His words made my heart swell. He rolled me on to my back and took my shirt and panties off. He sucked on my right nipple making my belly clench deep inside; then moved to the left. He gave my nipple a little nibble and pinched the other making me cry out. The sensation, I’d never felt anything so painfully pleasurable. The more he pinched and nibbled the wetter I became. He moved down my body, stopping to kiss below my belly button. “I want you”, he whispered. “Yes”, I replied. Dylan came back up and took my mouth for a deep kiss while rubbing my little ball of flesh with his skilled fingers. He moved back down my body, and replaced his fingers with his flicking tongue. Oh, his mouth, it was such a delectable treat. He inserted two fingers and moved them in a forward motion and I lost control. I was bucking and writhing as he continued the pleasure assault on my body.

“Oh, oh Dylan, I’m gonna come. God! I’m gonna…Now!”

“Yes baby, come for me. Give me everything.”

My orgasm was huge; I was shaking as it took over my body, my senses. A large stream flowed out of my body that I couldn’t control. Dylan was soaked, so was his bed.

“Oh my god Dylan, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened it just felt…really good.”

He shook his head in amazement.

“Brooke that was supposed to happen, I was playing with your G-spot. Hasn’t anyone ever played with that before?”

  “No”, I whispered.

“Hey, it’s okay. I love doing that, it’s hot! Don’t be embarrassed.”

I felt so stupid. How could someone that much younger than me know more about sex than I did? I always knew I wasn’t that experienced but being with Dylan was opening a whole new world to me. My body never knew such pleasures before I met him. Was sex like this for everyone or did Stefan just not do it right? It felt like Dylan was made just for me.

He kissed my forehead and pulled my hands above my head. I could feel the weight of him as he positioned himself over my body. I freed one hand, reached down and slowly guided his cock to my entrance. He pushed himself deep into my opening. I gasped, feeling him spreading me, the heat of our friction. He pulled out, almost completely withdrawing, then re-entered going deeper and deeper with each torturous stroke. My body reacted to every thrust he gave sending wave after wave of pleasure soaring through me. Our hips began dancing with each other, first slow then hard and fast. He was slamming in to me so deep, all of my nerve endings awakened. My pulse quickened and my belly clenched deep within. My orgasm was building, the muscles in my wall squeezing him tighter and tighter. We were both sweating, panting, wanting; ready for release. I moaned and screamed as my body quivered beneath him, feeling his hot thick liquid filling me. He collapsed on top of me kissing my lips, neck and whispered softly in my ear, “I want you Brooke; I want you more than anything.”

We were just about to get in the shower when Dylan’s phone rang. Looking at the caller id he said, “I have to take this.” Ten minutes later I turned the water off and got dressed for bed. Dylan was still in the room when I walked in. He had an intense look on his face. Well, here’s a side of Dylan I’ve never seen. He’s always so calm and in control. He shouted in the phone making me jump. Whoever was on the other end of the phone had sure managed to piss him off. I’d never seen him so angry, it was frightening. Just who the hell was Dylan Prescott and what was I thinking getting involved with him? Then I heard him snap through the phone, “I’ll be there.” He hung up; then came to me.

“I’m sorry Brooke but I have to leave for a while. You can sleep in your room tonight. My housekeeper will be back from vacation tomorrow and she’ll take care of the sheets.”

“Where are you going this late at night”, I asked.

Dylan gave me a glaring stare that cut right through me.

“Please don’t ask questions Brooke. I can’t answer that.”

What the hell? He was so damn mercurial. Then he turned grabbed his jacket and left.

Worry and anger flooded my senses. Where could he possibly be going this late at night? Not to mention, his whole demeanor had changed with one phone call. I was tired, confused; hurt. I went to my room and pulled down the covers and climbed in. It felt good to lie down but my mind was racing. I couldn’t help but think about Stefan and how I would have to face him in court in the morning. Another surge of anger came over me; anger for having to leave my home and being forced to stay with someone I didn’t know much about. It was clear that Stefan didn’t give a shit about me at all.

I allowed myself to think about Dylan and where he might have gone. It wasn’t any of my business, but if I had to guess, I was sure it had something to do with the hag muffin, Misty. I hated her and I wondered how many nights she had spent with Dylan in his bed; did he love her as good as he loved me? He didn’t owe me anything and he had been more than accommodating over the past few days but I couldn’t ignore my feelings. I snuggled with my pillow and cried until I fell asleep.

Startled by another nightmare, I glanced at the clock. The time read 4 a.m. and Dylan still hadn’t come home. I knew it wasn’t my place to worry but I did. I forced myself back to sleep knowing the day ahead would be tough. I don’t know what time Dylan got in but when I rolled over he was lying next to me. I took him in, watching him sleep, he looked pained. I let my fingers glide over his hard, bare chest down toward his happy trail. Even in sleep he was hard. He stirred and I pulled my hand away not wanting to wake him. I leaned forward placing a kiss on his temple and whispered, “you have me.”

  CHAPTER 7

I showered and dressed in a light dress for court. Taking extra care, I straightened my hair then lightly applied my make-up. My face was still sore from the slaps that Stefan had given me but the bruises were beginning to fade. I looked as good as I possibly could. Needing my morning caffeine fix, I went to the kitchen and started the coffee maker. A few short seconds later, I heard the little beeping sound indicating the coffee was ready. I poured myself a cup, spilling it all over the counter. Shit. I quickly grabbed a towel and wiped the mess. Dylan came out of nowhere, sneaking up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

  “Don’t”, I said as I pulled away.

  “Are you ready for today?”

“Not really but I don’t think I have much of choice, now do I?”

“No. I suppose you don’t. It’s all going to work out Brooke, don’t worry.”

“Dylan…where the hell did you go last night?”

  He looked angry and yelled.

“Brooke I told you to leave it alone! Don’t ask me that again. Do you understand?”

I backed away further in to the kitchen.

“Fuck you! What kind of shit are you into? Or did you go running to Misty after you fucked the hell out of me? What? I’m not enough for you?”

I was fuming, on edge and I’d felt used.

“What? “You think I left you to go fuck Misty? Do you not listen to the way I talk to her? I’ve told her to fuck off every time she’s called. Why would I fuck Misty when I’m with you?”

“I’ve heard stories about you Dylan. I know how you like to play with women, sometimes dating more than one woman at a time.”

“Oh so you believe every damn thing you hear about me, do you? God damn it Brooke! You piss me off. Just for the record, I don’t just go around sticking my dick in every woman I see. I have fucking standards and I figured you were mature enough to figure that out instead of listening to all of the gossiping cunts at work!”

“Well then why is it so hard for you to tell me where you went last night?”

He ran his hands through his hair and shook his head.

“I don’t owe you shit. You’ll believe what you want to believe anyway. If you think I left to fuck Misty, then I guess that’s where I was. Maybe in time Brooke, you’ll learn to trust to me and realize that I’m not the asshole that you’re portraying me to be. We need to leave now or we’ll be late for court.”

“Go to hell. After court I’ll be packing my sh
it and moving in with Mandy. Then you can go back to your cushy little life and spend as much time with that hag muffin as you want.”

  Dylan glared at me.

It was a rough morning. It was true that I loved him; that he had me in every way but I wasn’t willing to tolerate his bullshit and lies. I knew he was keeping something from me and it hurt like hell that he wouldn’t tell me. I figured it was best to just let him go before things got too serious and out of hand. Before I lost myself completely to him and ended up alone again.

The drive to the courthouse was deadly silent. Neither one of us spoke or looked at the other. I could feel the anger radiating off of Dylan. I didn’t care. He would have to learn to trust me too.

We entered the judge’s chambers and I was instructed to take a seat. A clerk swore me in and then I explained how the events with Stefan had landed me there.

“I have reviewed the photos and the police report Ms. Stone. There is enough evidence for a restraining order against Mr. Arici and you do realize he is a highly respected attorney in this city?”

  I nodded.

  “Yes. Your honor.”

“Ms. Stone I have reviewed your records and it looks like you had some trouble as a minor that carried over on to your adult record. Is this accurate?”

Shit. Of course they would look in to me. How dare I make accusations against the great Stefan.

“Yes. Your honor. That is accurate.”

“Ms. Stone, were there any witnesses to Mr. Arici’s attack on you?”

“Yes. Your honor. Amber Martinelli. She was in the room with Mr. Arici and me during the confrontation.”

“Did she see him physically assault you?”

  “Sort of, your honor.”

  “Please elaborate Ms. Stone.”

“She saw him grab me by the hair and pull me back as I was trying to leave the room. Then he instructed her leave while he continued to assault me.”

“I see. So there are no actual witnesses to the physical altercation itself?”

  “I guess not, your honor.”

“Has Mr. Arici tried to contact you?”

  “No, your…”

  Dylan interrupted.

“Excuse me judge. Yes. He has tried to contact her many times over the past couple of days. I’ve had my security team monitoring her texts, emails and phone calls.”

I mouthed over at Dylan, “what the fuck?”

  He shrugged.

“Have there been any threatening messages?”

“No, your honor. There have not.”

“Well then, due to the fact that there are no witnesses to Ms. Stone’s allegations, I have no choice but to declare that no restraining order will be granted. I will however, order Mr. Arici out of his home for twenty-four hours so that you may collect your personal items without him present. That is my final ruling. Good day.”

I felt myself deflating, all confidence leaving my body. I realized that I would be looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life. Stefan had won again.

We were leaving the judge’s chambers when heard two familiar voices. As we walked further into the hall, there stood Stefan and my father laughing and patting one another on the back. I stood paralyzed for a moment; then ran out of the courthouse as fast as I could. Watching my father stand there with the man that had assaulted me; was the ultimate betrayal. Tears were streaming down my face as I ran toward Dylan’s truck. I knew he was right behind me, calling my name but I needed to put as much distance between me and the two people in the courthouse as I possibly could. When I reached the truck, Dylan pulled me in the tightest embrace and held me while I sobbed out in public for the whole world to see.

I realized that my relationship with my father was over. I would never trust him again. All that crap that my mother had spewed over the phone about him loving me was just a load shit. The only person my father loved was the son he had never had, Stefan. I don’t think he ever loved me. He never treated my sister as badly as he treated me. Stephanie was always daddy’s little girl. When my mother found out she was pregnant with me he was damn sure I was a boy. After my grand entrance in to the world and the announcement of another girl, my father wanted nothing to do with me. It had always been that way. Then I went and really fucked up, got in the accident and drove an even deeper wedge between us. Every day I wished like hell I could erase that nightmare that had become my life.

Wiping my tears, I broke our embrace. “I need you to take me to my apartment.”

I couldn’t see putting off the inevitable any longer. He tried to argue but I sent him a glaring stare and he backed off. I was in no mood to be messed with. I needed to move on with my life.

“Let me call Detective Tyler and see if he can meet us there.”

“Dylan… just take me there. I’ll get my stuff and be out of your way this afternoon.”

“You are incredulous Brooke. I understand that you’re upset but why are you trying to run from me?”

  Irritation ran through my blood.

“Are you serious Dylan? You have the nerve to ask me that?”

“I don’t want to fight with you Brooke. I just need to understand why you don’t want to stay with me.”

“Oh my god! I am so fucking pissed at you! You fuck me and then immediately leave me to go service your ex! Why the hell would I want to stay with you?”

Dylan’s eyes glazed over, his lips set in a thin line. His voice calm, too calm.

“I already told you, I wasn’t with Misty last night damn it. I want nothing to do with her. I only want you.”

“Until you get tired of me like you got tired of her? We’re just fuck buddies too, aren’t we Dylan? Isn’t that the agreement?”

“Actually, no Brooke. It isn’t. That’s the agreement you made up in your head to make it okay for you to sleep with me. I never agreed to that stupid shit.”

“Then explain to me where you went last night and why you weren’t home at 4 a.m.”

“Fuck! Brooke, why can’t you just leave this alone?”

“Because you fucked me senseless and then walked out on me. That’s why. I’ve never felt so used in my life. Stefan didn’t even pull that shit.”

He turned, giving me a deadly stare.

“Don’t you ever compare me to that fucking dick. Ever! Do you understand me? I am nothing like him. I would never touch you or any woman for that matter like that asshole has.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. You’re right. You just fuck em and leave em.”

“This conversation is over Brooke. You’re trying to pick a fight and I’m not going to oblige.”

“Right. Well, like I said. After we’re done here, you won’t need to worry about doing anything with me anymore. You can go back to servicing your secret.”

  ***

Walking in to my apartment felt like stepping in to a foreign land. I barely recognized my surroundings. Stefan had changed everything. I took a deep breath and went to my old room. Before this mess had happened, I’d been packing but my clothes were no longer in the room. I realized that Stefan must have moved them to the guest room. I combed through the closet to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything. I took a step back, shocked. It certainly hadn’t taken Stefan long to move on. Already hanging in the closet was a complete wardrobe for a woman. I assumed the clothes belonged to Amber, but knowing Stefan, I guess anything was possible. I hated him more than anyone on the planet. He had taken so much from me and given so little. Looking back, I could see there were signs but I was too stupid to notice. I made a promise to myself to never be that damn naïve again.

Gathering my clothes and personal belongings, I was grateful that chapter in my life had ended. I knew starting over wasn’t going to be easy; it felt invigorating to finally be on my own. The drive back to Dylan’s was much like the whole day had been, quiet and filled with intense emotions. My plan was to get my things and leave him too. As soon as I had everything I needed, I would call Mandy and have her come pick me up. I would dea
l with getting my car from Dylan at a later time. That’s if he didn’t cancel it. Better have a backup plan. I took in my surroundings for the last time, shutting the door I fell to the floor and cried until I had nothing left.

Hours later there was a knock on the door. It was Dylan.

“Brooke? Are you okay? Open the door.”

“I’m fine Dylan. Just leave me alone.”

“I can’t do that. I need to talk to you, now. It’s urgent.”

Well fuck! So much for alone time.

I pulled myself up and let him in.

“Brooke we need to leave. You’re not safe here.”

I was feeling irritated with him.

“Cut the bullshit Dylan. We’re fine here. You have an entire security team that’s apparently been keeping tabs on my every move.”

“You’re right, I do have a security team and they take damn good care of me and right now they are taking care of you too. That is why I am telling you we need to leave. You’re not safe and neither am I. There are things that you don’t know about me Brooke, and I plan on rectifying every one of those issues while were away. Pack light, we already have clothes waiting for us at the house.”

“What? Come on Dylan. If you think Stefan is going to hurt us; you’re nuts.”

I knew I was trying his patience but I really thought he’d lost his mind.

“Listen to me”, he said. “I don’t have time for this arguing game with you but just so you know, your ex-boyfriend knows some very powerful people. I wouldn’t put it past him to call in a favor. We have to go.”

I could hear the urgency in his tone. I packed a small bag and in less than five minutes, we were in the elevator headed for the garage.

  CHAPTER 8

I stared out the window as we merged onto interstate. What I wanted to do was tell him to take me to Mandy’s so I could get away from him. I was still mad at him but the panic in his voice when he knocked on my door told me that we were in serious danger.
