  Porth Marghas Puskes - Gwaelic for Fish market Cove.

  Port of Niarg - south of Castle Niarg on the east end of Niarg Bay at the mouth of the Shallow Sand River.

  Powlen Oer - (Cold Basin) the alpine lake in the Mynoedd Machlud (Sunset Mountains) which feeds the Wraith River.

  Red Desert - the red arid lands surrounding the Stone Forest in the Wilderlands.

  Rhiw Mawreddog - (Grand Hill), the abandoned lookout for Goldtown, atop an extinct volacno.

  Saddle, the - a high pass over the divide of the Jutland Mountains.

  Shacknasty Manor - Ashmore country estate of the Shacknasty family, cattle breeders.

  Silff - (Shelf), the pass through the Ash Mountains from the South Branch of the North Fork of the Loxmere River to Cwm Eryr.

  Silver Dragon - tavern across the street from Fates' Hospital, where Minuet and Bethan ate dinner.

  Sleityn Beayn - see Eternal Mountains.

  Sliabh Buile - (Mount Furor) see Mount Sliabh.

  Slieau Eulys - (Mount Furor) see Mount Sliabh.

  South Branch - the south branch which drains Ffynnon into the North Fork of the Loxmere River.

  Spring 'n' Drain - the hollow directly in front of Lukus and Soraya's cavern where Daniel and Ariel grew up, forming a great volcanic trough with an enormous gushing spring at its top and emptying into a gaping limestone sink at its bottom.

  Spring 'n' Drain - the name sometimes given for New Gairdin.

  Spring 'n' Drain - the oasis of the Elves in the Black Desert.

  Standing Rock - a huge isolated rock on the far west edge of Beakmore (Gobbler Marsh).

  Stone Forest - a vast arid petrified forest west of the Great Barrier Mountains and south of Gerddi Teg, Meri Greenwood's subterranean village in the Great North Woods.

  Sunset Mountains - (Mynoedd Machlud) a mountain chain running up and down the western coast of the Northern Continent.

  Sweetpea - village in Loxmere, next to the Jutwoods.

  Swydd Dyfnaint - a county in Niarg, a broad jut of land forming the south shore of Niarg Bay and the northern shores of the Gulf of Orin.

  Tafarn Coch - (Red Tavern) an inn in Goldtown, south of Gold Lake, where King James's cyflymder, Dewer, was quartered during his escape from the dungeon of Castle Goll.

  Tavern Hall - the large vault which served as a tavern (without rooms), kitchen and dining hall for both the Vaults of Niarg and the Vaults of Loxmere- Goll. See Vaults.

  Temperate Sea - the small ocean between the Eastern Continent and the Dark Continent and between the Orin Ocean and the Argos Ocean.

  Theranholm - the castle of Bratin Brute, sometimes called Bratin Hall.

  Tnassip - Niarg coastal town north of Niarg Proper.

  Tomb of the Three Sisters - (Towmb of the Three Susters), see Bedd Chwiorydd Tair.

  Toothy Ridge - the Eternal Mountain Divide, known as Dreeym Feeacklagh during the time of Spitemorta's empire, and was originally known as Droim Fiacail during the time of the Elven exodus onto the Strah.

  Toull - (Hole) firehead caverns along the Wraith River in the Black Desert.

  Ty Bran - (Crow House) the original name for Tnassip. See Tnassip.

  Tywyllwch - see Dark Continent.

  Ubh Ollmhor - (Giant Eggs) see Oohyn Feer Vooar.

  Valley of Illusions - south of the Cyclops Plateaus in Cyclopsia.

  Vault of the Circle - a large cavern housing an enormous circular table, used for meetings of the Extended Council.

  Vaults - the series of spectacular caverns at the New Dragon Caves which were donated by the dragons to the refugees of Spitemorta and Demonica's burgeoning for indefinite use that became the Vaults of Niarg, the Vaults of Loxmere-Goll, Razzmorten's Tower Sink, Tavern Hall and the Circle.

  Vaults of Loxmere-Goll - King James and Queen Mary's underground castle at the New Dragon Caves. See Vaults.

  Vaults of Niarg - Queen Minuet's underground castle at the New Dragon Caves. See Vaults.

  Vorona's Gap - also called Doras (Door) in the early days and Doarlish (Gap) in later times, a narrow open fault in the bedrock of the Eternal Mountains due East of Baile Gairdin used as a pass to the Great Strah.

  Wilderlands - (Duiche Fhiain) extensive unexplored lands in the western interior of the Northern Continent.

  World Hall - Spitemorta's name for the great hall in her new castle at Niarg.

  Wraith River - river near the New Dragon Caves in the Black Desert.

  Yar-Vor - (John Dory) a village next to Demonica's catoptrolite mine on the Dark Continent.

  Yellow Rose Tavern - down the street from Fates' Hospital. Minuet and Bethan stayed there while working at the hospital.

  Yn Cheer My Hiar - (The East Country) see Eastern Continent.
