Capturing Their Flame [Stone Passions 1] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 21

“I’ll suck them. I want to taste the sweet flesh first. I love your taste, Naomi. Have I told you that?” He nuzzled the peak before nuzzling between the globes and licking that spot.

“I love your taste.” She twisted beneath him, her feet braced on the blanket.

He made his way up the other breast and flicked the nipple. He closed his lips over the flesh. He plucked at the nub with them before grazing it with his teeth. A shiver rippled over her body. Oh yeah, that’s the reaction he wanted. He needed much more than that. She had to be panting and moaning for more before he slipped his cock into her.

He pressed his fingers between the lips of her pussy. Her moisture coated his fingers. She lifted against his hand. He curled two of his fingers over her clit. Her thighs tensed, clasping around his hips as if trying to hold his fingers exactly there.

He drew circles around the sensitive tissue wanting to push her desire to a high point fast. While he worked there, he sucked her nipple. His tongue flicked at the tip to add another sensation.

She twisted and arched. He pressed his thumb over her clit and lowered his fingers, pressing two into her pussy. He thrust them deep. Her inner walls clamped on his fingers.

The muscles tightened and pulled as if trying to draw them into her. He loved it. A little more and he could slide into her. She lifted her hips. Small whimpers escaped her.

His fingers pumped into her as he’d like to do with his cock, while he drew circles over her clit with his thumb. He scraped his teeth over her nipple sucking at it. The smell of her desire and the heat of her skin lured him closer. The fire within her drew him closer.

He wanted to push her desire higher to stoke that blaze to greater heights. He moved to her other nipple, giving the neglected bud some attention. Suck and nip, he soothed and then teased. She wriggled trying to find her pleasure. When he could feel the rhythmic pull and realized she was close, he pulled back.

“I want her at the bottom of the bed on her belly.” Neil glanced over at Isaac to see if he’d understood what he meant.

The top mattress stood at almost the right height, but he’d have to lift her hips a little. He hoped this position worked. Naomi wouldn’t be as tempted to reach or try to pull her hands away to get what she wanted.

Isaac nodded. Neil grabbed her hips and pulled her with him as he moved to the end of the bed. Once there, he flipped her onto her belly. Her legs hung off the bed. She turned a little to glance back at him.

“Now, Neil.” She pushed her hips back.

Neil smiled. He grasped her hips, lifting them and stepping forward until his cock brushed her pussy. He rocked his hips, teasing her with the feel of the head brushing back and forth over her clit. Her body trembled and a moan rolled from her lips.

“I love hearing the moans coming from you. It’s worth the ache to tease you even when I’m burning for you.” Neil slid into her pussy. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her back.

He pulled back and thrust forward. She moaned, the sound rough and sexy.

“I love the way you clench your muscles on me. I also love having all the control, baby. I can go slow, pulling out and sinking back into you.” He suited action to words. He rocked into her slowly for a few strokes.

“You’re a bastard for teasing me.” He saw her clench Isaac’s hand, holding on as her body tightened.

She needed more than the slow motion of his hips. He deliberately withheld the friction and force that she needed for the moment. His hands tightened on her hips.

“You know that I’ll give you what you need.” He kissed her shoulder.

“Would you like to be tied down, baby. At my mercy. I could give you a couple small orgasms before I rode you.” He quickened his pace a little, but tried to hold onto his control.

The clench of her inner muscles and a rush of fluid said she thought that might be interesting. He wanted the words though. He clenched his teeth and pulled back, but didn’t slide back into her.

“Neil!” She glanced back at him. She drew in quick shallow breaths and her skin glistened with a light film of sweat.

“Would you like to try it?” He held her hips still. He ached to thrust back into her.

“Yes, Neil, but later.” She tried to push back onto his cock.

His lips kicked up at that. “Definitely later. Now, it’s time to ride you hard.”

He nudged his cock into her and sank deep before pulling back. He released the last bit of control he had. His hips shuttled back and forth pushing his cock deep into her. Her sweet buttocks cushioned him as he plunged into her sheath.

The pulling contractions of her muscles ripped at him. She cried out. She pressed back into his thrusts. Her body shook as she found her pleasure. He reached for the sweet bliss waiting for him.

The ripple of her pussy over him tormented him, driving him to thrust harder and faster. He pulled her to hips tight against his as he came. He leaned down, brushing kisses over her back. She trembled.

She wasn’t fertile, so they didn’t need to use anything. They hadn’t talked of children yet, so when she was fertile they’d have to discuss whether to use protection or try for a baby. Now, he reveled in the slick heat that surrounded his shaft.

She rested her head against the mattress and moaned. The contented sound made him want to snuggle right up against her and cause her to her make that sound again and again. He released her hips.

Isaac drew her back up the bed. She snuggled against him and kissed his cheek. Neil went to the bathroom and got rid of the condom. He washed up and returned to the bed. With a sigh, he eased in beside Naomi and kissed her neck and shoulder. He’d be content to stay here for the day, but he didn’t think she’d stay still that long.

  Chapter Thirty

Neil got out of the car and walked around to the open Naomi’s door. He glanced around as he opened the door. Very few people wandered through the park today. Happiness simmered inside him. He’d hoped to give her romantic night at a nice hotel, but until they caught the goblins behind these attacks, everyone should spend their nights within the community. He didn’t see any danger around today.

He hadn’t been willing to chance a public park. An Appari might appear, but he worried about the far more dangerous Gobel. The corrupt Gobel had ambushed him in the last attacks. Perhaps the openness and the location in the Gargoyle community would work in their favor.

The Gobel should hesitate to attack here. He wouldn’t put anything past those corrupt. They’d attacked in a parking lot that was monitored. Signs at the entrance and exit of the building announced it.

“Relax.” Isaac hissed the word in his ear. “Everything will be all right.”

The weight of his hand on Neil’s shoulder drew Neil’s attention. He glanced at Isaac and realized Isaac thought Neil was nervous about what they planned. Not the problem. He didn’t fear her response.

Naomi had relaxed around them. He’d seen her acceptance of them and her place in their life. She wouldn’t run away from them.

“I know.” He didn’t elaborate. He didn’t want to make her curious about what they planned.

  Isaac nodded and stepped back.

“Let’s get the things and go eat.” Neil smiled to show that everything was all right.

“Why don’t you walk ahead and find a nice spot, baby? We’ll grab everything out of the back. We’ll be right behind you.” Isaac trailed his fingers over her cheek.

“You aren’t afraid that I’ll take off running?” She smiled up at them.

“Not at all. Go on. Somewhere shady will do nicely.” Neil drew his hand down her back and cupped her buttocks.

She’d settled in finally. Because of the threat that had focused on the Gargoyle, she still accompanied them to work. They’d theorized that those behind it knew of certain people who might be a Gargoyle. Those people had been targeted. They seemed to have focused on Isaac, Naomi, and him. Until the trouble ended, they’d guard her.

  “Let’s go. As much as I t
rust her, I don’t want to let her get too far ahead.” Neil reached into the back and grabbed the bouquet of flowers, and the bag with the drinks in it.

“What’s wrong?” Isaac asked as he grabbed the basket and the small bag with the ring in it.

Neil had gone shopping for it one day after work. He and Isaac had traded texts and pictures for an hour before they settled on this ring. He hoped she liked it and it fit.

“I’m a little nervous. With the recent attacks, I want to be close enough to get to her if anything happens.” Neil looked ahead to where Naomi turned toward a group of trees. “I don’t want anything to mess this up.”

“Neither do I, but I’m fairly sure we’re good out here in public. This is a deviation of what we normally do. They can’t have planned a trap for us.” Isaac clasped Neil’s shoulder.

Neil couldn’t shake the tight feeling in his gut or the nervousness that made him want to go grab her and hustle her back to the car. Their plans would be ruined though. He wanted this to be special.

“I think she’s found a good spot over there near those trees. Too bad this is public. We could have some fun.” Isaac began striding toward Naomi.

Neil had to agree about the spot beneath a large oak. The branches heavy with leaves formed a large shady area that they’d all enjoy. It would offer a cooler area for their lunch and a little privacy. He wished they had a secluded area they could enjoy her.

“We can have some fun later. Right now, we’ll give her a little romance that she can remember.” Neil glanced over at Isaac. Not that he wouldn’t mind spreading her out on that blanket. He’d be tempted to do it if she responded to their question as he thought she would. They hadn’t wanted to ask her during a normal night at home.

Isaac grunted. They began walking over to join her. Most afternoons, boys used the grassy area for pickup games of football.

Neil saw movement near the tree close where Naomi waited for them. He frowned and quickened his pace. The tension in his muscles ratcheted up to another level. He’d feel stupid if a bird or squirrel had caught his eyes, but he needed to be closer to her.

A shadowy form stepped out from behind the tree. That was no fucking animal. Whoever, whatever it was, had moved close to Naomi. Neil dropped everything he carried and sprinted forward. He didn’t know how it got there. At the moment, he didn’t care. He wanted them away from his woman.

Fear hit him as he realized a Gobel stood almost within arm’s reach of her. The gray skin and the shock of red hair made it easy to identify it. Naomi spun. She must have heard something behind her.

His chest tightened and his stomach clenched. Damn it, no. He wouldn’t let anything happen to her. Nothing mattered other than getting to her.

Naomi slashed her hand out at waist level. When the Gobel jumped back, Neil realized she must have pulled out her blade. It wouldn’t hold the creature off for long, but he might be able to get to her before it could hurt her because of it.

Neil heard footsteps behind him. Isaac raced to help. Neither one of them would have to worry about Naomi getting involved after they managed to pull her clear of the danger.

One of them could take the Gobel down. The other could keep her safe. They wouldn’t be alone long. Someone would see the fight, and if they couldn’t help, they’d call in someone to aid them.

Naomi jabbed at the Gobel as it lunged toward her. He didn’t know what it tried to do. He’d expected it to take a swipe at her with its claws. He heard the thing growl right before he saw it bare pointed teeth. Neil raced straight past her. He grabbed the Gobel and swung it away from her.

Neil released the creature and watched it stumble and crash to the ground. He advanced. He drew in deep breaths, trying to get his emotions under control. It wasn’t good to let rage, fear, or anger overpower him while fighting. Now that Naomi would be safe, he could take a calmer approach to this.

The Gobel didn’t have his claws out. Not yet. Neil didn’t fool himself that they’d remain sheathed now that he faced a male Gargoyle. Now, he could think. If they could manage to keep this creature alive and capture him, they could take him back and maybe get some answers before the betas or the Cim dispatched them.

Neil advanced. He swung for the Gobel’s chin, hoping to knock him out quickly without a bloody fight. His hand connected, the red haired thing stumbled, but didn’t go down. Neil saw the claws burst from the tips of its fingers. It swiped at him. Neil jumped back, but immediately danced close again.

He wouldn’t free his claws unless necessary. He sliced a punch up into the creature’s gut and kicked, the blow landing solidly on its leg. He didn’t want to hobble it. Not yet. It would come out fighting desperately.

He skipped away from another low swipe at his gut. Those claws could do significant damage. He eased back in. He sent two quick punches, one at the body, the next for the chin.

The Gobel stumbled and shook his head. It screamed and swung wildly. Neil saw him glance to the right and took the opportunity to slam a solid punch into his jaw. The Gobel went down. Neil approached it cautiously. He saw others creeping forward, as well.

Neil pressed his knee into the creature’s back and grabbed the wrist nearest him to ensure it didn’t grab his leg and sink its claws into him. He wouldn’t put anything past it. The creature would know that it wouldn’t escape from this. It wouldn’t hesitate to take someone with it. It didn’t even try to wiggle. Its muscles remained relaxed.

“Here, Neil. I’ve got some restraints.” Cael knelt beside Neil and secured one hand.

Neil took a deep breath. Cael must have taken community security today. Since the recent incidents, one of the betas stayed within the community or close at all times. Thane’s position as a doctor had a regular schedule. He could sometimes be here, but Cael and Dante ran the security firm.

“With pleasure. The temptation to slam that thing’s head against the ground until it dies is almost irresistible.” Neil backed away from the Gobel.

“Doesn’t matter if you wanted to. You didn’t. Now we have someone that we can ask a few pointed questions. We’ll get some valuable information from him before we send him on.” Cael lifted the unconscious Gobel.

“I believe you and Isaac dropped a few things on your way across the field,” Troy Jacobs said. He was one of the men who worked security for the community.

“We’ll get something to eat. That’s for sure, but the rest of what we brought with us will wait.” Neil gritted his teeth.

That damn Gobel had ruined the entire afternoon. They had to come up with something else to make their declaration special. Ordinary wouldn’t do.

Naomi looked shocked. Her face had paled and her hands shook. They needed to give her time to calm down before they sprung their question on her. This would be memorable, but for all of the wrong reasons.

  Chapter Thirty-One

Naomi glanced over at Neil as he drove her back to the community. Today had been strange. Yesterday had been a nightmare. First that attack at lunch. She had noticed the flowers and a smaller bag that they’d picked up when they’d walked back to the car. They’d planned something for that picnic. Now, she had no doubt they worked on a scheme.

Neil hadn’t been with her for most of the day. He’d sat her at the desk and said he had a presentation to do. She didn’t buy it. He hadn’t taken anything with him. On top of that, he hadn’t gone to the conference room, but headed toward the elevators.

They trusted her now. When Neil had walked away, he’d given her the explicit proof she’d seen to this point. Not that she’d needed this type of statement. It had been in their easier attitude with her.

The way they didn’t watch her every move any longer. At this point, she came to work with them so they could keep her safe. She’d also been online multiple times without one of them constantly looking over her shoulder. Although he’d had conferences before, she didn’t quite buy the sudden presentation that he hadn’t prepared for yesterday or this morning.

She couldn’t shake the feeling that they had something arranged for tonight. The smile Neil had given her when he’d come into the office to get her raised her suspicions. She’d also seen him send off a quick text right before they left.

Maybe she should toss out a plan for tonight and see what he had in mind? “I thought we could go out to that restaurant Isaac took me to. We could eat. It would be a nice time away from the house and the computer screen. I need to spend some more time studying, but I also need a break.”

“I don’t know what Isaac has planned. I didn’t think you had any tests until the end of the month.” Neil sent a sharp glance over at her.

“No tests. I like to keep on top of things. I’m not a wait until the last minute type of person.” Naomi smiled over at him. Yes, they were planning something.

“We’ll talk to Isaac about it. He might have something planned for tonight.” Neil lifted a shoulder. “Did you get a lot done today while I was out of the office?”

“Yeah, I did, but I did miss having you there.” She smiled. After he’d left, she’d found it a little hard to concentrate for a while. Eventually, she’d gotten back to her classes.

They arrived home and she exhaled. It was good to be here. She liked their house and felt most relaxed here. It had come to be home, but not because of the house itself. Isaac and Neil made it home.

Neil came around and opened her door for her. They wanted to make sure no one waited nearby before she left the safety of the car. She would give them that. Especially after that damn thing had attacked them in the park. She would have nightmares about that for weeks.

“Well, let’s go talk to Isaac about what he has planned for tonight.” Neil curved an arm around her and began walking her into the house.

“Mmm, I think you both have something planned.” She glanced at Neil from the corner of her eye.
