“Let me put on my clothes,” I mumbled. He made his way back to the couch and sat down. His eyes were still fixed on me as I started taking off my stripper clothes. I was now naked in front of him and he licked his lips. I shivered slightly. I watched as goosebumps rose on my skin. I put on my jeans and my shirt before turning to him again.
“I can't believe how hard you make me,” Damian said from the couch. I shook my head but still chuckled. I walked to him and pulled his face to mine. Our lips crashed against each other, making me moan instantly. He sucked on my lower lip. I could feel a little pain as he bit but it was good pain. Our tongues slide against each other, Damian was making sure that he had full dominance. Just as he was about to pull me on him, I pulled away, breathing heavily.
“We need to go,” I said, wanting him close to me as soon as possible. He nodded and stood up. He took off his tie and shoved it down his pocket. He looked so hot right now as he ran his hand in his messy hair. He took my hand in his as we walked to the door. Once we stepped out of the room after Damian unlocked it, I saw Rose standing at the end of the corridor. She seemed really nervous and anxious.
“Do you want to talk to her before we leave?” Damian asked. I nodded. “I'll be waiting for you in the car,” he informed. I smiled and watched as he walked away. I made my way to Rose and tapped on her shoulder, making her jump in surprise.
“You seem nervous.”
“I don't want to lose Jace because of this job.” She sighed. I peeked in the club and saw Jace sitting by the bar. He seemed nervous too.
“Perform tonight and then you'll see what he says after,” I told her. She nodded and wrapped her arms around me.
“I heard that you won't be working here,” she said. I took a deep breath and chuckled.
“Mr. Damian Spears booked me until I found a job,” I announced. Rose smiled and shook her head. “I'm leaving, I'll see you tomorrow,” I said as I made my way to the main door of the club. Rose waved at me as I walked pass through numerous men in the club.
Chapter 22
Unwanted
“A glass of wine?” Damian asked as he walked to the kitchen.
I followed behind, not really knowing what to do. Wait. I knew what I came to do but I didn't know what Damian was waiting for. Once we reached the kitchen, he motioned for me to sit on a chair while he walked to the drawers and pulled out two glasses. Then he took an expensive shit bottle of wine before walking to me. He pulled the chair in front of me and settled himself. He poured the wine in complete silence. I blinked several times. I didn't know how to break that silence and we could feel the tension in the room. Sexual tension. The looks he was giving me was enough to make me fidget in my seat.
“Stop staring at me,” I mumbled as I stared at him.
He smirked, then licked his lips, causing me to press my thighs together. Damn. The things he made me feel was simply magical. No words needed to be said. His eyes were enough. I brought the glass to my lips and tilted it. The wine slid in my mouth as I stared at him. Once I was done sipping, I licked my lips, making Damian clench his jaw.
“You're torturing me,” he said as his eyes lowered to my lips. A grin appeared on my face as I put the glass back on the table and stood up. I walked to him, took his glass out of his hand and slowly took a gulp of his wine. Damian was looking at me in anticipation. He pulled his chair backwards and motioned for me to sit on his lap. I put the glass on the table and sat on his lap, with my legs on both sides of him. I put my hands on his shoulders and leaned my forehead against his. “You're so beautiful,” he gasped. I could hear the sincerity in his words, and his eyes were shining.
“You make me feel beautiful.”
He put his hand on the back of my neck and pulled my face closer to his. Our lips met and instead of a rough, sexual and hard kiss, it was slow, passionate, and soft. He was holding me, scared as if I might break in his hands. The hand that was on my waist pinched my skin slightly, making me hiss in pain. He took the opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth. I moaned against his lips and he bit them. My fingers ran in his hair, tugging on them, wanting him even closer. I could feel him growing under me. When we were soon out of breath, he pulled away and slowly pushed my face to the side to get access to my neck. His warm tongue danced against my cold skin and he made sure to suck and bite my skin to leave hickeys. I moaned as he bit hard on my skin. It was painful. But definitely good pain. When he pulled away from my neck, he crashed his lips against mine. I let my fingers ran themselves in his hair, tugging more roughly, causing him to groan in want.
Tiiing!
At the sound, I pulled away from what I wanted huffing, making Damian chuckle. He put his hand on the back of my neck and pulled me to him again, just as his lips pressed against mine, the annoying ting sound echoed through the house. This time Damian groaned as he clenched his jaw.
“What the fucking hell do they want right now?” he asked as he pulled away. I held onto his shoulders and gently lifted myself off him. I couldn't help but notice the huge bulge in his pants. “You caused this,” he whispered huskily as he saw me staring. I bit my lips and when my eyes met his, I felt my cheeks redden.
“What is it?” I asked, bringing him out of this hazy moment. He stood up and made his way to an intercom.
“Security,” he said as he pressed a button on the intercom. “What is it?” he asked sternly or rather rudely.
“Mr. Spears. There is a Miss Rosemary Kropp at the gate, saying that she has a meeting with you,” the guard said. Rosemary? Here? I took a deep breath and watched as Damian looked conflicted. He was considering telling Rosemary to go. But if it was a meeting, at that time, it must be important, right? And if Damian was hesitating, then it must be important.
“Let her in. I'm leaving,” I told him, offering a little smile to show that I didn't mind. Well, I did. But our relationship is just a deal and I'll have to deal with it.
“No, you're not leaving,” he said sternly.
“Tell Rosemary to come tomorrow.” Damian ordered into the intercom. A smile crept on my face but it soon disappeared when we heard Rosemary's voice.
“Damian! You promised you'd take me out for a date,” Rosemary shouted. I blinked once, twice, and thrice.
“A date?” I asked in a small voice.
“That was just to get her away from me.” Damian sighed. The doorbell rang and we instantly knew who it was. I sat on the chair and watched as Damian made his way to the door. Once it was opened, I could hear Rosemary's expensive heels tapping on the floor.
“Why were you cancelling our date?” Rosemary asked Damian coldly.
“Behave,” Damian ordered as they made their way to the kitchen. I sat there, frozen on my chair, not really knowing how to react to Rosemary's presence. Once they stepped in the kitchen, I stood up.
“Athena,” Rosemary said coldly, before glaring at Damian. “What are you doing here?” she asked as if I stepped into her personal sphere.
“She came here for the job interview. Rosemary, I introduce you to my now new personal assistant,” Damian said professionally. I blinked again. Was he serious?
“Were you seriously going to cancel our date because of her?” Rosemary asked while she looked at me as if I was trash. I clenched my jaw and took my handbag. I was not really enchanted by the idea of standing there and letting that undercover slut insult me.
“Thank you for the job, Mr. Spears. But I'll have to think about it. I'm going to leave now,” I announced. Rosemary had a wicked grin on her face. Just as I walked past Damian, I hoped that he'd stop me and throw Rosemary out, but he didn't.
“Athena,” Damian's voice stopped me just as I reached the door. I turned to look at him, a little flame of hope still lit. “I'll tell my driver to drop you home,” he said, putting out the flame. I shook my head, my pride hurt to a point where I wanted to slap his pretty face and punch the whore standing by his side.
“No, don't worry. I'll have Ross pick me up,” I told him bef
ore turning my back on him and walking out of his house. That asshole preferred that cheating slut to me. I took a deep breath as I stepped outside. This shit was all messed up. I pulled out my phone from my bag and dialled Ross's number. By the time it was ringing, I had reached the main gate.
“Hello?” Ross's cheery voice came on.
“Hey! I kinda need your help,” I said with a pleading voice.
“What's wrong?” Ross asked, his tone turning serious.
“I need someone to pick me up.”
“I'm busy right now but would you mind if I send my cousin to pick you up?” Ross asked. I shook my head and quickly face palmed myself when Ii realized that Ross was not in front of me. The guards chuckled to themselves, making me huff slightly.
“I won't mind!” I said quickly.
“Text me the address and in five minutes he'll be there,” Ross told me.
“Okay. I'll send it to you,” I told him and ended the call. I sent him the address and wrapped my arms around myself. It was cold outside. I watched as one of the guards approached me.
“Miss, Mr. Spears is asking you to please take the car,” the guard said as he motioned to the black SUV. I snorted while rolling my eyes. “Very ladylike,” the security guard mumbled, making my eyes widen.
“That was rude,” I pointed.
“And so is snorting,” he said, making me chuckle.
“What's your name?” I asked when I realized that he was laughing too.
“Liam,” he said as he put his hand forward. I shook it.
“Athena,” I said.
“Goddess of Wisdom much?” he said with raised eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
“Can you do something?” I asked.
“It depends,” he answered. “What do you want me to do?”
“Tell Damian that I told him to shove his car where the sun doesn't shine,” I told him and Liam shook his head, a smile on his face.
“I think I can do that,” he said and walked to the intercom. While he was gone, I stared at the road and saw a red car approaching. Yeah, that was Ross's car. Liam walked towards me, and he didn't seem really relaxed. “He's coming here,” he announced.
“What?” I asked.
“Mr. Spears told me to tell you to wait for him,” he said and I scoffed. “Too late he's coming,” Liam whispered and walked away. I turned to see Damian standing on his porch. His eyes were on me. I turned around and saw the red car stop in front of me.
“I'm Athena's driver!” the guy in the driver seat announced. I turned and glared at Damian before walking towards the car. Damian looked pissed. Why on earth would he be pissed? He's the one with his ex-girlfriend in there, going on a goddamn date.
“I'm Athena,” I said as I opened the door and got in the car.
“You're sexy.” I lifted my head to look at the guy and I blinked several times when I realized that the guy in front of me was handsome. His blond hair was messy and he had pitch black eyes. A pretty face and a good sense of fashion.
“Thank you?” I said slowly, not really knowing whether I should trust this stranger.
“I'm Chris,” he said with a smirk. “I presume that the man standing there glaring at us is your boyfriend?” he said as he pointed towards Damian.
“Nope. He's a fuck buddy and his girlfriend came home,” I said, wincing at my words. Chris laughed and rested his head against the wheel. I took a deep breath and waited for him to recover from his laughter. “It's his ex-girlfriend actually” I cleared. “Can you drive already?” I asked impatiently as I watched Damian pulling out his phone. He seemed so pissed off and controlling that it was kinda scary and exciting at the same time.
“Where's the fire?” Chris asked sarcastically and I huffed.
“He is!” I motioned towards Damian and slowly Chris nodded.
“Yeah, he looks like he might burst. You should tell him to calm down. He looks like a red fish,” Chris said. What on earth was wrong with this dude? I stared at him and noticed that his eyes were red.
“Are you high?” I shouted and watched as he winced.
“Stop shouting, woman,” he mumbled and started driving while ignoring my question.
“I'm so kicking Ross's ass,” I said as I crossed my arms and stared at the road as he drove to my apartment.
“Same,” the guy mumbled.
“For what particular reason?” I asked with clenched jaw.
“For making me drive a crazy bitch back to her house,” he said. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself.
Maybe I should kick his ass instead of Ross.
Chapter 23
Chris
“Get out already,” Chris said with a huff.
I glared at him but didn't move at all. I wanted to annoy him even more.
“Athena, get out. I have a party to go to.”
I blinked several times. A party? Just what I needed right now. I smirked and watched as Chris sighed.
“I'm coming with you,” I announced.
“I didn't invite you,” Chris pointed out, making me shrug.
“No one will know that I'm crashing.”
“It's my party,” he said with raised eyebrows.
“You left your party to pick up a random girl?” I asked, staring at the guy.
“Yes. And now I'm regretting it.” I gave him an innocent smile and did the puppy eyes.
“Can I come to the party, please?” I asked in a small cute voice.
“I don't even know you.” Chris pointed out.
“Still you picked me up and I'm pretty sure you don't even know half of the people who are at your party right now!” I exclaimed. Chris groaned and huffed before starting the engine. A grin formed on my face as he started driving.
“You're one annoying bitch,” Chris said. I smiled and bowed my head slightly.
“I know, thank you,” I mumbled, staring at the road. I was getting damn bored with the guy. He was too silent. So why not make a conversation? “So Chris, how old are you?” I asked with a smile to act polite.
“24,” he answered.
“You're not going to ask my age?” I asked, tilting my head to the left. This guy was weird.
“I don't want to know,” he scoffed. Well, he was weird... and rude.
“Jeez. Calm down. You're being an asshole,” I said, rolling my eyes.
“After you were a bitch,” he chipped in.
“You're turning this into a competition?” I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“You're so freaking annoying. Can't you just shut up and appreciate the silence?” Chris asked seriously. I huffed but didn't say anything. I could feel my phone buzzing in my pocket. I quickly took it out and stared at the number.
Damian.
I scoffed rather loudly before turning off my mobile phone and sticking it back into my pocket. Chris stared at me for a few seconds and then opened his mouth to talk. But I shook my head glaring. Even though I met the guy a few minutes ago, I already know that he was going to say some annoying shit.
“Even when you're quiet, you're annoying,” Chris commented smoothly. I could detect some playfulness in his voice, thus, I let it go and playfully glared at him. He turned to the left and stopped in front of a huge house. I whistled before nodding my head in appreciation.
“This house is freaking amazing!” I exclaimed as I got out.
“It's mine. Obviously, it's going to be amazing.” He boasted, making me roll my eyes. I stared at him as he stood next to his car. He was muscular and his blond hair fell over his face.
“What do you do for a living?” I asked as I walked to him. He looked down at me and smirked.
“CEO of the Ash corporation,” he said and stared at the house. “And modelling at times,” he added with pride in his eyes. I smiled and shook my head at his dumb but still fine self. He motioned to an R8 which was parked in front of the house. “That's mine,” he said as we walked to the car. “She's my baby,” he whispered as he put his hands on th
e car.
He was high. Damn high.
“Why did you take Ross's car?”
“My baby needed some rest. I've rode her damn hard today,” he said and winked at the sexual reference. I couldn't help but smile at his childish self. “What about you?” he asked.
“What about me?” I repeated and turned to look at him as he leaned against his car.
“Tell me about you. I know for a fact that you're annoying as hell,” he said, making me playfully punch his arm.
“I'm a stripper,” I said, waiting for his reaction.
“No. You're not,” he said as he pulled a packet of cigarettes out of his pocket.
“Why would you say that?” I asked, genuinely interested.
“You don't have the thing to be a stripper. And I've never seen you around stripper clubs. And, you're Athena Amington. If you were a stripper, it would be all over the news,” he said with a smirk while he lit his cigarette. I kept quiet, laughing inside.
If only he knew.
“Good to know you did your research on me,” I mumbled.
“Ross had a mini crush on you after he met the 'Goddess of Wisdom' in the park. He's my cousin so I did my research,” Chris said with a grin. He cared for his family. That's a good thing. He was not a complete asshole.
“Where is he?” I asked.
“Ross?”
“Yeah,” I answered.
“He's fucking some girl name Jasmine,” he said as he took a puff of his cigarette.
“Brunette with black eyes?” I asked and when he nodded, a big smile crept on my face. Jasmine and Ross were somehow meant to be. I didn't even have to play cupid and they're already in each other’s pants.
“You still haven't told me anything about you,” Chris said.
“Why would you want to know about me? I thought I was annoying and bitchy,” I said with a playful smirk. He shrugged and chuckled.
“I'm bored,” he said. I scoffed and motioned towards the house.
“There's a party in there.”
He took a deep breath and stood up properly.
