’ll just had with the girls, you’re putting shit in the past and moving on?” I ask them with a knowing smirk.
“Fuck yes. I told Eden we’re getting married tomorrow,” Angel says.
Zippo bursts out laughing. “I told Lilly the same thing.”
I shake my head and grin.
“What about you?” Angel asks me.
“I told her I wasn’t letting her go.”
The guys come in a half an hour later, smirking. All three of them pull us out of our seats and sit down, pulling us on their laps.
Mason nuzzles my neck as I watch Eden and Jasper practically fuckin’ each other in their chair. Lilly and Vinny are cuddled up close, just talking. God, this is amazing. Finally.
It’s not long before Eden gets called in. Jasper tries to go with her, but they told him they’ll come get him in a little while. He looks pissed that he has to be separated from her but sits back down.
Lilly is next, but Vinny doesn’t bother to fight it; he just scowls as she leaves the room.
I have to hold in a giggle because I don’t want to piss them off. When it’s my turn, Mason puts up a huge fight.
“She’s not going in without me,” he tells the nurse.
“I’m sorry, sir, but you can’t be in there. Someone will come out to get you once the doctor looks her over first. Then you’ll be allowed back,” she tells him gently.
“Fuck that. She was just kept from me for almost a month. She’s not leaving my sight.”
“Mason, it’ll be okay,” I tell him.
His jaw clenches, and he gives me a chin jerk. He kisses me roughly before letting me go. “Fuckin’ stupid hospital policies,” he grumbles as he sits down.
I follow the nurse into a cubicle, and she closes the curtain for some privacy. The doctor comes in shortly after and quickly looks me over.
“Everything looks fine,” he tells me with a smile.
Before he leaves, I speak up. “Is it possible to get a pregnancy test done?” I ask quietly.
He looks at me a moment before his face turns grim. “Of course. We can even offer a Plan B if you need.”
I shake my head. “No, no, it’s not that. They didn’t touch me that way,” I let him know quickly.
His face changes, and a small smile forms. “Okay, we’ll get you set up in a moment. I’ll have the nurse come in.” He gives me a nod and walks out of the room.
The nurse draws my blood and sends it down to the lab; she says she put a rush on the results for me. I think they just can’t wait to get Mason out of here. I can hear him down the hall, giving everyone shit because he hasn’t been allowed back to see me yet.
&n
bsp; Thirty minutes later, the nurse comes back and congratulates me, letting me know that I am indeed pregnant. The doctor then comes in, along with an ultrasound machine to check out the baby. Once they are happy with everything they see, they let me know I’m about four and a half months along. This means the very first time Mason found me at the hotel was when I got pregnant. I can’t believe that, though; I still had a period. I only missed it while I was kidnapped. I can’t believe I’m getting a second chance to have a family with the love of my life. I just hope Mason takes the news better this time around. But after everything that has happened, I think he’ll be happy.
*~*
After telling the guys and a bunch of cops, including officer Thrane, who kept looking at Lilly often, about our time with Momma B, Victor, and Breaks, we all finally get to go home. I haven’t stepped foot in the house I shared with Mason since the day I left. It feels weird being back here.
It’s been a full day since the guys rescued us and we had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the Untamed Angels. I accidently saw the video that was sent to Mason’s phone, and it’s fucking nasty. The way they took out Momma B and Victor... I can’t stop having nightmares about it. They didn’t even blink. I can’t believe Lilly’s cousin, Tori, is married to that sick fuck.
Mason has given me some space, not much but enough, which is good because sometimes the nightmares are overwhelming. I also haven’t told him I’m pregnant.
I know I need to tell him; I watched Jasper when he learned of his twins, and the devastation of not ever knowing about them. I won’t do that to Mason. I just have to find the right time. We still haven’t even talked about anything.
“You’re being quiet. What’s wrong?” Mason asks, pulling me into him.
“It’s just been a long while since I was here last,” I tell him.
He squeezes me tight while kissing my neck. His fingers brush over the ring, which is now back on my finger. He smiles, and I think I may have just seen a hint of a tear coming from my tough guy. This ring on my finger is my answer; I want us to stay together. He is my husband after all.
